Columbus, Ohio, Is Where to Go Now for Great Food and Drink - AFAR

"Housed in what was once one of Wendy’s first outposts, Bonifacio is Columbus’s first full-service Filipino restaurant and bar; the convivial, tropical-vibe space is best known for its communal Boodle Nights — sisig, lumpia, and lechon spread across banana leaves eaten with your hands — and original cocktails like the Kamayan Old Fashioned made with local Watershed Bourbon and tiki bitters." - Katie Chang

The 19 Best Restaurants In Columbus, Ohio - Columbus - The Infatuation

"For one of the most entertaining dining experiences in Columbus, visit this full-service Filipino restaurant during “Boodle Night,” when they put on kamayan meals you’ll eat without utensils. Tables covered in banana leaves are topped with heaps of crispy lumpia, fried bok choy, sticky adobo ribs, glistening longganisa sausages, and, of course, garlic rice. A crisp import lager pairs well with the umami-forward food, or go for one of the bar’s tropical cocktails that have tangy kalamansi and pandan. These dinners are weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, but it’s also worth coming back another time for a la carte entrees and a weekend brunch." - erin edwards, kindra peach

Enjoyed the meal we had here for brunch on Saturday. Unfortunately, a lot of reservations in a small space, but were able to get seats at the bar and enjoyed our meal. The bartenders were very helpful and the food was delicious. My Lonanisa Silog was very good, three little crisp sausages and the egg-topped rise was good as well. I really enjoyed the ginger sauce that it came with. The wife's Bistek was good - meat was tender and the spices were well balanced. Brunch cocktails rounded out the meal - a mimosa and a Sae-based cocktail were the right combination.

Google
First time at Bonifacio, I have Filipino roots on my mom's side and was excited to visit here. Everything was excellent. Service was fast, friendly and accommodating (I eat a Halal diet and they made sure nothing had pork). Atmosphere was all good vibes. Clean restaurant and restroom. The food was delicious and large portions. Had Silog with Sisig tofu, and Ube Carioca dessert was amazing 👏 So many other things I'd like to try, will have to return soon. Salamat po!

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service was impressively fast and attentive — our food arrived quickly, yet everything was clearly made fresh and with care. You can tell the staff truly values both efficiency and quality, which made the entire meal even more enjoyable. The standout for me was the bistek entrée with garlic rice — absolutely amazing. The beef was tender, perfectly cooked, and packed with savory flavor. The garlic rice complemented it beautifully, fragrant and rich without being too heavy. Every bite felt like pure comfort food elevated with finesse. I also tried the ube espresso martini, and it blew me away. The flavor was creative and well-balanced — smooth, slightly sweet, and with just the right kick of espresso. It’s one of those drinks you’ll remember and definitely come back for. Even the adobo seasoning on some of the dishes stood out. It had so much depth and flavor — tangy, rich, and aromatic. You can tell the recipes are made with passion and respect for authentic Filipino taste. Overall, fast service, great food, and unforgettable flavors — a must-visit spot.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through town, but we will definitely need to return to dinner based on their unique dinner menu and options served on leaves (I think that is only certain nights). We ordered adobo ribs and adobo chicken. Oergectly cooked, tender, flavorful - all the good things. Even the salad was great. Portions were great. Prices were appropriate. It was clean onside (bathrooms, too). Service was overall good. Will be back!

Google
Bonifacio never disappoints. I’ve been for both dinner and brunch, and every single time the food has been absolutely delicious. The flavors are on point, the dishes feel thoughtful, and you can tell everything is made with care. The atmosphere is great too — I love the music they play, it adds so much to the vibe. Every waitress I’ve had has been incredibly friendly, attentive, and fast, which just makes the whole experience even better. At my last brunch visit, I ordered the Olympia omelette (or maybe it was the breakfast lumpia — either way, amazing) and I cannot recommend it enough. Truly one of the standout brunch items I’ve had in Columbus. Highly recommend Bonifacio for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a consistently wonderful experience.

Google
We loved the food here, but the service was a bit of a letdown. I waited 15 minutes for my order, while my husband’s came out promptly. Hopefully, the service will improve.

Google
Highly recommend reservations for dinner...the restaurant fills up quickly. Food is delicious! There was so much to try. The pork belly was my favorite.

Mosheh W.

Google
We have loved their delivery options ever since we started ordering them during the pandemic. However, we finally were able to eat at the restaurant. We were not disappointed. It is not a typical dining experience, but I'd rather not spoil the surprise. The food was excellent and the waitstaff were friendly and helpful. It is a one of a kind place, and it's worth your time, and worth repeated visits.

Yelp
Bonifacio is easily one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Columbus. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance pulls you in -- rich cultural vibes, beautiful aesthetics, and an atmosphere that feels both cozy and exciting at the same time. I've been here for so many different nights and occasions, and it never disappoints. If you can, come on one of their Boodle nights -- it's such a fun, immersive experience, and everything is served fresh, hot, and incredibly flavorful. My absolute go-to order is the chicken pyanggang with garlic rice, chili crisp potatoes, fried bok choy, veggie lumpia, and their crispy fried green beans. Every dish is packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. Another huge plus: it's super affordable for the quality and portions you get. You truly get a ton of bang for your buck. Honestly, Bonifacio is even cheaper than a lot of fast-food spots, and I would choose this place over fast food any day without hesitation. The service has always been amazing -- every server I've had has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which makes the experience even better. Seating is a bit limited and can feel tight at times, and some of the chairs aren't the most comfortable -- but it's a small trade-off for how good the food is. I also love that they have a drive-thru pickup window in the back, which is perfect when you want incredible food on the go. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We were in the area and placed an online order to go for the crispy tofu, lumpia (one pork, one veggie), and the BBQ chicken skewers. The food was ready earlier than quoted, but we received a text message giving us a heads up that was the case. We were directed to pull around to the drive thru (yes, they have one!). Since this was our first visit, I'm not sure if the place was just really busy or if it's customary to need to call to notify them that they had a line in the drive thru, but that's what we ended up having to do after 10 minutes of no acknowledgement that they were even aware that we were there. Once we got the food, it was all well packaged for travel and quite tasty with generous portions. It was really nice that you have the option of doing mixed orders of lumpia and not just one or the other. The veggie was clearly "marked" by being wrapped in a bit of banana leaf in the container. For the entrees, they both came with rice and salad, but there was also an easy option right in the order form to request double rice or double salad instead of getting both. They also have a really nice allergy area to indicate any special requests/needs, as well as a long list of sauces from which to choose. We did double rice on the tofu and the standard rice and salad on the BBQ chicken. Both the tofu and chicken were cooked really well - chicken was tender and the tofu was nice and crispy, as promised by its name! Nice corner location with a small parking lot and drive thru.

Yelp
Amazing Filipino food! Drove up to Columbus for a show and found this hidden gem for dinner. We ordered all the Filipino classics (lumpia, pancit, chicken adobo, lechon) which were all amazing. This is a modern Filipino restaurant, so found some fun add ins (green mango salad with savory shrimp paste sauce, eggplant side, ube donuts in chocolate dessert). Everything was delicious and we ordered more to go and enjoy the next day. Make sure you get a reservation and in early as it fills up fast and is a cozy spot/smaller parking lot.

Yelp
Finally had the opportunity to go to Bonifacio, & it most definitely lived up to the hype! Everything about this place was amazing! The vibes and aesthetic were spot on, and I'd definitely recommend this spot for a fun date or a great meal with friends. The service was fast and incredibly friendly! It's recommended to get a couple of things from each part of the menu and share amongst the table, and that was definitely the way to go! The chicken skewers were so tender and tangy with the sauce they were basted in; one of the best skewers I've ever had! The ribs were fall off the bone good and the bok choy had this awesome glaze on it that made them irresistible! Their cocktail menu looks great and the mocktails were totally refreshing! You need to check them out if you haven't been, and go on a Boodle night if you can!

Yelp
Great customer service here! I also enjoyed the modern take on Filipino food. I really enjoyed the chicharron Tofu. The adobo rib is good, I love that the meat fell off the bone. They give pretty big portions, I definitely did not finish it! The ube colada was interesting, the initial taste is colada and finishes with an ube flavor. It was good. The ambiance reminds me of a nightclub in the Philippines it's a restaurant and has a bar too! You can also eat with your hands if you want.

Yelp
Best Filipino restaurant in town, coming from LA. Staffs were very friendly, welcoming. We were able to be seated right away without reservations, luckily they weren't that busy. I loved the island vibes set up, it really does make you feel like you in the Philippines. Food was amazing, loved loved everything. DEf recommend.

Yelp
We found this Filipino establishment while visiting Columbus, the parking lot was packed, and the inside is modern, clean and packed with patrons for lunch. There is a take out window as well. We ordered chicken adobo and pork belly, side dish of vegetables. Great taste and wonderful service, very reasonably priced too!

Reginice C.

Yelp
I ordered delivery from Bonafacio. The entire meal was just "meh". The veggie lumpia was lacking in flavor and heavily relied on the dipping sauce. I've had many lumpia to compare it to and it just didn't hit. The spicy tofu meal was also lacking in flavor, unfortunately, I didn't finish it. The sautéed veggies side was soaked with a soy sauce based sauce, way too much and soggy. I wouldn't order from here again.

Yelp
Nice to have some Filipino cuisine in the Columbus food scene. This place is a great place to meet up with friends and eat family style. Went to Bonifacio with two friends and we ordered the chicken adobo, sizzling sisig with pork , and stir fried shrimp as well as a cucumber salad and garlic rice. The sizzling sisig was probably the best out of the three main dishes. The chicken adobo was okay, but I've had better homecooked chicken adobo. The shrimp had great flavor but the shrimp itself was not fresh, as the shell was basically stuck onto the meat. I wasn't as impressed as I was expecting to be.

Yelp
Bonifacio does not miss. In the past, I had their Boodle box before which let me sample a large portion of their dinner menu. And there is a lot to like. This trip was for brunch... and there's a lot to like. Everyone in my party of three was satisfied, not least of which me. From the Pandesal and its yummy cinnamon butter to the surprising arroz caldo (simple, small, but good), to my longanisa silog served with a good garlic rice, fried egg and side salad, I was ready to come back the same day for dinner. On my way out, I did notice that they have happy hour during the week and half price wine on Wednesdays. Hmmm...

Yelp
Food is very fresh and high quality. Portions are very generous. The staff is amazing, prompt, helpful, cheerful and friendly. I cannot say enough positive things regarding my many times at Bonafacio

Yelp
I was very surprised to find a Filipino resto in Columbus. Came straight from the airport to have dinner. Small parking space and inside, it was packed. Ate at the bar, everyone was super nice esp the bartender --- didn't catch his name but he is the only cauccasian inside the bar. I had the pork lumpia, grilled pork belly, side of mangoes, calamansi juice, the mochi type dessert & turon. everything was amazing, i wanted to try other dishes but i really can't take in more food. Def a must try when you're in town.

Yelp
Noodle night food and service did not disappoint. This is a not to miss spot for Filipino faves
google avatar

Yelp
This is not a vegan restaurant, but let me tell you, it is a VEGAN'S PARADISE if you love Asian food! Ugh! This place has so many wonderful vegan options and they are also super accommodating if you let the waitstaff know you are plant based. I highly recommend the tofu, the green beans and the potatoes. Those three items live rent free in my head. I've been twice now (literally going back two more times within the next two weeks), and the service has been stellar every time. Shout out to Alyana B and JD Vera Cruz for being lovely servers. The main dining room is always busy and full of energy, so make sure you book reservations in advance!

Yelp
Came for dinner. Left with no regrets. Mangga - 5/5 Green mango salad. Fresh, slightly vegetal. An excellent contrast to the meat and rice which are mainstays of the dishes here. Pyanggang & Inasal - 5/5 Incredible fire-grilled chicken, marinated in classic spices. These two dishes are very close in flavor profile. The inasal is a bit brighter due to its cirtus content while the pyanggang leans into the roastiness with the burnt coconut and turmeric. Either way, you can't go wrong. I do recommend having either of these with a side of the garlic rice to round out your meal. Finally, get reservations if you can. This place can get busy.

Yelp
Arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday. It was busy but we got right in. And it cleared out very quickly. We wanted to try a lot! All food came out super quick, and almost everything was cold except for the bistek, pancit, and chicken adobo. Bbq chicken skewers were warmish, and tasted good. Better than the adobo. Pork lumpia and veggie lumpia were both cold but not greasy at all and had a nice crunch! Would've liked them to be hot but still tasted good overall. Fried green beans had great sticky sauce, and tasted good but were also cold. We were not familiar with mangga so we decided to try it - it was just half a sliced cold mango with some seasoning and served with fish sauce. Would not order again. Chicken adobo was warmer than the skewers but still not super hot. Flavor was ok but we've had better. It's a thigh and chicken leg just fyi. Not a lot of meat. The pancit (with chicken and sausage) was not great. It was actually hot, which was a plus, however the noodles were chopped very tiny and it had a lot of liquid. More sauce than we are used to (my bf is Filipino) and we prefer full noodles. The bistek was the best thing we ordered. The meat was tender and it was served sizzling hot. Good flavor. I didn't think the garlic rice had any garlic in it, but apparently it was just very light. It just tasted like regular steamed rice to me. Ube donut dessert was very interesting. Crispy outside texture, with a warm almost gluey or play dough like inside. The caramel drizzle made it work. I also had the sage cocktail which was refreshing. Service was attentive and friendly. Prices are standard. All of it was around $118 before tip. Overall not bad, but could use some improvement. Would try other items later down the line for a second chance.

Yelp
Had such a great first experience here on a Boodle Night! The place is a little small and we came without a reservation so we had to wait a bit to sit at the bar, but so worth it. Definitely make a reservation though! Lumpia were delicious, and what really stood out was the meats we got. Both the ribs and the chicken were so flavorful and tender, absolute 10/10s. I would try different vegetables next time, green beans were good and had a really nice sauce, potatoes were also good, but the eggplant was severely oily. I am totally blanking on the name of the dessert we had but they were like ube donuts with an ube caramel sauce- so good! I can't wait to come back! And I'll bring more people so I can try even more of the food ;)
google avatar

Barb H.

Yelp
Very comfortable and friendly, efficient service. We each ordered the Happy Hour special which is a super-good deal so we got a cocktail, salad, main course and rice for little more than the price of the entree. Plus: everything was delicious. We inadvertently ended up there on Boodle Night* which sounded kind of iffy but turned out to be fun. I got the Pyanggang, mango salad, rice and a lychee martini. It's one of the few restaurants where the food is unique. (It was kind of dark in there so therefore bad photos). *where you eat on banana leaves!

Yelp
Don't walk, RUN!! I LOOOOVED it here! I'm originally from California, specifically the Bay Area and I was really missing Filipino cuisine that reminded me of home. Bonifacio delivered! The interior was beautiful. The restaurant is quite cozy and inviting. Our server, who was one of the bartenders, was super knowledgeable on Filipino cuisine despite not being Filipino and it made me super happy to hear him explaining the background of the restaurant. Very friendly and the other servers were also on top of their game, despite the restaurant being so busy. I ordered the Lechon -- it was so crispy and juicy and I could not put my spoon down, it was so good! The garlic rice was awesome too, my husband kept coming for my plate lol. My husband also loved the tocino silog, though he wished he would've gotten the garlic rice with his haha. A little spicy, but definitely tolerable. And if you haven't tried Kalamansi juice before, definitely try it here. So good, not too sweet but just the right amount of sour. Kalamansi juice is one of my favorites of all time, so I was super happy they had it here! Overall, I had a wonderful time here and cannot express enough the amount of joy I found eating here. If you want to try Filipino food or if you've been eyeballing this restaurant, please bite the bullet and go to Bonifacio! I promise, you won't regret it.

Yelp
This place was DELICIOUS. They don't have any reservations available for dinner so my coworkers and I came for lunch. It was amazing. We killed the food before I remembered to take a photo so apologies!! We ordered the Chicken Pyanggang and Lechon lunch plates. As well as the spicy fried tofu plate. Subbed our salads out for book choy, eggplant, and green beans. Everything - EVERYTHING- was delicious. The chicken was silky. The fried pork belly was crispy and juicy. Everything came was garlic steamed rice. We cleaned our plates. HIGHLY recommend. Place was super cute and had a great looking drink menu but we'll have to come back to try those!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was amazing!l have type two diabetes and I found delectable vegetables and savory chicken to fit my dietary requirements. To drink I had refreshing iced jasmine tea.I hope the expand. Service was friendly My dishes were not salty like traditional Filipino cuisine usually is, that they didn't even need rice! Definitely will be back.

Debb M.

Yelp
Amazing food. Sad the building isn't bigger. I have several friend groups that I would love to bring but they wouldn't be able to accommodate us.
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
The food is amazing!! Especially the chicken. The main gripe I have is that the service is really slow, and it is hard to get the waiters' attention.
google avatar

Sammi M.

Yelp
We LOVE Bonafacio. I'm always recommending it to friends in Columbus. Their food is like nothing I've had before. Quality is outstanding. Go with a group and order family style. This is the best way to try everything. The service is also great. Never been disappointed here.
google avatar

Hadley Z.

Yelp
It doesn't look like much from the outside but this place exceeded all expectations. It is a small space so definitely make a reservation if you can. We got lucky as a walk-in party of 2 but still did have to wait a bit. We visited on a Sunday night which is one of 3 weekly boodle nights. We had no idea what this meant but it just means that everything is served on a large banana leaf board. Sharing and eating with your hands is encouraged! I would highly recommend visiting on a boodle night, it was such a fun and unexpected experience. Everything we had was fresh and flavorful. Pork belly and chicken soup were my favorites. Our server was attentive and offered recommendations. I'm excited to come back here.
google avatar

Sam O.

Yelp
I ordered the lumpia and the pancit through DoorDash. Both were delicious! I can't wait to try their brunch menu someday. Highly recommend.

Kristy C.

Yelp
Modern Filipino food that will NOT disappoint! I couldn't pronounce most of the menu items, but the flavors were absolutely exceptional. My nail tech's husband recommended this place--and also suggested making reservations. So glad we did! We had a party of six, and while everyone was a little unsure about my restaurant pick at first, that changed quickly. By the time we left, we had ordered 11 appetizers, 6 entrées, and 4 desserts! The entire family fell in love with this place. What an incredible find!"
google avatar

Hanna N.

Yelp
Amazing amazing food. So delicious. Service is great and they are ON IT with food allergies. So grateful! Easy to eat DF & GF here. Thank you! Ambience is cozy and quaint. I recommend reservations as the space is small. You have to go! Boodle nights are also super fun! One suggestion for the business: do away with the tvs. The vibe is so cool in there that the TVs were confusing. Hannah Montana from the old Disney channel was playing while we were eating. You guys definitely have enough going on to where you don't need it. Anyway, go to Bonifacio!!
google avatar

Zohabe B.

Yelp
Bonifacio is a local Filipino favorite in Columbus. The rice, sides, and meat formatting for ordering works well to pair different components of a meal together how you like. Our waitress gave us great recommendations. The potatoes were crispy and flavorful and the mango was very refreshing. The sauce and sizzling veggie with the tofu packed a great punch and the banana wrapped tilapia was so flaky and rich in flavor. I can see why this spot is so beloved and cannot wait to come back!
google avatar

Alayna S.

Yelp
Always love coming here. Our favorites are lumpia, lechón, the pyanggang and the potatoes! All the veg is delicious and the staff and ambiance is great. Safe for gluten sensitive folks too! Also fantastic deal for takeout if you don't wanna dine in.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place the food is amazing. I am annoyed about the booking service. They need to fix this. I made a reservation for 10 people. Showed up and they said that my reservation was never confirmed. The reservation was made one to two weeks in advance. They were not accommodating. Very disappointed.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Bonifacio's crispy tofu meal is one of my very favorite restaurant meals in Columbus. It is perfect in it's simplicity. Fresh crispy tofu, perfectly cooked garlic rice, some kind of magical lightly sweet sauce, and sliced green onions for freshness. Done.
google avatar

Chandler W.

Yelp
I have lived in Grandview for almost 8 years and have never tried this place and I am kicking myself! From the host to the bartender to the chef five stars. Honestly, I'm gonna go there tonight.
google avatar

Heithem E.

Yelp
I had a very nice lunch there today. I hadn't visited in a few years and I'm happy to say it's as bight, colorful, just, and delicious as ever. Service was pretty efficient, although it slowed a little when it hot busy. And it got busy. Eventually they were asking for reservations - I'll keep that in mind for the future. I had pork egg rolls - nicely crisp and filled with plenty of tasty meat! I also had adobo chicken with side salad and garlic rice. The chicken was super savory and the extra sauce was silky and gelatinous (in a good way). I ate all the chicken and had to stop myself from dumping the sauce over the rice and eating it all - I would've but I was full! Almost forgot - unlocked the side salad with chunks of tomato and cucumber. You can sub a vegetable for $3 more. I got the Ube Cold Brew Latte - nice coffee with I've (a purple yam). It was rich and flavorful without being too sweet.

Yelp
Why haven't you been to Bonifacio yet??? The food is incredible! We are here on boodle night, so our table split a bunch of dishes including the bistek, sisig, pancit bihon, and more! Also ordered the pineapple lime mule, strawberry lychee mojito, and pandatini. Drinks are definitely strong, so make sure you're prepared for that:) Staff were all very attentive and kind! The restaurant vibes were also great. Loved that they were streaming Animal Crossing at the bar. Make a reservation if you can! It's a popular spot!!
google avatar

Patty D.

Yelp
Wonderful place, friendly service and great food! Ordered pork lumping and it was perfect! Also ordered the chicken inasal a and grilled pork belly. Everything was amazing, pork belly was a little tough but had a great flavor!

Yelp
Dilemma: Could not decide between tocino and fried chicken n waffles. Solution: Made tocino with garlic rice at home, ordered fried chicken and ube waffles at Bonifacio. I boxed myself in on my choices but someone has to bully me (me). No ragrats. Bonifacio's fried chicken was juicy with a crisp skin and their waffles were thicc, syrupy, and buttery. However, I also ordered the ube cold brew latte, which I felt could have used more ube syrup :/ I couldn't taste any ube at all :( I really cannot attest to how authentic Bonifacio's food is and it's definitely a bit splurge-y...but at least the portions are decently sized. It's also a beautiful place to dine, with lots of bamboo, sunlight, and cushions. Service is also very friendly! Shoutout to our server Kamrin, who left a sweet message and individualized doodles for each person at our table!

Yelp
Honest review (big on taste than visuals) **loud music (disliked), small parking lot, recommend making a reservation if you would like a table due to not many tables esp on weekends (bar seating available for walk-ins), servers are not that attentive overall despite the modern feel Modern interior design, 4 tv screens with four different things playing (too much for my personal opinion - with the music/screens seems like a sports bar) Let's get into the brunch/lunch food. I will state starting off that this is not an authentic, but more modern style of Filipino food. Coming from LA and Chicago, I knew I had to keep my expectations low. We got the Lechon Kawali Ulam (garlic rice and side salad) and The Bonifacio (longanisa, tocino, and bistek). I honestly was so excited to try this place to be disappointed on classic dishes. Presentation was there, but the Filipino taste which I cared more for was not there. Lechon Kawali: 7/10 Crispy pork: 8/10 - crispy, but over fried since some of the meaty part were dry, due to inconsistent cuts of meat - Not bad, just thick pork belly cuts that are fried Garlic rice: 6/10 - sprinkled with garlic? Could only taste the garlic like 20% of the time Salad: 6/10 - vinegary- lemony balsamic - It was okay The Bonifacio: 3/10 (usually my go to dish when I go to Filipino restaurants :(( ) Garlic rice: 5/10 - dry with subtle garlic taste Egg: - sunny side up :) Longanisa: 7/10 - not the authentic version, but a twist (tasted like a maple sausage but Filipino version), not bad - A bit overly sweet (infused sweetness?) Tocino: 4/10 - Dry brittle, a flavorless marinated grilled pork (jerky) - Disliked the texture Bistek: 2/10 - Very, very dry, not so sweet bulgogi (not much flavor) - Tasted like they kept it on the grill for hours - I gave it so many attempts, but not for me They have a large Filipino inspired drink menu (I don't drink alcohol so didn't get anything, but maybe they are known for more of their drink options?) I might give it another try for the sisig option, but never the Bonifacio dish.

Yelp
My last review was a 4, and now downgraded to 1. On account of getting kicked out so they could seat more guests, we were only there about an hour. The food was not bad, but has never gotten back to how good it was pre-covid. We have been here many times before, but won't anymore. Kuya Ian is very good food and excellent service, just not a hipster joint.

Yelp
Omg this place was amazing! Visit f from out of town and I could see why this place was popular. Food tasted good (I recommend their tofu dish), service was hospitable and ambience was chill. Looking forwards to coming again.

Yelp
One of the best brunch spots in Columbus! We made a reservation and were promptly seated upon arrival. We ordered Lechon Kawali (my favorite menu at Bonifacio) lunch meal and Fried chicken + Ube waffles. Lechon Kawali was amazing as always, although the garlic rice was on the stickier side than usual. This was my first time trying the ube waffles which was also excellent! Both portions were large and we had a lot of leftovers. I would definitely come back for brunch!

Yelp
We made a reservation for Valentine's Day and we had so much fun. The pork sisig was soooooo good. We also enjoyed the chicken skewers. We will definitely be back for boodle night!

Yelp
Very good but parking can be tricky. I'm not familiar with Filipino food, but most customers were filipino so that says something.

Yelp
I can not believe I forgot to write a review about this place. Came here after a Tik Tok I saw suggested we try it. The food in the video looked great, so we went down. I do not have enough nice things to say about this place. The staff was super friendly at every stop. The atmosphere was really chill and fun. The people we sat next to were even friendly. Now, I don't remember the names of everything we ate. But PLEASE get the BBQ Chicken Skewers. Do yourself and your mouth a favor. I would go here just to eat several plates of these. If you are in CBUS make this a stop of yours.

Yelp
Always on the top of my list whenever I'm craving for some soothing comfort food for brunch. They always hit the spot. Loaded Arroz Caldo with Pancit Bihon will always be the perfect combo.

Yelp
This is the place I will return over and over again when I'm in town! Reasonable prices and good food! I had tried lechon kawali, sisig, pancit canton, arroz caldo, tocino, longanisa, bistek and adobong chicken all delicious!!! Can't forget about the drinks OOOH BAE and Ube cold brew latte both to die for! Also Halo Halo is good except forgot to take a picture of that. Atmosphere was very welcoming. Highly recommended!!!

Yelp
We stopped in on a Friday night. It's hopping, try to make reservations if you can. There's a tropical, casual vibe to the space. The drinks were strong and tasty. We shared lumpia, super good. I ordered the new to the menu chicken ramen-like soup. It was warm and filling. I asked for some hot sauce to give the flavor a little oomph, the addition of sambaal worked well. My friend ordered the Adobo ribs with garlic rice, she really enjoyed them. My husband ordered the Pyanggang. He won the night. It was amazing, with a bright and oh so flavorful taste! They were busy so patience is recommended. Definitely come check out Bonifacio for a modern take in Filipino food!

Yelp
Lechon Kawali: 8/10, crispy pork goodness, could be crunchier if you ask me Partner ordered, Adobo Ribs: 7/10, needs more acidity Halo-halo: 9/10, has fruity pebbles Ambiance: bar+restaurant ambiance Service: 5/5 Overall experience: 8/10 (Im a little biased, Im Filipino. It is a must try for those who havent tried Filipino food yet. The taste is Americanized but it is still pretty good)

Yelp
We finally went to Bonifacio's , they do have a lot of vegan options. Affordable too , we had the Pancit bihon vegan, the chili crisp potato and the sizzling tofu sisig. 2 chai teas and they gave us free tapiocas. All for $40 before tax and tip. Needles to say we walked out stuffed and very happy. Great service too. The only drawback was the constant display of dead animals on the big screen. Overall a good experience. Maybe next time we will get take out
