Bon Bon Swedish Candy is such a fun little spot in Williamsburg and definitely worth checking out if you have a sweet tooth. They sell all their candy by the pound, which makes it easy to mix and match exactly what you want. There’s a really big variety of gummy candies everything from fruity, sour, and chewy to fun shapes you don’t usually find in regular candy shops. They also have a wide selection of different kinds of licorice, which is great if you’re into Swedish or European-style sweets. Some of them are sweet, some are salty, and some have a unique flavor you don’t taste too often in American candy. On top of that, there’s a small but nice selection of chocolate options, so there’s a little something for everyone. The store itself is bright, colorful, and neatly organized, which makes it easy to pick out what you want. It’s a great place to stop by for a quick treat or to grab some candy to take to a movie or gift to someone. Everything feels fresh, and the staff is friendly and helpful if you’re not sure what to try. Definitely a cute spot for candy lovers in Brooklyn.

I've so many good things about Bon Bon and seen it online so many times, and I finally got to try it for the first time at this location in Williamsburg. The interior of the shop is super cute, decorative, and pink. They have a wide variety of candy, ranging from chewy gummies to more foamy ones to chocolate. Everything was very clean and sanitary. Staff was super friendly. I thought that the candy itself was okay. I wasn't the biggest fan of their chewy candy and thought that the chocolate quality was poor. Overall, I'm not quite sure I liked it but I can see why others would be a fan of this Swedish candy!

I absolutely love Bon Bon Store! Their candies are incredibly delicious, with the perfect softness and amazing quality. The pink packaging is so cute and makes the experience even more special. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. Definitely my go-to for sweet treats!

The staff here was so sweet and helpful! For the first time EVER my 18 year-old daughter who has a severe tree nut allergy was able to make a bag of safe candy!! They pulled out new stuff from the back just for her to avoid cross contamination. 11/10 experience. Yummy and awesome!

Wonderful candy shop. Great selection of flavors and types of candies. Keep in mind that European candy is a bit different than American style candy. I love the choices for different dietary needs. Also it's great that they don't use the artificial dyes.

My first time at BonBon was fantastic!! The shop itself was so fun and the staff were super welcoming and helpful. There were so many options to choose from so an employee helped me customize a bag of candies based off the flavors I like. I didn’t get their name but they had fun glasses, braids and a hat on, 10/10 personality. Will be back!

I don't really eat sweets or candy, other than fruits. But yeah, these are really good. I can not deny that. It would be a nice gift for sweet and candy lovers. I like their sour mixes.

This place is actually so adorable, and the candy was good! They have a bunch of little candy bins and a clean scooper bucket for you to get a scooper from. Then you get a little pink bag (so cute) and can fill it up with whatever you like. It costs $18 a pound. Some candies are heavier than others so the amount of candy you get for that can vary, but my whole bowl shown ended up being about $11. My favorites were the hearts and the peach flavor. Really cute and fun experience!! The girls helping us were super nice.

I'm not really a candy guy but my gal is and we happened upon Bonbon late one afternoon after shopping in the area. So we had to check it out. They have all types of gummy style candies with a large varieties sold by the pound. From chocolates, to sweet & sours, candy bars, assorted flavored soft and hard candies. Scoop as much as you want into a bag but be aware that it can get pricey. Everything looks delish and the store is very clean. The staff was very helpful and gracious as she offered us some free treats to take home and try out. Quality stuff and even I liked some.

Bon Bons in Williamsburg is definitely smaller compared to some of the other locations I've been to, and the selection of candies isn't as big. That said, everything is still fresh, tasty, and there's enough variety to make it fun. I really appreciate how clean they keep the store. The scoops are well maintained so nothing feels contaminated, and they make sure people don't grab treats with their hands (huge plus in a self serve candy shop!). The process is simple; you grab a bag and scoop, pick as many different candies as you want, then the staff weighs your bag to determine the cost. The candy itself is chewy, delicious, and great quality. The staff were nice too, which made the experience even better.

I've passed by this shop so many times and finally made myself go in best decision ever! Bon Bon Store has the most delicious, perfectly soft candies, and the pink packaging makes everything feel so fun and special. Great quality, great prices. My new favorite treat spot!

I came here to Bonbon - A Swedish candy store after going to a bar nearby with my friend. We both noticed this location from walking past it and decided to walk in as it looked very appealing. We both felt overwhelmed because of the options; I looked around the store and they have some pretty interesting drink items in their refrigerator. I believe their refrigerator has Swedish drinks. These candies are definitely unique and beautiful like their gummy hearts and their chocolate marshmallow bears. The service was great and quick. We both decided to grab a small bag of sweets to go and I ate most of my sweets on the subway ride home. The sweets I bought were all delicious and soft. Sometimes I have been to candy stores where their candy is hard and not fresh but this was not the case everything I tried from them were fresh and soft on my teeth. I would recommend this cute little gem of a business if you are in the area walking by. 10/10 candy shop recommendation.

It's cute here! I guess this place is famous because of TikTok. The candy is sold per pound and it is all gummy style candies. My teens were excited for me to bring home "mushrooms" but to me they tasted like bubblegum.

actually really decently priced and you can fulfill all your swedish candy fantasies here. i'm a big fan of all the BUBS! i didn't find the service to be all the friendly or engaging but it's self serve so you really don't interface with them other than to checkout. really cute, open space!

The candy is so good! I'm a candy junkie and this was worth the trip. I loved every piece of candy, except for the pineapple looking one. That's just my opinion. My favorites were the sour skulls, the mushrooms, and the red lips. My daughter loved the Coca Cola rings. The store itself is very clean and so cute on the inside. Everything is organized and kept neat. The employees were welcoming and friendly too. I'll definitely be coming back for more sweetness.

My Best friend was raving how good their candy is and suggests I go with her one day . We went and the candy was good , I enjoyed the marshmallows covered in chocolate and the baseball shaped gum. The place was friendly and clean and staff were nice . Price is a little pricey as you pay per pound but to me it's worth it . Place was clean and there is a place to put the serving spoons once you finish getting your candy . They also gave us a free soda which tasted great . Can't wait to visit again i!

I've been a longtime fan of BonBon, but somehow never checked out their Williamsburg location, despite them being a block away from La Bicyclette on Driggs. The shop is bright and colorful, with high ceilings and a little bar area too. The candy selection is fairly good though they've been out of Bubs for a while, and their licorice section is on the smaller side. I picked up some new favorites on my most recent visit, including the sour grapefruit bottles!

Came to see what the hype was about, honestly as a person who loves candy this place was alright. I would say the Sour S patch is my favorite along with the raspberry shots, they both have a nice kick of sourness. The sweet hearts had a marshmallow bottom. I was afraid the Banana Bubs would be like a laffy taffy banana flavor but it is definitely more subtle and only half of it is banana flavored. The Swedish fish are definitely less sweet than the grocery store ones and not that sour. Could skip the sour skulls and sour colas. Some of the candies are kind of hard and tough to chew. But overall it was good and fun experience to try the candies.

I love Williamsburg location. Open late, there're mini seating areas inside. I think this store is bigger than other store in Manhattan. It's located infront of B62 bus stop. (The bus goes to closer to JMZ Marcy ave) I like here because it's not over crowded every time I stop by. Across the street is cinema, if you watch the movie, I highly recommend to stop here first :p

been here a few times - you might think "overpriced candy for the tourists" - I must say - this is not the case - worth every penny - and extremely fun to visit - great vibe - the people in the store are blissed out in the best way possible - excellent service - as a licorice addict who usually resorts to the daunting task of scouring amazon for all manner of glycyrrhiza glabra related treats - this is a life saver. Highly recommend.

This location is a lot less frequented compared to the other locations I've been to! The candy here is worth the hype, absolutely delicious with fun marshmallow gummy textures and flavors, and silly shapes like a race car and teeth! Some of the bubs have come back but not the round ones yet! The interior is absolutely elegant and I love that it feels like a higher end, fancy adult candy store but still super whimsical! Bonus point for free postcards but def paying a lot more for how hard swedish candy is to come by!

I've only ever ordered delivery, but their sour mix is the bomb! Their bag has a good variety, nice and chewy, and the first sour gummy candy to actually make my mouth pucker a bit. Pricey for candy, but worth it as a nice treat! Their delivery also comes in a cute pink bag with a little post card; adds a fun whimsical touch!

While in Brooklyn, I dragged my boyfriend in here with me as I needed to try Swedish candy after seeing it go viral on Tik Tok. We both did the pick and mix as we wanted to try many different things. They had an assortment of many different candies; sweet, sour, chocolate, etc! This is the best candy I've ever tasted. It is such high quality and just so delicious. We both enjoyed the bubs the most! We will definitely be back and make the trip from Long Island!

If you can deal with the hordes of children from the local Montessori school and the TikTokers making content, Bonbon is a delightful place to visit and offers an incredible array of candy. I love all the gummy sours and the selection here is pretty broad; if you don't care as much about aesthetics, Economy Candy on the LES is the true OG classic spot for candy by the pound.

Bonbon is a nice candy shop. With a good selection of sweets . The shop is clean, candy displayed nicely, staff friendly. The only thing I don't understand is that anytime that I go to either location (Bklyn or Manhattan), they are always out of Sour Cherry flavored candy. Now I do understand that at times stock does run out, but Really ??? Sorry to say I won't be shopping there anymore. Economy Candy has a much larger & better selection, and they always restock. With outstanding Candy quality.I do know that not everyone likes Sour Cherry, but there are still a few of us who do...

The ladies were helpful and they let me try anything I wanted. The strawberries and cream chocolate covered licorice was bomb but out of my budget. I think a small container was almost $20. I ended up spending that amount but I got a good variety. Out of what I purchased, I enjoyed the peach Swedish fish, the pear bottle gummies and the Kex chocolate wafers. I'm on the fence about the Rambo water melon gummies. They were very sweet with the filing. I had caramel and hazelnut chocolates that I didn't care for. The sour pineapple gummies had an aftertaste and the raspberry lips were standard. They also sell the Frucht Kracher candies. If you like all the pink ones like I do that's a perfect way to get all the pink ones lol.

I have a major sweet tooth and first stumbled upon this place back in May and have been seeking it out ever since. It was my first time in a Swedish candy store but I like just about all candy especially gummy candy so it was a good fit for me. It's a self-serve setup with packaged items as well. You grab a bag, a clean scoop, and have at it! There are so many gummy candies to choose from as well as licorice and chocolates too. The staff here is super friendly - often giving samples of various candy. Last time I was here they had samples of a warmed mulled drink called God Jul Glögg which is similar to mulled wine without the alcohol and would be great for the holidays. Bonbon also has a Manhattan location in the Lower East Side. One can only hope that Queens will be next!

After seeing bonbon all over tiktok ofc I had to stop by.... First time I went to the store located at 66 Degraw st, Brooklyn and I didn't even have to make a line to get my candy. We step in and out in about 10 min. In this location, they did had all the good ones I wanted to try. One thing I'd like to mention is that, I was expecting to spend about 60$ in candy but that didn't happen, I can say I picked pretty much all the viral ones and I ended paying around 20$ Now, about the candy somebody told me once sweedish candy it is not for everyone and I do agree but their Bubs ones are INSANE. I won't lie I was dreaming about the cotton candy one. They are so chewy and tasty, I was enjoying every bit like if I was chewing foam with flavor LOL. After non stop thinking about the Bubs (no joking) I had to come back; this time I visited the store at 130 Allen st NY where I did have to wait for around 1 hour to get my candy. This time tho I went for what I knew I liked: BUBS and nothing else LOL. I loved that this store had bunch of much other bubs flavors, sour ones and original ones. Finally, people at both stores were incredible nice, they gave me a really nice smile and made me feel like I had all day to pick my candy. Also both stores I've visited are decorated really pretty and with lots of details. Love both of them. PS: don't forget you can ask to taste one of their special flavors they have in mason jars at the cash registers

First of all, I'm a big black licorice fan. Saw there was a Bon Bon in Brooklyn during a recent stay, and couldn't pass up a visit. The black licorice section is separate from the other gummy candies, featuring sweet, salty, chalk and all sorts. They also had different flavored Swedish fish, including sour Elderflower. Honorable mention for the green apple bottles. Worth dropping in if you're craving candy and looking for a cool variety. And open until midnight ! I'm sure I'll be ordering from the on line in the future.

Sweden has the best candy in the world, hands down. I lived there for a summer and became seriously addicted to real Swedish fish (not that garbage they sell in the States), sour gummies, Marabou chocolate, and Japp chocolate bars. Needless to say, when I found BonBon, I nearly cried tears of joy and walked out with about $40 in candy. The first store I found was in Manhattan. Then when I discovered this Brooklyn location on a random outing one day, I knew its proximity to my apartment was going to be sweet, delicious trouble. As one might guess, I've been to this shop many times. The staff are always super nice and helpful, and the shop is adorable. It's the closest I've felt to being in that awesome chocolate shop in the original Willy Wonka movie. Candy. Everywhere. Since I went to the Manhattan location first and encountered a Swedish staff member, I assumed that would be my experience at all BonBons. However, as easy as it was to talk to a Swedish staff member about Swedish culture and candy, I've discovered the BK location usually doesn't have a Swede on site (I've only encountered one lady who effortlessly knew what I was talking about). This makes asking for specific items a little more involved if the crew isn't familiar with the language or the products. That being said, it's a niche issue and not an actual problem. The regular staff, as I said, are always so helpful and try to make recommendations based on what your tastes are (at least for the pick-and-mix candies/lösgodis). If you love sour candy, prepare yourself for the best you've ever had. Swedes are not afraid of sour, and they do it so well. Try the foamy skulls, the peach lips, EVERYTHING. You won't be disappointed.

Not only is the cutest and best stocked candy shop around. but it's got soo many gluten free things to choose from and is a licorice lovers dream. We checked out this location tonight and the woman working there just blew us away with her kindness and clearly cares deeply about the customer experience. She gave amazing selections and honest heads up about some we were curious about and we really appreciate that as well. Their packaging is STUNNING and it's the best spot for something special and unique, whether for a date, gift or a little something for yourself. This is the kind of place and experience that makes NYC so special and great. We have definitely walked out more than once with about $40-$50 of candy in those gorgeous pink bags more than once but never once regretted it- it truly is the best candy and experience in the world! There is something for everyone and the aesthetics match their customer service and candy deliciousness.. It's basically everyone's inner child's dream and by far my bf's favorite place in NYC! We have tried licorice, gummies, sour and more recently, their GIANT chocolate bars and all are amazing! Their chocolate esp the mint will make you main with happiness and delight! I can't usually have licorice because of added gluten but I can here:)!! Everyone there was great but the beautiful dark haired woman was among the best I've ever seen!

Just left Bon Bon, and I absolutely love this place but the young lady behind the counter today was not friendly nor helpful. She barely wanted to answer and questions and acted as if I was bothering her, and when she answered the questions I asked, she spoke to me as if I was stupid. I usually get great service here where the ladies usually happily great you and ask if you if have any questions, but not this time.

Fabulous new spot! I was a fool for not taking photos - hopefully the owners do soon. It's a Swedish candy store owned by Swedes, and the girl working was from Malmo, Sweden, currently a student in the USA. She was so helpful and gave me recommendations and let me sample some candies as well. They have all sorts of gummies, licorice, and chocolate, including chocolate covered gummies (my favorites). They have a lot of traditional Swedish confections and are definitely higher end, but I didn't find their prices to above market even though the candy is high quality. I loved the samples I tried and am excited to really dive into the assortment I walked away with.

They are always out of pink skulls and all the skull flavors in general which is their best candy in my opinion. Overcrowded on the weekends so if you go try it on a weekday.

This is a cute place with candies that are either very excitingly foreign or nostalgically familiar, if you're Swedish. The staff are always charming, charismatic people. The store's clean ind interesting looking. The candy is amazing and its easy to spend 20-40 bucks. The banana flavored Bubs, and the chocolate covered gummy bears are the best candies they got. Theres also a solid selection of very severe licorices. I highly recommend this place.

I've been here about 3 times now. I come back for the candy which I get about once every few months and on that front it does not disappoint. However I have to say the customer service is really dismal. The first time I went - there were 3 ladies working the counter. It was in the summer and I wasn't acknowledged when I walked in. I didn't even know how the system worked so I just watched someone else grab the tongs and grabbed a bag like they did. I went up to the counter they gave me a total I paid and left. There was no other talking at all. It was not very warm. Fast forward to the last 2 times I've been there and now I know how the system works. However it's the same vibe in there. Just kind of cold and indifferent. The opposite of what you would expect from a candy store. Maybe I'll try one of the other branches to see if it's different. I saw a lady post a review in November about the customer service she received and I thought it was exactly the same as I received every time I've gone in.

Hands down the freshest most delicious Swedish candy in the world! Clean safe store friendly store staff with an amazing assortment of candies and gummies that have the most delicious flavors sweet and sour flavors and tasty marshmallows and licorice Highly recommend everyone with a sweet tooth to check out bon bon candy it's simply the best! I had received these candies in the mail before so wanted to check out the real deal. Our late-night sashay into Bonbon was greeted in a way that I did not expect: Try as many candies as you like. Long story short, the policy works: I came for some Swedish Fish and ended up with a much larger bag well worth the price. After sampling many, my favorites were the sour strawberries and caramel-filled chocolates. Will definitely be back to try more of the chocolates.
