"Coming to Clackamas Town Center this August, Bonchon will open its first Oregon restaurant — a 1,256-square-foot location at 12000 SE 82nd Avenue in Happy Valley — bringing its Korean-style fried chicken and other classics. I note that the brand, which began in 2002 and now has more than 90 U.S. locations and over 300 worldwide, has been celebrated by publications and names from Anthony Bourdain to Business Insider. The chicken is double-fried for crunchy crispiness and tossed in sauces such as spicy (with gochugaru), soy garlic, or sweet crunch, often served with pickled radish or coleslaw; the menu also includes Korean and American sides like kimchi, fries, and onion rings, as well as classic Korean dishes such as bulgogi, bibimbap, japchae, and tteokbokki." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
