This is the most overpriced and disappointing tasting menu with pairing that I have ever had. €200 was far too much to charge for good but not amazing food and a very miserly wine pairing. Most of the dishes were good but had no wow factor, whilst the catch of the day was a confused mix of fish and seafood, the steak was very average, and the millefeuille was slightly burnt and bitter. The wine pairing was tiny, really small glasses of around 50/75ml, all very good but tiny.
The venue and service were great, and the views are what one pays for. But I have had many 1* Michelin experiences that have been a lot better for a lot less. This is not a 1* Michelin, and charging €200 for a Knife & Fork rated tasting menu is too much. I don’t think Pedro Lemos, who has his name attached to the restaurant, has anything to do with the kitchen.
