My wife and I were in Arlington working and decided to treat ourselves to Korean BBQ when we finished. Wow, the food was so delicious and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Michelle was our server , and she never let our glasses run dry, and when our grill was mucked up, she was there with a new one. The star of the show was the bulgogi on the buffet. It was tender, sweet, and just downright delicious. The glass noodles were effing good! My only complaint is that there are no beds to nap in after eating. Seriously, if you like Korean BBQ, you’ve got to try this place!

Most folks share reviews of their first time. Same here. The location is hard to get too on S Cooper with heavy traffic on a Friday evening. That’s the only drawback. Everything else was superlative. Everything was delicious with all our favorites, including a great selection of vegetarian/banchan options. The price was attractive. We found the service was attentive. We just need to switch on a bright light.

Google
Great first time experience. The staff were friendly and courteous. They were really nice just wished they were a tad bit more communicative regarding the options and process. The meats were seasoned well. Everything we tried was delicious. I appreciated them changing out the grills after we used it. The ginger tea was very tasty. I enjoyed my meal and will definitely visit again.

Google
The food-friendly atmosphere was amazing. The shared grill allowed for a family-centric expirience and there was always something new to try. Highly recommend all you can eat as trying everything is the best decision you can make here.

It is very good Korean all you can eat BBQ. They have variety of meat options and side dishes. You must try pickled radish and pickled onions. We do eat those side dishes with Korean BBQ in Korea. I was so happy to see those side dishes. Servers were great. Only complain is that grill has black coat that’s falling on the meat. You can see what I mean in my picture. Other than that everything was good and I enjoyed meal here!

Google
This place was unexpectedly good! Wish it had more food variety on its "little" buffet station. The restrooms were "alright" and a pretty clean place. I recommend anyone to come here for a bite!

I went there with my daughter for lunch ( She is only 13. I'm stating that to give you an idea of the portion sizes she would eat, and that is not very much). The only thing is it was a little too late for lunch and a little early for dinner. So, we had to pay the dinner price, $26.99/each. When I found out you have to cook some of your food yourself, my first mind was to leave and find something else to eat. I should have stuck with my first mind. We weren't really hungry enough to eat $27 worth of food....and if you made a little too much to eat, you weren't allowed to take it with you unless you agreed to a higher price. We didn't even eat that much food and they basically made us throw away the uneaten parts instead of allowing us to take it home. That is so wasteful It's not like we had a full plate of food for a full meal at home. It was 4 slices of pork belly and 1 shrimp. The vegetable and tofu were really good, the meat options were so, so. I'm sure a lot of that has to do with how it is cooked, but I'm no Korean food cook. I like Korean food, but as far as cooking goes, I'm not the one. We ended up spending about $65/plus tip for an OK to average lunch. I will definitely not visit again, so disappointed. And the servers were another thing. How come we couldn't get one consistent server ? We had like 3 or 4 different people checking on us and all with different answers as to would we be allowed to take home the portions we didn't eat. I'm sure there are better options in the area.

Google
I came here for a date with my bf, it's an awesome place to eat! The food is delicious! They also have bar which includes a variety of side dishes and meats. They also have rice, soup and sauces. It is a bit expensive and they will charge you an extra person for any leftover food(the menu has this warning), but I personally think it's worth coming!

Wenifredo L.

Yelp
Two new added buffet items. Good food and price. Difficulty with room temperature. I see floor fan for the servers. Warning: 18% surcharge for 6 or more customers.

Yelp
I am surprised by the # of 4&5 star reviews. The experience was "fun" in theory having a hot plate at your table and a selection of things to try from the buffet. But overall, the food flavor and quality was poor and not worth the $27 per person. It could have a higher end feel for a date night but it is very casual (like a couple people in PJ pants on a Friday night casual). I like that you turn the light on when you need service. There were staff coming through cleaning plates consistently. From the raw bar, The chicken was marinated in sauce and still somehow bland. The garlic pork belly and thin cut pork rib were somehow both tough and flavorless - maybe would have been better if doused in sauce. The prepared pork bulgogi was good from the hot buffet. The fried rice and kimchi rice were bland. They had a few soups that we didn't try. I appreciated the broccoli and noodle to grill. Would have preferred more vegetables as options. Our favorite thing was the dessert tea. Would purchase to have more at home if we could.

Yelp
We drive 30 minutes just to come here it is that good. I love that you can cook your own food at the table & there are already cooked foods & don't forget your amazing sides. The wait staff is always nice & on top of things. There is a ton of seating, all with cooking. They always end your meal with iced cinnamon water, it is so refreshing.

Yelp
Awesome variety of sides and meats. Pretty good price for the dinner special. And the service is pretty good as well. Probably my go to spot when I don't want to travel too far.

Yelp
Bon KBBQ is located on Cooper st in Arlington serving the community with and all inclusive serve your self style Korean BBQ experience! We came by on a Saturday morning right after 11am when they opened. We were greeted by the hostess and properly seated in a comfy booth. Inside this fine establishment the ambiance was set high in a fashionable modern setting. The tone was nice and dim with light and soft music playing in the back. The layout was extremely put together well with full bars of uncooked meat, marinated meat and a bar with buffet already prepared items. They also had a cold bar station that serves cold dishes as well such as seaweed salad, kim cheese, and mac salad. The prepared items consisted of plenty of dishes such as chicken wings, fried rice, and fried noodles and many many more to choose from! The meat station was well put together serving your typical pork belly, marinated bulgogi, and many seafood options like squid, shrimp, and mussels. There was also a soup bar that had seaweed soup with chunks of beef bone inside, miso soup, pumpkin soup, and a clear soup along with finely chopped onions for garnish. When we sat down we were also given menus with more cuts of meat! These meats were your typical beef belly, brisket, short ribs. We were told when we simply need service to switch the lamp on and server will be on their way for service. Everything went well and the service provided was superb! The prices were fair and average and the food quality was unbeatable for the prices. I will definitely come back again and try some different cuts of meat along with different dishes. The serve yourself style was great along from ordering off a menu. The meat was well marinated and seasoned and hot foods were kept hot while cold foods stayed cold pertaining to the guidelines of foodservice.

Yelp
This is my family's go to spot for kbbq in the area. We love the workers, they are always so kind and attentive and the vibe of the restaurant is great! The food is always fresh and tasty! That being said, this sounds crazy but our favorite item used to be the vegetable beef bulgogi until they got rid of it and now only have the regular beef bulgogi, I'm not sure if they've since changed the marinade or something but it doesn't hit the same? Please bring back the vegetable beef bulgogi
google avatar

Shauna C.

Yelp
Prices increased and the food is still delicious. Not sure about the texture of the Bulgogi but the spicy bulgogi was so good. Pork belly, brisket and Ghalbi. I frequent this location. I love their Fresh food bar.

Yelp
My wife and I were traveling for business and came across this restaurant via yelp. Our waiter Austin greeted us and gave a wonderful explanation of how the serving process worked and a tour of the different dishes. His excellent customer service started off our experience great. The food was good and plentiful. The cinnamon drink at the end of the meal was delicious. Overall it was a great experience.

Yelp
Oh, when it was named another name was my favorite and first Korean barbecue. Under the other name, however it began to degrade, but it was sold and The new owner has made it revive and flourish. I enjoyed all my favorites at the meat bar. There's a large selection of meats that you can get immediately or select meets and select cuts that you can ask for to be delivered to your table. There is far more salads and veg than other Korean barbecue places I've been to. There's also hot and ready food for To Go if you'd like... The wait staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is pretty and clean. I recommend.

Yelp
Excellent KBBQ spot for all your meaty needs. Came for lunch which is probably the best time to come since their menu offers all the meat options that you would want at 18.99$ to satisfy your cravings. They also have a very nice buffet line with various marinated meats, fried chicken, rice, noodles and bonchon dishes. I love it here and is the only place I go to for KBBQ.

Yelp
Yes! I go at least one or twice a month. I'm obsessed with this place. I wish there was one closer to me tho but I still drive to Arlington for this place. I have gone to a lot of Korean bbq places and the prices are insane especially if I want extra rice they charge or if I want more sides they get mad. This place is all you can eat and I absolutely love coming here. In fact I might go soon this week lol. I think I'm Korean inside ( much respect ) Try it)

Peyton G.

Yelp
Came back to see if the food was as good as i remember. Great spicy beef bulgogi, the chicken wings were crispy despite sitting in sauce for a few minutes. The intestines were not for us, but greatly enjoyed the cold side bar and hot appetizer bar. My only recommendation would be to add tofu to the miso soup and maybe some more sauce options but it wasn't damaging to the experience. Also loved the dessert drink.
google avatar

Katrina B.

Yelp
The food is delicious and flavorful! The pasta options are wonderful and there are meat options for everyone. It is a fun place for a date. I don't recommend going with people who do not know how to cook or people who wash their meats Service is nice but basic. I recommend learning Korean before you go. Bathrooms need some cleaning.

Yelp
It's becoming really hard to find good Korean Bbq in Arlington lately. The service here was ok. Nothing above and beyond. For some reason this location has changed owners/names/management at least 3 times in the past 5 years. We don't eat pork and my husband is allergic to seafood. So we usually only eat short ribs and chicken. The last time we went, it was not marinated and the meat had a tint to it. We didn't get food poisoning but we were afraid we might. We keep trying to give the establishment another chance but I think our last visit was the last chance.

Yelp
Some people won't know any better - I give two stars only for service and concept- food is horrible- the marinades and spices are dumbed down- rice poorly cooked- no lettuce or radish wraps like traditional Sam Sam and bbq Very expensive for nothing-every Korean dish on buffet was under par under seasoned- charged us $100 when they clearly saw my boys were eating- we won't be back

Yelp
Food was perfect especially since you control the cooking. Service could been better literally didn't see our waiter anymore after he got us our drinks. Overall good experience

Yelp
I had the most TERRIBLE experience at this Korean BBQ restaurant in Arlington today, and I'm beyond furious! I went there with kids, and while we were waiting for our food, my baby threw up at the table. I immediately apologized to the waiter, who at least was understanding and moved us to a new table -- that was literally the only decent part of the experience. Not long after, a hostess came over, wearing a mask, and placed napkins on our table, telling me they were for cleaning up. I assumed they were for my baby's mess since there were no napkins at the table, and my baby had vomit on both his and my clothes, plus he was exhausted from being sick. I went to the restroom to clean up, and when I came back, the vomit was STILL on the floor. No cleaning staff had bothered to take care of it, while other customers sat at nearby tables and ate. Unbelievable. Then, when I asked for the check, the same hostess handed it to me and, with the nastiest attitude, told me I had to clean up the vomit before I could leave. She kept raising her voice, demanding I clean the floor myself. She said, "You need to use those napkins to clean up the mess on the floor." I apologized AGAIN for the mess and asked if there was any cleaning staff to help, offering to pay for a cleaning fee. She just snapped, "No, we don't have cleaning staff here. You have to clean it yourself." I calmly explained, "I'm sorry, but my baby is too little, he's not feeling well, and he's clinging to me. I'm willing to pay for the cleaning, but I can't mop the floor as you're asking." She then raised her voice even more and said, "No, you're the mom, so you're responsible for your child's mess. You have to clean it up!" And then she stormed off in a huff. I couldn't believe the disrespect and rudeness I was dealing with. I called my husband to explain what happened, and he told me to just leave. Customers do not clean mop the floor especially while having little baby. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and I shouldn't have to clean the floor for a sick baby. I approached the server, who had been polite throughout the meal, and asked if he could help clean up. I offered to pay him, even though I had already tipped 20%. Then, my son stepped in and offered to help as well. In the end, the server and my son ended up cleaning the floor. I left that restaurant feeling absolutely disrespected and infuriated. The hostess not only left the mess there the entire time but then had the audacity to demand that I clean it up. It was a sickening experience, and I will NEVER be coming back. I'm sharing this on Facebook and with my friends and family so they don't have to deal with this kind of awful treatment. Welcome to the restaurant business -- you've just lost a TON of customers by treating a mom and her sick child like that. Even though I was polite and tipped well, you still managed to ruin the entire experience. Shameful.

Yelp
This was a huge letdown and my worst Korean bbq experience. First, the place is nasty and I left with my clothes and hair reeking of burnt oil. They offer more of a buffet style where the banchan and rice and soup are all self serve. All is flavorless and dry. The meat that I did order was mostly inedible and a huge chunk of fat. Unless you just love buffet style service, save your money and eat basically any other restaurant
google avatar

Cindy N.

Yelp
The grills are worn out. The concept of the buffet is okay but you can definitely get higher quality AYCE KBBQ at other locations. The service is slow because it appears they think the buffet is sufficient despite having a separate menu for "better" selection.
google avatar

Kimberly Y.

Yelp
Gave this place another chance. When we arrived the grill still looked old and torn up like before, but when we asked for a different one they were happy to change the grill to the new set they finally got. The food was well stocked, fresh, and service was quick to help. I'm happy to finally come back now, but I recommend them to just throw out the old grills.

Ed T.

Yelp
Absolutely highly recommend! Hostess and servers were very friendly! The food was very fresh and authentic! I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great value for lunch or dinner. The ambience is very nice and the whole restaurant is very clean and neat!

Yelp
Nice place for a fun new experience that has become a fave of ours after joining family a year ago. We have enjoyed returning with more family who had never been. There is a huge variety here from their raw bar where you choose what you wish to cook, the cooked items available to add to your meal, & plethora of sauces, seasoning, & traditional Korean sides like kimchi/fermented offerings. There is also a list of proteins you order from the table & several of those happen to be some of my favorites. We always request the galbi, the pineapple marinated meat, the garlic marinated pork, the wings (sauce on the side because I can't handle as much spice as my guys), & the thinly sliced brisket. The servers are friendly & come by fairly often to see if you need anything else & to swap out the grill plate for you. (Side note you can request they wait on that if you're liking the grill heat char level you've achieved so far.) You can also adjust the heat if you want it to cook on a lower temp or higher. Personal preferences shine here, so you can enjoy your meal exactly how you choose. While most seem to enjoy the grilled meats individually or simultaneously tasting along side a side dish or even in a lettuce/cabbage wrap I have recently decided my favorite way to eat it is all together creating my own unique fried rice combo, if you will. My son & hubby are much more carnivorous & prefer the bulgogis, short ribs, spicy marinated options, wings, etc. My husband also enjoys the less commonly offerings of intestines & things I'm not into at all. LOLz Variety is the best to please us all, & we defiantly get that here. Not to mention being able to cook it all to our specific desires. That's our favorite part. Pictured on the plate are all of my favorites mixed together after cooking: fried rice, bean sprouts, edamame, fish cakes, & seasoning tossed with the grilled galbi, pineapple marinated meat, teriyaki chicken, garlic marinated meat, shrimp, zucchini, mushrooms, broccoli, & carrots. I usually add a bit of oil to the grill before throwing the veggies & proteins on. Then I add a bit of salt, pepper, soy sauce, a teensy bit of spicy oil, & enjoy! On the grill you can see some veggies, teriyaki chicken, the garlic marinated meat, & the tripas (intestine my husband enjoys.) The next picture more veggies grilled on top & different meats grilling for the hubby. We really enjoy these unique marinade flavor pairings & how fresh the food always is. The after dinner delight is something I always look forward to as well! Such a refreshing end to our meal & palate cleanser.

Yelp
Great food and good service. They kept my glass full and never ran out of the foods at the Buffett

Yelp
This place is not too shabby. The restaurant is a bit sticky but it is mostly kept clean, as well as the restrooms. It is usually busy on weekends and holidays as a heads up. The servers are nice and they help explain any different foods and processes. I like their system of using lights as a way to signal the waiter. The food is pretty good, nice meat, side dishes, and soup. Their best is the thinly sliced pork, beef, marinated rib, and seaweed soup. Although I have not had a bad bad experience, it is not perfect.

Genica S.

Yelp
I love Korean BBQ, this was my first time where you order the meat from the waiter. Not 100% sure that I like that instead of being able to just get it off the buffet myself. But with the way seating is it worked out. It was a little tight. I had to keep getting up to let my husband out for veggies, so it would have been really annoying if I was having to move for him to self serve meats. The food was fresh and delicious with lots of options. We were there on a Monday and the cocktails were on happy hour. We tried a few of them but I forgot the names. The waiter was very attentive and willing to bring you extra soup base or clean the grill if needed. The reason I gave 4 is because I didn't like that the soup options were shared for the table. There were 4 of us, but you could only pick 3 soups. I like to have my own broth. Other than that, it is really pretty on the inside and I hear that you need a reservations on the weekends.

Yelp
I wish I could give a separate rating of the service and the food. Since I can't, I must give 3 stars. The service was excellent!! I would give them !! They were attentive and anticipated the needs of the guests. The food, however, leaves much to be desired. The banchan options are great. Sadly, however, the flavor is subpar. Examples: spicy tofu - tough tofu and was not marinated in the chili sauce long enough; spicy noodles had no flavor and were definitely not spicy; macaroni salad tasted like mayonnaise with the occasion sweet when lucky enough to bite a corn kernel. The cucumbers and japchae weren't bad...just not "good". Now to the meat....we ordered the LA Galbi. Unlike traditional Korean recipes in which the meat has been marinated for hours, the LA Galbi here had oil, salt, and pepper on it and was low quality meat. The "veggie beef bulgolgi" from the buffet line of raw meats cooked up deliciously! We took extra marinade and poured it over the LA Galbi while cooking in hopes of the meat absorbing at least some of the marinade. Not sure if we will return. Definitely was not worth $18 per person for lunch and there is no way I would pay $26 for dinner. My husband just made a good point to me tho --- this is a great for high school and college kids.

Yelp
Bons is good For price. They have a decent selection of premium cuts. Also have a buffet for those who don't really know what they want.

Yelp
This is my 2nd time here and the first time, we had a great time. Food was good and our server was great. Tonight was a different story. It took us 2 1/2 hours waiting for our food and the service was just so bad. Food was aight tonight, I liked my food but not sure if I would want to come back here and bring my family again. We wi

Yelp
They offered more than traditional Korean bbq places. They have a buffet that has various soups, cooked meal options to include pork bulgogi and a salad bar option The buffet also had items that could also be cooked at your table with all the other options. I didn't feel as though our waitress came around as much as I'm used to but overall the experience was good. Social distancing isn't really happening here so if that is an issue for you recommend coming during before it's crowded to give you the comfort you want to experience this location.

Jay T.

Yelp
Not worth the price due to bad service, poor quality foods and old grates that are peeling non stick coating all in your foods. If you enjoy eating toxins, come eat here. The business should invest in stainless steel cooking grates or at the very least buy new non stick ones.
google avatar

Liz K.

Yelp
It is goodish price but the food is gross. Meat is very low quality and super fatty. The buffet part was underwhelming and lacked variety. Honestly the entire menu lacked variety compared to other Korean bbq places in the city. Staff was nice.

Yelp
Great service, food was fresh and delicious, highly recommended! Our server was very courteous was checking on us a lot, and always kept our table clean.

Yelp
Walked in and loved the ambience. Had a great server named Randy and he was so nice and friendly. He provided the best experience.

Yelp
I'm new in Texas and familiar with Korean BBQ spots. Saw this place on Yelp, four stars, so figured I'd give it a shot. Well, it fell short. The meat was meh, sloppily cut like the slicer was lost. Limited meat options for the price, and the grill desperately needs an upgrade--small with paint chipping into the food. The bathroom also smelled disgusting and the floor was very slippery. On the upside, the service was friendly.

Yelp
This is pretty decent, reasonably priced AYCE Korean bbq. Korean bbq is in my top 5 favorite cuisines. I've eaten Korean bbq in LA and Honolulu, and Korea. I love the banchan, cooking my meat exactly how I want it and eating everything piping hot off the grill. Add some soju and we have a party. My brother and I came here around 5 for dinner on a Saturday. We didn't make a reservation and were seated right away. There were many other people in the restaurant. It is actually surprisingly big! We were seated near the buffet, too, so we didn't have to pass by a lot of people to get food. Unlike Gen, Jin is self serve for a lot of things. They have all the banchan and sauces on one display, and then the raw meat on another table display and a third table display with prepared foods like kimchee fried rice, and fried mandoo. There is even a side table with soups and rice. On top of all that, you can also order off the menu. They have different cuts of beef and pork. For dinner you also have the choice of ordering shrimp and tongue. The banchan were all pretty tasty! I liked the kimchee, potato salad, bean sprouts and seaweed. I liked making my own sesame oil/salt and sauces, too. I especially liked the fluorescent pink pickled radish. For meats, we ordered the LA kalbi, which is the kalbi cut I'm used to eating at home. We also got the pineapple kalbi, the pork cheek and the brisket. I would go for the kalbi; the marinade is great and the meat is tender. The brisket I like better at Gen. We ended the night with the cinnamon sugar drink, which I watered down a bit and the sweet pumpkin "porridge", which is more of a soup consistency. I didn't eat any tongue and the shrimp were just ok. I think you're better off eating here during lunch for only $15 because you get pretty much the same selection of meats for $8 less! I hope I get to come back every time I visit Fort Worth :)

Yelp
Wow wow wow! New owner! New name! So much better than before imo. The changes are good and the price is still reasonable compared to other kbbq. $24.99 AYCE but now they have menu items, very similar to GEN. Meat quality has improved, greater selection as well. They now have beef belly! Tons of sides to choose from. You can order from menu or go walk around. Very good very nice! I like it. I love the pickled radish. Lettuce cost $2, not sure why but not my problem. I do not need it. Only kbbq place i see that has fish for you to grill! Will Come back again for the good price. Ginger tea dessert was very delicious.

Loc N.

Yelp
Pros: Price is reasonable for all you can eat kbbq They have a good selection for its price Servers come by quick, you don't wait for too long at least my experience here so far They have a salad area with sides, sauces, and meet The desert drink is refreshing Cons: Sometimes they have really old/bad condition grill. I think some grill needs to be thrown out instead of reusing them Doesn't come with egg soup

Yelp
Great food best to go during lunchtime. Ambiance and Lighting is nice as well makes for a great spot to enjoy a meal. Service was good some new waiters are okay tho

Yelp
Back at it again!!! This time for my son's 13th birthday celebration! His request and we're not complaining of his choice!!! If you have a healthy appetite and ready for some meat sweats after your meal. This is the place to be!!! It'll be a nice long nap time after eating here, guaranteed!!! It's become our routine we time we come here and eat our fill!!!

Yelp
Was craving Korean BBQ and found this place the closest to where we were at. For $17.99 AYCE lunch we thought this was a good deal. The 2 fried rice they had kimchee and regular were both bland. That comment wasn't just me but my 2 grown kids. Other than that everything else was good. Meat was marinated well, service was quick and friendly definitely be back.

Yelp
First time going to Bon KBBQ and it was a good time. The waiter Austin was really nice to us and the service was nice. Will be back soon

Parking : not an issue it's an open parking lot Inside seating : there's a lot but it can deff get full and busy. The place needs cleaning on the walls for sure. Food : not really a fan, 2/5. The sides were not flavorful, tasty and really bland. Including the rice...my Filipino husband was surprised how the rice couldn't even turn out good lol. Service ‍: really good, the manager even came over to greet us. I appreciate that. If you really want Korean bbq then try it out other than that...I wouldn't return.

Yelp
We went for lunch so it was only $18 for all you can eat, I think with the drink it was around $21 before tip and dance. That's a really good deal. It looks really nice inside and they have some cool technology. Another employee was nice and helpful. The selection was very big, like 6 meets and a lot of food buffet style. I'd never had Korean BBQ before and I really enjoyed it. Tasted a lot like steak, I'd definitely recommend, especially at lunch price.

Yelp
If you were a confused by their signage, every online still appears to be "Jin" but this establishment has recently changed hands and now officially renamed to Bon KBBQ. To add to the confusion, the signage outside says Bon but on one wall painted inside it says Jin. But their menu header says Bon KBBQ. Bon is not unlike your typical Korean BBQ establishment with the rectangular grill in the middle of your table. For those who are unfamiliar, a table typically fits 4 comfortably with the center of the table cut out for a grill / cooker about (I'm guessing) 18 inches x 12 inches. This griller is used to "cook" your raw food. Here at Bon, it is all you can eat (but they do charge you $20 if you have A LOT of left over uncooked food). There is a small buffet area where you may help yourself to some typical "chinese" food such as fried rice and fried noodles, but not a big selection. Then there is the raw food section. You may help yourself to a smorgesboard of variety: shrimp with shell on, bulgogi marinated in spices, marinated sliced beef, pork, chicken, bell pepper, onions, cabbage, large sliced radishes, and much more. There's a small table with miso soup, and 2 others as well as a large pot of steamed rice (of course). Try to use common sense and don't mix your raw food with your cooked food on the same plate! Depending on what you picked out, you can start stuffing your face or leisurely start grilling your food or you can follow me (and many others) and do Both! I quickly laid out my shrimp and bulgogi as well as some veggies on the grill. In a few minutes I can already start smelling the delicious flavors as my mouth watered. In addition to the bar, they also offer some "specialized" meats that have to be "ordered" through your server. Remember it's all you can eat, but don't have any wasted uncooked meat left. Ken ordered the brisket and the thinly sliced beef brisket (Chadolbagi) and the lateral cut beef short rib marinated with house made galbi sauce (La Galbi). I don't know what galbi sauce is, but Yom Yom Yom Yom Yom! It doesn't look like much when you put it on the grill, but as it grills and the rib meat starts to shrink, I recommend you let it cook until it's very dark with a little charring. Then use a pair of eating scissors (you have to ask them for a pair) to cut it into 4 pieces. After it cools for 30 seconds, grab the boney part and just bite the meat off. There are no points when eating korean bbq so don't worry about etiquette. If you picked out something that wasn't already seasoned or marinated, there are a varitey of hot sauces and seasoning sauces at your fingertips. Ken had his own system placing his meats on a radish then carefully putting the toppings on top then carefully folding it and taking a huge bite. I was not as organized as there was food everything and I just shoved them all in my mouth in various orders. Basically in the order it came off the grill! Bon is very popular and this Friday night was no exception. It was very crowded and took about 30 minutes for us to get a table. With everyone grilling and even their vent fans running full capacity, there was still a bit of "smoke" hanging over the air like a Los Angeles haze, but you'll soon forget about that as you're adding to it from your own grill. We had a great time with the La Galbi being my absolute favorite! Thanks for a great meal, Ken!

Yelp
I really liked the meat and other food options at Jin, although I had to debate for a little while if I should give it four or five stars. If it was based upon just the food alone, I would probably give it five stars. I really liked the self-serve buffet tables, as well as the precautions for Covid, such as wearing gloves. Some of the items you could serve yourself at the buffet tables were delicious, I especially loved some of the spicy noodles and the macaroni salad that they had there. There was also some meats you could gather from there, as well as others that you could order from the server. While there was a pretty decent variety in the food options and the meats available, the price seemed pretty high compared to other places in the area. My main issue, however, was with the service. Good service is a really big deal to me, as I like to enjoy an experience when going out. Don't get me wrong, the servers were all very friendly and helpful! It was just really hard to get any of their attention and to get simple things like drink refills or more meat ordered. That was despite the dining area only having a few other diners during the time which we were there. If not for this issue, I probably would've given them five stars. I loved the food here though and I will probably give them another try and see if it's any different!

Yelp
AYCE lunch price ($17.99) on weekdays (no holidays though) is a great deal. Just make sure to call in advance to confirm pricing or be prepared to pay full dinner price ($25.99). Notes: - If you want to start fast, go with thinly sliced beef brisket (chadolbagi). - If you want to go far, keep one or two strips of LA galbi on the grill at all times. - Beef tripe is an option which is a major selling point for me. I always get tripe when eating dim sum so imagine when it's unlimited! - You might like pork cheek (hangjungsal) more than pork belly. - They're pretty quick with replacing grills, just hit the request button/switch to ask. - It's an extra $2/person for lettuce, which is a bit odd. There is sliced daikon in the form of a purple mini-tortilla shape that works just as well. - Their dessert drink is a sweet ginger rice drink. The other location in Plano has ice cream though.

Yelp
Okay, there are plenty of Korean barbecue joints around the area, with the same concept and same dining experience. What we're looking for is a place that is close by good food and good staff. This was the place. We have way too much food, you can order from the menu. You can pick up directly from the bar and there's plenty of sided to choose from to compliment your meal, there's plenty of soup and sides. So if you're looking for all you can eat Korean barbecue, just head on over, nothing special. Nothing crazy. Just good food. Plenty of food and plenty of options. Oh, and don't forget to pick up some soju

Yelp
Had a lot of fun and enjoyed most of the food there but the highlight of the whole experience was one of the waiter's named Austin, super chill and funny guy, he made the whole experience so much better especially since it was my first time going there, I would 100% go back just for him
