"Now in Highland, Bombay to Kathmandu serves great Indian and Nepalese dishes. Momos, kormas, and thalis, plus some fusion like french fry chaat with chutney, yogurt, and chickpeas, can all be seen served around its dining room along with the signature dish: curry pizzas. Chicken makhani, paneer and chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, and lamb vindaloo all top crispy pie crusts for a spiced-up slice of pizza. While there’s plenty of room inside, why not order a curry pizza to go or delivered by Uber Eats or Doordash to shake up your pizza delivery routine?" - Deven Wilson
"Bombay To Kathmandu is located in a fairly empty strip mall next to an old movie theater in Highland, and it’s a decent option for Indian and Nepali food in the area. In the evenings, you’ll need to order off the menu (get the momos and house-special curries), but on the weekdays you’ll have access to the lunch buffet featuring about a dozen different curries, grilled meats, and sides. There’s even a self-serve chai dispenser if you need to caffeinate before going back to work." - nicolai mccrary
"Head to the relocated restaurant now in Highland still serves great Indian and Nepalese dishes, such as momos, kormas, and thalis, plus some fusion stuff like french fry chaat with chutney, yogurt, and chickpeas; and curry pizzas. Takeout orders can be placed online; there are indoor dine-in services." - Nadia Chaudhury
"Bombay To Kathmandu is located in a fairly empty strip mall next to an old movie theater in Highland, and it’s a decent option for Indian and Nepali food in the area. But whenever this spot made its hypothetical journey from India to Nepal, it detoured in Italy because besides South Indian curries and Himalayan dishes, they also have pizzas on the menu. Skip those and focus on the momos and house special curries. That’s what this place does best, but we’ve also had some solid biryani and tandoori chicken here as well. Despite the relatively quiet setting, it can get a little lively inside. Stop by to grab a light bite and a cheap drink after catching whatever superhero movies came out this week. Food Rundown Chicken Chili Momos The chili sauce is a little sweet, but not in an off-putting way. And the momos are fried nicely, with crispy edges and soft, tender chicken filling. photo credit: Nicolai McCrary House Special Lamb Curry The house special curries—chicken, lamb, or goat—are all solid options with generous servings of meat, and a tasty curry that goes well with some garlic naan. photo credit: Nicolai McCrary Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza This feels like one step up from a frozen pizza, swapping the tomato sauce for tikka masala gravy and adding in a few pieces of chicken. You won’t be mad that you ordered this, but you’ll also forget about it the moment you step out the front door. photo credit: Nicolai McCrary" - Nicolai McCrary
"Another great momo destination is this Quail Creek South Asian restaurant, where there are chicken momos in steamed, fried, chili, and jhol versions. Takeout orders can be placed online; there are indoor dine-in services." - Darcie Duttweiler
