BoomBozz Craft Pizza & Taphouse - East Nashville

Visit East Nash and enjoy some good wings and pizza!!! We decided to take a drive to see some murals across the river and found this pizza place. We enjoyed the green pepper jam wings, a little heat and sweet with good flavor and the New York style pepperoni pizza. The service was great, always had beverages and all the people were friendly. Was great to watch the game too!! We don’t have young kids but there is a huge play area outside which was well utilized. Parking is cheap too- so definitely give this place a try!

We went there on a Wednesday and there were only 3 people except us. But they had nice music, tv displays everywhere on the walls, good pizzas and beer! Decent sports club but only when there’s a good football/ hockey match.

I have alpha-gal allergies and I have missed pizza so much!! They have vegan cheese without carrageenan, and I brought my own turkey pepperoni ❤️ so delicious. Notice their vegan cheese actually melts and stretches. They were fantastic about listening to my weird allergies and even brought out the cheese so I could read the label myself. This is now my pizza place

We came from out of town. We really chose this place because it has a playground for our kids- so honestly my experience expectations wasn’t high to begin with. When we walked in, the host talked at such a low level even when I leaned across the counter I couldn’t hear him. Our waiter, while nice, never put in my drink order at the bar, was super slow coming back for water refills, slow to drop off and pick up bill. Just overall real slow. The pizza was just okay, but overpriced. We tried the green chili chicken pizza which is marked as an award winner, and it really lacked overall flavor. My husband said it was like eating bland Mac and cheese. The medium size was $25 and it’s more of a $17 pizza. The Thai chili wings were actually quite good- tasted like bottled Thai chili sauce, but I’m not complaining about that. The playground was fine, but my kids said it wasn’t super fun. Overall, everything was fine, but I’d not choose to go there again.

The food was really good. Just a shame that our waitress, Sophia might be her name, wasn’t that attentive. The lead hostess was more attentive and brought out our food at one point. I understand if they’re new but also, there’s no excuse for service that takes 30+ minutes to get an order of food in when the waitress was walking by to the hostess stand and standing around the kitchen waiting for something to do.

Playground, cocktails, beer, wine, sports. The menu had something for everyone. They have patio seating away from the play area, also. The music was a little loud, but the kids certainly didn't notice. Love love this place.

I was surprised at how good the pizza was here - honestly, being a New Yorker... I normally wouldn't give pizza a chance elsewhere. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food - well portioned toppings with outstanding flavor behavior! The location itself is big, open and most certainly a spot to watch games. The even had an area for video gamers. Whole kids areain the back outside. Overall good experience - I'd visit again and recommend.

Overall, this place was good. Was pretty busy, hard to find parking. A ton of kids running around (play ground) waited 20 min for a table, and I got some beer from the bar. Got our table, our waitress was nice but not the best. She would disappear for long periods of time. We had to ask the bar for napkins, plates, etc. The boom wings were good. Hot and fresh, a bit salty. The cheese bread was very good, I recommend that. The pizzas were good. 2 16inch pizzas. 1 traditional crust and 1 thin crust. Both were very good, though we liked the thin crust more. I'd recommend this place, deff if you have kids.
