"Dallasites in the know will recognize the name Bonton Farms as the place that provides local goods to many of their favorite restaurants or might be familiar with its excellent farmers market and cafe. The farm reclaims unused land in South Dallas for farming, offering jobs and food programs to locals. Its jams are made on-site by workers learning how to test and source the ingredients, package products, and manage sales relationships." - Courtney E. Smith

Wonderful restaurant, staff, and vibe. I recommend this for the family and brunch gang! Breakfast Skillet, Shrimp and Grits were different, BUT delicious! Honey Butter Latte is amazing and a must try!

This place is amazing. Food and service so good! A very special thanks to the lady that made my husband and I feel welcomed as soon as we walked in. I understand the restaurant may not sell coffee for the intentions of having customers explore the market but there’s people like me that really enjoys coffee with breakfast. This time unfortunately I only had water to drink. I did get coffee when I left the restaurant! It was so good.

I love this place, everyone is so nice and friendly, fresh produces, low waste personal products, great honey butter latte. The animals are well taken care of, they are thirsty for attention Come visit!

Wow, this place is cool! Great food and service! Makes for a very fun family outing or day trip for a meal. I’ll definitely come again! Loved the shrimp and grits but the show stopper was the flavor of the fried green tomatoes/pimento sandwich on grilled bread! One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten and I’m a foodie from way back..

Absolutely fantastic neighborhood business with a most joyful staff. The atmosphere is liken to a stroll in the countryside. There are beautiful gardens and delightful pathways. The produce market has become my go to for all my veggie needs and when I don't feel like cooking, their menu has many of my favorite meals. Simply a WONDERFUL place!

An amazing experience. It is definitely a beautiful treasure tucked in Bonton. The coffee shop is amazing and has an eclectic selection of homegrown and handmade items. Grab any staff member and they will answer any questions or share the farm's history. They also offer tours and have volunteer opportunities. I visited the chickens, roosters, goats and Lily the pig. The animals are very interactive with the staff which is a great indicator of the care provided. The restaurant is homey and aesthetically pleasing. I found the staff to be courteous and friendly. The watermelon lemonade was very refreshing and not overly sweet. I ordered the fried chicken. I'm a wing kinda person but they only had breasts. The breast was actually very moist and tender. The green beans were fresh and tasty. Gouda is one of my favorite cheeses so I was excited about the Mac and cheese. Not much cheese, dry, and room temperature. The pecan pie was the game changer. Absolutely delicious with the honey butter ice cream. A must try. My take away was a great overall experience. No collards, no wings, no peach pies and not the macaroni from instagram to be found during my visit. If the sole purpose for my visit was food I would have left super disappointed. However the overall experience was positive. Definitely will visit again and will return the Mac and cheese next time if the Gouda isn't Goudaing!!!
