"Tucked away inside the Washington Square Mall, Boom Crepes isn’t the easiest place to access during the pandemic. Patrons willing to brave the retail shoppers will find a variety of crepe options, including some with matcha ice cream. And while the crepes here are all very good, the move is to order the matcha crepe cake, a stack of thin matcha crepes with a fresh matcha cream between. The cake is finished with a heavy dusting of uji matcha powder for extra flavor. These cakes are pre-order only and cost a hefty amount for a slice, but are so worth it. Boom Crepes is open for takeout Tuesday through Thursday." - Seiji Nanbu

Google
One of the better places to get food at this mall. While they specialize in crepes, they have a lot of different options, both savory and sweet. Since I have a huge sweet tooth, the latter appeals way more to me, and their nutella peanut butter crepe definitely does not disappoint. They have some fruity flavors as well. Service is pretty efficient; only issue is that since they have a smaller staff, they are not open as long or often as other restaurants in the area.

Google
Delicious!! Though I’m typically in it for the sweets, I went for a savory Salmon King, which was incredible— fresh and light yet filling! Definitely a tasty, healthy alternative to some of the other food kiosks in the mall. Would absolutely recommend. Thanks, Paul!

Google
Oh I loved this place! They were so good. I got the peanut butter and Nutella and banana it was so delicious. I would absolutely come back.

Google
The crepes are good! They have hardy and sweet crepes, so you can eat them as main dish or as desert. Have a crepe with avocado and salmon to get your nutrients and then have a crepe with strawberries and ice cream as desert :-) Too bad they don't have tables to sit at. Eating this standing up and walking around may be a tricky and definitely takes away from this special treat. Crepes are meant to be enjoyed.

Google
I would spread out the ice cream more but lovely chocolate strawberry crepes. Completely worth the time to review. It's just inside the entrance between Cheesecake Factory and Nordstroms. I also like the idea of fish in the crepes instead of just lunch meat but have not tried it yet. New favorite is the Salmon King it is bright and earthy you'll love it.

Google
I have traveled the world and have tasted many crepes place but this one is really awesome. Good food and great staff is a win win in book. Everyone must stop by and try their crepes. You’ll love it!!!

Google
Can’t believe I never reviewed this place. This hands down has my favorite crepe in Oregon. Especially #25 the veggie crepe. I know I know, hear me out, usually I’m a sweet crepe person but this veggie crepe…👌🏻👌🏻 chefs kiss The crunchy cheese with avocado and their pesto sauce. Heaven.👌🏻 I’ve tried their snow white, salmon crepe and crème brûlée crepe. Delicious as well but imo (not exaggerating) nothing will beat the veggie crepe, it’s so good I need to stop and try their other crepes again lol PS they could get a little busy but I think it’s worth the wait. After all it’s a tight space with many customers

Boom Crepes has a very unique and delicious taste that you can't find anywhere else in the Portland Metro (at least, I haven't!) I hope they stay in the mall for a long time, or get a freestanding location nearby!

Yelp
Boom crepe used to be a food cart in downtown Portland but it looks like they've settled here at Washington Square. If you're a fan of durian you must get the durian crepe I promise you it's so worth getting the yum factor is HIGH! The crepe itself is soft got a good chew to it and they use real durian for the filling so it's so super creamy and you get chunks of durian flesh when you bite into it. As a durian lover I fell in love immediately, still thinking about it as I'm writing this review. It's a small but mighty little stall inside the mall, you can watch the crepe making process and it doesn't take long for your order to be ready. I love it here will always come by when I'm at Washington square for sure. Highly recommend you give this stall a try if you haven't!!

Jonathan Y.

Yelp
The durian crème brûlée was really good and had large pieces of dirt and inside, which was amazing. The workers are very friendly and helped answer our questions. If you like durian, highly recommend the creme brûlée crepe.

Sylvia C.

Yelp
Every time I've passed by this kiosk in Washington Square mall on my way out, I remind myself "I'll have to trust that next time." Well, this weekend I finally got to! My friend and I wanted a snack, and a crepe was just the thing. We both got desert crepes. I enjoyed the strawberry, blueberry, whipped cream + cream cheese mix of the Rose of Berry! And you have the choice to get it as a burrito-shaped wrap which is easier to eat or this cone shape. I'd love to try their savory crepes next time!

Jenna W.

Yelp
These are not traditional French crêpes by any means, but they are tasty. I had smoked salmon and cream cheese, and it was an excellent snack. It's not super filling so you could go back for a dessert one after more shopping. They don't have dedicated seating nearby, but I ordered coffee at Starbucks while waiting, so I could sit at their tables.

Malinee S.

Yelp
10/10 the. Crème brûlée crepe is amazing. The crape is filled with chocolate, strawberry banana, vanilla ice cream and topped with rich refreshing creamy brûlée. Crispy crust sugar add a nice texture. Very fun and yummy dessert. Love it. Boom is a stand alone stall inside a mall next to William Sonoma. You can park in Macys'side and walk to the shop.

Jaane F.

Yelp
My hubby and I shared one crepe. We got the little princess and requested less whipped cream. We enjoyed the crepe as not overly sweet and too creamy! The strawberries and bananas were fresh! The crepe was very thin to bite through. The price was really decent less than $8.

Paul A.

Yelp
We had crème brûlée crepe. It was very good. We both like it a lot. The crème brûlée itself is wonderful. It is also cold inside which make it more delicious as well. The crepe taste and texture is like the original Japense crepe. We will definitely have it again and again. Highly recommended. Glad that we have it a try.

Yelp
My recent visit to Boom Crepes was an absolute delight! I savored the "Little Princess" with luscious banana and Nutella, as well as the "Fresh Strawberry" crepe, and I must say, they were nothing short of delicious. The flavors were a delightful symphony of taste. And to make the experience even more enjoyable, I also indulged in the "Ham Cheese Avocado" crepe, which was incredibly yummy. I can't recommend Boom Crepes highly enough for their scrumptious creations and impeccable service.

Stacey G.

Yelp
I tried the crepe with the crème brûlée and it had a weird chemically taste to it. They were also not the friendliest. I felt rushed and they were out of a couple of things. I would not try this again because of those reasons.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Finally tried Boom Crepes! Every time I go to Washington Square I always pass by it. We got two crepes: Durian Creme Brûlée: I was so happy to see that they had a durian filled crepe. It was packed with a good amount of durian but it didn't have a strong fresh durian flavor. There was also a scoop of vanilla ice cream too. The creme brûlée on top was a nice added addition to the crepe. Country Road: This was packed with vanilla ice cream and Nutella, topped with Oreos, strawberries, whipped cream, and cookie. Overall, loved trying the sweet crepes they have here. Will definitely come back to try some of their savory ones.

Chris S.

Yelp
Reminds me of the Japanese crepes you'd get walking through the streets of Harajuku. Boom crepes is located in the mall, but don't let the free standing storefront at the mall entrance fool you. It still draws a crowd, deservingly so for those that don't get to experience these savory and dessert crepes elsewhere.

Vikram M.

Yelp
We visit this place whenever we come to Portland. They make the crepes right in front of you with fresh ingredients which makes this place a must try. They take their time to prepare as it is freshly made. But well worth the wait. The only challenge is, if you prefer to sit and eat, there are not much seating around here as it is in a mall. We usually get their cone style crepe which makes it easy for us to carry around the mall.

Keira L.

Yelp
Nice concept. Crepe stand in the mall. You can watch the entire making process. It's very clean. The staff wore gloves. It's interesting it looks like they have cameras recording the process too. I don't know if they post the process somewhere online. It's reassuring that they take pride in the food they made. Cute little place to try if you are shopping at the mall. If you are on a date, don't order the durian crepe. Thank me later.

Binh P.

Yelp
Glad creme brulee crepes are making their rounds around the states. It does take a bit more time to make but it's so worth it. Seems they sell out of their durian crepe pretty early on, but they still had their boom crepe with creme brulee, ice cream, strawberries, bananas, and nutella, and their mango boom which replaces the previous fruits and nutella with mango and whipped cream. The crepe was nice and soft, but I guess I ate it too slow because it started to drip out the bottom. Check them out if you're in the mall.

Sophie L.

Yelp
Didn't look too impressive when I first walked by. I haven't had any good crepe experience outside of CA so I was skeptical. My head told me No, but my heart said YES! So I went and bought it. It satisfied my craving just right. It was not overly sweet so that's a win for me. The staff were also nice. I'd recommend you stop by the stall on your next visit. It's a healthy habit after all ;3

Joanne S.

Yelp
Situated next to Lululemon and Williams-Sonoma in Washington Square Mall. I seem to have always missed this place. I only found out about this place by looking up Japanese desserts on yelp. I was told the most popular items were the Little Princess and Strawberry Banana Creme Brulee. They're pretty similar I felt like going big so I got the Strawberry Banana Creme Brulee which came topped with the caramelized layer and custard of the creme brulee, vanilla ice cream along with Nutella and strawberry + bananas. There were only 2 employees there and there was one person who ordered before we did and it took a good 10 minutes to get our food. I really enjoyed it but it got really messy eating it. The ice cream melted and it ended up just dripping down out of the crepe. But I'll come back again and try some of their savory crepes next time.

Joann L.

Yelp
YUM! Durian crepe was FILLED with durian and it was delicious. The strawberry cheesecake was great as well. Today was Labor Day so they were pretty busy, but the wait was so worth it. 10/10 recommend!

Alisa B.

Yelp
How can you go wrong with Japanese crepes? Boom Crepes has got you covered with great prices, yummy crepes, & fast service! They have a good mix of sweet and savory crepes on their menu, but for this visit, I wanted some dessert crepes. I ended up ordering a creme brulee crepe with matcha ice cream and 2 strawberry nutella crepes. The man running the shop was very friendly and it was entertaining to watching him blow torch the heck out of my crepe! LOL Whenever I eat crepes, I have a fear that my crepe will fall apart or the ice cream will start leaking from the bottom! BUT THESE CREPES WERE PERFECT! Never did it fall apart or start leaking once. The portions were perfectly packed and it was so easy to eat! Surprisingly no mess. This is definitely an underrated gem of Washington Square.

Rhea J.

Yelp
First time with Boom Crepes and WOWZA! Our minds were blown with the creme brûlée crepe. They were so damn good. We ordered 2 crepes each because all their menu sounds really fantastic. The prices are very cheap too and the size of the crepe is good (not small, not too big) Just to make it short, EVERYTHING IN THEIR MENU TASTE AAAAAAAMAZING! Go get some crepes now!!!!!

Yuli L.

Yelp
We went to Washington square in a quiet afternoon, just to get out of the house and to pick up an order. Every time we dropped by this crepe place it's always closed or closing, but not during this visit! When we saw the "open" sign, my boyfriend and I hurried up + sprinted to the stand to get some us crepes! I got the matcha ice cream + red bean favor while my boyfriend got the ham and cheese one. I like the creamy + sweet combo of the matcha crepe, and really enjoyed the pen seared cheese shell on my boyfriend's. Needless to say both tasted delicious! While we really enjoyed the our own, we found the combo of the sweet and savory was the best way to go! There was only one lady attending the stand, and she took her time to make our order absolutely beautiful. So if you drop by the stand and see no lines, definitely give it a try!

Rachel Y.

Yelp
Crepe cakes has its way to my weak spot. I was so happy to know Boom Crepes has now introduced crepe cake! I've tried multiple flavors including coconut, matcha, mango, strawberry, red velvet, and durian. I probably have tried half of their menu.... so you do understand how much I love crepe cake, right? Anyways, which one is my favorite you may ask... coconut is definitely my fave because of the layers of coconut jelly in between. It gives the crepe cake even more texture. For fruit crepe cakes, it's best to consume it right away since fruits can't last as long. I've started to order whole cakes from them for birthday cakes, they do need at least 3-4 days of notice.

Samantha W.

Yelp
Worth going into the mall for. So many options. My lix, cream cheese and avocado was wonderful. It normally has honey mustard but that's practically blasphemous so I had them leave it off. I will definitely be back as there are so many types to try

Alexus Y.

Yelp
I'm so happy to find a crepe spot reminiscent of Japanese style crepes in the Bay Area. And it's not too far from where I live too! I was even more excited to try the Durian flavor. And wow.. the flavor is real! I haven't had Durian for a while now but mannn I forgot how pungent it is. Anyway, if you're a Durian lover - definitely give this spot a try- as it's super unique, just be mindful that the flavor is pretty strong. Which isn't a bad thing at all! Just surprising haha. I will definitely be back to try their other crepes. They have a wide array of savory as well as sweet options. They also make their crepes so dang photographable. Awesome spot and I highly recommend for a sweet tooth fulfillment.

John T.

Yelp
Glad we stumbled upon this while walking through the mall. We found it slightly after closing, but the person was kind enough to take our order and make us a crepe. We got the crepe a minute or two after ordering, so the service is pretty fast. We ordered fruits and vanilla ice cream with our crepe, and it was delicious!

Jessica C.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this crepe for so long! I am a huge durian lover. The service was great! The durian was very sweet and creamy (maybe a bit too sweet for me) This crepe was huge so I would recommend sharing it with someone.

Mike P.

Yelp
So good, they have durian. That's all you need to know. The crepes are soft which I like. I know some places make it hard and crispy, but that's not the style they do here. The durian boom is mixed with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream at the bottom. So you're not getting full force durian but you'll definitely having lingering durian breath. I don't see any problem with that though. For only $7.50 before tax, it's a good date spot to ensure the person you're with loves durian and is a keeper. Dank approved.

Jina H.

Yelp
A quick lunch and everything was professional and great service. Due to the pandemic the visual of the crepes is different as they wrap it up and give it to you in a bag, which shows the measures taking place along with staff and customers wearing masks. These guidelines do not take away from the flavor of the savory crepe! I ordered the salmon king and it was made right away and placed on a tray to the side of the kiosk, so there is minimal contact. Employee was wearing gloves as well and social distancing enforced with placement stickers. The to go bag has a great reminder in having you eat the crepe as soon as possible as fresh ingredients are used for each crepe. The folding of the crepe showed in each bite and the flavors of the sauce with salmon and vegetables added a variety of textures. The crepe was thin and soft, didn't feel heavy which balanced well with the toppings. Getting to the bottom of the crepe, there were still toppings! Can't wait to try a sweet crepe next time

Jenny Y.

Yelp
I really want to love this place, I really do because it is cute and unique. I mean creme brûlée on top of the crepe?!?! Sounds awesome already. As you can see, I'm already excited about this place based off of the photo menu. This place offer sweet and savory flavors along with daily specials. We picked out something from the "creme brûlée crepes"- the mango boom $8.00, which is seasonal. Minimal service contact, ordered at the counter, paid and we received our product pretty quickly. Liked the creme brûlée top (nice added texture) and the crepe batter (sweet). However, for the price $8.00, I feel like it was fairly expensive. The crepe was smaller than expected. It contained very little mango and ice cream. Good presentation though. I tried it once, a pass for next time.

Arnab K.

Yelp
I had not tried a crepe place in this area. I liked the quick service and variety of options in this place. Since it is inside a mall, you need not go to this specifically separately. You can just combine it with your shopping.

Marilyn N.

Yelp
I loved boom crepes the first time I had it at the food pods in NW Portland. The durian boom crepe is AMAZING. I'm so glad that they are conveniently located at the Washington Square mall! This time I got the mango boom crepe and it was just as good! The mango was fresh and there was plenty of it. You get to decide which ice flavor you want - I think there's vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and green tea. I went with vanilla since it would be best with mango. My boyfriend really enjoyed it, but he wasn't a fan of the creme brûlée top. If you're a creme brûlée fanatic then you'll enjoy this awesome concoction! They are pretty busy, but the order came out quickly -- about 5-10 minutes. You're given a number when you order and they'll call it when it's ready.

Tiffany R.

Yelp
Nom Nom Nom Crepe heaven Since I had already stuffed my face with pho and dumpling from two other locations I had only one choice. Dessert muhahahahaha I ordered the little princess for $6. It was a good portion, two people can share, IF you wanna it came with fresh strawberries, banana, nuetella and whipped cream, and SPRINKLESSS!!! all wrapped up in the shape of a cone with the purple colored crepe. The food crepes looked very appetizing, but I really barely had room to finish my sweet cone. Order, wait, get called, walk away happy

Louanne F.

Yelp
This stand is located right between Williams Sonoma and Lululemon. I was extremely excited when I saw the stand at Washington Square because I LOVE this place!! The first location was a foodcart in downtown and if you're like me, I don't like to go to the downtown area since there's too much going on. If you never stumpled upon the foodcart in downtown before, come try this place when you are in the Washington Square area!! They offer both savory and sweet crepes. I have only tried the sweet ones because savory crepes aren't my thing. If you're going to order a sweet crepe, be sure to order the "Boom Crepe"!! Not only is it a sweet crepe, it also has CREAM BRULEE on top!! Are you drooling yet? If you aren't, you probably will be by the time you see the crepes! My favorite is the seasonal Mango Boom crepe! The mango and cream brulee complements each other. Whatever flavor you like, I highly suggest you to try the boom crepes!!!

Ting A.

Yelp
We just had to stop here to try out the famous Boom Crêpes, and I was far from disappointed! We got the crème brûlée crêpes that have a crispy top from the hardened caramelized sugar, and are stuffed full with goodies and ice cream. ----- Matcha Boom: green tea batter, house-made red bean, real whipped cream, green tea powder, green tea ice cream, and crème brûlée on top ($7.50). ----- Mango Boom: fresh mango cube, ice cream, custard, real whipped cream, crème brûlée on top ($8). ----- There's a bit of a wait while they make your crêpes, especially if there is a line, but it's worth the wait. (And it's a good opportunity for a food picture to share!)

Sam L.

Yelp
Stopped by on our way to downtown Portland! Saw this on IG and wanted to try it out! We got the boom crepe which has strawberries, bananas, vanilla ice cream, Nutella, and a creme brûlée top. It was pretty cool to watch them assemble the crepe especially when they torched the top of the crepe. Flavor-wise, we'd give it a 4/5. The combination of fruit and toppings worked well together. You can't go wrong with bananas and strawberries! The creme brûlée was an interesting addition! Only complaint - it is a tad pricey but to be expected for what it is.

Vanessa T.

Yelp
I must say this place was SPECTACULAR!!!!!! It literally is a hole in the wall. One of the stands in the food truck area. They sell mostly crepes but I got the Durian Boom Crepe. It was a crepe wrapped into a cone with fresh durian, ice cream, creme brulee topping and some sort of cream. I liked how they used fresh durian instead of the fake powder. It was soooo good! I got it 3 more times throughout my trip. $8 for a good crepe is worth it to me. They're always busy, but not too long of a wait. And the people who work there are super friendly and nice. Definitely enjoyed this!

Gabi K.

Yelp
Overall: As a crepe lover and someone who eats and makes crepes on the regular I don't think these were that good. Atmosphere: This is a kiosk/small space over next to Lulu Lemon and Ann Taylor. They did a good job with their menu and including pictures. Food: Tried the banana and Nutella crepe and it was nothing special. When we got the crepe, it was already cold. They were so stingy with the batter, it was so thin that in places it was crispy (which is not normal for a crepe). For the price we paid, not worth it. Service: minimal and basic. Neither of the employees even smiled at us or were friendly.

Elin Y.

Yelp
Their durian cream brûlée was boom. A bit of reference I am south East Asian specifically from Malaysia and so I love love durian. However, I've been disappointed throughout the journey of trying to find durian or durian related products in the U.S that actually taste good . I was so surprised when I tried this durian cream brûlée crepe. I've haven't had this kind of durian taste in a long time. Alert : The durian taste is very strong. For those who tried durian you know it's either you love it or you hate it. 4 stars for the real durian taste -1star as it can be way too sweet since durian itself is already very sweet.

Justine D.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place out for a while, and have finally had the opportunity, and hunger level to give it a try! For durian haters, this may not be the review for you. As a durian LOVER, i am going to give this a raving review. With real scoops of durian, paired with ice cream, and then topped with a freshly burned layer or crunchy sugar to create a creme brûlée effect, this decadent crepe was what my stomach wanted, and my caloric intake did NOT need. Perhaps not the best breakfast option (the store opens at 12 pm so afternoon snack?), but make sure you are ready for the RICHNESS of the snack. It lives up to its name - it really goes "BOOM", with a burst of flavor exploding in your mouth as you take the first bite, and all the bites after that. Also keep in mind that things can get messy really quick. Even though it is well wrapped, the ice cream melts quick, and it very nearly ended in a disaster for us. Why a four star rating though? It's all about the . For over $8, be ready to fork over a pretty penny for your daily fat and sugar dosage of the day.

Shannon T.

Yelp
I had to join the wave of people posting crème brûlée crêpes. I love crêpes, crème brûlée, ice cream, and durian. Durian definitely has a bad rep. I'm not familiar with the Asian dessert crêpes with so much ice cream in it so this was a new experience for me. It's great that the brûlée process happens right in front of your eyes. The wait was longer than intended, but there was quite a few people waiting. I've been warned that if I eat too slowly, this will become a mess. They are very generous with the ice cream. Unfortunately, that's what my whole crêpe seemed to be with maybe a tablespoon of durian on top. My friend had tried this place and said she wished they gave a bit more durian and less ice cream. It's a pretty expensive fruit so I understand why they did this, but there was barely any durian flavor in it. I may recommend mixing the little amount of durian in the ice cream so the flavor could be evenly dispersed. The ice cream made the crêpe kind of soggy. I think it's worth trying, maybe not the durian boom, but definitely one of the others. I would go back to try the other crêpes they have on their menu. Prices are similar to other crêpe carts.

Brian G.

Yelp
BOOM! Easy 5 stars from me, this was my favorite food truck stop in Portland. I ordered the boom crepe and was thoroughly impressed at how good it tasted. I got the standard one that has ice cream, strawberry, banana, custard. But most importantly the boom crepe has creme brulee on top! Freshness of the fruit paired with the creamy custard and ice cream balanced well. The texture of the crepe was the right amount of chew and firmness, held together well. Must try if you're visiting Portland and like Japanese style dessert crepes!

Christina C.

Yelp
My favorite Crêpe place in town. They are best!!!!! I wish they were open until 7-8PM because each time I reach to downtown they are closed. I love their Nutella crepes and I am so excited to try savory crêpes.

Phoebe H.

Yelp
Holy CREPE! A picture's worth a thousand calories. Best best best durian creme brûlée crepe ever! I heard so many good reviews about this place and YASSS, I was not disappointed. I could taste the strong durian in every bite I took and it would just slowly melts in my mouth. They offer many flavors and choices to pick from, so if you're not a durian fan.... No worries, I'm sure the other ones would be just as good. Overall, highly recommend this place to satisfy your sweet tooth. I would definitely come back!

Saira K.

Yelp
I'm glad I visited this food cart. I had the crème brûlée crêpe which was amazing. There was a long line and you have to be patient. They're popular so I wish there were more people working there. It takes a while to make one of these. You can watch the crêpe being made. It was quite yummy!

Israel F.

Yelp
Seriously the best crepe I've ever had. We tried the #4 with added custard. Will definitely be back in the future to try other flavors. Keep up the great work

Rose M.

Yelp
Haven't seen anything else like this place in PDX, so of course I had to try it! I am definitely looking forward to coming back for one of their savory options. Notes-- most of their sweet stuff has nuts in it, so be sure to read the ingredients carefully. And the "cone" is very soft so be sure to grip it properly. Ordered: #7 Strawberry Bubble Tea Crepe-- Very good! Filled with strawberries, tapioca pearls, HK milk, an Italian cookie, and whipped cream. Substituted out the Nutella for chocolate sauce. Service: Excellent! The man who took my order was willing to accommodate my allergy by suggesting the chocolate sauce when I asked to have it without the Nutella. The woman who made my crepe was also kind enough to search the ingredients of the Italian straw cookie to make sure it didn't have nuts. Very nice people. Wait Time: 6-8 minutes. Bill: $

J C.

Yelp
I came at first around 2:45 on a Saturday and they were on break for orders until 3:30. It was worth the wait to get a delicious durian crepe with really good fresh durian flavor! Would go again

Alton D.

Yelp
One of my few regrets in life is that this place is about 10 hours from. And I mean that pretty seriously, this is the best dessert service I've ever had. This place only has one flaw: The wait. They take about 10-12 minutes per crepe. But they're amazing and made with a lot of care and love. If you can set that aside, you're in for some amazing things. Upon reaching the location, you'll notice that the stall is run by a really friendly folks, with a very cute menu outside. They have a very large variety of what they can do, but you really can't go wrong. I had the Boom Crepe, which to me seemed like just a Crepe filled with Creme Brulee from the description on the menu. However, it was filled with a large assortment of treats and goodies inside I was unaware of...and was pleasantly surprised. I wish I could give more details, but I was in a state of awe and accidentally devoured my entire crepe without giving it too much thought. My wife had one of their other crepes, more specialized around fruit. She also devoured hers...which is impressive, as she's actually quite against desserts. So that's saying something. The Price is amazing...so amazing I had to tip. Honestly, with the amount of crepe and care they put in, and their output, I don't know how they make a profit...it's unbelievably cheap for the quality and goods you get. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely drop by here every day and indulge myself. Like meeting a long lost friend...that you immediately devour. I urge you to drop by, you'll definitely make a lasting memory!

Yelp
Holy crepomoly ~ Ok sooo my second trip to Portland was bless by the discovery of BOOM CREPE! Firstly my trip buddy was like OMG lets get crepe. And I'm like NAH BRO I don't want no basic ass crepe. But she insisted and wanted to get the Creme brulee crepe and I'm like meh but then they're like which flavor of the BOOM do you want and then we saw DURIAN. FRICKEN DURIAN and I'm like OK NOW I WANT SOME. So we shared the one crepe. BIG MISTAKE because it's FRICKEN DELICIOUS and we ate it all in like 2 minutes. AMAZING. Like the durian was to die for , the crepe was a nice vehicle of yumminess and the ice cream at the end was bomb. Had to come back 2 days later for one last hurrah before we bounce back to our sad life without Boom Crepe. Man I miss it now, how naive I was to look down on crepe at first. I'm sorry crepe, forgive me.

Yelp
Overall: Cute little stand within the Washington Square that is a little overpriced for what you get. Options: They have a great selection for those with a sweet tooth. I ordered the mango boom which had a creme brûlée top which gave it a touch of crunchiness but it was an overpriced crepe afterwards. Service: My girlfriend and I went a few weeks prior but they were out of mango and also the red bean (which is a key ingredient in all of their items) so we made sure to call in before we made a drive. What threw me off was that the person said, "hello" instead of, "thank you for calling Boom Crepe." Besides that, their service was fairly quick.

Yelp
Iam currently in Portland for the long weekend and really really happy to be here! It's my first time, day 1 and iam in love with the town already! So artsy old school vibe I've been getting which forced me to not be fancy and went straight to all the food stalls/ trucks in the area! Out of many other stalls was this fancy stall me and my husband stopped for dessert! We ordered a boom crepe ( for me) and a mango boom (for him) with vanilla ice cream and creme brulee on top( sigh!) My first icecream crepe in a cone ever and my reaction was very similar to that of a multiple heart eyes emoticon!! ( Sure you can picture it) lol!! Ever since I've eaten it , been raving about it and somehow plan to squeeze this place into our food schedule everday! Enough said, if you're in Portland visit the area, this and other amazing food stalls are waiting for you to dig in!!!! Extra stars and claps to the staff for skills!! Such well made crepes with blowtorch in the end for brulee has impressed me immensely!!
