"Korean fried chicken, fried potstickers tossed in spicy sauce, kimchi-bacon fried rice, all so good." - Thom Hilton

"Now that the lines have died down, Bonchon has dialed things in and is pumping out chicken with efficiency. Known throughout the country for the consistently crispy wings, Bonchon serves its chicken in three flavors: soy garlic, spicy, or plain. The chicken comes with a side of coleslaw or pickled radish and are well complemented by other menu items such as kimchi or fries. Located in the Clackamas Town Center mall, Bonchon is doing delivery, takeout, and dine-in with a small amount of indoor and outdoor seating." - Seiji Nanbu

"Bonchon will open its first Oregon restaurant in Clackamas Town Center, bringing not only fried chicken, but Korean dishes like bulgogi and bibimbap. Through the years, Bonchon has been celebrated by major publications and names, from Anthony Bourdain to Business Insider. The chain’s chicken is distinct from other American fried chicken traditions, double-fried for crunchy-crispiness and then tossed in various sauces — spicy (with gochugaru), soy garlic, or sweet crunch. The chicken often comes with pickled radish or coleslaw, but the restaurant also has a number of Korean and American sides — kimchi, fries, onion rings. Outside of chicken, the restaurant chain is mainly known for classic Korean dishes like japchae, a stir-fried glass noodle dish, and tteokbokki, stir-fried rice cakes. The brand has exploded since the first store opened in 2002 — The company has more than 90 locations in the United States and more than 300 worldwide." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Bulgogi tacos. Try them! Such a punch of all the best flavors! The chicken was crispy, juicy, and drenched in great sauces. Corn cheese was good. The slaw was great, not too sweet. I'll definitely be going back for tacos. Hopefully, the wait won't be too long this next time.

Google
Great Korean street food at the mall First time trying this place out after seeing reviews on here. Small place that seems like a good lunch spot. We used the kiosk to order. My husband and I have food allergies, so unfortunately we couldn't order crispy chicken, which is what this place is probably known for. (I'm salivating thinking about that crisp haha). We ordered potstickers and japchae. The japchae is a 10/10!!! Not salty and full of flavor! Highly recommend getting this. My daughter loved the potstickers. I love that they give more than four. They were out of bibimbap, so we would like to try that next time. We waited about 15-ish minutes for our takeout. This place is popular. I'm a fan of this place. Great location and lots of parking, but parking may be hard to find during busy weekend hours.

Google
Best chicken wings in town…love their spicy wings! 🔥 You get so much for your money and the wings stay crispy forever! They also have more varieties with many good options to choose from. My most fav item is the pork belly buns! Definitely recommend it!

David Lee

Google
Wow food was good. They have a surprisingly large menu. I was just expecting chicken but they have so much more. The chicken is on point and the tacos were really good. Will be back to try other item. Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Google
Is ten stars a thing!? Full on flavor and stellar service. The chicken sandwich was prepared to perfection. I loved every bite. Fabulous experience. I can't wait to go back! Definitely recommend to family and friends.

Google
Tasty fried chicken with a bunch of sauce options. The lack of combo meals outside of lunch hours is annoying, but on the flip side, it's great for large groups because you just get a bunch of chicken and share it. The leftovers also made my hotel fridge smell REALLY good, like, we bought too many fingers but I happily ate them throughout my stay. Liked that there was outdoor seating because the restaurant is a small box outside the mall that I refuse to be stuck in.

Google
They literally charged me $40 for some mcnuggets with sauce on them

Google
The food is great. Front lobby looks like a disaster and could use some thorough deep cleaning. The utensils that they give you are so flimsy you can't really use them.

Yelp
We found ourselves on this side of town and were looking for dining options. We found bon chon was located at clackamas town center. Ordered a few items. Everything was really good. They have a wide variety of options and super tasty wings.

Jason K.

Yelp
Food was great. Restaurant is straight up filthy. Owner needs to close down for two to three days and do a deep cleaning. Mummy dust on top of drink case and machines, filthy floor, random boxes, rags and random trash all over the front end. Employees sitting up on serving services. If this is a franchise location the main office needs to do a deep, extensive re-training and set minimum expectations.

Yelp
I came here again more recently after hearing about their "new" flavors (it's honestly been a while since they've introduced these, but it was just my first time hearing about it). Since they've opened they've only had the soy garlic and spicy flavors, however within the past couple months they added the yangnyeom and Korean BBQ flavors. This time, I ordered in-person and to-go. The order took about an hour to do, which was honestly a bit crazy. However, I ended up walking around the mall for a bit, so the time went by fast. I ordered the ddeokbokki, buldak, and half and half of the yangnyeom and Korean BBQ flavors. The sauce of the ddeokbokki was a bit too watery for me, but the rice cakes were nice and chewy. The buldak was good, but not particularly special. And, the wings were great. I love the addition of these flavors as it gives more options to customers and they each have their own unique taste. I would definitely come by more often now that they've expanded their menu a bit.

Yelp
Food is good but a little expensive. Courteous service a little lacking. Ordered on line, handed the food, not even a hello or thank you.

Jay H.

Yelp
This place is highly rated but I can't figure out why. The prices are very high. The fried chicken has an artificially enhanced crisp coating that almost sounds like hard plastic when you bite into it. And there's hardy any room to sit down when a few patrons are frequenting this location. I did see a few take out orders. The person who persuaded me to visit had been here on a takeout and raved about the chicken. Once you get past the hard plastic coating the chicken doesn't taste bad. Also, each of the chicken drumsticks were huge. Almost like a turkey leg. Not sure where they get these - even grocery store chickens are that big. Not going back.

Yelp
Great food Friendly service We stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon, which is the worst for parking at the mall!! We weren't visiting the mall so it's very inconvenient to stop in at these restaurants without the intention to shop as well. During any busy hours or weekends plan on walking a good distance to get here. The food was really great but the price is excessive. We wanted to try the chicken after some friends raved about it so we ordered a box of boneless with half/half bbq and garlic sauces. They were really good! Great crispiness even with the sauces poured on top. We also ordered the Korean tacos with spicy chicken and the japchae and an order of pot stickers. Every dish was served hot and tasted great! We loved the sauces. Everything tasted fresh. The dining area is big for a mall location. There were plenty of tables, even on a busy weekend day. Be prepared for the menu prices here. It's well above fast food prices. Most items start at about $15.00 and go up from there with any add ons. With 2 entrees, an appetizer, and drinks you'll be at approx. $50.00+ for 2 people. We did enjoy our meal but it won't be a place we visit on a regular basis.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Where do I even begin, the delicate wings, the excellent customer service and the perfectly sauced wings. Bonchon is one of the best places to eat out at. I also noticed one of the workers in the back working very hard.

Sidney C.

Yelp
Great spot for Korean fried chicken! My favorite is the soy garlic and spicy wings but I'm disappointed they reduced the quantity of chicken per order. It used to be 10, 20, or 30 wings to order but now it's 8, 16, 24 for the same price.

Cheol K.

Yelp
I was excited to see Bonchon here on the west coast. This pIace is legit for serving Korean Chicken Wings. The provide either a garlic soy or spicy gochugang glaze. We chose the half and half batch of wings. The double fry on the chicken wings made them so crispy! They cooked them just right so the meat was still juicy and piping hot. The glazes were a perfect mix of mild and spicy. They also give you a small container of daikon radish to serve as a pallet cleanser if you moved between the different flavors of wings.

Mariiah M.

Yelp
I love this place sm it's so good!!! The skin is deliciously crunchy & chicken is always juicy. The cashiers are always patient with me since im indecisive each time I've been. I personally have had a fair waiting time, no longer than 15min during rush hr. Always clean & nice they have water available.

Connie C.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this for a while since I love Korean fried chicken. The garlic soy wings were a lot larger than you usually find in wing joints. The flavor was more soy and hardly any garlic but were still served up warm and had a nice crunch. I'd pass next time on the teeny bowl of fried rice. The flavor was ok but had that rewarmed a few too many times crunch to it. I wish they had more than 6 tables in such a busy location as the outside of the mall with no outside options to sit (maybe they do in Summer). Get the side of sweet radish, that was on point!

Brad M.

Yelp
The customer service is key! They awesome and provide the experience that Noodles and Panera next door lack. The Katsu Chicken is killer!!!!! So good. Don't go to second rate joint at the mall with this place here!

Benjamin C.

Yelp
I got the wing combo with garlic soy sauce and it was so delicious. They packed it to go really well too. The only downside I see to this place is that it's fairly pricey and a somewhat limited menu so be expecting to spend around 15-20$ for a meal here.

Ashley R.

Yelp
i ordered chicken strips and this is the size of the chicken so sad and disappointed no way i paid 16.99 for this!! the strips used to be decent size and actually strips

Flory W.

Yelp
UPDATE: We ordered, 6 chicken wings with soy & garlic sauce, and a side of cole slaw. The chicken wings were like everybody else says: INCREDIBLE! The cole slaw was good too. I had the Bulgogi Tacos. "I can't believe I ate the whole thing!" The restroom was nice & clean. The Customer Service was OK. 'Please don't stare at the customer, with an umbrella. She's got Discoid Lupus and Shingles, at the moment. Both are not something anyone can understand, until they have it. By then, it will be too late to reverse the damage from sun damage)". The packaging for the food, were well designed! Negative: The napkins are too thin, one wipe and done! Good food doesn't mean cheap napkins!

Yelp
I dunno what happened. I usually order the Boneless Wings and they're decent but today is weird. I ordered 24 Boneless Wings half "Spicy" and half "Korean BBQ" (limited summer flavor) and what I got instead was 22 weird chicken nugget-like pieces and 2 of what is suppose to be their "Boneless Wings." I tried to look online if this was a universal change but I don't see any mention of it. After doing research, I decided to call the store and I'm not sure if the description the rep gave me was good. They said they had problems with something so that's why the Boneless Wings are turning out like "nuggets." Why did they leave me 2 of the old pieces though? That doesn't make sense. I really hope this isn't a permanent change because there is no good ratio of flavor. It's a lot of meat, less flavor, and severely lacking the "CRUNCH OUT LOUD" mentally they keep talking about. I also learned that their Chicken Strips old recipe is back? (I wasn't even aware it changed since this location opened up when the change already took place.) Also, the Summer BBQ flavor was kind of lack luster. Stick with Soy Garlic or Spicy folks.

Yelp
My review of this place is long overdue as I've eaten here so many times, I'm surprised they don't ban me from coming in for this oversight. There's so much I can write about this place, but I don't think we have time for one of my infamous mini novels--or do we??! LOL. Anyways... here's a place you definitely should try out if you haven't cuz your tummy will love you for it! FOOD: The best perfect most crunchy fries? Check! Delicious crispy favorable chicken? Check! Must-have delicious mouth watering tacos? Checkkkk!! Japchae with lots of veggies and favorable ribeye? Check!.. Bonchon is known for their chicken wings for a reason. If you're part dragon and have a fire tongue (or burnt off all your taste buds), go for their spicy wings.. LOL. I know some would say it's not that spicy, but those are the ppl who eat fresh spicy chilies with everything they eat.. haha. I'd say they're on a scale of 7 or 8 out of 10 on the spicy scale. After being pregnant, I stopped eating spicy so my spicy tolerance is on a scale of 3. In either case, you can't go wrong with the wings--they're crispy and packed with alot of delicious flavor. My 5 yo son can't get enough of their wings or fries cuz according to him, they're "sOoOo delicious--kaboom!" But my favorite has to be their delicious tacos! They're filling yet don't feel heavy. They're also refreshing cuz they're packed with so much fresh veggies. I can never decide if I like them with chicken or bolgolgi better. You honestly can't go wrong with these. I really like the Japchae too, but next time, I'm going to order them without mushrooms as I find it distracts/changes the flavor of the sauce. I wonder if I can ask them to replace it with bean sprouts instead? OoOoh.. I wish they had the shrimp shumai and takoyaki for me to try out at this location. Yummm.. dammit now I'm craving some Bonchon! Ughh.. why isn't there a Bonchon in Camas, WA?!! SERVICE: The owners of this place are on par with training their staff about customer service! This is a fast food place cuz there are no servers. You go up to the counter, place your order, then pick it up when they call your number. You can stay and eat there with a nice cold beer and a few friends.. or go home and devour it like a cave woman like me! Haha. We told my in-laws about this place. My FIL is your traditional steaks and potatoes kind of man, and it's hard to get him out of his comfort zone, but he loves their wings here. Their first time here, they ordered the soy garlic wings and fried rice. They got their chicken and waited another 5 mins for their fried rice before finally going up to the counter and asking about it. The girl at the counter realized she missed their fried rice order and apologized profusely for it. She immediately put their order in and talked to the kitchen about moving their order ahead of others. The owner (Ricky) overheard what was going on and came out from the back, took both my FIL's hands in his, and apologized for the oversight. He then told them their fried rice was comp'd--on the house. When their fried rice was ready, Ricky brought it out to them himself, apologized again, and asked them to call Bonchon if they had any problems with the food cuz it's their priority to ensure their customers are satisfied with their food and service. Now, that's what I call "service at it's best!" They've got lifetime fans over here now.. cuz not only is the food delicious but their service is right up there. Bonchon.. please come to Camas, WA!!!

Linda N.

Yelp
I ordered the chicken strips today. However, I am highly disappointed by the quality and presentation of them. The chicken strips online looks long and crispy. However, the chicken strips I received wasn't long or crispy wasn't at all. It was more of a chicken fillet in soggy sauce.

Zhi Y.

Yelp
Korean fried chicken taste better than American fried chicken. Now that is settled, let's talk about the recent boom of Korean fried chicken chains. The two that comes to my mind is bonchon and ChiMcking. They have a lot in common between them. They are both amazing. I find bonchon's fried chicken bigger but little less flavorful in the inside I still highly recommend heading there if you are around the clackamas area. Vibe: 3/5 Taste: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Parking: 2/5

Randy S.

Yelp
Decent enough double fried chicken wing. Not the biggest fan of their Korean BBQ sauce, but non-purist wing eaters would enjoy. The pickled radish chunks were delicious and palate cleansing. Not Fast food, it's about 10 minutes per order. Next time I'm at the mall, would consider their chicken katsu. 4.25/5

Phil N.

Yelp
I love Korean Fried Chicken so much, and was so excited when hearing the news that Bonchon would be coming to not only the Portland Metro Area, but to Clackamas...since good casual dining options are pretty limited in this area of town. Could have sworn I've reviewed Bonchon back when they first opened, but since I can't find that review...I'll base this one on my past 3 visits in the last 4 months. Service is pretty slow here...it takes a minimum of 20 minutes after you order to get your food, and at times I've waited 45-75 minutes. I've tried ordering online during some visits, but still get stuck waiting quite a bit. It's inconvenient to wait, but it's a small price to pay since I assume they hand bread and deep fry each meal as it is ordered to ensure freshness. Prices are somewhere between fair to slightly overpriced relative to the value. I've never ordered them in the same meal to compare the differences, but I get a bit annoyed with how their menu has boneless wings, and chicken strips...yet when you order them, both are made with breast meat. I would assume that boneless wings would be made from dark meat, since that is what wings are. So i'm a bit disappointed in this as I prefer wings and thighs over breast since they are most likely to be dry. I've had my food orders incorrect on 2 occasions and I'm drawing a blank on what those issues were, but I recall the first visit having to wait a long time to get my meal replaced since they had to fry everything to order again. The second time, I just gave in and ate the food despite knowing it wasn't what I ordered since I was too hungry to wait. Overall...Bonchon makes great korean fried chicken at an appropriate price point. The food is always fresh, and the sauce flavors are delicious. However there is just a lot of issues with order accuracy, online ordering, and speed that shouldn't happen this frequently considering how long this location has been in operation.

Juanita P.

Yelp
food is good. Staff is respectable dining room is clean. Price is a little expensive but worth it once in a while.

Maria M.

Yelp
Beware when you order from this place online! I ordered four hours ahead for pick-up. When my son went to pick it up, he was told they don't have the order. My son showed them the email and text messages with the order #. They didn't even care to look it up and just told him, we don't have that order. I called and the person I spoke with sounded like he didn't care. The first thing he said after I explained to him the situation was "we don't have your order". I told him that I have received an email and text of the order from them. Then he said "was your credit card charged". Even after I had said my bankcard got charged, he didn't budge. I had to insist that he look up the order #. He found my order but did not apologize for missing it in the first place. We had to wait another 10 minutes!!!

Mytien T.

Yelp
I've been to many bonchons nationwide and this location is by far the best one! Service is top notch, food is fresh and flavorful, and vibe is chill! Their spicy wings are to die for!! So damn spicy but eating them is like being in a toxic relationship where you're addicted to the pain and keep coming back for more. Try it out but beware, you're gonna keep coming back for more!

Kai H.

Yelp
I had the pork buns and japchae. The pork buns were awful. Instead of spicy mayo, it tasted like there was thousand island dressing and A LOT of it. The japchae was okay but extremely greasy. For the price, not worth it!

Kristina L.

Yelp
Love this place!!! Been a fan since they came to the area. Delicious Korean fried chicken, always fresh. Hot and and crispy! Really good fries too! Fast and friendly service. We often cater for parties and it's always a big hit.

Joe N.

Yelp
Love this place. The place is always consistent with my spicy wings, quick service, and a nice staff. The price is extremely reasonable compare to other Korean wings restaurants. My go to for Korean wings, tteokbokki, japchai and Bonchon wraps.

Taro B.

Yelp
When I think of Korean fried chicken, I think of the kind that is double fried in potato starch. This one had a type of heavy battered coating similar to the frozen Foster Farms chicken wings. The soy garlic was very salty and lacked any of the sweetness I was expecting. Imagine Gochujang flooded with too much soy sauce, with barely any garlic or brown sugar. Just a matter of opinion I guess, this flavor profile might be their signature, but it's just not my preference. To be fair, this is a fast food place, not a restaurant, so you can't be too picky. The pickled radishes were good. Wait was about 10 minutes, which was reasonable

Jayson B.

Yelp
One of the best fast food places but prices went up juristically. My usual order went up close to 10 fricking dollars . I would also get 5 piece chicken combo for the same price as their 4 piece chicken now. I love this place but now that prices went up , I wouldn't be coming here as often :(. This is how companies loose their loyal customers.

Nicole T.

Yelp
Food was so good plus there's was a restroom in that small space we ordered a whole lot only waited 20 because they make it fresh

Scott H.

Yelp
It's not often that I find something where I say "wow. I don't think I've had anything like this before." Those soy garlic drumsticks are something special. The outside is crispy and flavorful and it just managed to pull away from the meat a little. So you got this crispy crust and a juicy tender middle. You'll have a hard time keeping me away from those. Good thing I live on the other side of town. The boneless wings were a little dry. I was impressed with the spicy. It wasn't so much the amount of spice up front but the persistent constant volume of spice. It hits then keeps at you. The pork buns were pretty good but the drumsticks stole the show. The value is not awesome but it's a unique product

Jojo N.

Yelp
The wings are consistently really good and cooked very well. The Bulgogi fries were also really good. The tacos were okay, I would recommend skipping this one, the tteokboki was also okay, I feel like it was overpriced but it filled my cravings.

Blazin A.

Yelp
I ordered $80 of decent takeout food but the one lady that I assume was a cook was super rude. She yelled at me to "WAIT!" when I looked a my name on the receipt of my bag sitting on a shelf. That was the greeting that I received when I walked. No hello no welcome. It was "WAIT!" I was surprised. I will not come back even though the food was pleasant. There are so many other restaurants struggling that would be happy to get our business.

Wendy M.

Yelp
Love their crunchy wings and sauces. Both the Soy garlic and spicy are delicious. I love to order the pickled daikon and coleslaw to cool down the palate and the kids love their fried rice! We are addicted! The owner and staff are always so nice as well. We were excited to try them since day one and frequently visit. My 11 year old daughter loves their spicy wings!

Krista Lou ..

Yelp
This chicken!!! I am wishing there were more locations on the west side. Perfectly crispy in just the right amount of sauce. Didn't take a photo we dug in so fast!

Holly T.

Yelp
We are huge fans of bulk Korean fried chicken. Haha. We typically prefer local places, but we've been to BonChon twice now. The first time was really good. The flavors were excellent, and the meat was huge and juicy. We were quite surprised at how good it was. The price is fine for the quantity as well. Oh, and the first time we ordered curbside pickup. The person was waiting outside by the pickup when we got there! It was amazingly fast service. We didn't even know they knew we were almost there. Anyway, now for the second time. We ordered it so the kids could try it this time. Teenage boys, so we ordered a lot. Granted, it was NYE, so we knew they'd be insanely busy. And they were. The flavors were just as good this time, but the chicken looked like it had been smushed. Seriously. They were so thin and compact. This made the meat tough. Sad because it wasn't bad chicken pieces, they were just too squished. Maybe it was the dinner rush. Who knows. But we weren't too impressed the second time and probably won't go back. I'd still recommend other people try it if you're wanting some Korean fried chicken, but maybe you should go on a weekday or a day that isn't a holiday to avoid any unusual issues.

Kerry N.

Yelp
This place is AMMMAZING!! Best fried chicken ever...the soy garlic glaze is mouthwatering. The light, crispy outside is just right. Delicious crunch. A nice varied menu has something for everyone. It's straight up addicting.

jonie C.

Yelp
Food is always good. Flavor is on point. Love how the wings stay crunchy even when it's not hot anymore. Oh and the fries, omg they stay crunchy forever!! I'm never disappointed when I come here. I also appreciate their great services with friendly staff. Options of indoor/outdoor seating. I see some people complaint about parking availability. Well, what do you expect when you go to the mall? Esp a busy mall. Restaurants don't have control over that.

Lisa H.

Yelp
Yum! We got takeout here and destroyed it all. Many, many wings, some japchae and tacos. My only problem is how far away it is so I won't be back often but when I'm in Happy Valley (or vicinity) I will be back. I had never had Bonchon before and though friends had told me, I didn't believe until I tried it. I'm a Bonchon believer.

Patricia P.

Yelp
I've never been disappointed by Bonchon no matter which location I go to. My go-to order is always the soy garlic wings + extra pickled radish/daikon because why not! Korean fried chicken is my fave and Bonchon hits the spot. Their wings are super crispy and flavorful! We get extra radish/daikon because it's that refreshing. I've also tried their pork buns but they weren't that memorable to me tbh. I've always pre-ordered online and my food has always been ready by the time I come pick it up so I can't speak on wait times. If that's the case, I highly recommend to order ahead of time.

Randall M.

Yelp
First time at Bonchon today while shopping at Clackamas Town center. I really loved the bugolgi tacos. The service was fast and the food was good. We met the owner Ricky and he gave us world class service. We'll definitely come back! Thank you Bonchon!!

Nat P.

Yelp
This chicken is so insanely burnt I'm surprised they were chill serving this. Also it's pretty spendy here for the small portions

Kate C.

Yelp
I love Korean fried chicken! I usually go to Chimcking, but when I'm in Happy Valley, I swing by here. The chicken is super crispy and tasty. I prefer the soy garlic flavor. Even my grandpa enjoyed it. My boyfriend loves their spicy, but I find it too spicy for my tastebuds! Every chicken order comes with either radish or coleslaw. I personally love pickled veggies so I'm always picking the radish. They can be slow at times so I recommend ordering ahead online. I do find their prices a bit steep for chicken, but it's a nice splurge once in a while. I also found them stingy with my order. I ordered online a 30pc chicken wings and requested fork and napkins. They only gave me 1 fork. It would have been nice if they gave a couple forks or had an option online to ask how many utensils needed.

Angus M.

Yelp
I ordered a dozen boneless chicken wings. I feel like they took 4 and cut them into smaller pieces. I literally laughed that the fries were four times the space as the chicken. Don't waste your money.

Alison G.

Yelp
Last month when we were in town, we had passed by but don't actually get to try. This visit was arranged day of on a whim. This was my second time eating Bonchon and first time trying this location. Shared a medium combo amongst four of us ++ one doggo. About a 20ish min wait but this location is outside the mall so many stores around to pass time. 5 tables outside - not sure about inside as I never actually stepped foot inside. Drumsticks were HUGE! Each bite was hot, crunchy, juice, and full of fire - if you eat with their red sauce! Recommend having the sauces on the side so you can add per individual preference. The fries were crispy and seasoned, the potstickers were spicy and flavorful, and the sides served on the smaller side (pickled daikon & coleslaw). Each item was neatly packaged and conscious of ventilation to avoid soggy food. Great flavor, not too salty, and each item complimented each other. It was plenty of food for us four as average eaters but if you are a big eater, I'd recommend ordering a size up. If you're looking for dessert they serve mochi ice cream too!

Yelp
I tried to take a nice photo of the glistening chicken but after the first bite I couldn't stop eating. I finished basically 10 wings to myself.. Hands down the best Korean fried chicken I've ever tasted. Staff is always friendly. I hope they move into bigger space in the future because I wanna go there to watch games/fights, have a beer and enjoy with a group of friends. I have not shut up about this place and have told everyone I know to check it out. I always choose half and half for flavors, which are Soy Garlic & Spicy. I would recommend getting just small combo wings as they stay tender and juicy on the inside. The bigger drumsticks I notice has been getting more dry and overcooked each time I order it and the coating is just not enough for how big the drums are so I stopped getting it. I hope that can be fixed. Other than that,, bing-bong, Bonchon is lit.

Yelp
This location of Bonchon is okay. I give it three stars because taste wise it is similar to my go to Bonchon in Phoenix. In Phoenix, Bonchon is more of a dine in experience. It is much bigger, they've got servers and menus, and the drumsticks are huge. In contrast, this Bonchon is a small stand alone shop in the parking lot of Clackamas Town Center. Because of that, you are fighting for parking spaces, especially during the weekend. There is seating inside but it is pretty cramped. Thankfully they have outdoor seating as well. I always get the half and half. The soy garlic wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked but the spicy wings were perfect. The radish didn't taste too fresh but was edible. The service was great! I was given a fork to eat my meal....and forks are hard (especially to pick up the cubed radish) so I wish they gave chopsticks. Overall an okay experience! I wish there were more locations because I would take Korean fried chicken over normal fried chicken any day!

Yelp
A+ Korean fried chicken. Just like the kind I had in Korea and just like the Bonchon locations in Asia. I love the soy garlic flavor. Bonchon is absolutely the best flavored fried chicken option available outside of flying to South Korea. I prefer the bone-in or boneless wings over the strips (they just hit differently).

Yelp
Let me start off by saying Bonchon does have good chicken. But the service and the wait time that I was told is a joke. The cashier was also not clear when explaining to me what she was talking about. She told me my order would be 20 minutes. Okay cool, I'll go into the mall and do some shopping. When I got back about 20 minutes later. My order was not even nearly finished. What's the point of telling me 20 minutes if you know it would take longer? Like the least you can do is be honest, because I would not have minded if it was longer. Just let me know. As much as I like Bonchon. It taste much better in Seattle anyways. And the customer service is much better there.
