"Toothsome"
Bonita Farmer's Market is a hidden gem. Undiscovered, hidden away from the bustling bakery that is Hans and Harry next door cranking strudel after strudel, pastry after pastry. What Bonita Farmer's Market does in response, should you decide to visit it's doors, is crank out a delicious variety of cooked and prepared meats.
The Tri-tip. An often dry and some would say overused but underwhelming aspect of the beef, is done right here. The tri-tip burrito they serve here is of simplicity. Meat, guac, and a little cilantro to balance it all out. The meal experience provides a toothsome feel to it, and overall provides a satisfying and satiating experience.
The Chicharron, lemme tell you, I've been trying to find a place local to my home that does it right without having to make me drive towards the other side of town for it and seems to me, like I've found it. Crispy belly with little hints of meat. Moderation here is key, but it's a great snack that doesn't break the molars here.
Overall, the market provides usual wares, it's not a crazy stocked market like the chain markets down the street, but it's quaint, simple, and easy on the eyes without feeling overwhelmed at the selection. There's also a good selection of alcohol for you fiends looking to inebriate yourselves for a party or night out. Service here is great, friendly, and welcoming. Understanding Spanish is a great plus though when visiting! But otherwise English is just fine.
