Bok Bok Mediterranean

I really wanted to love this spot but it was just meh. The chicken was average and nothing really stood out other than the hummus. That was really good. Service was extremely slow and I noticed a lot of people were getting upset. We waited for over 20 minutes for a half chicken with a salad. Not a spot I'd return to.

The only reason I drove over to try Bok Bok was because of the review left from the little guy who had great food but didn't get a free desert! I had the Shawerma Pita. It was delicious. I didn't order a dessert and didn't expect one. My wife had the Shawerma plate. They were nice enough to sub the rice with salad.

I believe the relatively low rating for this restaurant is due to the number of one-star reviews left because they weren't actually an open business yet, or those mistakenly leaving reviews for another location. It's now open and it's really good. As a vegetarian, the name of this restaurant didn't initially entice me toward it. But after doing a search and seeing the menu, I decided to try it and I'm so glad I did! I went the day after its Grand Opening on a Sunday afternoon - it was busy. I ordered the veggie plate with the hummus (vice muttabal) and tabbouleh (vice fattoush) options. Despite the crowd, service was fast. The falafel is made to order and I'm not sure I've ever had any other quite so good. The outside was wonderfully crisp with the delicious, soft inside. I dunked it in my hummus and it was gone in minute. Really delicious. I had never had quinoa eech before - where has this been all my life?! It was incredibly savory, but not at all heavy. Delightful. Each meal comes with a little side of pickled turnips. Really, surprisingly tasty. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Since, as I mentioned, this is a new establishment, there were some small hiccups with the ordering process - asking if your order is here or to go, calling things out to the line, etc. I'm sure these will be worked out as they get their feet under them. Overall, this might be my new favorite vegetarian option in the Aliante area.

1st time here and really enjoyed it. Clean modern setup and really decent food. Priced about $10 for your entree but still really good food. Friendly employees and very welcoming. I'll go back soon - try it you'll probably like it too

The food smells and looks better than it tastes for real. Plus it takes FOREVER to get your food. Chicken was SUPER dry, pita bread was chewy and served cold. Like why? Potatoes were way too sour and also cold. There are so many better choices. Like the Mediterranean grill Cafe is definitely better. Oh and the prices are high, especially for what you get. Never again for me.

Accidentally came by for their grand opening. The rice and chicken are really great! My husband was quite pleased with their shawarma wrap as well. The hummus was ok. Everyone was nice and things were efficient even though it was crazy with how many people were there. I hope they keep up the quality and service and do well!

It wasn't too bad, we couldn't order any chicken items because the chicken was still being cooked, we'd have to wait 20 minutes, and we were in a rush so we couldn't wait. Where I'm glad they make everything fresh, to have this not ready because I'm sure this one of the items that serve mainly their items are all chicken, I don't think they should run out, and they don't have freshly brewed iced tea, even though item that we did have which was the Steak Gyro oh, it was pretty good, I wanted a little bit more spicy since the sauce that they gave me taste it like a spaghetti sauce spiced up, and the tzatziki, it really tastes like it should. So overall it was just okay,

Amazing fresh food and a staff that had a passion for the work. We hit them up the day they opened and have zero regrets. The hummus was super fresh, the meats where juicy and tender, and the prices were great! They even tossed in some freebies as part of their grand opening celebration! Don't wait, go to Bokbok today!
