Where to Eat Indo Chinese Food in London | Eater London

"On the stretch of King’s Street between Hammersmith and Stamford Brook strangely blessed with good restaurants, Bombay Chow sets itself apart with two key distinguishers. One, the specials board, on which it’s sometimes possible to find a platonic ideal of salt and pepper lamb, as well as all the alternative colas — Thumbs Up, Double Seven — which flooded the market when Coca Cola withdrew from India in 1977. The other draw is the sizzler section, vivid with nostalgia, the menu promising “an old steam engine, sizzling and steaming and spluttering to a halt in front of you.” Order the triple Szechuan, a vast mound of fried rice, crispy noodles, sauce, gravy and a necessarily unnecessary fried egg." - Jonathan Nunn

London’s Best Noodle Dishes | Where to Eat Noodles in London | Eater London

"Hakka noodles, Hong Kong noodles, Szechuan noodles — Desi-Chinese food has a great noodle tradition that can be sampled at pretty much any Indian restaurant from Harrow to Hounslow. One of the best can be found on Bombay Chow’s sizzler section, vivid with nostalgia, the menu promising “an old steam engine, sizzling and steaming and spluttering to a halt in front of you.” Order the triple Szechuan, a vast mound of fried rice, crispy noodles, sauce, gravy and a necessarily unnecessary fried egg." - Jonathan Nunn

We just hosted a client dinner at Bombay Chow and were very impressed by the overall experience. Our main server, Rishabh, was excellent. Very attentive, super polite and knowledgeable about the dishes as we had several guests with dietary restrictions. The food was delicious, plentiful and bought out hot and stayed hot during service. A great venue to host a seminar and dinner, within a beautiful golf course. Almost forget you are in London!

We recently hosted my father’s 90th birthday at Bombay Chow in Northwood, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team were cooperative from developing a thoughtful, bespoke menu to accommodating our requests with genuine care. They helped us create a truly sensational evening. A special thank you to manager Manish, Rodrigo, and the entire cheffing team, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was a standout highlight. Highly recommended.

Our first time at Bombay Chow. Dropped in for a quick lunch. This restaurant is attached to the Haste Hill Golf Club in Northwood which is in a nice neighbourhood. We decided to go full Indochine… our order: a bottle of Cobra beer, a Chicken lollipop, a Bombay Chilli Chicken, a Szechuan fried rice & a chilli garlic naan. All the dishes were pretty good and we were pleasantly surprised. Customer service was very good too. The total bill for 2 was about £46. Highly recommended.

Bombay Chow catered our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with their level of service. When we tried to contact other caterers they wouldn’t get back to us, would forget who we were or would quote a starting rate which was way out of our budget. Communication with Bombay Chow has been extremely professional and timely from the start. They made the effort to view our venue before recommending which dishes they could prepare to a high standard for us. We had some vegetarian guests and some guests with a love for high quality meat dishes. The team met these needs perfectly and everyone at our event thought the food was delicious! The catering team takes pride in their work, clearing away any plates or cups so that none of our guests lifted a finger. We ordered Chai for our self service drinks table thinking 2 servings each for our guests was enough but it seems that the team gave us extra as it didn’t run out all day! They were also kind enough to bring lots of delicious Indian dessert free of charge which we all loved. In total we spent under the UK average for wedding caterers and Bombay Chow was worth every penny. Highly recommend!

An interesting experience. Had no idea this was here! We were a large party and they catered to our requirements fairly well especially the waitress that was supporting our table. Some of the starters were definitely standouts for our vegetarian friendly group. My personal favourites were the crispy spinach chat, the Kolkata chilli paneer, the paneer tikka. The best thing is that nothing had copious amounts of sugar which is often the experience we get with many Indian restaurants within North West London. Enjoyed the saffron rice and the coconut methi corn. It was really well balanced in flavour. Overall the whole experience here was far better than the West end Fat Pundit.

Organised a social at Bombay chow, haste hill golf club for 50 school dads yesterday. Vally and his team looked after us serving up an amazing set menu buffet of starters, mains and dessert. The bar was fully stocked and everyone had a great time. Thank you Bombay Chow for really looking after us and making the night flow so smoothly!

Hosted 70th birthday party at Bombay Chow and it was the perfect venue for adults and children! The service was amazing, especially from our waiter Ashik, he was attentive, friendly and very helpful. Thank you to Manish for helping us organise a successful day time party. The food was delicious and all our guests raved on about the dishes from starters to mains! 10/10 🌟

Wow.. what delicious Indian food in a beautiful location. Pan Asian food was amazing.. the fried okra, veg manchurian was to die for. We ended up repeating the starters. They even made us a drink that was not on the menu (fresh lime sweet soda). The service was excellent and Nidhi was very polite.. A+++ as usual and highly recommended from us. Worth a visit if not two :)
