In Vegas, a Bonito Michoacán’s Menu Is a Scrapbook of the Best Dishes from One Family’s Early Days in Mexico - Eater Vegas

"Behind the chile-rimmed pint-size margaritas at Bonito Michoacán in Las Vegas’s Chinatown is an immigrant’s family story of survival and triumph. The restaurant pays tribute to the food its chef, Humberto Valenzuela, ate growing up in tradition-rich Turicato, Michoacán. The interior showcases art from Michoacán and the menu reflects some of the nostalgic greatest hits from his family’s deep catalog of 150-plus recipes." - Susan Stapleton

Celebrated my wife's birthday here. It was amazing. Very good! Love the environment. really, It was very authentic from the tables to the tunes, The fresh made guacamole. Even the surf and turf was amazing. Definitely going back.

Google
Very cool vibe in this restaurant! Loved the decor and food! Everything was pretty good! The pork fajitas were REALLY good! Table side Guacamole was pretty tasty. The live singer was a nice touch. Additional photos located on my profile page and videos on my YouTube page ( VivaLasVegasX )

Google
Fantastic options of lunch menu! Even through they have a great selection of “healthy food” (basic produce salads, grilled veggies& no rice/tortilla meals). Me as lactose intolerant vegetarian it was a struggle. To make a breakfast burrito with egg - no meat - no chorizo - and no cream / no cheese took them an hour to get it right on the second attempt… and it because it was so special it came without guacamole that we had to order a side 5 minted before we had to leave.. But the atmosphere is very Mexican. Slow service though … They had an office manager asking if everything is alright.

Came in to celebrate my brother's birthday. We were greeted promptly and sat. Our server, Miguel, did a great job putting up with our craziness. We ordered plenty of food and drinks. The staff sang happy birthday to my brother and gave him a free dessert. We even got some free pictures to take home with us. We will definitely make this a must visit when we return to Vegas! Thank you!

I had a great time at this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The service was great; it was nice and clean. The food was delicious and there were many options to choose from. I would definitely come back again. I highly recommend it.

Google
Nice off the strip restaurant with fresh handmade tortillas for our chicken fajitas. Everything was delicious and we’ll definitely be back. They are open for breakfast but you can order off of the entire menu.

Google
Probably the best Mexican restaurant I have been to. Its outside is decorative so is the inside. Customers are mostly Mexicans and the whole sea bass I ordered was great. It came with fresh tortilla, beans, and salad. Also they give chips, salsa, beans and soup to all the orders. Service was excellent.

Google
I highly recommend this restaurant! The staff from the front desk to the support staff are very professional, friendly, and attentive. We got the #1 chili relleno, chicken enchilada, and beef taco. We added a tamale on the side. We got the rolled taquito appetizer. All of it is tasteful, delicious, and great presentation. It had lots of great flavors. I had a strawberry daiquiri, and my husband had a mai tai. They were made to perfection. Richard was our server, and he was absolutely the best! He was very friendly and attentive to detail on how we wanted our food. He was always checking in on us to make sure we were happy with our food and drinks. They have festive .music playing. . They have a full bar. This is a great place for a family gathering.

Yelp
We've been coming to Bonito Michoacán for years, and it never disappoints! We arrived at 11 AM, and the hostess seated us right away. By the time we left around noon on a Friday, there was a 30-minute wait--proof that this place is worth it. Our waiter quickly brought out complimentary chips, salsa, beans, and soup, which are always flavorful. I ordered the Timo's Special A (cheese enchilada and a beef taco) from the lunch specials menu. The portions are very generous, so my mom and I shared her plate and still had leftovers to take home. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions. The service was quick, and our waiter was very kind. I also love the interior--clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, accommodating both small and large groups. I have never come here and had a bad experience.

Yelp
Just meh for me. Chips are a little hard, I like my chips crispy. The chips came with refried beans, salsa and some tomato type soup which is definitely different and not something I have ever had as a free starter. I had the combination of chicken tostada, taco and enchilada. It was just okay nothing to write home about. There was some live entertainment going on which is great. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. Three stars only because the food is just mediocre unfortunately. PS what is going on in the bathroom? It's like a zombie apocalypse happened with ten old locks removed and grates added at the bottom of the wall and door to keep things out!!!

Yelp
The waiter kept asking us every 5mins if we needed our dishes taken away. Jeez. You'd think he'd want us out. We couldn't have a conversation without being interrupted every little while just for him to ask if we were done. Leave us alone and let us enjoy our food and have convo. Why are you rushing us to leave? I found that to be really annoying. Then, the chips were stale. Not all of them. Like they mixed in fresh chips with chips I'm assuming were made the previous week. The food is really good for the most part, otherwise but dang, work on that service. Let your customers breathe.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Bonito Michoacán get ready for their large menu. You won't know what to order. Since we had such a large party there was a 30 minute wait. The server was great, explained the menu and gave his recommendations. To start off I tried their queso fundido with their hand made tortillas ( flour of course ). Really good. I also tried their mojarra frita, which is a fried tilapia that was served with a side salad, beans and rice. Also a side of their warm flour tortillas. The fish was great sis need some lime and salt but was still tasty. Overall good spot with large menu filled with options.

Yelp
Service was great, food was good and decently priced, and ambience was definitely date worthy. The music is slightly loud but good selection. I liked the table side preparation of guacamole dip.

Yelp
We saw this place on til tok. This place is a total vibe. From the moment you walk up until you leave there is so much to look at. Customer service at the front door was blah. Our waiter on the other hand was great. He recommended a few things to start with. Chips and salsa and beans are given to you to enjoy before your food arrives. Any refills cost extra. So be aware. I had a frozen margarita. It lacked flavor. Menu is large, which to me says "we don't specialize in anything". It can be pretty scary. I love me some chilaquiles with a side of alters leche pancakes. We were told the chef left and pancakes would have to be made by the owner. Now I'm a pretty gullible person but I ain't stupid...the chances of that happening I know are slim. Come on. The pancakes were the best part of all of the food. Now, let me say my husband really really enjoyed his food. So for me not to be impressed with the chilaquiles, rice and beans is weird. I've never had those three things together. I would come here again but ONLY for breakfast. Pancakes were the best I've ever had! Make sure you make a reservation before coming here. It get really full and people wait outside. I didn't take inside photos because there were tons of people. I'm really hoping I can come back and really enjoy this place soon. A MUST TRY!!

Yelp
This is hands down a truly authentic Mexican restaurant. We went on a Sunday afternoon at a busy lunch/dinner rush. The ladies behind the counter were very polite and friendly when placing us on the wait list. Our host/server was on point. He was very efficient with his time and what I mean by that is he was not pushy and let us take our time ordering, he made good suggestions towards what we were craving, he would constantly check on his adjacent tables guest as well as back checking his crew was bringing out the correct orders. When tables were clearing, the staff and him were quickly wiping down tables and chairs. I was really impressed with the service. The food was delicious I had the steak and shrimp and my wife had chiles rellenos con Cameron. Definitely worth the Uber ride from our hotel on the strip. We will be back next time we are in town.

Yelp
I've been here a few times with co workers since I worked in the area. My last visit, I stopped by because I wanted chips and salsa. I ended up eating a but more than that. Service was good and it was the bartender since I sat in the bar area in a booth. During my other visits, I sat in the main dining room area since we were a bigger party. My friends always enjoyed their margaritas. This last visit, I had the Pollo Amador. Unfortunately, the chicken lacked flavor. It was tasteless and it didn't seem like it was marinated at all. The complimentary soup had a lot of flavor and I loved it. I also enjoyed the chips with salsa and beans.

Yelp
After some years, visited this place again for authentic mexican food. Tooooo many choices! Went on a busy sunday lunch, seated after a few minutes. Place was packed! Orders came maybe after 30 minutes. Lady taking photos, you may or may not buy them.

Yelp
Beautiful tables and chairs. So much to look at. The painting, even on the outside is beautiful with lanterns hanging from the ceilings inside, decorated tables shellacked to protect them from food, and more. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is good with large portions and absolutely a good value to the money.

Yelp
upon walking in the ambiance here is beautiful. It is dimly lit, I love the decor in here and the artwork. My dad at the time was using a walker to get around and had a bad knee injury and they tried sitting us in the aisle where people walk and gave us a hard time about giving us a table with more room out of the aisle, but they did end up moving us. It's just frustrating that even needs to be explained the guac is table side and was really good and fresh. I got the enchiladas plate and it was just okay. The chicken didn't really have flavor to it but the cheese was nicely melted, I loved the way the rice was cooked and the beans were good as well not too runny. For dessert I got the churros and they were not crunchy more soft and there was filling inside. I wish there was an option with no filling because I don't prefer that. My family has a good time here but I feel like little changes can be made to help the experience be smoother next time if we visit

Yelp
I came in for a quick dinner since I've never tried this place since moving to Vegas. It will say, it was quite a surprise. The sopa de fideo was amazing and the camarones a la diabla was also great. Also as an added bonus, all tortillas as freshly hand made. If you haven't had tortillas like this, you are in for a surprise. I would recommend this place it if you're looking for a good Mexican place. The refried beans are also good along with the salsa. Two good indicators that the food will hit the spot. They have live music on the events apparently. So it fulls in the ambiance. Staff is amazing and attentive so it's worth the try.

Yelp
I am not from Vegas so I'm not familiar with Mexican food out here but everything I got was delicious. It's not authentic the way I'm used to it being from LA but it was delicious. Menudo on the other hand tasted the way it smelled so we didn't eat it.

Yelp
I love this place! So much better than the "other" Michoacán's in Las Vegas. I usually get the ceviche, which is fabulous but I wanted to try something different, so I ordered the Sopitos which is on the appetizer menu. Don't let that fool you though, there's plenty of food to fill you up. It was delicious and I will order again, maybe next time I'll try with chicken instead of the shredded beef. I was there during the afternoon happy hour which has great HH specials. The service was slightly slow but to be fair, I think the girl was newish.

Yelp
At Bonito Michoacán, I enjoyed refreshing Mexican lagers, a New York strip in green sauce, and flavorful Michoacán style enchiladas a deliciously authentic experience in Vegas! @sosalicious805 Check out my visit : https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCTFNznxqh_/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Yelp
We came back! Friday night wait time was 10-15 min. Service exceeded our expectations. Rocio was attentive and my yelp offer margarita did not disappoint! Mr's tacos were delicious and my shredded beef taco and chile relleno was fantastic. Love the musician's play list in English and Spanish great vibe!

Yelp
Bonito michoacan is really good. The food options are typical Mexican choices. I had the lunch chili Verde special which included rice , beans, tortillas, and soft drink. A great combo at a reasonable price. See pics. Lots of food and had leftovers to go. Service was prompt and friendly. Love the interior of the restaurant with painted chairs. Super neat and you will forget you are in Vegas. Lots of free parking. Pro tip: check in with Yelp for your free margarita. Actually I am a non drinker and they made non alcoholic frozen margarita which was a great addition to lunch. Check out the kitchen where you can see them making fresh hot tortillas. No wonder they were so good!

Yelp
Everything is amazing! Most authentic mexican food in Las Vegas! Parking lot is always full when driving by. Finally stopped in and have been deliciously and wonderfully surprised! The food tastes like my mom made it! Had the carne asada quesadilla, the steak was tender and juicy. Ordered the carnitas- coca cola style, and my mouth was so happy! We also ordered a combination plate with crispy chicken taco, pork burrito, and beef enchilada with rice and beans. Everything was seasoned to perfection! We also ordered flan and the deep fried banana... both great. The flan was my favorite, the custard was smooth and flavorful. They also offer a free photo for first timers, you can purchase a copy in a frame as well.

Yelp
The made to order table side guacamole and the amazing lunch special menu were great. Very cool looking Mexican decor in the restaurant but outside the lunch specials the regular menu is pricey.. There was a small hiccup with service after our server charged an additional $25 to the amount on our initial Bill. Our server claimed she had charged us for "extra items" but we didnt see what those extra items were on the initial bill. Always check your bill especially if youre in Vegas.

Yelp
We made a stop before our flight back home. We were able to walk in and get a table right away around 8pm for 3 people. Good was really good. Loved all our dishes. There was a guy singing live. We saw another table celebrating a birthday. It was very festive.

Yelp
Its so nice to finally have found a good Mexican restaurant on our side of town!!!! We have passed by Bonito Michoacan multiple times over the last couple of years, and we finally decided to stop in on Saturday. We came in as they were opening, and they already had a little bit of a line forming! We were seated right away, and given a few minutes to peruse the menu before having chips, salsa, and beans dropped off. We decided to order: A cucumber lime margarita A guava margarita The Gorditos de Camaron The enchiladas with mole (chicken and beef) The tacos: pastor, lengua, chorizo. The drinks were absolutely amazing. The lime cucumber was light and refreshing. The guava was sweet and delicious. Very happy with both. All of the food was incredible, but here are some highlights: the gorditos de camaron: I have never seen so much shrimp in a single appetizer before. This was absolutely packed to the gills with shrimp. They were cooked to perfection, extremely well seasoned, and just perfect. I honestly would return just for this. Crispy, delicious...I'm drooling just thinking about it again! Our entrees came with fideo soup, which was lovely. Its one of my favorite things ever, and this one held up. The enchiladas: the mole was amazing. Sadly, we got 2 chicken instead of 1 chicken 1 beef, but mistakes happen, and the chicken was really good. The tacos: OMG Yum. The pastor was my favorite, but I also really loved the chorizo. The lengua was not my favorite BUT: I've never had it in chunks, I've always had shredded lengua. Chunks are sadly an off-putting texture for me, but that's a me problem, not a Bonita problem. The flavor was VERY good. If you enjoy lengua and don't mind the texture of chunks, I think you'll like this. :) Service was amazing. Our waiter and the person delivering food and bussing were both incredible and attentive. We were super happy with the service. I absolutely cannot wait to go back and try more things on their menu! Huge thanks to the staff for a great first visit.

Yelp
What I really appreciate about this Mexican restaurant is its culturally centric theme in both its interior and exterior designs, recipes, and warm customer service. The family running this business puts in a lot of work to showcase their culture, and I truly enjoyed my experience. Their menu boasts a multitude of authentic family recipes ranging from tacos and seafood to soups and many more. It was quite difficult to choose from their extensive menu, but I ultimately decided to order their carne asada tacos. Priced at $16.50, which some may consider a bit overpriced, it comes with three tacos (NY Steak cut), served on a plate with rice, beans, and a side of sopa de fideo, which my grandma really loved. While the attached picture may not look as appetizing, you can ask for additional sauces to add, and I actually prefer customizing the tacos to my liking. The steak bites themselves are well-seasoned, providing each bite with full flavor. I also ordered an alcoholic drink, which was a recommended cocktail from the waiter. It was very strong, but that's how I like it. The customer service was phenomenal. I really appreciated the warm and friendly greeting with which we were welcomed. Our waiter was hilarious, entertaining guests with subtle jokes and commentary. Despite my grandparents barely speaking English, the waiter knew how to converse with them while taking their orders.

Yelp
Location: East to the strip Around 9-10 min driving distance. Ambiance: gorgeous restaurant. Mexixam deco. Family oriented atmosphere Food: delicious. Not tex mex. Tastes more authentic. Service: excellent. Ask for Lili

Yelp
Always a good meal here. They never disappoint! The service is really good. They're always friendly and fast. I love the decorations all over the place. And, you can't go wrong with any of the dishes here. They really know what they're doing. There's a good reason the parking lot is always full.

Yelp
A true dining experience. Food is authentic and service is impeccable. If you Chao in a Yelp you get a complimentary margarita (your choice whether frozen or on the rocks). Ambiance is family friendly, music in background and crowd talking around you. While seated you get complimentary chips, salsa, and beans, and a cup of noodle soup. Tried the mixed fajitas ( steak, shrimp, chicken, pork and veggies) comes with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. I picked flour (handmade) but only received to tortillas which was not enough for all the fajita greatness I attempted to conquer. A side or rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole also came with the fajitas. The food itself was perfectly seasoned, served piping hot and likely the best Mexican food I've had in Vegas. The prices are great as well!!

Raenae G.

Yelp
Food was delicious. I had chilaquiles, cinnamon coffee, and churros for dessert. Portions were a good size. Someone in my group had chicken mole and the sauce was the real deal. Went on a Sunday and there was karaoke going on. Ambiance is great - there was a birthday celebration on another table and a mariachi band serenaded happy birthday. All our beautiful servers were kind and helpful and attentive to what we wanted. This place is worth coming to.

Yelp
I love coming to this restaurant. I never wait to get seated. It does it very busy on the weekends but they have plenty of room. Can't go wrong with pretty much anything. Their carne asada is pretty good but my favorite would be their Mojarra Frita and salmon New York steak. Don't get too full off of their chips and salsa and their soup, which their fideo soup is good too. Our waiter Richard is as good as it gets. He went beyond measures with customer service. Very funny and polite, gave us a warm welcoming vibe. We had a couple of birthdays from other guests and Richard was the most vocal one to sing happy bday. And yes, Richard can sing some good notes!!! Thank you Richard for tonight!! Richard is

Yelp
Finally made it back to Vegas and ate at the restaurant. The service was a little lacking by the food made up it. The server didn't look too happy to be there, but didn't let that bother me because the food was amazing!!! The authenticity of the flavor was great. I have had many different Mexican Restaurants and by far this has to be one of best. Once you seated, they bring a chips, salad and they also give refried beans which was perfect. I hate refried beans because most Mexican restaurants use lard to make them which I hate. This one doesn't taste like it had any in it. They give you a small bowl of Sopa de Fideo (noodles soup), 1st time having it, I was blown away. Super Carne Asada Burrito with Green Sauce was very good, the it had big chunks Asada in it and it was very tender. The albondigas were very good and the meatballs were very tender. Soup had a great flavor and spices. The house margarita was made perfectly. Oh if you check in on Yelp you get a small glass of house margarita, what more can you ask for!!!
google avatar

Melissa O.

Yelp
Awesome service. Food was authentic and delicious, it had that homemade taste. With dinner you get chips bean dip and salsa. And a cup of fideo soup that just hits.

Yelp
We tried this place years ago for lunch and enjoyed the food so we decided to give them a try for dinner. This place has definitely changed in their food quality. When they brought out the chips, salsa and beans the only thing that tasted fresh was the salsa. The chips tasted stale and the beans were barely room temp. The shrimp fajita they cut the shrimp in half and there were not that many shrimp. For the price this is unacceptable and the shrimp was not seasoned. My chicken fajitas were way better than the shrimp ones and were perfectly seasoned. Their shells were very thin and dry so it took away from the fajita. I felt like every time I bet the shell my lips were white from the shell. They barely gave any sour cream or guac there was only enough for one fajita. Another odd thing is my rice was red my husband's was white. The staff were really friendly and attentive this was the highlight of the meal. For the price of the food vs the quality and amount I would dine elsewhere.

Yelp
This is such a fun place. Well decorated. Good menu with some selections unique to Michoacán and this restaurant. The food was excellent and the cocktails were good. The soup served prior to our meal was great. Service was very good and attentive.

Yelp
Great food awesome service what can I say? It is a must stop every time we're in Vegas off of the strip so you get the vibe of a family restaurant but all in all just great food.

Yelp
I was given a coupon for a buy one get one breakfast. Wow am I glad! The food was excellent! Hot, fresh and delicious! My wife and i tried Cafe De Olla for the first time. It was so good! Our waiter was attentive, polite, and professional. The restaurant's decor is an added plus to an already great experience! Their menu looks great and makes me ready to try it all! I definitely will return!!

Yelp
I've stopped in at Bonito Michoacán for lunch on several occasions, and they never ever disappoint! Although I've only experienced being in Mexico on a small handful of occasions to reference, I can certainly say that as soon as you step into this restaurant, you're immediately hit with an authentic ambiance of Mexico! The staff are very attentive and man oh man are they fast!! They do not skip a beat! Drinks & food are out in a flash! I've also never had a bad dish. Although I've tried several things, each dish has had its own unique quality. Overall, pretty good food! Lo do Michoacán is definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
This place is beautiful inside and out! Everything is decorated from top to bottom. The atmosphere is fun loud. All of the employees were super friendly as well. The only complaint I have was the food. My husband and I had fajitas and the meat was overcooked. The shrimp in mine was rubbery and flavorless. The prickly pear margarita was DELICIOUS though! I most certainly will give this place another try and explore the menu a bit to see if I like something else better.

Yelp
The decor on the outside has changed with their anniversary. I enjoyed the original look but like the new appearance also. The interior is still the same. There are lots of fun things on the walls along with murals to look at. I will say the booths are not the most comfortable seats. I would go for a table over one of their booths. The service was decent, nothing great. We had a few different people wait on us with no clear waiter. I understand there are a lot of runners to help out but this was our actual waitstaff. It was a bit confusing. Now on to our disappointing food. We ordered a number one combo plate at the recommendation of our first waiter, a plate of carne asada nachos, and cilantro steak. The steak was still good and flavorful and the rice was good. The chips, salsa, and beans that they bring to the table are pretty small & not the greatest in our opinion. The nachos were pretty darn bad. The chips were so soft, not crunchy at all. You basically had to eat them with a fork. There is not much asada on the nachos and that is fine but there was just no flavor. Even the guacamole was lacking flavor. Normally we are fighting over it but not this time. We left nachos and guacamole on our plates. The #1 combo platter was so bad. The chicken in the enchilada was tasteless and so tough. It was the worst I've ever had. The taco wasn't much better. All three of us said we should have saved half the money and gone to Roberto's. The chili rellenos were decent. I can't complain about the taste of a battered and fried pepper filled with cheese. We got a house margarita which was pretty large but super weak. I would rather have half the size and have a quality drink. I felt like I was drinking a watered down limeade. All in all we have never left that much food on our table leftover and that days a lot. We didn't want any of it. Since we had no specific waiter, we sucked it up to experience and decided that we will not come back. So disappointing because this place has always been pretty great.

JL L.

Yelp
It's a cute restaurant. Very colorful. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The eggs and house potatoes were really good. I especially liked the menudo and handmade tortillas. The prices were not too bad.

Lisa J.

Yelp
Everything was good. The service, food and staff. It was packed!!!! That speaks for itself

Angelica L.

Yelp
The food was good but the service was terrible. Was on a waitlist and waited over 30 minutes just for them to not call us even once to ask us to come in when they removed us from the wait list. The hosts are very rude and our waiter was rude as well. We felt rushed to leave and got our check before we even received our food. Do not recommend. So many other better restaurants in town.

Patty V.

Yelp
Drove to this restaurant from LA because the pictures of the food looked really good on Instagram only to be really disappointed. We ordered five different plates and we were all disappointed. The tacos were just a tortilla with meat no salsa very little cilantro on a side plate. None of their meat had flavor the al pastor was by far the worst. not authentic Mexican Al pastor. The camarones al mojo de ajo. We're served like boiled shrimp over a small bowl of melted butter with a bit of maybe garlic powder..the sopes were dry. The beans were not authentic homemade beans they taste like out of a can. Don't be fooled by the nice pictures on Instagram .

Yelp
The establishment is clean and inviting and features vibrant colors, similar to what one would see in Mexico. The staff is nice and the wait was short. Food server was polite and, after the food was served, checked on us frequently. The food is excellent and this is one of the more traditional places to find Mexican food. I was delighted they had Huachinango (Red Snapper) as it's hard to find in a restaurant. I had the tacos de lengua and they were generous portions. The beans and rice were good and I did like the sopa de fideo. If you want more traditional food, give this place a try.

Yelp
Another disappointing las Vegas Mexican spot. Anyone that gives this place more than 3 stars has never had good Mexican food before. Meat pretty flavorless. Michelada very flavorless and very disappointing. Best thing was the chile relleno. Guacamole was good but not the best.

Yelp
The bar is small but very quaint. The breakfast menu is very flavorful and has a lot of different flavors and menu items, pancakes, French toast, waffles, omelets, mole filled items, chilaquiles. Great environment and atmosphere! First time for breakfast but not the last time! Thank you Johan!!!

Yelp
Heard some good reviews about this restaurant. Tried it and it was ok. The whole place was pretty loud and smoky..from the kitchen. Service was great! Food was typical Mexican flavor. They kinda over cooked the fish cuz it was a bit tough. Flavor was savory. Margaritas were delicious. The combo plate was better than the fish. The fideo soup was really comforting and tasty! I will probably not go back cuz of the food was mediocre and we left smelling like the kitchen.

Yelp
Had a friend visit from out of town; he wanted good Mexican food. So here's an update: We ordered the Mole Poblano, which was perfectly spiced, and it was delicious! I also had the Cucumber Mezcal Margarita, it too was delicious! Surprisingly it was busy for a Monday evening, so I suggest making reservations whenever you go. Great service and great atmosphere with a live music. We will definitely be back again!

Yelp
This is currently our favorite and "Go-to" for Mexican food in the LV Valley. We've been going here a long time but recently took a break to explore other options but couldn't find anything as good or consistent as Bonito Michoacan. This is always where we bring friends and family from out of town, it's just an awesome experience. Both the interior and exterior are decorated with vibrant colors and decor that take me back to un pueblo en Mexico! There are multiple seating areas and room for large parties as well. The ambiance also does, with Mariachi and other live entertainment that makes every visit so much fun. The servers are all so very friendly and nice and if you happen to go on a birthday you will get everyone singing to you along with a free Churro and shot of Tequila! The menu is quite extensive, and full of traditional and authentic flavors as well as specials created directly from the family lineage of the restaurant. I've never had a bad meal here, and I've tried something different almost every visit! We always get the Queso Fundido to start, along with the free chips and salsa...but don't forget to ask for the salsa de Habanero! Habanero salsa is spicy and full of flavor! Some of my favorites for dinner are Pollo al Chipotle, Carnitas, Fajitas, and of course Tacos or Sopes but again...everything has been fantastic so you can't go wrong either way. You will also get a delicious cup of Fideo before your meal! I hope you enjoy this place as much as we do and visit them often!
