"A French bakery that’s a popular vendor at San Diego’s most prominent farmers’ markets has graduated to its first storefront. Bonjour Patisserie is the brainchild of founder and head pastry chef Romain Mores, whose love of cooking started in his grandmother’s kitchen in Bordeaux, France. Mores pursued a baking internship when he was in middle school, working as a pastry apprentice until moving to San Diego at the age of 21. In 2020, Mores and his wife, Marissa, launched the bakery out of a commercial kitchen, making cakes and special desserts for events and weddings and running stalls at local markets including North Park and Mission Valley. Mores tells Eater that they’ll keep up a presence at the weekly Little Italy and Hillcrest markets but their main focus will be the new Little Italy cafe that recently opened at the base of the Continental Lofts building. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until they sell out, the pastry counter is stocked with Bonjour Patisserie’s extensive selection of pastries and breads, both sweet and savory, including almond or chocolate croissants, apple or brie and fig jam danishes, and prosciutto and cheese-stuffed baguettes as well as individual and large-format desserts ranging from macarons and raspberry tarts to flan Parisien and French strawberry cake. The bakery also offers gluten-free and vegan versions of many of its products. In addition to coffee and tea, Mores tells Eater that they’re hoping to pour beer and wine eventually, allowing the cafe to offer mimosas at brunch or beverage pairings with desserts in the evenings." - Candice Woo

It was my first time here. I had ham and cheese croissant 🥐 as well as a pistachio rolled croissant 🥐 and one of their seasonal pastries a chocolate mousse pastries filled with cherry 🍒 jelly. Everything was delicious. For drinks we ordered a cold chi latte and hot mocha. They were delicious as well. I will definitely be coming back here, I highly recommend this place if you're craving sweets, even if u are on the go for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Out for my brothers birthday, we are both coffee lovers happy to always try different coffee. Especially pastries my favorite, place is small and very nice inside and outside sitting. I was amazed by all the different pastries has a small simple menu, I ordered a little bit of everything. Vanilla hot latte with oat milk and an iced vanilla latte, an iced matcha strawberry latte I forgot the names of the pastries I ordered but they are all exquisite. Happy we stopped by this morning will be coming back in the future

Cute little local French pastries. Came for some light bites and coffee. ☕️ The chef was so patient and explaining the different types of pastries, we go some for sit down with our coffee and some to go. Unfortunately our togo pistachios croissants 🥐 were eaten by the seagulls before we go to it, but i bet it was delicious! Outdoor seating for some light conversations and people watching to start our day. Recommend for dates and pictures

Fantastic ambiance, incredibly kind and professional team, beautiful and delicious pastries & drinks, what more could I ask for? I’m very grateful they offer tasty vegan options. I always look forward to visiting Bonjour! 100/5 stars! ❤️🥐

Had no plan to be here but noticed that I had never been, so why not, I figured I’d try it out and I’m glad I did. Nice store in the back streets of Little Italy with enough sitting. Their vanilla latte was great but their pastries were even better. The almond croissant was almost as good as it could get, except I wished it was warm. The fig-Brie-rosemary danish was good too, but same story. Will definitely come back. ——— Second try and still good. Pastries are great but the quality of extraction of the espresso in the latte declined slightly; is not as rich as it was last time. Hope they can stay consistent. Will come back in a few weeks and update accordingly.

Amazing pastries and presentation, not a huge selection, but very fresh and very good. Staff and atmosphere could have felt a little more welcoming/pleasant. Overall a good value. Extremely expensive though.

Let's start with the fact that the place is clean. You can see that the staff does their best to keep up with the maintenance of the table as customers come in and out. The two people I interacted with provided great service. They both answered questions, made suggestions, and showed patience. I wish they had name tags so I could recognize them. I ordered a latte and a raspberry chocolate "croissant" the latte had great flavor with a strong taste of coffee good quality coffee. The pastry was crunchy, sweet but not too sweet and it was served in a beautiful plate. I loved the detailed of fresh flowers on their tables.

Every time we come to San Diego from Baltimore, we come here first. We absolutely love this place! The pistachio cream filled pastry is amazing! Spent quite a bit of money for three sandwiches and nine pastries, but it was worth it!

Yelp
Probably the best croissant lox sandwich I've ever had! The croissant was flaky with a nice crisp, the lox tastes fresh and the smoothness of the cream cheese and avocado blended perfectly. Cappacino was made with the right balance of milk and foam. This place knows what they are doing.

Yelp
My experience is from the Little Italy's farmers market so it may be a bit different than others. I've passed by their booth multiple times in the past but never decided to check it out as there was always a line. I finally was able to this time and had a pleasant experience. Service was super nice. The employee working showed that he knew all the pastries and was able to give great recommendations! We opted for a lemon/vanilla rolled croissant and a ham and cheese croissant. The lemon/vanilla was beautiful but I wasn't blown away by it. The same could be said for the ham and cheese. Everything was good but not mind blowing I guess. There's a lot of French bakeries that have opened up in SD throughout the years and I've definitely had other ones I preferred over this. However, I would love to still visit their in-person bakery as perhaps I would have a better experience!

Yelp
Initially we drove down to San Diego for the Little Italy farmers market. We circled many multiple times to find street parking and ended up getting lucky, not only because the spot was super close to the market but also because it was right next to Bonjour Patisserie! I've been following this bakery over the past couple years due to their humble beginnings, holiday buche de noel, and other beautiful French pastries/viennoiserie. The cafe was cute inside and customer service was on point. The male employee even offered to hold our pastries in the fridge until we got back from the market (shout out to this person, I just wish I got his name!). As for what we got, I knew exactly what I wanted to try since it's been on my radar for quite some time - the white chocolate hazelnut buche de noel. A slice was $10, which given their location and the amount of work that goes into making this, I think is appropriate. There is a bottom layer of hazelnut dacquoise cake, followed by hazelnut cremeux, some chopped hazelnuts, and then vanilla mousse. This is all then sprayed I what I think is white chocolate cocoa powder. So why the 4 stars? Although beautifully constructed with the white chocolate flavor coming through, it all had one texture, aside from the couple hazelnut pieces in our slice - soft. I think the creamy layers could have made the dacquoise soggy/disappear texture wise and therefore, the buche de noel could have benefited from a "crunchy" layer between the dacquoise and cremeux/mousse or below the dacquoise, and/or a thicker layer of dacquoise. Maybe something with feuilletine or a pecan praline (the pecan could also pair nicely with the hazelnuts)? Or like a hazelnut/pecan version of what is inside of the dubai chocolate bar? Just some thoughts and feedback. Either way, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some high quality French pastries. Hopefully will be back soon to try some of their other offerings!

Yelp
This bakery is a hit, but the pastries are slightly overpriced. 7/05/2024. Trio ($12 but now $15 as of Dec. 2024): magnificent! My fave was the choco caramel tart! But the mango passion fruit tart & 9 Sicily were also worthy. I'd return for the choco caramel tart without any hesitation!

Yelp
We had different croissants everyday. They were amazing!!! We ended up only going to this bakery everyday for breakfast. There is a lot of seating. The staff were super friendly. They allowed us to use their restroom as well.

Yelp
Wonderful European cafe in Little Italy with delightful pastries. We stopped one morning for a sweet start to the day. I had the fig and goat cheese pastry with rosemary. Delicious. 100

Yelp
Mind-blowing & mouth-watering vegan pastries & coffee! Fantastic, kind and thoughtful customer service. Beautiful little cafe with street parking. I love grabbing a vegan pastry or sandwich at their shop or at the farmer's market/vegan market. I especially love surprising my loved ones and coworkers with their amazing pasties!

Yelp
I love how this bakery is walking distance from my hotel. Everything in the display looked absolutely delectable. I was hard to decide what to try. I decided on the tiramisu filled croissant. This croissant was not lacking in filling at all! They filled it to absolute capacity! The apple danish was the best I have ever had! The fresh apple slices on top were coated with cinnamon which went so well. Then there was the chef's special. The berry filling on top was bursting with freshness. It was almost too beautiful to eat! All the pastries I tired had a crust that was crisp and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this bakery. Everything is made fresh and has dynamic flavors and textures! I will definitely be returning to try more!

Yelp
Service was fast in a simple, cozy shop. Note that we tried out the pastries 30mins before closing so they were all 50% off. This also means they were pretty cold, likely because they were sitting out all day. Coldness aside, the Apple Pie Croissant was very good with a decadent Apple filling and sweet cream throughout. The green glaze swirl dances across the outside and inside of the croissant looking stunning for a picture. The Black Forest pastry had a very tart cherry flavor with one side filled with a white cream and the other filled with a chocolate cream. Both were pretty good but the Apple Pie was easily our favorite. I gave this a 4 star; maybe we would have had a 5 star experience if the pastries were fresh in the morning.

Yelp
I saw several media posts for this bakery on Instagram, and finally got the chance to stop by on a Sunday morning! - PARKING - There's limited street parking available, as it always is in Little Italy, but everything nearby is walkable so once you find a spot you can get around fairly easily! - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Very cute, aesthetically pleasing cafe on the inside and out! The ordering/display case area is a bit cramped, so if you're trying to see what items they have in stock, you may have to snake around people to see. Staff is very nice and patient, as it was our first time we needed to take a look at what we'd want. They ask if you'd like it warmed up or not, and in most cases I would definitely say get it warmed up unless you're saving it for much later. Their oven just makes the pastries come back to life perfectly! - FOOD - Raspberry Pain Suisse ($7.50): I saw this mentioned a few times in reviews and the photos made this look delicious, so I had this in mind already. I didn't think I was going to eat this so soon, so I didn't get it warmed up but I wish I did! Still super good pastry! Prosciutto, Brie, Fig Jam Danish ($7.50): This caught my eye when we were looking through the display case and this ended up being my favorite item of our visit! So deliciously flaky, savory, and sweet!

Yelp
Wow wow wow. You must go here. Cute little cafe/bakery offering both savory and sweet croissants and pastries. Also serve coffee. I was on my way to walk little Italy and I'm so glad I stopped it because it might be the best bakery I've found in San Diego. Ordered the prosciutto/brie croissant, pistachio NY roll and a chocolate/almond croissant. Made to perfection. And it's fresh. They are not stingy with their fillings and you get value for the money. Once again, they are not stingy with their fillings and you get value for the cost. Worth repeating!Staff is friendly and helpful. You can eat in, sit outside or take home. This place is fantastic and I've already placed a pickup order. Come here and try something, in fact try something sweet and savory! Get one of each and share!

Yelp
My friend bought me pastries from here as a gift and now I will have to visit this bakery myself. I tried a fig croissant - I'm not sure what the filling was but it wasn't overly sweet but still satisfies my sweet tooth. Made me a croissant fan after having countless encounters with stale/dry ones. She also got me these three little desserts that were delicious. Unfortunately I didn't catch the names but one tasted like flan, the other was like a mini peach pie, and the third was extremel chocolate but all delicious. Definitely a good gift idea or treat for yourself!

Yelp
Wow dare I say this might be my new favorite bakery. Too bad it's so far away from me. Bonjour Bakery & Patisserie is located in the Little Italy area in San Diego. I had a business event in the area and I wanted to come down early in the morning before traffic so I came here and worked for a couple of hours prior. The early bird gets the worm, and I got the perfect corner half booth seat that was next to the outlets. They had 5 small tables inside and 3 small tables outside. It's interesting that they'll have so many chairs per tiny table surface area, because I feel like I alone took up all the surface of one table. It would be cramped to squeeze in more than 2 people comfortably. I enjoyed their Pistachio Fig Filled Croissant ($10) and a hot whole milk Vanilla Latte ($6.50). AMAZING!! The pistachio fig croissant was as delicious as it was beautiful. The technical excellence behind this croissant is on mastery level. The pistachio and date flavors were very complimentary, and a new flavor combination I had not seen prior. The vanilla latte came with a cute design. They notate if you dine-in and put your drink in a mug, which I enjoy. I just wish that they had a bigger mug cause the coffee was delicious. Perfect amount of vanilla. Exactly what I needed to start my day. Honestly I had planned to buy myself a box of pastries before leaving. However I made the mistake of not buying it sooner. They got super busy and remained busy for a while... and before I knew it, it was time to head out for my work happenings. So sad... If I was here on my personal time, I would have been down to wait in the line for some more glorious pastries. I will definitely stop by Bonjour Bakery & Patisserie whenever business brings me to the area. It'll give me something to look forward to after a long drive down.

Yelp
Bonjour Bakery on Cedar Street is a charming little spot with a cozy ambiance. With just a few tables inside and outside, it offers an intimate setting. The menu is limited, but the pastries are delicious and served on real ceramic plates with cutlery which rare in coffee shops. Fresh flowers on each table add a nice touch. Service is decent, but the coffee is pricey for the small portions. Despite aiming for a Little Italy vibe, it succeeds in creating a quaint, European feel. While it's a cute place worth a visit for its pastries, the high coffee prices and limited menu might not make it a regular spot for me.

Shay M.

Yelp
The fig, brie, and rosemary danish was extra delicious, but hard to swallow at $7. Luckily he filled croissants bumped Bonjour from a strong 4, to a 5! Although it was DEFINITELY on the pricier side, $34+ for 4 pastries, the filled croissant's took the cake. Parking could be a drag, so prepare to park a few blocks away, and you'll be just fine. I got free parking near Mona Lisa and walked from there. I ordered: Rolled Pistachio Croissant $10-crispy, flaky, and all sorts of creamy inside. The cream was nice but wasn't bursting with pistachio flavor. Peep my ASMR video and let the crunch tickle your ear drums. 5/5 but I'd like it better for $9. Tiramisu Filled Croissant - The filling, a combination of two, was incredible and bursting with Tiramisu flavor. I was expecting this to fall flat but it was fantastic!!! 5/5 Fig, Brie, and Rosemary danish- I could eat these all the time, but my wallet, and belly, would pay the price. All of the elements sang beautifully in a harmonious fashion. Definitely worth a try. 4.5/5 Almond Croissant - Unfortunately, this was a bit of a letdown for me. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE almond croissants, but this one was lacking that punch of almond flavor and texture. It had a much softer texture than I was anticipating, and the filling was lacking pizzazz. 3.25/5 Great customer service, a beautiful display case, and a clean and quaint establishment. Thanks to the team at Bonjour.

Yelp
I was looking somewhere to have lunch at and it's so weird because I looked through three pages on Yelp and not once did it mention that Bonjour Bakery & Patisserie was near me! Luckily, I was looking at a different spot and saw on the map that this patisserie was literally down the street! It's been on my list ever since they opened their physical location. The interior was so lovely. The tables were minimally decorated with fall colored flowers and a neutral colored vase. They played instrumental music so conversations could take the lead in here. I seemed to come at a great time since most of their pastries were 50% off! I tried the: - SUN-DRIED TOMATO + SPINACH + FETA DANISH (originally $7.50, paid $3.75) I think $3.75 is more of a fitting price for these danishes since they were palm size! This combination was my absolute favorite. If they had more, I would have ordered 2! The lady working there heated it up for me perfectly. I liked how the spinach wasn't super watery nor was it super dried out! The flavors worked really well together. 5/5. - POTATO + RACLETTE + CORNICHON DANISH! This was originally $8, but I got it for $4.00. I first saw this on Instagram, I loved the format of the video and their process of baking this. When I saw it on the counter today, it looked a little lackluster because the cornichons didn't have their vibrant color to them. They looked as though they were baked in the oven because it was shriveled a bit. This Danish felt more dry overall. I did like the flavor combination: potato and cheese, works well together. I wish the cornichons still had their vibrant crunch and vinegary oomph to them! The danish desperately needed that lift! 3/5. Nearing 3pm there were more people coming in! I noticed many people ordering the filled croissants and enjoying it so I figured I'd order some too to bring home. (And they are 50% off! So why not?). And while I was thinking they were running out of items, the worker went to the back and brought out more (restocked!!). What I liked a lot about this patisserie was that they had these stationary fans going in a fast motion above the pastries on the counter to eliminate flies from landing on or near them. I went back up to order: APPLE PIE FILLED CROISSANT! (Originally $10, but I paid $5!! What a steal-- that 50% came in clutch...this price is cheaper than what you'll pay for at other bakeries where a filled croissant will usually range between $7-9) I believe they had seasonal filled croissants, so the choice was between pumpkin and apple. Of course, we know, I strongly dislike pumpkin-- so I went with the apple and I am so glad that I did. Because oh my god... this was the best filled croissant I've EVER had!! Other places overfill to the brim -- to the point that the croissant will weigh 5 pounds in their hand and the beautiful croissant layers will no longer exist-- just becoming a dense brick. Ok, but not at Bonjour Bakery & Patisserie!! This apple pie croissant is filled with perfect precision, not too much. It's not too sweet and there was a nice tart apple purée inside as well. The cream looked as though it was just vanilla bean, but when you tasted it...it was reminiscent of having a bite of apple pie! You get the apple, the warm spices, the vanilla bean.. it is so delicious. You can even see the soft flaky layers on the interior of the croissant. There was a lovely exterior flake as well. No rating needed, just order this before it's gone!! In addition, the lady working there gave me a free vanilla + hazelnut rolled croissant. She said it's one that she really enjoys. My brother said the presentation of it looked incredible. It has a beautiful and even golden color to it. Perfectly round and you can see a BUNCH of layers! It is partially dipped in a white chocolate glaze with some toasted tiny bits of hazelnut. I can't exactly put my finger on what it is! There's vanilla bean cream as well as some hazelnut... I'm not sure if I'm tasting chocolate or imagining it. It's pretty good, but a tad too sweet for me. I think this would pair well with a hot latte or cappuccino! 4/5. I highly recommend coming by here in the morning or afternoon for some delicious pastries! They have a good array of savory & sweet items and even coffee. You can ask to have it "for here" and you'll get served with real silverware and plates/cups! They DO accept cash or card! And they have a little water cup station if you're thirsty, but what they don't have is a restroom. This is a nice spot to come solo, on a date, with friends, or family! I was very happy with my time here at Bonjour Bakery & Patisserie and I hope that you'll enjoy it too!

Neil V.

Yelp
The croissants are amazing! The interior and decor and dishware are all very aesthetic and picturesque. I loved the dried flowers/vases decor on top of each table! The service is friendly and they bring your food and drinks over to you!

Janet S.

Yelp
The parties all look amazing. I tried the apple danish. It was very good and had a nice layer of cream under the apples. The pastry was nicely layered. They only have a choice of 4 teas with only 1 herbal and 1 decaf. The cups for the tea are rather small and it was not enough. There really isn't any 'service'. They bring the order to you. There wasn't any sign up that notified you of any gluten free or sensitive options. This was disappointing. Thanks to Yelp for letting me know of that option. On a Sunday morning, there is a constant line. The tables aren't bussed very frequently. It can be hard to find a table inside or out. It is the food that draws the crowd.

Daniella S.

Yelp
Ohh I love it here! I've tried a few pastries and I always recommend. The rolled croissants are huge and filling , I love the raspberry filled one, pistachio and Oreo. My mom loved the Brie & fig croissant. It's worth trying whatever pops out at you. Very delicious Parking is limited, but paid lot in behind the place. Seating is small but available inside and outside.

Matthew H.

Yelp
We needed our Italian coffee and pastry fix and found it at Bonjour Patisserie (yes, I know it's French) on the edge of the Little Italy neighborhood in the city. Hot cappuccino with an apple cream filled croissant and a hazelnut cream filled treat for my wife is the best way to start the day. Try them out. Super friendly and fast service.

Yelp
Stepping into Bonjour Bakery & Patisserie in Little Italy, San Diego, felt like being whisked away to a charming European café. The ambiance is quaint and inviting, reminiscent of the cozy bakeries you'd find on a picturesque street corner. Our visit was an absolute delight. The aroma of freshly baked pastries greeted us, setting the stage for a truly authentic experience. We ordered an Almond Croissant, Cold Brew, Cappuccino, and my personal favorite, the Rolled Pistachio Croissant. Each item was a testament to the bakery's dedication to quality and tradition. The Almond Croissant was a flaky, buttery delight, generously filled with a rich almond paste that struck the perfect balance of sweetness. The Cold Brew was refreshing and robust, a perfect complement to the pastries. The Cappuccino was expertly crafted, with a velvety foam that brought back fond memories of leisurely coffee breaks. The star of our visit, however, was the Rolled Pistachio Croissant. It was an exquisite blend of flavors and textures, with the pistachio filling adding a unique twist to the classic croissant. Every bite was a harmonious blend of nutty richness and buttery pastry, making it an unforgettable treat. Bonjour Bakery & Patisserie offers more than just food; it provides an experience. Whether you're looking for a perfect morning treat or a leisurely afternoon indulgence, this bakery delivers a little piece of Europe right in the heart of San Diego.

Tian W.

Yelp
A sleek and modern bakery serving some amazing croissants and danishes. All of the pastries we got were super flakey and buttery, each paired with great complementary toppings/fillings. Of the bunch, my favorite was the brie and fig jam danish, but nothing was a miss. The cappuccino was perfect with smooth and silky milk foam and a funny mug! There is lots of seating indoors, though it was quite crowded when we went on a late Sunday morning. We were lucky to grab a table outdoors, though there is not much sound or wind protection out there as we were just on the sidewalk. Overall still a really nice place to grab a coffee and pastry. I'd definitely be a regular here if I lived in the area

Kristelle B.

Yelp
Cute new patisserie in Little Italy. Their location is amazing and we didn't have a problem finding seats despite it being a busy morning. They have a variety of both savory and sweet pastries. We got to try their fig & prosciutto danish and pan au chocolat with custard and both were delicious! I appreciate a patisserie that has a good selection of goods. Coffee was good as well. I appreciate a place that still serves everything in dishes and glasswares because most places seem to just serve everything in disposable boxes. It adds to the whole charm of their beautiful space.

Mal T.

Yelp
I am so happy they've opened a storefront! I've tried bonjour's pastries when they've sold at Civita farmer's market and have been in love ever since. Their savory pastries are some of fave. My friend and I stopped in and tried the cream cheese Pepperoncini croissant and the fig prosciutto danish. They were both incredibly flakey and delicious with our coffees. Service was great and prompt. Parking not great as expected for the area. Cutest little shop with tables inside and out. Will definitely be back to try more!

Hannah C.

Yelp
Love the ambiance and was quite busy for a Saturday morning! The tables clear quickly, so our party was able to sit down and enjoy our pastries!! The mango and passion fruit croissants were so full of flavor and vibrance, and the layers were perfectly thin and crispy! Great cafe and super tasty treats, definitely coming again for more!

Rheina C.

Yelp
Was just walking around by the area where we were staying and saw that this place had a line going. I had time and normally a line is a good sign. Was helped out by the staff immediately. Wish I had gotten his name because he was friendly and very helpful! This place is a cute little cafe, limited seating inside, but has more tables on the outside. Tried the recommend sweet and savory croissants.. and the line made sense! The croissants were so buttery and fluffy and every one I tried were packed with flavor! The tomato mozzarella croissant was delicious! However, it does have pesto which can be made with pine nuts. If you are concerned with any nut allergy, I would steer clear just to be safe. The tiramisu croissant was also really good and had tons of filling in there so be prepared! Overall great experience and great pastries!!

Jack M.

Yelp
I've been visiting Bonjour for a while now, mostly at the farmer's markets and such, but I am sure happy to learn that they have their brick and motor up and running in Little Italy. I had a cortado and a ham and cheese croissant on my first visit. The cortado was very well made with a smooth and rich coffee flavor. The ham and cheese croissant was very tasty and offered great texture. I liked that they heated it up. The place offers inside and outside seating. Seating is comfortable, too. They offer sweet and savory pastries, not to mention French baguette sandwiches.

Kei M.

Yelp
Stopped by for coffee and pastries at this cute little spot. They have many different options for pastries and drink options. Service was nice as well and the decor was nice. Parking is a little harder since it's all street parking but we were able to find some. I would come back again if I was in the area! They use square for their payment platform.

Nadiyah S.

Yelp
Some of the best pastries in San Diego! The sun-dried tomato spinach and feta tart is SO good. Get this! I hope it's a mainstay in their rotation. It's perfectly flakey and soft/dense and savory without being too tart. We also got the peaches and cream filled croissant which was good as well. The vanilla latte was very good, they make their syrups in house. I would pass on the chai latte though, that wasn't that great. I can't wait to go back for both the sweet and savory pastries. I want to try them all! Note that pastries run out so if you want a selection you'll have to go early otherwise you'll get what's left. Nevertheless you're bound to find something you like.

Ros A.

Yelp
So glad to see that they've open their store front. I've tried Bonjour's croissants several times from the Little Italy farmers market, so had to try them when they're store opened. They have a lot of pastries, breads, and desserts. I loved how there were both a great selection of sweets and savory items along with coffees., I tried their Matcha Latte and Oatmilk Latte. For sweets, it was recommended to try their Orange Cream Croissant, so good! Their Salmon croissant sandwich had salmon, guacamole in a croissant. It's a great lunch choice. They have seating both inside and outside. They get pretty busy, but the staff does a great job of helping people and getting them through.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
The quality of pastries is really top notch. The only reason for slightly lower stars is the price and the coffee being meh. Came on a Friday around 8:30 and it was busy but not packed and the bakery case was full. They have a small amount of either indoor or outdoor seating. If you stay to eat, they serve you your drinks and pastries in the highest quality dishware that I have ever seen at a cafe. The overall vibes are very inviting. I got the brie and fig Danish. The croissant dough is sooo good. Perfectly salty and a good contrast in crispiness of the croissant to the creaminess of the brie and not overwhelming or overpowering sweetness of the fig jam. However a $7 price tag is the highest I've ever seen in San Diego. I got an Americano to drink and it tasted a bit sour. I'd probably go elsewhere for coffee in the future. Note that they only have street parking.

Danielle W.

Yelp
The best kouign amanns in San Diego! Every time I come here there's always only one left, but if there were more I'd absolutely buy 4 to go. These are the perfect balance of sweetness, saltiness, and butter. These aren't salty, but they have a hint of salt that pairs really nicely with the sugary outside. They're always beautifully flaky but not dry and not bready. They're just perfect buttery goodness. I've tried the gluten free ones and they're good, but not as good as the regular ones LOL. The gluten free ones are also a little more salty and bready which I don't prefer.

Yelp
Love everything about this place! Pistachio rolled croissants are dangerously delicious.

Yelp
The best a french bakery has to offer. Right in my own backyard. Everything is amazing even the vegan croissant my dairy allergic son loves! But those chocolate and almond croissants are light, buttery, flaky, sinfully delightful. The presentation and packaging along with their stellar service is simply the best. It's located in an industrial area so order online and pick up is the best option.

Yelp
Sleek and refined French patisserie in Little Italy. My bestie took me there for coffee time on my birthday and we enjoyed the experience. We would like to spend more time at the terrace savoring our coffees and pastries but she needed to pick up her son so we will do it again soon with more time. Service was very attentive and answered all the questions about these croissants that look so different. I liked it a lot but it is so dense I don't know if I would order that again. Coffee drinks were great and I like the aesthetics of the ceramic dishes and cups and overall.

Yelp
Conclusion: Would recommend. More detail: Friendly polite service, modern style. I got the New York croissant with I believe is a milk chocolate instead of the other option, white chocolate with vanilla flavor. It was very slightly sweet for my liking, but still very good.

Yelp
Amazing! Incroyable! Si bon! Haven't had a pastry like this since my last visit to France! I chose to go for a savory for my morning snack and for the Brie and Fig jam pastry and wasn't disappointed. Service was on pointe and my friends were equally pleased . No wonder this place has earned local awards! It's a must.

Yelp
Cozy little cafe in downtown. I have been here numerous times now and I have never been disappointed with the quality of their drinks, pastries, and service. The employees are very friendly and welcoming (shoutout to Jasmine for always being so nice). If you're ever in the area you should totally give this cafe a try.

Yelp
Such a cute little shop. So many goodies, but don't miss the Brie croissant. Flaky and creamy all in one. The mango passion fruit tart is a delicious treat as well.

Yelp
The croissant was not as flaky as I hoped. There was no crunch at all. Quite disappointing. The place is quite loud, resulting in me receiving an oat milk latte instead of a whole milk latte. Not a great atmosphere in store. Bathroom is in the building next door.

Yelp
Had an easy experience ordering a cake from Bonjour Bakery online! Came by to pick it up and it was ready to go. Looking at the beautiful interior, I noticed all the elegant pastries on display and wanted to try one! I don't know the style of which croissant I got, but it was so yummy and had a blueberry and lemon filling. There are all sorts of shapes of croissants that were flattened, spiraled, and folded over. It was slow towards the end of the day and they're fairly new here on Cedar St. I'll definitely be back for more pastries! They have a variety of vegan sandwiches and their cake I ordered was vegan. It was alright in taste and was very heavy handed on cream, so I wouldn't order that one again. Other than that the cafe and bakery is adorable and I highly recommend their croissants!

Yelp
The croissants were very buttery and beautiful. They were crisp on the outside and the layers were plentiful. We tried the chocolate, plain and raspberry chocolate. I especially loved the plain, but the raspberry filling was just the right level of sweetness and a gorgeous color, chocolate was also just sweet enough for my taste! The server explained each item in the case and even offered me a coffee that was "extra." I felt welcome and the shop is tidy and easy to find off the main strip of Little Italy in the bottom of a small residential complex.

Yelp
Pleasant ambiance, which I like. I loved their pastries, especially the pistachio croissant dipped in the hot vanilla latte. Omg! Top tier combination. Must try!

Yelp
Stunning new pastry location. Their vanilla latte was delicious and so were the pastries. Ranging from sweet to savory, the owner is very knowledgeable on his ingredients and cares about presentation and quality.
