"When you’re the James Bond of the office world rushing to audit some spreadsheets like the fate of the world depends on it, use your precious window of time for the fast-casual Indian food at Bombay Wraps. This counter-service spot specializes in paratha and roti wraps with fillings like tangy chicken tikka, spiced potatoes and cauliflower, or savory pieces of curried lamb. You can also get all of these in a rice bowl for something a little more substantial. Despite being a fairly small space, they actually have decent seating, but the fast service guarantees that you can quickly return to the office to complete your onslaught of tasks before the clock strikes five." - adrian kane, john ringor, veda kilaru

Spent 15$ on two wraps. One wrap was Potato Cauliflower with spicy mint & coriander chutney. It was awesome. Other wrap was Lamb curry wrap which was bad. It smelled like goat on the first bite, I couldn't finish it. I am a lamb lover and I don't smell goat in kebabs or curry. I wasted money on the Lamb wrap.

This is more of a Mexican than an Indian restaurant. The people running the place are peculiarly rude. The samosas are tasty though.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bombay Eats in downtown Chicago, and I must say, it was a delightful experience that exceeded my expectations. As someone who doesn't frequent downtown often, I am truly glad I made the decision to visit this hidden gem. First and foremost, let's talk about the food. The flavors at Bombay Eats were simply outstanding. Each dish was prepared with utmost care, resulting in a culinary journey that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The food was not only hot and fresh but also wonderfully seasoned, showcasing the skill and mastery of the chefs. The flavors were robust, authentic, and truly satisfied my cravings for Indian cuisine. Whether you're a fan of mild or spicy, Bombay Eats offers a range of options to cater to various palates. What impressed me even more was the fast-casual concept, similar to Chipotle. This setup is a definite plus if you find yourself short on time but still want to enjoy a delicious meal. The efficient and streamlined process ensures that you can savor your meal without any unnecessary delays. It's a great option for those seeking a quick yet satisfying dining experience. I must commend the staff at Bombay Eats for their quick service and friendly demeanor. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The attentive staff members were more than happy to assist with any inquiries and made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Their friendliness added an extra touch of comfort, making me feel welcomed and appreciated as a guest. Overall, Bombay Eats has won me over as a loyal customer. If I find myself in the city again, I won't hesitate to return and relish in their delectable offerings. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine, fantastic flavors, efficient service, and a memorable dining experience.

I liked the restaurant, it is clean and the staff are nice. But, the portion of everything was soo small. I had 3 pieces samoosas and one protein bowl but I didn’t get full (I am 120lb person) 😕 you may only concern about the size of portions other than that you can order what you like.

Stopped by to get some lunch. Took the Chicken Tikka and Lamb Curry warps with a Lentil Dal soup. The Chicken Tikka was great, the Lamb Curry was just okay but because of it being so wet half of my warp was soggy and uneatable before I got to the office. The lentil soup was nice but a bit too spicy. Service was okay.

Google
I love the flavors on the menu. Everything is very good. It’s a fast food take on Indian food. I always get the samosas and a wrap. I’ve tried a few different wrap flavors and they are all good. I like that the portion is manageable and priced appropriately. This is a go to spot for me.

Google
Wraps were really cheap like about six bucks, good for a quick bite, especially if you work downtown. Staff was friendly and overall it was clean, but also a heads up it does get busy at lunch.

Google
Perhaps the first in Chicago area, fast and casual Indian restaurant that hits all the right notes through a limited but satisfying menu, whether you are looking to snack on something Indianish or wish a filling meal. Freshly prepared before you, the menu items are custom created to order. The staff is knowledgeable and ready to help make a decision. This has become my go to place when I am in a hurry.

Yelp
Fantastic food for a very reasonable price. Got 3 of the wraps, a different flavor for each, because I wasn't sure of how big they were. I think 2 would probably have been enough, but it was great to get to try more of their flavors. The dough on the wraps was flaky and delicious, the meat was tender, and the chutney (+ different other topping options) made it for a full, tasty meal. Will definitely be going back- whether it's for 1 wrap as a quick snack or for a full meal.

Jpb T.

Yelp
They participate in the TooGoodtogo app. The food was fresh fast casual. There are plenty of meat and meatless options. For around $10 you can fill up here.

Marin C.

Yelp
Food was legit. Parantha wrap with chicken Tikka, yum! Messy paneer sweet potato fries, same. And, mango lassi-, nom noms. Oh, and samosas. Indian food worth eating is rare in my town, so I appreciate it when I travel. Ordering process- needed more structure, the employees were working on a huge catering order and ignored me until that was done. Understandable, but also sorta frustrating and annoying. It was worth the wait and the person running the registers was extremely kind and made up for the less than kind food assembler.

Yelp
Amazing quick eats that will hit your craving of spicy, savory food! I love so many things about Bombay Wraps - it was really quick service, the food (especially the paratha) was fresh, the ambiance is casual but clean, and they had 6 different sauces to add on top. I also have never had pistachio lassi before and it was D E L I C I O U S. It was rich, flavorful and not overly sweet! I ended up trying the chicken tikka and chicken reshmi wrap - I preferred the chicken tikka one because it had more flavor but the reshmi is also delicious for someone who wants a more subtle flavor. The food is very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. One thing that I wish was different was I wish I could put more toppings in my wrap instead of just the cabbage. Regardless, I def will be coming back to Bombay Wraps and will recommend it to anyone who wants a quick delicious lunch!

Jason W.

Yelp
A true gem for loop lunches! At least once a week I have to stop by and grab a Chicken Tikka wrap. The soft, flaky wrap comes with grilled chicken, marinated onions, rich tikka sauce, green hot sauce (I recommend upgrading to the spicier red hot sauce), and some cucumbers/tomatoes if you want them. Not only is the food delicious, it's surprisingly cheap as I can get pretty full on one wrap (I have a smaller appetite than most probably though). My favorite thing is that they sell bottles of all of their sauces for you to take home. I highly recommend the tikka and both hot sauces if you want some Indian flavor at home.

Matt S.

Yelp
I Grubhubbed this. I got the Lamb Curry Roll (spicy chutney) and Samosas + chutney. This was really good. The Lamb Curry Roll was delicious. It was very flavorful and a good portion. The Samosas were also really tasty. I'll order this again.

Valentina A.

Yelp
Food portion was perfect, taste was delicious, and I'd definitely recommend to someone looking for something fast but not "fast food" like. :)

Nicole C.

Yelp
Was around the area and wanted something cheap. I got the chicken tikka wrap. Think of a chicken taco. I got it spicy and it was good. Got samosas too. It was tiny and tbh overpriced. If you want something spicy and decently priced, go here for the wraps. For downtown prices, this was definitely cheaper than other options near by. I grub-hubbed for pick up so im not sure if they're quick.

Rupali K.

Yelp
I had samosa wrap and chickpea wrap. Both of them were really good. Tried their pistachio Lassi, which is good too. Service was fast, would highly recommend them. I was stuffed by 2 wrap. My friend was stuffed with just one wrap.

Eric L.

Yelp
Ordered a Chicken Tikka Wrap with flaky paratha, spicy, with extra spicy cilantro chutney. Had it delivered via uberEats. The delivery was very fast- under 20 min. Was not initially thrilled, as the wrap breading had a tear in it right when I opened it. Kind of feels like a slap in the face that someone obviously made this for me in a torn wrapper. Did not look too appetizing either. However, it did taste very good. Very fragrant and flavorful spices and chicken was cooked perfectly and not dry. Enough pros that I would order from here again.

Meredith A.

Yelp
Ordered this through their website for a company-wide lunch. They arrived on time, the food was fresh and everyone loved it. Many in our office didn't know about this restaurant and have said they are excited to visit it again. The service was great and the process for a bulk order was very easy and efficient. I will order again sometime.

Emily B.

Yelp
food came out so fast!! and it tasted fresh & delicious. flavoring of everything was so good and yummy. service was good!

Margot R.

Yelp
Great Indian takeout. I really like the chicken tikka bowl and samosas. Wraps are small so worth paying for extra protein. Service really quick.

Asad R.

Yelp
This place was pretty good! We got the chicken reshmi and beef kabob wraps. Both were tasty! I was worried they were gonna be too small when I got the bag but they weren't a bad size especially for the price. I think of them like medium sized tacos, with a paratha instead of tortilla wrap. The yogurt sauce was especially tasty and provided a great flavor. I would definitely come here again!

Joanna T.

Yelp
I've found my new spot to grab food near the Merchandise Mart. Bombay wraps is just a few blocks south and miles better than most nearby options. I had a rice bowl with Chana Masala (about $8) and a Paratha ($1.29) - for about $10 my lunch was very filling. I ordered "spicy" and received a nice slathering of hot green chutney - overall the flavors were really good for a counter service "fast food" place. It was spicy indeed and there was a lot of actual spice flavor in my chickpeas. The paratha was a little hard but flaky and a good companion for my delicious curry. The place was plenty clean and the people working were nice. BW reminds me of my favorite fast Pakistani place at home so I'll definitely be back next time I'm nearby.

Yelp
The lamb sandwich was AMAZING! after finishing the sandwich I already had plans on buying it again. And the sweet potato fries and homemade ketchup was the perfect addition. if you are skeptical just give it a try! There is no way you will be disappointed. 10/10

Demetra G.

Yelp
love love love Bombay Eats! The food is always delicious and the delivery excellent-both in accuracy and timeliness . one time I selected carry out instead of delivery so I had a forced lunch break, which was great. I hadn't been to the actual location. the staff were so wonderful and accommodating. The restaurant was casual and very clean. Great for a quick lunch. I would love to go in person more often. anyway try it already-you will be happy you did.

Prabodh R.

Yelp
I was here on a business trip. looking at Yelp reviews, decided to give them a shot. Place was 5 minute away on feet. Taste is ok, nothing exceptional. Roti used for the wrap got super soggy by the time I reached office. Sweet masala fries is a bit of a confusion in terms of taste and texture. Samosa lacked flavors. The owner has some attitude. Her tone and body language are just weird. The staff is either new and/or not properly trained. Even if the food had been extraordinary, I wouldn't go there again.

Andrew B.

Yelp
A great place to pick up a quick lunch. My go-to is the messy samosas. A lot of flavor without it being a ton of food. Also, don't sleep on the lassi options.

Hiroshi A.

Yelp
On point! Good casual dining concept with good food. The bowls were good and the wrap looked delicious. Very pleased!

Aleyssa R.

Yelp
Food was pretty good. Had good spice and flavor complexity. 8/10: Chicken Tikka 9.5/10: Lamb 6/10: Rice, tasted liked packaged rice 7/10: Salad was great but wasn't cohesive 7/10: Samosas, not amazing but kinda good. Comes with 3 small pcs 8/10: Samosa sauces, good, but could do without the sweet one 9/10 Sweet potato fries, standard, nothing exceptional $ wise we spent $46 on a chicken tikka bowl, lamb bowl, samosas, sweet potato fries, mango lassi, and water. Not bad, my mother and I found it filling, but would not recommend if you are looking for big portions.

Shivani T.

Yelp
Samosas were a hit in our office party and got over within few mins. Should have ordered more. Indians , Americans everyone liked it...the spice level was perfect .... neither bland nor too spicy. Go to place for next get together as well.

Avery T.

Yelp
I got the Chana Wrap and it was so good! The tikka masala and spicy dip was a nice addition to the wrap.

Jenine I.

Yelp
Great place to grab lunch when you have a taste for Indian, but want something quick and under $10. I ordered the mango lassi and the lamb curry wrap. The employees warned me that the lamb was "spicy", but it ended up being pretty mild (in my opinion). The lamb curry was tender and had good flavor. The paratha was warm and flaky. The mango lassi was refreshing. I like that you could customize your order and they assemble your food in front of you.

Cassie C.

Yelp
Came here just to say that I ordered on the app which was an easy experience, went to pick up the order and a very friendly gentleman was working alone and doing a fantastic job!! I would like to owners to know how professional, polite, and quick he was! This is for the Wells street location. The food was also good and will be going back in the near future for a delicious and affordable lunch. Thank you!

Ayush V.

Yelp
Service is quick and the food is DELICIOUS. There will never be an inappropriate time to get Bombay wraps. I buy multiple items every time I go just to have some for later. So flavorful.

Roohi A.

Yelp
Soo good! Fresh food. Hit the spot when I wasn't feeling well. I got the beef kabob roll and the chicken paratha. It's halal on top of it.

Wells L.

Yelp
TL:DR - Best lunch spot on my lunch tour. Above average Indian fare wrapped in a flaky grilled wrap. Serving size is a bit on the small end, you will absolutely not be judged for ordering two. For me, the paratha was easily better than the roti options. The Chicken tikka was delicious and satisfying while the chicken reshmi was delicious and light. Can't go wrong with either. FINALLY, a lunch option that isn't just OK. This place hits ALL the checkboxes for a work lunch: it's reasonably priced, fast, and TASTY. Bombay wraps takes delicious Indian fare (think tikka masla) and wraps it in an Indian flaky burrito type wrap. The wraps themselves are rather small and I could easily eat two if I was hungry. They're bigger than a standard softshell taco, but much smaller than a tacobell burrito. I've had the tikka Masala and Chicken Reshmi wraps, while both are delicious, the tikka Masla hits the spot more than the Reshmi if you're looking for something hearty. The Reshmi is lighter and has its place. I've also had both the Paratha and the roti, and I like the paratha much better. The paratha is much flakier which gives it a more satisfying mouthfeel, while the roti is a bit thinner and reminds me of a very very smooth tortilla, that doesn't have those grill bubbles. They also have their preparation line down to a science. Most of the meat is prepared ahead of time and ready to go for the lunch crowd, and they already have partha on the griddle warming for the next wrap. If you want the roti, I feel like they make those to order and so you have to wait a few minutes to get those. But from order to pay, it only took me 2 minutes. Perfect for a quick lunch. I will definitely be back to try the rolls and lamb curry!

Savivan P.

Yelp
Omgosh, the samosa wrap is amazing!!! So delicious! And it was prepared fast too! Love the food here! It tastes very fresh! Wish you guys would come open some restaurants in Denver! I will definitely come back to this place again when I am in town next time! Nom-nom-nom : )

Pam D.

Yelp
Most of the food comes from frozen food!!! Frozen samosas they don't make parantha(Roti) it's from frozen too! Rashmi chicken taste really bad!!!

Michelle B.

Yelp
Excellent taste, freshness, and portions. My fave is the tikka wrap. delicious lassis. An affordable and delicious lunch!

Lefai K.

Yelp
It's been a minute sine the last time I've been to Bombay Wraps. Still tasty AF! I love the concept of fast casual Indian food. The setup is pretty much the same as I remembered it. Pick a wrap, bowl (salad or rice) or, new to me, a roll (pretty much a thick slice of texas toast cut in the middle, where they stuff your food on. I went with the chicken reshmi rice bowl and it was delicious. The grilled chicken breast marinated in a spiced-yogurt blend, topped with a fresh garden medley of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and radishes. Finished with cilantro mint chutney and a creamy yogurt sauce. Phenomenal. The line for this place is always at least 10 or so deep on a downtown lunch rush, but the line moves relatively fast. Overall, a "Yay! I'm a fan" rating from me

Avanti A.

Yelp
I wouldn't say the old here tastes super delicious but for a fast food type corner that serves Indian this place stands out pretty well. The environment(Inside) is small, could accomodate around 20 people or so altogether. This would be ideal for take outs of it you are a group of 2-3 you could dine in when it's not super busy. It was pretty packed when I went there during lunch and it took some 10 minutes by the time I got to the station to place my order. They have handful of options to pick from for the type of dish and you ca have it either as a wrap, roll or bowl(Rice and salad). Price is decent. The portion of One wrap would not be enough for one full meal(Say lunch). I ordered chicken tikka bowl with rice. Apart from meat and rice you also get toppings, onion, cucumber and tomato, some lettuce/salad. I went with mild for the spice level but it was bit spicy to me. I don't know that's their level of mild or if they got it mixed. You get a side or yogurt I believe which helped me in managing the spice level. Meat tasted little dry on its own but the overall taste/flavor is good when combined with the sauce.

Shriram A.

Yelp
Great quick eat. The flaky paratha and with the egg was just great. Tried a Number of rolls including chicken reshmi, the lamb and the samosa wrap as well. The samosa wrap was delish. Just perfect and the tamarind chutney was just OMG !!

Irving W.

Yelp
This place has a great array of vegetarian options at a reasonable price. My favorite is the paneer wrap with onions and the mild green chutney but you honestly can't go wrong. The bread the wraps are served on is really wonderful and cooked to perfection. Also the staff are really friendly.

Shaleen A.

Yelp
One of the few places I love to eat in Eden Prairie. My fav is the chaat fries and bhel. Besides the Apps I love their wraps and Paneer pizza

Genna G.

Yelp
Pretty good take out. I'd describe it as the chipotle or Panda Express of Indian food. Excellent Samosa's . . Our family enjoyed the rice bowls. I had the lamb- kind of bland even with the sauces provided- my husbands chicken was more flavorful so next time I'm ordering that or trying the paneer. Price point was fair. Will return

Preeti T.

Yelp
Great place great wraps. We had variety of wraps and all were tasty. chicken, lamb, cauliflower-potatoes, paneer and chickpeas wraps. Samosa was good too. We Picked up and went to millennium park to enjoy the day. Will come again!

G W.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time. We had the chicken tikka roll - OMG, super good! Well-seasoned, super tender chunks of chicken and in a delicious thick buttered toasted roll. Unfortunately, we split one to just try it but I definitely will get my own and more, next time.

Joani O.

Yelp
Bombay Wraps was the popup restaurant in my office building's lobby yesterday and my lunch was so good that I made it a point to log in and write this up really quick. I had the chicken tikka wrap with a side of samosas, which was perfect for lunch. Both items very fresh and tasty. The bread for the wrap was tender and not too much like some other wraps, which I'm usually not a fan of. The chicken was seasoned well and delicious. The samosas were crisp and flaky and surprisingly still warm, with a yummy potato/pea filling. I ordered mine spicy and they had just the right amount of kick. I don't like to eat too much at lunchtime and the portions here were perfect. I spent $8 for lunch and couldn't have been happier. I hope they come back!

Ellie D.

Yelp
perfect spot for a fresh and flavorful lunch downtown. it's hard pressed to find a reasonably priced but filling meal in the city! for less than $15 I had a delicious samosa wrap, lentil dal soup, and side of basmati rice! everything was wonderfully flavorful. a great little chain throughout the area -- i ordered online and was in and out to pick it up just a few minutes later. i'll be back. :)

Gino W.

Yelp
What a difference a few years make. When Bombay Wraps first opened, there was street food authenticity to everything that made this place a magnet. My recent order of a chicken tikka Masala wrap was anything but chicken tikka masala. It was baked chicken with toppings from the "Chipotle" station. This has been par for the course during my last 3 visits. It was only a matter of time before output from the kitchen started pandering to basic American palates, apparent from the spicy sauces being mild. What happened?

Brea S.

Yelp
I ordered wraps on Ubereats and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a Mango Lassi, two Chicken Tikka Wraps, and the Chickpea Chana Wrap. The chana wrap and lassi weren't my favorite but the chicken tikka wrap is a hit! Would definitely order that again.

Alex C.

Yelp
Fast, cool spot for Indian-style food. I got a chicken wrap. The meat is high quality, tender and flavorful. The wrap they put it on was tasty as well. A single wrap is about $5, which seems cheap but it's not super big. Seemed like most people got 2 and at $10, it's a good lunch but about average priced. If they could offer 2 of these delicious wraps for less than like $8 I'd be there everyday. Still a cool concept and I do like how fast they move. Will definitely be back to try the other options.

Kelly C.

Yelp
My cousin and I grabbed a quick lunch here on a Tuesday afternoon. Since he married into an Indian family, he is my go-to when it comes to ordering Indian food. He advised me that one wrap is not enough for one person, but two can be too much. We compromised and ordered four, which we then cut in half and shared... and he was right! I finished two halves and then took bites of the other two because I was too full. We ordered a potato wrap, cheese paneer, chickpea, and chicken tikka. The potato was my favorite, the cheese was a close second, and the chickpea was by far the messiest. I would order any of the above again in a heartbeat. My one complaint is that the place is not big enough for the lunch crowd. There are only a handful of tables, most of which are 4-tops, and it can be a long wait for a seat. It would be better if it was either larger and included more tables, or was smaller and just a pick-up spot. Either way, this didn't really change my experience since the food was just that good!

Rachel H.

Yelp
They were my Fooda option in my office building today. I was being lazy due to the cold weather and didn't want to go out for lunch so I opted for the in-house restaurant convenience. I decided on the Chicken Tikka and I must admit it was pretty darn good. My very first time having this and I was pretty impressed by the taste, especially being in the Fooda quick fast to go format. The Chicken Tikka is pretty much grilled boneless chicken marinated in Tadoori spices and the spices are what make these wraps. I love the subtle tinge of spiciness the wrap has. The only negative is that the wraps are small and not filling on just it alone. You will need probably two or maybe even three depending on how hungry you're to get to that point, but for $6 a pop and for two making my lunch cost $12, not worth that price to me. For $12 I can get a whole small pizza. Their food is good, but their price point in comparison to quantity is bad.

Danny G.

Yelp
This place is great. Quality, flavor, customer service. So why did I give it a 1 Star? Today when picking up my food, the manager dropped a bowl on the ground and half of its fillings fell to the floor. Rather than throwing it out or adding more to the bowl, he decided to pick it up off the ground so it can be served again to someone else. I know this is probably common practice in restaurants but still. Just gross and makes me not want to go back

Neuy D.

Yelp
Good food and reasonable prices for the area. The goat was very flavorful, I really don't know what the other reviews are referring to saying it is bland. I got the onions and the sauce and they may have skipped on those 2 key in ingredients? Anyways, it was great and the meat was portion was generous. I also had the tikka chicken wrap. Also very good and generous with the meat.

Caleb J.

Yelp
Mediocre food and portion size. Service was ok. Had a container for complementary water, but it was empty.
