Denver’s Best Brunch Restaurants | Eater Denver

"Like its Cherry Creek sibling La Merise, this endearing little Wash Park West hideaway specializes in crepes by day — nearly 20 in all, whether stuffed with beef tenderloin tips, Gruyère, and fried eggs or ratatouille and feta in tomato sauce; unlike its sibling, it’s open for brunch all week long, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday through Sunday. Bottomless mimosas for just $22 seal the deal." - Ruth Tobias

Bon Ami is a charming French bistro in Denver’s Wash Park neighborhood that delivers both authentic flavors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the intimate ambiance, soft lighting, and friendly service set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. I had the Steak au Poivre, and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly—tender and juicy on the inside with a beautifully seared peppercorn crust. The rich, creamy cognac-peppercorn sauce added just the right balance of heat and depth of flavor, complementing the steak without overpowering it. Paired with crispy, golden pommes frites, it was a classic yet indulgent dish that I’d order again in a heartbeat.

Google
we had an amazing brunch on the patio here! i had the seafood crepe and my boyfriend ordered the reuben. both were phenomenal! we also had the soup of the day which was also very yummy. and some oysters! can’t wait to go back!

Sea Bass and Duck Confit with Pasta. Delicious dishes, very good wait staff, drinks were great also. Creme Brulee to finish, it was silky, warm and the browned sugar on top was perfect. We really enjoyed our time there!

Google
We were delighted upon every step - breezy beautiful patio, inside cozy romantic lighting, food was decadent / perfectly plated & portioned, servers were sweet and patient, and just when we thought the fun couldn’t end, the dessert menu came out. Anyone in Denver or passing through Denver simply must come through.

One of the best meals I have had in a restaurant in a long time. I can’t recommend Bon Ami enough! I ordered the Lamb Chops, a Chardonnay, and finished with a Crème Brûlée. 10/10 will be going back when I am in Denver again.

Google
Really cozy mellow ambiance great for breakfast or brunch. Had the corned beef hash crepes (they have gluten free crepes too). The shredded duck and duck fat appetizer was also delicious. Great spot to meet a friend for conversation without being too loud.

Google
We had such a wonderful experience here. We came for the gluten free crepes, but we would come back for the service. It was truly the most attentive service we’ve had anywhere in the last 4 years. Everyone was so kind and checked on us multiple times regarding GF sauces, bread and drinks. The mimosas come in various flavors and are generous portions. Cute patio and homey decor in the cutest way. Can’t wait to come back when the rain finally stops!

Google
The food was wonderful and the building is great. With how the world is, dining is already expensive and a treat so when you have super inconsiderate wait staff it really sucks. I went with my 3 year old daughter. Ordered my meal and asked if they had a half order of French toast, yes was informed. Receive the check and was charged for the entire meal which fine but then charged an additional $6 for a side of bacon that I later figured out actually came with the meal. So my 3 year old daughter consumed, $4.50 in 2 oz of lemonade, half a piece of bacon for $6.00 and 16.00 for her meal plus another $6.00 for the one egg I ordered. If you want to keep people coming back make it reasonable. I’ll never come back for the unnecessary nickle and diming. It was almost unethical.

Yelp
Such a brilliant little secret in this neighborhood! One of the best patios in Denver. Their brunch is exquisite. They have a bottomless $20 Mimosa with the purchase of a breakfast entree everyday. And they are actually open every day! They're open for brunch through lunch, also for dinner. The Lamb Chop Provençal was exquisite. And such a good value. They make potatoes better here than I think they make them anywhere else in town. The Beef Bourguignon is fantastic. The service is excellent. The dessert list is probably one of the biggest I've seen in town also. Fantastic crips. Fantastic everything! And the bartender Steven is delightful. It is somewhat less visible, but I think far better than the perfectly adequate nearby Cajun breakfast place.

Yelp
We've come here more times than I can count as it's one of my mom's favorite restaurants. We usually come for brunch, but have come for dinner a few times. I guess I'd give 4 stars for brunch and then the 3 stars is more for dinner service. The space is cute and the staff is always friendly. My mom loves the brunch crepes. I've gotten the mussels and I almost always get the pate maison. All have been good. My issues now arise with dinner. My mom and I came once and both got the steak au poivre. My mom's wasn't cooked to her liking and she mentioned it to the server. The server apologized. That was it. For $43, I want you to take it back and redo it. We then went back for dinner again, this time I guess we were there for too long and asked to move to the bar. We were about to order dessert and more drinks, but that's fine. I've been asked to move to the bar before and given a cheap glass of bubbles which is more than enough to make me happy to move. The server who asked us to move assured us that she would take great care of us at the bar. Great! So we move, and nothing. I asked if we could get some bevvies for our move, to which we were told no, they can't do that. Check Open Table, see our lifetime spend there... but cool. Then my mom asked to talk to a manager, to which, of course she says, "I'm the manager". Naturally. I know the markup on booze at restaurants is a min 30% and you can't pour us some cheap bubbles that you are more than happy to use for bottomless mimosas? Neat. I truthfully don't love this place or its sister La Merise, but I know I'm in the minority. Again, we come because my mom loves it. Sadly, I think it'll take at least one more disappointing visit before she finally gives it up.

Yelp
The ambiance is so cool as soon as you walk in. They have a cool "France France" casino-like area once you walk in. After that, the restaurant itself is so cool. Most things are in French and they have multiple areas: the Pavilionne Bar, the Au Revoir (main indoor seating area), a nice area with a little sunlight and another bar, and outdoor seating. We sat in the area with a little sunlight. The area was really nice. They play music but the noise is loud. The bread service was a baguette with whipped butter. AMAZING service. People came around every couple minutes refilling waters! Water cups never got below 75% full. The ONLY THING making my review four stars was my steak. Shirley Temple: 8.510 Very flavorful, just filled to the very top, which caused a spill. I've just had a lot of Shirley Temples before. Old Fashioned: 8/10 Amuse-Bouche: 9.5/10 Really good. Nice, savory flavor with a tad bit of sweetness. Baguette: 9.5/10 Inside is a 10/10, but it was just really crunchy on the outside (I know, that's how baguettes are supposed to be like). Very fluffy. Caesar Salad: 10/10 Amazing. Sauce is so full of flavor. The anchovies are on point. The croutons are homemade and spectacular Steak and Frites (French Fries) Kids Meal: Steak: 5.5/10 Flavorful but very cold and chewy. Frites (Fries): 10/10 SO GOOD! Perfectly salty and crispy. French Onion Soup: 10/10 "Best I've ever had." Said my mom who ordered it. Steak: 9/10 "Excellent grill flavor. Went well with the fries and butter." Said my dad who ordered it.

Yelp
Breakfast at Bon Ami with some friends was a good call! This place had a nice vibe and a great place to chill with some friends for brunch. Great atmosphere, espresso, tasty food and friendly service! My memory is a bit fuzzy, and I meet up with some old, literally and figuratively speaking of course, and the vibe was high! Yeah, I'm talking to you brunchees! I see you! And no I'm not a stalker!

Yelp
If someone said that this is/was a Michelin Star restaurant, I would believe it. French cuisine (in general) isn't something I frequently opt for when I am out for dinner with my family or friends. I haven't been to many French restaurants in Denver but I may be able to comfortably say that this is by far the best one I've ever been to. Ambience: Checked! The building looks inconspicuously unassuming meaning that it looks so small on the outside. But once you step inside and pass the bar area to the west side, you'll realize that it's got quite the space. And the decors are thoughtfully very French. Its cuteness compelled me to take photo after photo as we walk deep into the back of the restaurant. We sat all the way to the back of it (at the west end of it.) At 5pm on a beautiful Tuesday night, we were the second guest to arrive. It didn't take long before the restaurant reached 80-90% of its max capacity. Busy Tuesday night, I thought. Our waiter: Was Roger. He was efficient and professional. He focused on the task at hand. No small talk but sometimes that is the best. I was able to tell that he's been with the restaurant for a while due to his eloquence in his speech in explaining what the specials were etc. Wine: When I asked Roger about the House French Wine, he said it was a nice quality blend with some Garnacha in it. Sounded good to me. When he came back with the wine, I realized that there was a generous pour of it in a large red wine glass. And for the price of only $9, this is an amazing full-bodied wine. This is a must get if you are a red wine drinker. My daughter asked him for a suggestion which crepe we should get. He suggested Stroganoff. Along with that was the Vegetarian Dish du Jour (orzo pasta dish). We thought we'd split the two. Orzo pasta: This was impressively good. I mean the word "superb" may not describe the dish fully. We had nothing but utmost compliment to the chef who cooked it. Like I said, in my mind, this is a Michelin Star dish. Stroganoff crepe: If you are a meat lover, get this crepe. The garnished sour cream was a nice little touch added to the brown sauce that poured over the crepe. This was heavenly as well. We were so full after our meal. Although Roger brought us the dessert menu, we were simply too full to eat anymore. We decided to save that for our next dining. My daughter was so impressed with everything we had at Bon Ami tonight. As we were walking away from our table, she made a stop at the bar and bought a gift card for one of her friends as a holiday gift. As her friend is huge fan of French cuisine, she couln't help buying her a gift card so she herself can experience this exquisite and delightful French dining.

Yelp
Such a cute French bistro, but super packed for weekend brunch so definitely get a reservation if you plan on going at a busy time. We sat indoors but I saw there's also an outdoor patio which would be nice for warmer temperatures! The menu is quite extensive with lots of crepe options, omelettes, and French classics. I had a nicoise salad which was honestly really filling and packed with capers which I love. They also serve complimentary warm bread and butter at each table, which is just alright, though I do prefer a crustier baguette. The ambiance at brunch is very lively, though never so loud that I felt like I had to shout. I would love to return to try some dinner menu items as I am not much of a brunch person, the pictures I've seen online look promising.

Yelp
came for lunch on a Thursday. Cute little date night spot or girls brunch spot. They don't really have lunch more Brunch all day but hey works for me! They have extensive savory and sweet crepes as well as some nice salad options, some other breakfasty stuff and what I came for, which is..... Croque Madame. Started with some lovely bread, butter and orange marmalade. I tried the Kit Royal which I loved and my guest got bottomless mimosa for $20 a total steal! My guest got the seafood crepe which was amazing and a nice size. Loved the fries and dipping sauce, loved my sandwich with the lovely yolk, my only complaint I had no room for dessert but also please add chocolate soufflé on menu and I would have overstuffed for a soufflé. Will be back.

Yelp
Oui... j'aime Bon Ami! This quaint little French gem will indeed become a good friend of mine. You are friendly, reliable, authentic, genuine, and a breath of fresh air. The menu is quite classic in its French origin. I find most French restaurants these days to be confused and lost it's roots. Not Bon Ami. The servers are very attentive, the food delivers. Everything I had felt right. Had brunch with my 2 kids... OJ and baguette were fresh, avocado salad was refreshing. The saumon gravlax was on point. The saint crepe I didn't love but it wasn't bad. Sauce was overly tart and sweet. Overall I cannot complain. I absolutely will be back. Maybe for happy hour with 50% wine on the patio. We shall definitely have a second date my friend.

Yelp
Went for brunch with several friends. Super cute atmosphere and great service. Unfortunately, the food (crepes, french toast, etc) was just okay and we didn't feel it was anything special.
google avatar

Yelp
I posted this on Google reviews too, but thought Yelp would also be a good place to share our experience. We went here for a date night and can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. First of all, the service is top notch - very professional. Second, the atmosphere is quaint and cozy, not that far off from a Paris bistro (love the bottle of water at the table!). Food was great and a good wine selection too. I have to mention this, hoping someone at the restaurant will read my review. There was a lavender honey cake on the desert menu (sounds like it was seasonal). That was the BEST cake I have ever had. Seriously. Please keep that on the menu if possible!

Yelp
This a French restaurant/creperie off Alameda St northwest of Wash Park. Came here for dinner on July 4th, was able to make a same day reservation. The inside is in the smaller side and leans toward a more casual feel than upscale, however there is plenty more seating out in their patio. For drinks, we got French Connection cocktail (quite good), house white wine (okay), and Malbec 2018 (okay). Also got a Dewars scotch but they charge an extra $2 for "on the rocks" which is wild, never seen that at another restaurant before. Got the Mussels a la Mariniere as in garlic white wine sauce for an appetizer. This comes with a lot of mussels and although the sauce didn't have enough flavor, we still liked the quality of this dish. For dinner I had the lamb chops, which were cooked very well and were tasty. however the chef's vegetables on the side were flavorless and disappointing. The rest of our group tried different crepes which had good flavor but will cost almost $20 each. All in all, not a bad place but I think it would be better suited trying during their happy hour time
google avatar

Deborah M.

Yelp
Came here on a whim after picking up my kiddo from school. We were seated quickly and the ambiance was white tablecloth Parisian vibe. Ordered a crepe and an omelet- my son said it was the best crepe he's ever had!
google avatar

Blaine T.

Yelp
Incredible food. Great service. Fair price. Loved it! /5 We went for brunch and ordered: Merise Crêpe: Tips of beef tenderloin, Gruyère cheese and two fried eggs wrapped in a crêpe. Served with peppercorn cream sauce Saint Tropez Crêpe: Baked salmon, goat cheese, sautéed spinach and orange citrus sauce The Merise was my favorite. The fried egg in the crepe ... out of this world! I can't wait to go back for dinner and get dessert!

Yelp
I've been here for both dinner and brunch and would recommend both! It has a great ambiance and in the summer they have an outdoor eating area that's very charming. Dinner and brunch both had great options and $20 bottomless mimosas for brunch is a steal. A lot of the menu is either gluten free or can be modified gluten free and they had gf bread too

Kelly W.

Yelp
I love this place. The food is fantastic, especially the St Tropez crepe. I love the seafood crepe too. Bottomless mimosas if that's your thing. We love going on Sundays for brunch. The prices are reasonable too. We rarely eat at the same restaurant twice. This place is the exception.

Jeanine K.

Yelp
Got here at 9:00 AM when they opened on a Sunday. Great staff, sat on the patio which was well shaded and very comfortable. Two of us had the cordon bleu crêpe and it was absolutely fantastic. One of us had the Alsace crêpe, and it was the star of the show!! Everything was delicious - can't think of a single thing we weren't wowed by. Fresh squeezed OJ, though pricey, was also so, so good.
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
Bon Ami never disappoints! I've been here several times now for brunch with girlfriends, and I absolutely love the European Cafe vibe, the wonderful service, and the delicious crepes. They take reservations too, which is a huge plus in my book!
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
We had dinner here recently with friends. Ambience: located at the very busy intersection of Alameda and Pennsylvania, this place has surprising charm and a nice outdoor patio that was in the shade on this hot summer evening. Inside was likewise pleasant and comfortable. Service: Airida did a good job for us. Food: Liked the baguette, the happy hour with reduced pricing on cocktails, wine by the bottle (50% off) and mussels. Crepes have never been a big favorite of ours, but these were good and comprised more than half of the menu. Broccolini just ok. Nice French restaurant that we just discovered due to our friends who told us this is one of their favorite spots in the area. Relatively good value compared to other French restaurants, which tend to charge a premium. Try to arrive no later than 530PM to take advantage of Happy hour pricing (4-6PM).

Yelp
This is my most favorite local place, hands down. I come here often for the delightful food, calming ambiance, super friendly staff, and naturally, the bottomless mimosas. I can get a table by myself and work on my computer, come for dinner as a date with my husband, or brave bringing the little ones out for brunch. Whether you're eating inside or outside (the patio is pup-friendly), it's, cozy, and non-pretentious, yet fancy, beautiful, super clean, and just a wonderful time. The food is a fun mixture of French cuisine with a touch of something different (ruben crepe for example.) You can make a reservation online or just walk in. I highly recommend Bon Ami, it's a staple and a model for what most restaurants need but is severely lacking.

Yelp
The food was delicious great place for brunch. The martinis are amazing. The ambiance is lively and active. The service was great and friendly. Been here several time and it Alwyas is delicious.

Yelp
Very tiny restaurant. Park along residential streets. I got the salmon lox crepe. It was ok. Very very expensive for the tiny appetizer like portion. Super hungry after My friend got the meaty hash crepe. It was def way more filling than mine. It was not bad Overall very overpriced for portions and quality/taste. It was ok.
google avatar

Joy Q.

Yelp
Came back for dinner on a date night. The entries were not that good, and I was a little disappointed after the first time when I had such a great experience during brunch The ambience was still great, so I might still come back, but I will be there is still active with the items I order - my favorite so far was the stroganoff beef Crepe and the Napoleon cake. I'm gonna try to avoid ordering the seafood risotto or mussels again.
google avatar

Polly S.

Yelp
Oh my God! One of my favorites! The best Mussels! and the out door patio is the very best! Ps. Park in neighborhood and enjoy the ventage homes.bon Appétit! Pss. LA Merise in Cherry Creek are Sister Resturants. Try both!
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
First time at Bon Ami. The fisherman's stew was excellent, definitely a "5". The crepe was more like a smothered burrito. Not the thin, light "pancake" we expected. Very doughy. The service was good, considering how busy they were on a Thursday. We'll be back, but not for the crepes.
google avatar

Ruba A.

Yelp
From the quality of food to the service I could not give enough props for how amazing this Sunday brunch was, and our server Trissa was so delightful. I or we will definitely be back over and over again.
google avatar

Caroline N.

Yelp
We loved the food so much I took the photo late! The soup and monte Christi crepe were great! we loved the interior and the ambience. Next time we will definitely try to get a table on the patio though! The staff was so kind and welcoming. Our waiter was very prompt and positive without lingering
google avatar

Haley B.

Yelp
We had a delicious brunch here! This review is for my fellow gluten free diners. They can use gluten free batter for the crepes, and many other menu items are gf or can be modified. I had the chef's omelette which was the best omelette I've had in a long time. My non-gf partner enjoyed his eggs benedict crepe a ton as well. There's plenty of dessert options. We tried the chocolate mousse and it was a sizable portion & delicious. Needless to say, we left feeling satisfied and full! I didn't have any reaction to the food afterwards. I am not celiac so I didn't ask about cross contamination procedures, so I would make sure to call ahead and inquire about that. We went around 12pm on Saturday and there was plenty of indoor seating available. Most people were outside on the patio. Also, the mimosa was great!

Brian B.

Yelp
This is my favorite place for brunch in Denver. The lemon ricotta pancakes could not be better and the service and atmosphere are always perfect. It is easy to give it five stars. One time, I left my cell phone on the table and they stayed late so that I could pick it up. How nice was that?
google avatar

Randy S.

Yelp
Everything was good! Right next to the park - pistachio croissant highly recommended!
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
I chose this cute little place for my birthday brunch yesterday and I was not disappointed! Honestly, I am shocked I've not been here sooner. Knowing that 75% of the menu is crepes, I had to get a crepe. I went with the Crab Benedict Crepe and it was SO GOOD! From my first bite I was instantly regretting that I agreed to share with Hubs. He ordered the French Dip which I was actually pretty excited about as well and it was yummy too- but I'd go for the crepe again and again! Our little had the pancakes and she was disappointed because they weren't like "normal pancakes" but Hubs and I both thought they were amazing. There's citrus zest inside and they're like a fluffy biscuit! How could one not love that sort of thing?!
google avatar

Natasha G.

Yelp
Delicious food, so nice and cozy. Perfect for a date, we came during lunch. Very intimate.
google avatar

Craig S.

Yelp
Outstanding modern French cuisine! The Boeuf Bourguignon is out of this world! The entire experience was a delight from the friendly waitstaff to the ambiance to the food itself. I'll definitely be back!

Josh C.

Yelp
Everything was perfect. The escargots was buttery, herbal, and delicious, the cheese plate was overflowing, and the beef bourguignon was the best I've ever had. And don't sleep on the desserts- crème brûlée was perfection. Amazingly, it was also super affordable, the atmosphere was cozy and gorgeous, and the staff were friendly, warm, and inviting. I could go back every day!
google avatar

Lindsey B.

Yelp
AMAZING crepes!! The stroganoff crepe is my favorite savory crepe but each time I come here I get something different and Ive never been disappointed! On Sunday they do a bottomless mimosa brunch and have very generous pours. You can mix and match juices but oj comes standard so make sure to ask.
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
Love how quaint this place is! Parking can be challenging but well worth it! The inside is fun, light and welcoming that reminds me of France. The steak frites was awesome! The steak was perfectly cooked and just enough at 6 ounces. The only thing that I didn't want to share were the mussels in white sauce...outstanding. That's the only word that would bring the dish justice. Pair it with their Eiffel Tower martini and it's a heavenly meal! This is a Denver must.
google avatar

Bennett P.

Yelp
I came for brunch before flying to Europe later today for a 16 day vacation. Thank goodness I made a reservation thru OpenTable. They had a full house and walk-in's only had the bar as an option. Their patio was full. I started with the seafood chowder with croutons. Very good. I then got the Crab Benedict crepe and a glass of Rhone Valley Campuget 2021 rose. Just right with my benedict crepe. For dessert, I had Chambord Royale with a slice of Napoleon cake. Very decadent. I will have fresh memory to compare in Paris this week.
google avatar

Marcie R.

Yelp
Super cute!! We had breakfast outside on a Saturday morning. The weather was perfect and so was the food! The scrambled eggs were the softest, creamiest eggs I've ever had. I did get the corned beef hash which was not what I expected. It was all meat and no potatoes. It wasn't bad, just too much meat for me. I will definen return to this cute little neighborhood restaurant!

Katherine D.

Yelp
Went here for dessert! Banana crepe game was on point. Inhaled this dish; loved every bite
google avatar

Ben C.

Yelp
We have been wanting to try Bon Ami for a while! During COVID, it is especially nice that they have such an inviting outdoor space! We only had a bottle of wine (happy hour daily until 6- all bottles of wine HALF OFF!) and a few starters. Wine was very good! We ordered a Kir Royale as well- which was a bit too sweet- so less cassis next time! The fries and the aioli are to die for- crispy fresh and the garlic! The salmon was to die for. So fresh, the bread so crispy, and the shallots and goat cheese were a perfect topping with the capers! The menu looks amazing, staff were warm and inviting. We will definitely be back for a full dinner!
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
A wide selection of delicious pastries and treats. Service was friendly and helpful. A great find!
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Love this French bistro. I rank it over other French choices in Denver. I've tended to lean to the savory crepe choices for lunch. Favorites are the seafood crepe, the lox crepe, the merise crepe (beef and cheese), and Monte Christo crepe ( ham and bechamel sauce). For dinner the steak frites are great but I also really like the fisherman's stew. They make a nice Nicoise salad as well. Parking on Pennsylvania can be sparse so allowing for a short walk after finding a spot is a good idea.
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
Great service and food. The waitress was great and made sure to bring coffee for refills. A lot of options, but not too many that were vegetarian. It would have been great if they used paper to to go containers. The plastic ones that they provide will likely never actually get recycled whether or not you put it in the recycling bin. Better to provide paper then something that was made using oil.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
The food here is incredible. We especially loved the escargot and special pea ravioli. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. It's a small joint and you'll need a reservation. Well worth the visit!
google avatar

Phil G.

Yelp
Fantastic, everyone loved it!!! Food, service, vibe. Easy 5. Went for a minor celebration. Waitress gave us a few recommendations on starters and mains. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine which appeared almost immediately. Enter through a corner door to see a small-ish room with a bar. Then through a doorway is a bigger dining room Starters were gravalax, escargots and brussel sprouts; the sprouts were amazing I ordered the Stroganoff Crepe which is pretty beefy Anyway, we all loved it

Yelp
I'm only a few days in Denver but this must be my favorite until now. Everything - every single item looks good! Try making a choice here, hard!!! I got the crab eggs Benedict. It was amazing!!! Beforehand I got French baguette with butter and jelly which was good too. My latte was delicious. And best of all: the staff was outstanding and so friendly!! As an avid Yelp member I always want to discover new places but this place will have me come back for sure!!!!

Yelp
This is now one of my all-time favorite French cuisine options in Denver. While others may complain the service takes awhile, the European culture is reflected in that way. Everything my group ordered - mussels, escargot, lamb chops, stroganoff crepes - was simply divine and incredibly flavorful. Drinks were filled generously and the entire staff was friendly, professional, and prompt. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
My husband and I spent some time in France and all he wanted for Father's Day was a French omelet and escargot. For a regular run-of-the-mill breakfast breakfast this place was good, but we would not call it French. The escargot is shelled, which is fine, but the sauce is very heavy and overpowering. The dish does not come with any type of bread, we asked for some when we noticed it didn't come with any. The omelettes are not the fluffy, delicate French omelette, they're just a regular omelette, the seafood one was slathered in some kind of pink tomato based sauce. we will be continuing our search for a French breakfast that comes as close as possible to what we experienced in France.

Yelp
A good friend indeed. I needed a French restaurant for mothers day dinner. It had to have something on the menu for a picky child. Bon Ami delivered a nice plain steak frites for my daughter. The adults ordered a number of the french classics, including, steak au poivre, sole Meunier, and the Pâté Maison. All were properly executed and very good. We sat inside, but when we go back, I'd like to sit on what looked like an awesome back patio.

Yelp
First time at Bon Ami for brunch, and we were not disappointed. The service and food was incredible. The decor, along with French music playing background, was nice. Definitely coming back for dinner

Yelp
Bon Ami always has a nice pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Service great. Typical French bistro menu though a very good range of choices covering meats, fish, etc PLUS a large choice of crepes. Savory and sweet. I had a steak which was perfectly cooked and tender and side of steamed vegetables. Prices reasonable. We have been a few times and it never disappoints.
