BOLT EaHo

After some days of sightseeing in LA, my husband and I just wanted to chill at a relaxing cafe and BOLT hit the spot. We were enamoured by the photos of the outdoor dining area and we wanted to see it for ourselves. It was a nice quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of LA. Though the chairs and tables can be littered with fallen leaves and debris, they didn't bother us too much. We got the meatloaf sandwich (which tasted more meat than loaf) and the bolt bowl. The latter was really good and the chicken even had a hint of pa kra pao (Thai basil) - probably because the cafe is in Thai Town? I really liked the bowl a lot and best of all - it's keto yet filling! The eggs over easy made the bowl creamy, yum! The iced tea was also refillable and was not sugary at all with a nice subtle fruitiness. Service was also great and warm!

A great place, nice people, great staff. Excellent for a lunch, a quick snack or a coffee break from a busy day. A big plus is the garden in the back where you can sit back and enjoy the day. Also good if you prefer working outside in the sun. A warm recommendation.

Delicious brunch spot near to the Griffiths observatory. Everything we had was delicious and the prices reasonable. Lots of people working at laptops in the weekdays. Water chute at the back of the store. The girl and guy working there were so helpful and both individually talked us through all of the sweet options without bother (and There’s a lot of them!) I had the oatmeal raisin cookie and was one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. We had the breakfast sandwiches and they were 10/10 too. They don’t have any vegan pastries and not many vegan brunches though FYI! (Thankfully didn’t apply to us). Great playlist and cold brew too! Would highly recommend

I had ordered avocado toast with egg fried , cortado and chilaquiles. Avo toast tasted okayish . I felt it had less salt and little bland for my taste buds . Ambiance was nice for a breakfast ! It had a LA vibe too!

Have been coming every day for the last 3 days. Near my hotel. Good coffee. Decent breakfast. Opens relatively early- 7AM. Excellent Wi Fi and dog friendly- got to see many dogs.

LOVE: the baked goods, the chicken burrito bowl! Service is always awesome and this is a fantastic place to work with both indoor ant outdoor seating. Pastries are next level and the menu items are fresh and healthy

Love this place! It’s around the corner from my office and the food here is great! Their homemade baked goods are amazing. I recommend eating the Turkey Ruben and getting one of their homemade cookie sandwiches. Nutter Butter sandwich cookie is my favorite. Blueberry muffins are bomb! Service is always on point! Definitely recommend.

Loved this spot! I had the brisket breakfast tacos and was completely amazed, they were incredible!!! The eggs, potatoes, brisket, and hatch chili salsa all blended together perfectly! I also loved the restaurant itself, the space was wonderful with plenty of comfortable seating. Finally I left with two of the best cookies I think I've ever tasted, a red velvet and a sea salt chocolate chip, unbelievable, these cookies are thick and baked to absolute perfection!!! All in all a wonderful breakfast experience!!!

The kindest people and the best atmosphere. Back patio is like a hidden garden amongst the busyness of Hollywood. Side Note: the water station has delicious truly filtered water.

The food was good but I felt it was overpriced. I ordered a kale cesar salad, avocado toast, and a grapefruit juice and paid $40! The salad: it was on the menu as a "kale Cesar salad with chicken for $13.99. I asked them to remove the chicken. When I got the salad it was kale, walnuts, and quinoa tossed in vinaigrette. Not a Cesar salad at all! The toast: for $13.99 I expected a lot more that literal avocado on toast... my friend ordered a sandwich that had the same bread, avocado, chicken, bacon, and a side salad. Her total was $15.99. How is my avocado toast with only 2 ingredients priced that way?? The juice: nice and fresh. I would eat here for their sandwiches... that's about it.

Pleasantly surprised by the experience. Woke up on the wrong side of the couch and was going nuts from all the noise in the house. I escaped to Bolt and got a really good breakfast burrito with sausage. also got an apple muffin which tasted good with a coffee. Coffee was descent. Flavor was kinda unique. Service was nice. Good people working inside. Calm and relaxed atmosphere. I took a seat outside and caught the sights, sounds and smells of Hollywood. A man walked up to me and asked for $5.... Would recommend for breakfast burrito fans.

I stopped in for coffee, lunch, and WiFi on a recent trip to Thai Town. I was happy to find a queer-owned space to visit during Pride Month. The space was well-populated without being crowded or too loud. The staff were friendly, and my order came out quickly. I enjoyed my iced coffee, and the rosemary chicken sandwich was tasty. The chocolate chip potato chip cookie was delicious. It's thick, more cake-like, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer a crispy cookie.

This is my neighborhood spot! Malcom's cool as hell and brings the neighborhood vibes always. Jone's always bringing some good laughs and overall customer service. I love the backyard area and have journaled many of times there. I'm a big fan of their beyond burgers, the kitchen sometimes undercooks the plant protein so do ask for it CRISP if you don't wanna taste a mushy center and they'll do it. I don't think there's a ton of plant based dishes but there's a lil for all. The eggs Benedict are FIRE. Hot sauce fans: bring your own shit unless you like mild flavors. BBQ fans: bring your own shit as well. Happy hour starts at 3pm and their draft kombucha can get a cute day buzz while sorting through depressive stacks of emails if that's your jam (it's mine obv).

Spacious chill interior with a solid food menu. The breakfast burrito was $10 and absolutely loaded, they also added beans for free. The outdoor patio is gorgeous and the employees will bring it out there for you.

GREAT customer service!! Super cute, plenty of room to sit. I ordered a turkey bacon breakfast burrito, and it was amazing. There was more egg than potato, which I loved. The eggs were nice and fluffy. And there was at least 3 to 4 pieces of turkey bacon in there. The potatoes were cooked to be nice soft and fluffy. I will be back!!

What a great visit start to finish. The guy running the whole place up front is super friendly and great overall. Food was yummy I enjoyed the Benedict and it came out lightning quick. Strong coffee and even a free refill! Great place for a quick bite with lots of seating indoors, out front and they have a back patio too!

Staff is amazing- brisket tacos cannot be beat. Oatmeal iced vanilla latte on point. Slow for a rainy Sunday but still great vibe!

Super nice staff. The breakfast pasta was bomb as well as the blueberry pancakes. Bacon was tasty and not too salty. Nice homey feel to the place even though the ceiling was crazy high. I had a potato chip chocolate chip cookie (I think that's what it was called) as well and it was a little crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. I'm not a fan of crispy cookies so I was happy about the chewiness. The english muffin was ok, I don't think I would get that again but I was overall really pleased with my post-walk breakfast :) Looking forward to coming here again when I'm in SoCal. Also, they sell quality canvas totes.

The coffee is inconsistent. The cookies are out of this world delicious but I have to take away a few stars for the inconsistent coffee. Coffee taste changes a lot with each barista, some are great and some are terrible. I don't think management is tasting them.

Been to Bolt three times recently (staying nearby) and been happy to find a good place within walking distance for coffee + baked items + food. Iced latte is good. Peanut butter cookie was awesome. All baked goods are made in house and all look REALLY good. I hate when a coffee place has bad bakery items. Makes me sad. Had the breakfast plate bacon + eggs + roasted potatoes + toast. Was yummy. Trying a BLT today. Prices are not super expensive either. Vibe and staff are chill. A bunch of booths and a massive table up front to share.

A nice recharging day is even better at Bolt, an East Hollywood local staple for food, friends and friendly service. Had a cold brew and iced coffee late lunch of sorts with some local friends in the neighborhood as well as a special friend I've known for way too long visiting. We all arrived within a few minutes of each other and were able to enjoy great music, ambiance, laughs, eats, clean everything and more on the patio in back, which is beautiful and pretty shady with so much green life, small plants and hints of natural lighting. I typically have only stopped in once or twice in the past for a quick pick me up, so it was nice to take more of it all in. The main entrance is pretty cool with some tables out front for one, two or ever groups and a cool pride flag flying high and proud #SupportSmallandLocal #SupportLGBTQOwned #HappyPrideMonth When you enter there's a register to the right with yum pastries/baked goods, morning or afternoon favs and a display of their wine selection... Yes wine! To the left where a line might start to form, but rarely lingers is cold bottled and canned beverages. Anything from juice and water to kombucha and cbd. You can take your pick of long shared seating, limited bar seating or booths inside or venture beyond. They have menus at the register for your viewing pleasure as well as some well placed QR code ones throughout. For food it's practical breakfast/brunch/lunch stuff, nothing to wild, but all very enjoyable. My avocado toast with chili flakes was a 10/10 not too toasted, abundant amounts of avocado and beautiful flavor. My friends had a bolt bowl, loaded to the max and I considered something additional though some modifications might have been needs as they have loads of vegetarian options, but require some adjustments for their vegan ones. A lot of veggie and even gluten free options (preference) by default. Bolt is more than food being a local coffee shop/cafe... It's about the experience: 80s rock, one hit wonders + 90s slow jams on the sound system, free Wi-fi making it a great work space, excellent customer service from some of the coolest gents and the company you enjoy it with even if that company is yourself. It's neighborhood bliss in EaHo... Street parking surprisingly easy around this block both off E Hollywood Blvd and on residential streets. Definitely hope to bolt back in soon!

The front of house does not pay attention. I was the only person waiting for a to-go order of a burrito. I was told that they were going to call my name. I was sitting down in front of the register for 20 mins thinking that they would call me. Thought maybe the cook was backed up with the orders, but no my burrito was just sitting there in front of house. I was the only one waiting for my food.

First coffee shop I decided to try in the new hood. Chill vibe. Ordered an iced latte and sausage breakfast sandwich. Bread/biscuit on the sandwich was great, but overall sandwich was lacking some flavor. Didn't even taste salt and pepper - felt like a little seasoning or aioli on this would go a long way. Threw some hot sauce on it and it was better, not the best bfast sandwich I've ever had but I swear w some seasoning or aioli it could rival. Latte was good, not best I've ever had but like I'd order again. Overall vibe was chill, lot of people on their laptops, industrial aesthetic, def felt like a chill neighborhood spot. Service wasn't overly friendly or enthusiastic but sometimes that's nice to not be greeted with some hyped up on caffeine cashier before you've had your morning coffee. 4/5. Will def be back to try some more things.

Friendly service right when I walked in the door. The special smoked brisket breakfast tacos with hatch green chili was fantastic and not overfilling. They also had strong dark roast coffee on drip, which was delicious. The vibe is a coffee shop filled with people on laptops and light table chatter. Long wooden community table and small booths throughout to accommodate both longer and shorter bites and sips. I would gladly stop by here again if I'm in the area!

Good Coffee and not crazy overpriced which is a nice change of things considering most coffee places in Hollywood usually are. Nice people behind the counter as as well. Inside was cool looking. There were some outside chairs as well

It's been several days since I went to Bolt, and I am still thinning about how amazing their food/desserts/latte were! Parking: Street parking (metered) on Hollywood Blvd. Employee: There were 2 ladies up front. But the taller lady stole my heart! She was very personable, friendly and helpful. Not afraid of facing her guests and didn't feel fake. She was taking care of all of her guests in the restaurant all by herself. Very instinctive! I never had to ask for anything. She either told me before I needed things or she would given things to me that I needed when I was there: like my to go box. She was the opposite of lazy. She didn't just give me a box, but she gauged what size of box that I needed for the amount of left over that I had. I need you to know that I appreciate this SOOO MUCH! And this is coming from someone who is in the world of F&B my whole 40+ years of life. Kudos! I'll ask her name the next time I see her. Brick + Mortar: Amazing retro design. However, I have some suggestions: 1. to figure out more to cover their storage room on the floor above the dining area. 2. to keep clean their utensils' cans that they place on the tables. In our table's utensil's container, I saw rusts dusts in the can. And they places the clean utensils with the fork + knives side in the can. I figured out the rust-dust because I cleaned my fork with the napkin that were in it, too, and I saw the rust-dust in the napkin. The same apply to the coffee condiment's station. 3. to move the trash bin that is located next to the coffee condiment's station a little further away. Only because currently it is placed right next to 1 of the dining table that unfortunately I had to sit next to. Food: ordered specials on the menu. Meatloaf Sandwich. Amazing combination in this sandwich. Not your usual meatloaf in mind. I'd describe it like: herb-meatloaf breakfast frittata in between well-cook slices of toasted bread. Chilaquiles Perfectly made and not soggy. Sauce tasted tangy and a little spicy combined with a good enough of cheese. Regular Latte. My latte was made perfectly. I've tasted latte from all over the world. This place made it to my top 5 latte to go to. Next time I need to ask them for the kind of coffee beans that they are using. I think that was the key! Red Velvet Cookie Baked throughly in the inside and a little crisp on the outside. Great Levain style cookie for sure! And yes. I'll be back soon!

Bolt is a solid breakfast place in the EaHo area that is worth a stop for a bite or a cup of coffee. During a recent stay with friends, Bolt was within walking distance from our AirBnB so it was the perfect first stop to start our day. This also happened to be during the CicLAvia event in Hollywood so the streets were packed with people. Thankfully, Bolt is a pretty big space with plenty of open seating and even a patio outside for outdoor dining. When we got in, there was someone who was ready to get our coffee orders started while we were deciding on food. I settled on the Bolt Bowl which was great! If you are looking for a low carb option, this is it! Made up of spicy sausage with roasted broccolini and tomatoes topped with two over easy eggs I was definitely satisfied after eating. I also ordered a cold brew coffee which was perfect on a hot day. In terms of service, they were very helpful and quick. I would say parking may be a bit of a challenge, but there is plenty of metered parking in the area. Overall, Bolt is a great place to chill and have breakfast in the EaHO area!

Eating at Bolt EaHo was an amazing experience. We were served by Dax who is engaging, entertaining and very kind and generous. The food (every dish) and every variety of coffee is delicious, not to mention the pastries! The ambiance is lovely, a great modern vibe, outdoor breezes coming through. And they open at 7AM! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

I've wanted to find a local coffee shop I can read at and have breakfast at since I moved to Hollywood. Last month I walked by and decided to stop in and I've been coming every week since. Bolt is located on Hollywood Blvd and has plenty of tables and booths to work and hang out in. They also have a cute back patio with a plant canopy for those who want a taste of nature in the city. On Saturday you can be sure to have some great music playing (don't worry not at a super loud level) and maybe even a dog or two out front. It has a cozy casual vibe with the energy of a place that's here for locals and the lucky tourists who find it. Now to the food since that's what's really important. I get a breakfast sandwich on their english muffin with bacon. Fucking phenomenal. The best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. First off the English muffin is made IN HOUSE. so if that doesn't make you order it I don't know what will. Second the egg is perfectly cooked with the yolk and bit runny. The bacon is thick and crispy and they use sharp white cheddar to pull it all in. It's so balanced and makes me say "oh yum" every time. It's also pipping hot which I don't usually find in breakfast sandwiches what are made to order. I've also tried it with turkey bacon and it's just as good. If you're in the mood for a little treat you can't go wrong with their cookies or scones. I love the chocolate chip cookie or the oatmeal cookie. They also do cream pies which are the perfect dessert. Lastly the coffee is excellent and my iced or hot vanilla latte never fails. Some fun extras is they have compostable straws(not paper), bathroom, free water, WiFi, a beverage fridge with fun bevvys, and the staff is really stellar. Makes me feel at home every time I come. If you're in the mood to start your day off right, definitely come by Bolt. 10/5 stars.

Can't say enough about how much our family loves bolt. It's our little neighborhood spot where they cook everything from scratch and the service is excellent! We usually go for breakfast when all the baked goods (made on site) are fresh and delicious. We had the chilaquiles, corn beef hash and the brisket tacos. Everything was excellent! They are so accommodating to the kids too. I love supporting these guys.

Honestly shouldn't have come back. I've had issues with this place putting meat in my veggie burrito multiple times. I'm vegetarian. Today, Christmas Day, I placed an order for pickup on ubereats. I even called in before to make sure they were open. When I got there, they said the kitchen had been closed and that they weren't going to make my order. The employee also wasn't able to cancel it as his manager wasn't there. Frustrating service

Was really looking forward to trying this place after going through all the promising reviews. I got the breakfast burrito which was good, but a bit too simple for all the hype it was getting imo. Just needs a little pizzazz! I also asked for a vanilla latte and I'm not sure if the guy just didn't hear me but it was very bitter and just no bueno. I thought the seating area outside was cute and felt like a little bit of an escape from the city.

The hood isn't the prettiest but this is a very cool coffee house in many ways. First the menu is very nice and dares to be different in a very good way. We just ran in for some coffee and snacks to go but all of the good looked terrific. Breakfast sandwich, breakfast taco (!), breakfast burrito, chilaquiles, baked goods, etc. We did try the avocado toast which was terrific. The bread was delicious and it came with a HUGE chunk of fresh avocado on it, with red pepper flakes on top. It was great. We also tried a cheddar biscuit and it was fresh and flavorful. No complaints on the iced coffee drinks. The interior decor is super cool. Someone put some serious thought and effort into this place from the tables to the barstools. They also have an absolutely charming patio out back. Metered street parking. Watch those signs so you don't get a ticket.

It's not the place it advertises to be food wise. Your going spend a good amount of money on a very small amount of food. Not much flavor on anything. The latte I ordered tasted like extremely burnt coffee. The building itself is nice but that's about it for me. Other options in the neighborhood that will give you a bang for your buck. Probably will never come back....

Nice cafe with outdoor garden seating. Staff is very friendly too!! Definitely a great place to grab a quick bite or meet up with a few people.

Samiches are the bomb here, they do not skimp on any ingredients, have had the pleasure to eat most of their menu items, with my personal favorite which is the Chicken Salad sammi. Staff if always courteous and friendly. They take orders over the phone and have your meal ready in little to no time. Another solid spot on Hollywood Blvd. No booze here, but it's all about the food and coffee. Well done y'all!

Solid place with great staff. The benedict, coffee, and booch were good for the price. Ambiance was rustic utilitarian and not over done. Dining area was spacious with large tables and several booths. I appreciated the simple and unpretentious vibe. Worth 5 stars and would go again.

Best food and great atmosphere but it's really the people who work here that's the most remarkable part- especially Jared!

Cold Brew: 5 stars great cold brew coffee. What more can I say? Service is 5 stars, and I felt a very warm and welcoming vibe before I even stepped foot in this place. The folks at Bolt sell more than just coffee. Breakfast, wine and pastries are also available for those who like. I would come back for the coffee alone, but I am intrigued to try some of their food items as well. Perhaps I'll bring my laptop one morning and treat myself to some breakfast and cold brew on their private patio out back.

We were staying nearby Bolt and were extremely lucky to find this place for breakfast. What a fantastic place. It is very casual. You place your order at the door and then grab a table. Make sure to check out the baked goods. There is a wide selection. I just had tea, but the people I was with had coffee and really liked it. For food, I started with the EAHO breakfast (three eggs--which I had over easy, sausage patty, hashbrowns, and toast. It was outstanding. I loved the potatoes and the sourdough toast. My partner had the avocado toast and loved that also. Fortunately, I saved room for a chocolate cookie to eat later. This was really good also. Next time in LA, I will go out of my way to eat here, really great.

This is in my hood. I've passed it many times and today decided to do some work from there for a bit. I had a drip coffee and a banana chocolate chip muffin. Both were pretty good. The gentleman and lady working front of house are very nice. I like that it's a quiet place (there is music but it's very low). Definitely great if you need to concentrate. I'm knocking off a star because the wifi kept going in and out. If they can get that together it's definitely 5 stars.

Been coming to Bolt for coffee and breakfast the better part of a couple weeks now and really enjoy it. It's a beautiful space w high ceilings and the ability to feel safe inside as folks are pretty spread out. There is a beautiful outdoor garden I plan on using more after the cold and rains abate... To start, I'm fussy about coffee and Bolt's is a good one, medium brewed and always piping hot, which I really appreciate. At $3 for a large, it's fair and always does the job. The food here is both familiar and rather curated simultaneously. They do splendid Mexican staples with a generous brisket breakfast taco made with their homemade hatch chilis salsa hot sauce. I like this better than the breakfast burrito I had which, while fine, felt rather poorly assembled. Also, LA's very best is just down the road at Cafe Los Feliz, so there is always that memory nipping at the neocortex when I try breakfast burritos... I recently had two of the better dishes here: the "Bolt Bowl," and the avocado toast. Loved the bowl, a low carb creation of sautéed veggies (broccolini, onions, grape tomatoes etc), two types of ground Italian sausage - spicy and sweet - with a nice duvet covering of a pair of perfectly over easy eggs-- Yummm! I hit it w pepper and Cholula Hot Sauce and it's excellent. Would be even better with red or green Tabasco but they don't carry those despite my daily grumbling for them. The avocado toast is excellent here too, well assembled on toasted sourdough bread, sprinkled over with quality salt, chili flakes, and a touch of olive oil. For an extra couple bucks I added on the over easy egg which really added something. That all said, it's avo toast w egg and at $16 before tax and tip? It's overpriced. Should be the same cost as their venerable breakfast sandwich, a play on the egg McMuffin with what one must assume are healthier ingredients at $10.65. As good as the coffee and grub are (and don't let my advice to Bolt here dissuade you off the otherwise high recommendation!), I can honestly say Bolt's staff may be the main reason to come by here. Either they hire only the coolest and happiest of players for behind the register and counter, or I want whomever trains them all to guest-educate at every coffee shop in LA-- this is a fun group of good looking and smart young people. I've gotten to know one a little - Joy - a comedian I'm betting is great just off our interactions. Winding this down with recommendation for the house made cookies. They make some truly incredible cookies. I like the sea salt covered chocolate chip and the chocolate with peanut butter center but I friggin' dream about their almond cookie with a dollop of jelly in the center: it's not that cloying marzipan biscuit you might be conjuring up in your head but rather a crumbly revelation made of almond flour, I suspect. Seriously, dreamt about it already... As this is a "review" I'll offer one real bit of advice that I feel would help Bolt out: They have the most lovely outdoor garden space. Covid safe and beautiful, like a gem culled from similar coffee houses in Brooklyn and elsewhere. They should let it be QUIET. Free of music, which can be as alienating to as many customers as it is enjoyable for others. The inside plays the same music as outdoors for the majority of patrons but I would love the beautiful silence out there to read and write and work. I know others would too... Oh, and get a "slow-door-closer" to silence that back door from slamming all day long. It's soooo disruptive to everyone working inside! So get to Bolt. It's a wonderful EaHo coffee shop that brings up the 'hood some. *** PS if you are blessed by your higher power, you may get the rare sighting of the pet rat, "Ratsputin," a healthy boy that flashes about in the rafters on occasion. I love seeing him so be kind and don't scare him off.

Came for brunch and coffee. The breakfast burritos were decent but quite bland and too cheesy in my opinion. The amount of cheese had my lactose intolerant girlfriend fearing for her life. Coffee was good. Best thing about the place was how fast the food came out.

Came to Bolt for a quick breakfast bite. Wasn't to hard to find parking, parked behind the business in the residential area. When walking in your greeted with a nice atmosphere, loved the industrial look here. You have options of indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend the back patio as it's pretty nice and relaxing back there. Now to the food. We ordered the breakfast sandwich with their homemade English muffin and the breakfast burrito. The breakfast sandwich was good it had nice flavor but the bacon was not crispy like I usually would go for. The sandwich also came out pipping hot, probably the hottest temp wise I've had but better than getting it cold. The breakfast burrito was nice however fell apart pretty easy, nice spicy flavor. Overall food was good, I would try some of the other items when we come back. The wait was a tad long to get the food (25 to 30 mins) after we ordered, we weren't in a hurry. Just a heads up if you are in a rush. They also have hard kombucha in the fridge up front which is a cool addition if you were craving one.

Apparently I chose wisely, the Breakfast Sandwich with Sausage was quite delicious, but I learned coming here after 2pm only leads to disappointment if you want eggs benedict, pancakes, or most other breakfast items. Foreshadowing, my homies mostly chose unwisely, lol. We probably should have come before noon but oh well, I had over an hour drive, on a Sunday, so there's that. Parked on a side street behind the restaurant and boom, there we were, four of us altogether, Bolt first-timers. I needed more coffee and when I got a glimpse of the house-made Nutter Butter I had to get one. The approving nod of the guy taking the orders was reassuring. It's a rich concoction of fresh peanut butter cookies and creamy, doctored peanut butter filling. Pretty rich and filling by itself. Online I liked the looks of the eggs benedict but they were out for the day, which forced me to select a Breakfast Sammie on a house-made English Muffin. Chose sausage and a drip pour coffee. The gf chose Corned Beef Hash, not her original plan, Dora H. went with the Breakfast Pasta and Arthur decided on the daily special: Chiquillas. Coffee is good, fruity medium roast style and the latte was well made too. We all loved the setting inside. The food came up and while the Chiquillas looked impressive, Arthur soon discovered that the chips were very stale. He's a picky eater but that's a decisive criticism. Dora liked her pasta dish, so 50-50 for them. The gf's Corned Beef was on the dry side, I sampled a bit. Her eggs were cooked perfectly to order, but the Brussel Sprouts were a bit bland. Conversely, I thoroughly enjoyed the English Muffin, very fresh and perfect for the melted cheese and sausage. Put some Chulula hotsauce on there and voila! It was very hot so I proceeded with caution. Verdict: the 50-50 ratio of success to disappointment doesn't bode well for another visit. While other tables' food, especially sandwiches, looked pretty good from a distance, I doubt that we venture here as a destination again. If I lived close by I'd probably get periodic breakfast or lunch sandwiches. Overall, 3.55/5, enough to round up to 4-stars, but just barely.

On the outskirts of Thai town, and south of Franklin Blvd. You'll see a little street sprinkled with small eateries and store fronts. Amongst them you will find Bolt. It's a handsome building, with beautiful marquee letters that display the cafes name. The interior is just as nice. The rustic industrial feel, with tall ceilings gives it a wide open space feel. Loved the interior design and appreciated the cute little outdoor patio in the back. They had a variety of breakfast foods and lunch options on their menu. I ordered the breakfast pasta, and my husband ordered the chilaquiles. Both looked promising and we were very excited to try the food. My breakfast pasta was pretty good. Reminded me of an omelette with bits of pasta mixed in. The bits of bacon and sausage were delicious. Though it didn't look it, it was actually quite filling. The chilaquiles (which were on the special menu) on the other hand were absolutely horrible. Not at all what a chilaquiles is supposed to be. Horrible chips that rivaled those from a gas station. It lacked the beans, the flavor, and everything about it tasted like it came out of a can. Seems the dishes here are a bit of a gamble, so pick wisely. It's a beautiful place to spread out, study or meet up for some pastries or coffee. But not quite sure the food is up to par just yet.

This place is AWESOME!!!!! I had an egg benedict and it was the best egg benedict that i have ever had! Was creamy inside and seasoned perfectly. The staffs were very friendly so that we could enjoy our brunch very much. We love them and definitely come back! Highly recommended!

Great breakfast items and friendly service! I now live closer to them and can't wait to stop by!

This is Hubbys favorite breakfast spot he loves the Bolt Benedict it's cooked perfectly and the potatoes that come with it is full of flavor I ordered the Bolt breakfast burrito I had it with salsa it was really good and filing. We had the food to go I'm sure it would be even tastier if we dined in. The lemonade was thirsty quenching I recommend getting that while you wait for your food to arrive. The ambiance is nice there's a lot of room to sit indoors and a couple of tables outside.

This is one of my fav coffee shops around the hood. Employees are nice and friendly. Coffees are not the best but okay. They have great cookies and rosemary chicken sandwiches are so good. But some of the item prices are so high. I paid almost $14 for a 2 piece of avocado toast. I'm not expecting to be $5 but $14 is wild for an avocado toast. Inside of the place is mellow and music is not too loud. Back padio is super cute but employees are not good at keeping it clean. Tables are full of dust for most of the time. Because there are some trees etc. Owner and managers should be aware they have to make sure tables and chairs are clean enough to sit.

After a night out with a massive hangover I rolled over in my bed and all I could think was breakfast burrito.. I was looking through Yelp and found Bolt.. the pictures sold me. Upon arrival I was thoroughly impressed with the vibe. It felt very downtown Seattle warehouse. If that makes sense. It kinda felt like a garage turned coffee shop. I was into it. I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage. I am now writing this holding my second breakfast burrito. This time I added brisket. (Yes you should try it) The pastries look amazing and I honestly haven't had the coffee yet but I have no doubt it's just as good. BUT If you're looking for a smack as* hangover curing breakfast burrito. Look no further. I'd definitely come sit and work on my computer here too one day. Like I said. The vibe is just right. Also a decent amount of seating, WiFi and outlets. Thank you for being here. 10/10

I go there for there breakfast burritos but there pastries are a great guilty pleasure. I also like the service. Helpful it no overbearing. Great spot.

Friends and I came to Bolt after our hike to the Hollywood sign nearby. I ordered the Chai latte (it's a Chai teabag with milk of your choice) and a turkey bacon Breakfast Burrito. My order was 3 stars but service was 5, making my experience an overall 4. Street, metered parking available.

Love this place, good food, coffee and pastries! Super nice woman in the front taking orders. They rushed our order becasue I had somewhere to be at 7:45 and the kitchen opened at 7:30

OMG I'm so behind on my coffee reviews. But not to worry. I very distinctly remember Bolt Coffee coz this was the first in store purchase I made this year, after almost a year of eating my own cooking and drinking my own brews. Is it any wonder I'm giving this place 5 stars? It tasted awesome! Of course I'll need to revisit this place later to see if it's as good as I remembered but I'm pretty confident saying this place has good coffee and food. I mean. That bacon cheese Biscuit is fluffy but doesn't crumble. That shows freshness right there. The OJ is Fresh squeezed. The Iced tea was brewed first. So good. Ordered their Hot Latte and it was awesome! Ordered their Cortado and it was even better! Their Avocado Toast was kinda pricey but there were two of them and they weren't stingy with the avocado. Those chili flakes were no joke, but they will ask you before they make them if you'd like to have them on your toast - or not. The avocados were well seasoned and was not bland at all.

I stopped in while having a car washed. I am so thrilled that I did. The vanilla latte I ordered was perfectly made. The roast they use is a nice chocolatey blend. They also have half orders of the avocado toast! This was perfect for me as I would not have been able to eat a full order and didn't want to take food to go. Everything was delicious and the wait time was very low. The staff is super friendly and even take time to chat a bit. They also have Wi-Fi! So, if you're in the neighborhood, this is a place to definitely visit.

The place is lovely, Little disorganised. Welcomed with greeting. This is my first time to this place. I ordered the flat white and a regular latte. And they both were great great quality of the product. And great costumer service. I do recommend this cafe .
