Where to Eat Indo Chinese Food in London | Eater London

"On the stretch of King’s Street between Hammersmith and Stamford Brook strangely blessed with good restaurants, Bombay Chow sets itself apart with two key distinguishers. One, the specials board, on which it’s sometimes possible to find a platonic ideal of salt and pepper lamb, as well as all the alternative colas — Thumbs Up, Double Seven — which flooded the market when Coca Cola withdrew from India in 1977. The other draw is the sizzler section, vivid with nostalgia, the menu promising “an old steam engine, sizzling and steaming and spluttering to a halt in front of you.” Order the triple Szechuan, a vast mound of fried rice, crispy noodles, sauce, gravy and a necessarily unnecessary fried egg." - Jonathan Nunn

London’s Best Noodle Dishes | Where to Eat Noodles in London | Eater London

"Hakka noodles, Hong Kong noodles, Szechuan noodles — Desi-Chinese food has a great noodle tradition that can be sampled at pretty much any Indian restaurant from Harrow to Hounslow. One of the best can be found on Bombay Chow’s sizzler section, vivid with nostalgia, the menu promising “an old steam engine, sizzling and steaming and spluttering to a halt in front of you.” Order the triple Szechuan, a vast mound of fried rice, crispy noodles, sauce, gravy and a necessarily unnecessary fried egg." - Jonathan Nunn

Our first time at Bombay Chow. Dropped in for a quick lunch. This restaurant is attached to the Haste Hill Golf Club in Northwood which is in a nice neighbourhood. We decided to go full Indochine… our order: a bottle of Cobra beer, a Chicken lollipop, a Bombay Chilli Chicken, a Szechuan fried rice & a chilli garlic naan. All the dishes were pretty good and we were pleasantly surprised. Customer service was very good too. The total bill for 2 was about £46. Highly recommended.

Located in the clubhouse of a golf course at Hayes Hill. Nice on a summer evening to be able to sit outside overlooking the golf course. Extensive menu and the lab chops were the best 👍🏾

The Gymkhana vibe & setting of the restaurant is so contemporary and elegant 😀 so beautiful 🤩 real ambience of vintage gymkhana vibe or old British colonial era. Furniture and cutlery gives posh experience. This place has very hidden from since while as we have never came across on Google or somebody mentioning. But they were really busy on Friday night. So we have tried couple of starters, spinach chat we found tasty but very sweet. It needed some green'spicy chutney & bit of onion. They we did, Kolkata chilli paneer which was really tasty 😋 paneer was soft and overall dish was medium spicy which was nice. And we had Corn malai methi curry which was delicious but more on a sweeter side & daal bukhara was original as well. I'm very sure that chef can alter apice levels according to your needs. On top we appreciate service by Dimpal & another tall guy with glasses. 👍 Overall it was a decent good food with great vibe experience. Will definitely go back again to try more dishes. Cheers. Hopefully this place becomes over new local. Lol Try it. Review it. Thank you.

We had our year 6 leavers party at Bombay chow and it was a hit! All thanks to Vally and his team. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed every single bite. Service was top notch they were helpful, fast and kind and as we had many kids with us staff was very polite to the kids as well which was very nice too see. Atmosphere was lovely. Vally helped me from start to the end from deciding the menu till the end. I am extremely grateful and would highly recommend Bombay chow restaurant, Vally and his team. I will be recommending it to my family and friends and will be back for my younger son’s leavers party as well. Kind regards, Ali & Nadia

The Veg Starters here are exceptional and you can't go wrong with their food! 😋 I booked the party room for an evening dinner and everyone enjoyed the night, especially the lush views of the golf course which looks stunning in the summer! ⛳️ I love their seating area outside and it's such a pleasant experience and there's no other place like Bombay Chow! 🍽

I had high hopes, judging from the reviews - I was soon left deflated. In short - Nice service, tasteless food. Outrageously overpriced. We had a selection of starters and a main course each. All the dishes were mediocre at best. Shan't be visiting again.

We had a wonderful casual dinner at Bombay Chow Northwood tonight and were thoroughly impressed! The vibe of the restaurant was absolutely amazing – it created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The food was a real highlight. Their biryani and salan were exceptional; truly flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the chicken manchurian, which was very good. What truly stood out was our server for tonight- Bidhiya , she was very friendly and attentive. She paid great attention to detail and was especially thoughtful in taking care of our kids' needs, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience with delicious Indian food, a fantastic ambiance, and top-notch service. We'll definitely be returning!
