"I checked out Boombozz Craft Pizza & Taphouse's new East Nashville spot at 1003 Russell Street this weekend and found a big, family-friendly game-day hangout with a massive 16x9-foot video wall (plus more than 40 additional TVs), two heated patios and a full-sized playground outside. The menu is pizza-forward—standouts include a fire-roasted chicken pizza with chipotle sauce and Asiago and a Portobello mushroom pie with a garlic olive oil glaze—but there are also salads, sandwiches, pasta bakes and plenty of snacks. Brunch (Sat–Sun, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.) leans into breakfast-on-pizza offerings, from a Kentucky hot brown pie to a “breakfast cobb” crowned with hard-boiled eggs, bacon, chorizo, tomato, gorgonzola crumbles and finished with avocado cream and bloody Mary–spiked ranch; waffles (stuffed with everything from steak to cookie dough), build-your-own bloody Marys and mimosas, and kid-friendly options round out the menu. The space was clearly designed for sports fans and families alike, with specials through football season and extended weekend hours." - Delia Jo Ramsey
