bopNgrill Review - Lakeview - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Bop N Grill in Lakeview is a counter-service spot that does two things—burgers and bibimbap—and does them both very well. But we come here primarily for their burgers, which are just the right kind of hard to eat (i.e. sloppy but still manageable). Also make sure to get their fries topped with caramelized kimchi and cheese, which somehow manage to stay crispy the whole time you’re eating them. Food Rundown Philly Bulkogi Eggrolls A fusion philly cheesesteak in eggroll form. Safe to say they’re good. Unfortunately, only available on the weekends, or fortunately depending how you want to look at it. Kimchi Fries They look ridiculous and we’re pretty much all in on these fries. The fries themselves are very thick and potato’y, which we think makes sense. The cheese sauce is delicious, and topping it all off with caramelized kimchi is surprisingly good. The bacon bits are also good, no surprises there. Bulkogi Bop Plate Marinated Korean BBQ sliced ribeye over rice with a side of coleslaw and kimchi. The meat has a slight sweetness to it that makes it addicting. Make sure to mix the coleslaw and kimchi in with the rice and steak to make it complete. BBQ Chicken Bop Plate Don’t worry if red meat isn’t your thing, because the Korean BBQ chicken is equally as good as the ribeye. Same thing applies here in that you should mix the chicken, rice, coleslaw, and kimchi all together. Bi Bim Bop BopNgrill isn’t exactly meant for healthy eaters, but the bi bim bop is a solid way to go if you want to keep yourself in check. It’s an assortment of vegetables with a sweet & spicy Korean chili sauce and a fried egg over the top. A good mix of fresh veggies are rounded out nicely by the sauce. Umami Burger The umami burger is ridiculous and decadent, that’s for sure. Burger topped with a truffle mushroom mix, sun-dried tomato’s, togarashi mayo, bacon, and smoked gouda. It’s interesting and worth trying, but we wouldn’t eat it on the regular. bNg Burger Now this burger we would eat on the regular. An excellent patty topped with fried egg, 1000 island, jalapeños, sharp cheddar, bacon, and caramelized onions. We suggest getting the 1000 island on the side and adding as you please. Build Your Own Burger Since the actual meat patties and buns are good, get whatever you want on the burger front. Make your own if you’re not into the crazy concoctions and feel free to make it as plain as you want." - Sam Faye

Google
Cozy, fast casual spot that offers great burgers and fries. I recommend the BNG burger if you like loaded toppings. The fries are really good and seasoned to perfection

Derek Brown

Google
hell yeah! some of the best “korean inspired” food I’ve had! great quality and quantity for the price. yum!

Ted B

Google
The beef in my beef rice bowl was gray. I spent five minutes googling whether or not it was safe to eat before deciding either way it wasn’t worth the risk, it looked suspicious either way. The white parts of my fried egg were still runny. There is one sliver of yum food in the photo attached—the tofu from my partner’s bowl. Tofu was good! Overall, I would not get their rice bowls ever again but it looks like most people go here for burgers. Everything is served in to-go containers even if you order for dine-in and there’s only water for-purchase. The atmosphere was weird—pretty much no interior decor and barely lit room. No music. Not a great time altogether, especially for the price, but if you like tofu, get the tofu bowl.

Jessica Spruit

Google
Solid food, great music. The duxelle burger was quite good, not mind blowing, but definitely tasty with a tiny hint of spice. Fries are battered (yum) will try kimchee fries next time. My friend says the spicy fire chicken is delicious and very hot.

Google
I’ve been dreaming of this burger since I first had it two weeks ago. Went here because my dad had mentioned Guy Fieri featured it. Nothing fancy, just a great tasting burger that we enjoyed with a generous portion of kimchi fries with cheese sauce on the side. I think the garlic truffle aioli made all the difference for the burger! You order off the tablet and can choose to add a variety of toppings to your burger as well as specify the level of doneness you’d like the patty cooked to. The default is without lettuce and tomato, so that’s what I went with at least for this first time, and Im happy with that choice. The interior is quite plain, but fairly clean so no complaints.

Michael William Majorczak

Google
Excellent burgers. We tried it because we saw it on diners, drive ins and dives. You won’t be disappointed. Yum 🤤

Rachel Choe

Google
The cheesy kimchi fries are a must try on the menu. Fries are on point, thin, crispy and savoury. I had the fire chicken plate, which was spicier than I expected, but was good nevertheless. The kimchi is actually really good and they sell it in jars for you to take home too! My boyfriend had the classic burger which was actually really good too!

Google
Not sure what to order, William kindly offered me thoughtful suggestions. And let me say, he was spot ON! I ordered a Fire Chicken Bowl. It was delicious without feeling fattening or greasy. Loved the music and even the crazy neighborhood. Thanks, bopngrill, I'll be back!

Yelp
Food was great and service was excellent. I would totally recommend. But sadly they are moving in a week.

Yelp
Flavourful Fusion at Bop and Grill Restaurant! Bop and Grill Restaurant stands out as a top choice for those seeking a fusion of flavors and a fantastic dining experience. Yelp
Delicious! Great presentation, filling, and tasted great! Would recommend getting this for takeout if you are in the area. There is some seating inside but it is all to-go style. Completed my order within 15 minutes at dinner time - great service too! Deserving of 5 stars!

Yelp
This place looks like a bit of a dive on the inside, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The classic cheeseburger was exactly that, with all the ingredients I like (after I added some optional bacon). The fire chicken bowl was, as described, fiery. And the pork potstickers were perhaps the biggest surprise. They were perfectly browned in the fryer, and came with a really spicy sauce for dipping. The only downside is that there's not a lot of staff, and 2/3 of them seem to be in training, so the service was a bit slow, but they really came through with some good food.

Yelp
I've been meaning to try bopNgrill for a while now and I'm so glad I gave it a shot. Their Kimchi Fries are to dieeeeee for! Crispy and flavorful! Delicious with their togarashi mayo. Their Bng burger was also super yummy! Savory and perfectly seasoned (who doesn't love a fried egg on their burger?) Definitely give this place a try.

Yelp
Bop N Grill was unexpectedly awesome. It seems like one of those corporate places where you order at the counter and get stuff in a bowl. Other than that, it has much better food and better service. Good prices for as much as they give. They have a lot of healthy choices like tofu. A majority of customers get a bowl. It's about the best value you can get. These can get pretty much unlimited amounts of toppings. It's about $9 for a bowl. There's lots of protein choices, including beef, chicken, and tofu. I like the Fire Tofu Bowl. This comes with rice and vegetables. It has a slightly spicy sauce that adds lots of flavor. This isn't too hot but you can add some more hotter sauces. It has a lot in a bowl. These can come with rice or salad. Get healthy. If looking for a fast meal that won't make you fat, come here to get it. This is a wise choice for both carnivores and vegetarians.

Yelp
This place has gone way downhill. The menu has gotten smaller and the food more bland. I had a bulgogi bowl and the flavors were not as pronounced as they used to be. My husband got a burger and also remembered them being better. They did not have the philly cheese steak egg rolls on the menu when I visited, but they may have just been out for the day and removed the button from their electronic menu. The inside area is sad and plain. It looks like they want to get you out the door asap. I will say, the fries were very good and the togarishi mayo was a great complement to them. Service was quick and our order was accurate.
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
Their tofu is the sh*t! I swear, I go here every week and their stuff is consistently awesome. Great for vegetarians with their tofu rice bowls. I've been trying to eat healthy, so I get the bbq tofu bowl with all salad instead of the normal half rice, half salad. They currently do not offer dine in but you can order on a tablet inside and get your order for take out.

Yelp
I ordered food online on Christmas Day and I figured since it went through and they took my money, then they are open. I wait the time it said to wait and then drove all the way to the Lakeview location only to find that they were closed. I called and no answer or voice mail informing the public they would be closed or a way to leave a message. Extremely frustrating to waste all that time and then gas to go to your store and not be open. Worse yet is how do you now have any way to leave a voice mail? Still waiting to hear back and get my money refunded back to me. I used to enjoy eating there but I think I'm done. Too many restaurants in this city to have to worry about bad service like this.
google avatar

Katie K.

Yelp
This a go to spot to order, there is sometimes great deals on Uber eats. I usually get the bbq chicken bowl and add fries with the spicy Mayo. It is so good every time and a decent price.
google avatar

Anna G.

Yelp
i ordered the bulgoki beef bowl, fries, and the classic 2.0 burger. the bowl was good and very filling. the fries were awesome. while the burger was also good, the truffle garlic mayo was the star of the show. i regret not getting extra mayo to eat with the fries. next time.
google avatar

Yelp
I really like the Korean rice dish here. On u er eats there is great deal for buy one get one free and I eat that all the time. Really great for those who don't want to cook.

Yelp
bopNgrill is my go-to on days where no one can seem to agree on what to get for dinner. Menu is simple and everything is always delicious. Delivery and pickup have both been seamless every time. Used to only order the bulgogi (which is AMAZING, by the way) but recently ventured over to the bbq tofu based on other reviews. Long story short, the tofu tops the bulgogi in my books! Rice is always soft and cooked through (looking at you, Chipotle, for your inconsistent rice/rocks), and that poppyseed dressing makes me WANT to eat the salad. Really wished the portions were more balanced. I'm usually out of protein halfway into the rice, which is very noticable when you only have three items to alternate between in the bowl.

S P.

Yelp
One of the top burgers in the city. Not only that but there's some pretty great Korean food if you can stand to not order their burger. Never happened for me but I've tried food ordered by others in my party. Seriously amazing burger, must try

Yelp
BopNgrill has changed for the worse. As a dining establishment, don't get me wrong - the food is excellent. But it is frankly sad to see how the restaurant was shaped by covid. There used to be a guy fieri poster on the wall when he dined here. Now the atmosphere is grey, corporate, and sterile. It is basically a ghost kitchen with tables. Since they've moved to the grubhub model, the service is far slower for dining customers. What made this restaurant special is gone. But it remains a great place to order food - just don't dine in. A little sad!

Yelp
I've ordered from bopNgrill at least a few dozen times and they never disappoint! Their delivery is always within 20-30 minutes from ordering and the food is always hot and delicious. My favorite go-to order is their bacon cheese fries (SO good) and any of their burgers. I either go with their duxelle burger or the classic cheeseburger. Their bulkogi beef bowl is top notch as well! If you are ever in the mood for korean food with a twist, I highly recommend bopNgrill!

Yelp
BobNgrill was a sleeper hit for my trip to Chicago and this place was awesome. I stopped in on Saturday night when the original place I was going to go to was out of the food I wanted. This little shop has a good size menu offering all different kinds of Korean fast food and a large selection of burgers as well (famous burgers according to the signs). The bulkogi rice plate caught my eye because I'm a sucker for any type of Korean beef, let alone BBQ marinated. For only around $12 I got a full to-go container filled with rice, bulkogi beef, and even a salad I was not able to consume because of how filling the actual meal was. The Korean beef itself was absolutely delicious! The flavours of the meat and sauce together was absolutely phenomenal and the rice was the perfect side piece to go with it. The beef was cut up into the perfect size and I can't stress enough how delicious it was. Overall, this place blew me away. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area. The staff was great and the food left me with a giant smile. So good!

Yelp
I was introduced to bopNgrill recently, and not only will it become a favorite restaurant, but it may become an obsession. I already had two carry out visits this week. The KBBQ Tofu prepared by chef Andrea truly was addictive. It was firm, yet almost melted in my mouth, and it was covered in a flavoring that was equally fantastic. The restaurant is managed by Anderson who warmly welcomed us upon entering and made certain we had a 5 star experience. I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for expanding my palate!

Yelp
We popped in here to get a meal because the breakfast place we wanted to go to was closed. I can honestly say that this place was underwhelming at best. My dish came out and it was literally just rice with seasoned meat. There were no garnishes or anything. The quality of the meat was not great either. We didn't finish all of our food because it just was not that good to be honest. Maybe there's another thing on the menu or another way to order the dishes that would taste better, but when you aren't working with good quality ingredients to begin with, it will only marginally help the situation. I really wanted to like this place but it just didn't make the cut.
google avatar

Yelp
This was my first time at the Belmont location, after having good experiences at the Loyola location. Ordering was easy and I didn't wait long for the food, but the food itself was not that great. The meat in the bulgogi bowl was very fatty, to the point where we mainly ate rice and lettuce. I wouldn't come back to this location.
google avatar

Adnan M.

Yelp
Ordered delivery from here. A high 4 stars to this place! The fire chicken bowl had a nice kick to it. However, fire chicken was a little dry. It came on a bed of rice and side of salad with Poppy seed dressing which was delicious. Overall the bowl was good but fire chicken could use more spice and juice. The beef bulgogi was good too. I enjoyed the flavors. It also came with side salad and on a bed of rice. Overall I enjoyed the food and would order again.
google avatar

Dan J.

Yelp
Un-pretentious and creative burger joints that combine Korean influences to the classic American beef burger. Walking into their moderately small space with large tables on Belmont, the employees at the counter we're very friendly and patient, and offered to explain what duxelle meant as well as gave some recommendations to me as a newcomer. Lovely people! I ended up with the duxelle burger meal which included fries (you can add cheese and/or bacon) and a fountain drink cup (meaning unlimited refills!). The burger contained the Angus beef patty, a spread of spicy mayo and duxelle, which is a fine paste of cooked mushroom, as well as a slice of cheese and bacon. The every ingredient of the burger tasted as if they were cooked fresh, the patty juice, bacon crispy, cheese gooey and the duxelle paste adding the savory texture of mushrooms to each bite. I really appreciated how the bread buns we're cooked to the perfect brown with its inner sides crispy, which complemented the soft bite of the meat and duxelle. Their fries were served in generous portions and fresh out of the fryer as well. Will love to return and try their famous Kimchi fries next time!
google avatar

Yelp
So underwhelming! I love Korean beef bowls and Korean fusion, but this bowl really lacked flavor. I don't think I'd go back again.
google avatar

Crystal K.

Yelp
I came here a few times and ordered the bibimbap and the bulgogi bowl. My initial thought when digging into the bibimbap was wow! I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients; everything tasted fresh and the bulgogi was tender and juicy. Honestly, I was surprised, because I usually anticipate the beef being a bit dry. Same for the bulgogi rice bowl, the beef was just outstanding. I also ordered a side of kimchi which tasted relatively fresh, and a tad a bit fermented, which I like. It was a great in-between. I tried the ice cream sandwich and it was alright. It reminded me of the Korean fish waffle ice cream sandwiches that I used to eat when I was little. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I'll definitely come back to try the burgers, even though I'm not a burger person. As a Korean, I love how there's a restaurant that provides a Korean flare to the food! Way to represent!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
I've said it in reviews for BopNGrill's other locations but I gotta say it again. I'm biased. Korean dashes mixed with Burgers is genius, absolutely, but I know the owner so I think it's especially smart. Really though, this guy was doing the Korean fusion thing long before it became popular, way back when he had his first shop in Evanston and was testing various things to see what hit and what miss. He's honed his craft and this Lakeview BopNGrill location is one of a couple he currently has with a new location coming to Revival Food Hall in 2018! Now that aside, the eats here are delicious and won't break your bank. You can get a very solid burger with some touches you haven't experienced before in your beef. And if you go on the weekend, you can try their mind blowing Philly Bulgoki Eggrolls ($4.50). Yessssss. The rice plates are delicious, as are their kimchi fries! You really can't go wrong with anything you go for. And everything is made to order so it'll be nice and hot but just know you'll wait a couple of minutes for your food to be ready. The BnG is their signature Burger ($8.50 without fries or drink) and is a beast with all the fixings. The Duxelle Burger is another hit with "umami-packed truffled mushroom duxelle, togarashi mayo, bacon, smoked gouda"...you know that's a show stoppah! Gotta close this write up the way I do every BopNGrill review, Guy from Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives loves them, the Hungry Hound from ABC loves them and Sarah S. from Yelp loves them. Bop N Grill 4eva baybee. Pro-Tip: Save $5 with the A La Card Cheap Deck.

Trisha A.

Yelp
First time ordering from the Belmont location but I already knew what I wanted haha My friend and I both ordered the Duxelle burger and shared cheese fries. It was their first time trying bop and they thought it was good! I always order this from the menu so it was the same delicious umami, truffled mushroom taste I love so much. I can't help but compare it to my undergrad years though, when the burger was much bigger, juicier, and had more mushrooms. Eating it was part of the fun! But, it still tastes great and I'll continue to be a bopNgrill fan!
google avatar

KELLY M.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with my boyfriend. He heard about this place so I decide to bring him here to grab little bite. Let me say the menu isn't back. I see a lot of people order the burger but we just order bbq chicken. The chicken is not dry and flavorful.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
Ordered take out through Door Dash. They were really quick which was great! I ordered the kimchi cheese fries, the bulgogi bowl, and taro bubble tea. The kimchi fries were amazing!! The fries were crispy and perfect, and I loved the balance. The beef in the bulgogi bowl was a little chewy, but the side salad was pretty good. I docked a star because of the bubble tea - first of all, it was $3.50 so I assumed it was made in store. Instead, it came in a can and the tapioca pearls were super soggy and gross although the tea was good. I wish they explained on the door dash website that it was canned or made it cheaper. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my order, and I'm willing to give the bulgogi another try next time. Definitely filling, affordable, and hits the spot!

Yelp
My first time trying the food here was because my friend took me a bowl for lunch to my job.I love that so much I ask him where it came from.I decided to stop bye I had the fire TOFu! Very tasty super delicious

Yelp
I'm on a journey to find the best burgers in Chicago and I've heard some very good things about bopNgrill. It did not disappoint! It's a small fast food place right next to the Belmont CTA stop and it wasn't crowded around lunchtime on a Saturday. I ordered the Kimchi Fries and the bNg Burger. The Kimchi fries had kimchi, nacho cheese, and bacon. They were amazing, but it was large enough to split between 3-4 people. I'm not a big fan of Kimchi, but this kimchi was pretty dang good as it wasn't overly spicy. The fries were hot, crispy, and full of flavor! The bNg Burger had an egg, special sauce, jalapeños, cheese, bacon, and LTO. The burger was amazing and very messy! It's one of the best burgers in Chicago and in my top ten! Prices were pretty cheap as it's fast food. Overall, if you want a delicious burger then you have to try bopNgrill!
google avatar

Jose C.

Yelp
I was very impressed with bopNgrill. I ordered their Kimchi burger and my wife ordered the Duxelle. Both were phenomenal and have to admit a different taste in a burger. I never tried kimchi before so I was surprised in how delicious it tasted. We also ordered the kimchi fries and were just as tasty. The food came out very quick and the staff was also friendly. The kimchi came with of course kimchi, a fried egg bacon and American cheese. The Duxelleis UMAMI with truffled mushrooms bacon Gouda and sun dried tomato. Both were delicious and can't wait to come back and try their philly egg roll on the weekend!
google avatar

Yelp
Lord, oh, Lord, give me a pair of fat pants and take me back to bopnGrill! This was our first stop after my husband picked me up from the airport and it was worth the wait. I saw the main location on Triple D and it's been on my must visit list while in Chicago so I was overdue for a visit. I would never think of Korean food being synonymous with Chicago but BopNGrill does it and does it good. We got an order of the kimchi fries, Bulgogi philly eggrolls, the Duxelle burger and the bulgogi plate. Duxelle Burger-Fantastic, I just wish I would have been hungover to justify all the grease, cheese and used it to sop up some alcohol. Kimchi Fries-Every moden Korean place should serve these. Carbs, cheese, kimchi, it had it all. We barely put a dent in the order between the two of us. Why of why can't fries reheat well?? Bulgogi philly eggrolls-I was a bit skeptical at first but am willing to admit that I have been dreaming about these ever since we had them. Some gals dream about Chris Hemsworth, I dream of meat laden eggrolls, don't hate. Staff was awesome, location is ideal being right off the train line but be on alert, a few random homeless people came in asking for money so it was a bit off-putting but such is city life.
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
The gyoza/dumplings with the sauce are worth the 5 stars alone. Not to mention the burgers. Even when you aren't in the mood for a burger, the bowls are the perfect substitute. I order from them about every other week. One of my top 5 burger spots in the city!

L L.

Yelp
The food is amazing and the manager is extremely nice! Try the burgers, rice bowls and kimchee cheese fries. It's crazy good with quality ingredients.
google avatar

Andrea K.

Yelp
Love love love Bop N Grill. Their flavor creations have such a rich deep flavor. Kimchi fries, so amazing and a massive portion. Umami burger-yea! I am glad they have more than one location open in the city.
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
I thought the burgers were okay - but nothing great. We got the Kimchi and bNg Burgers. They are definitely made fresh b/c it took a few minutes to complete the order - which I think is a good thing. The burgers are quite large and get messy with the fried egg on top. We also got an order of fries with it. Fries were good, but for me you go there for the burger or rice bowl. Nothing outstanding that would warrant me coming back.
google avatar

Craig M.

Yelp
A late review from dining here in August, but my second experience was just as good as my first. The Umami Burger is one of my favorite burgers of all time. Burger was prepared perfectly, it was super flavorful and juicy and the bun paired perfectly well too. We enjoyed our cheese fries, as we went full on gluttony during our lunch. Highly recommend coming here, and it no question that the Umami burger is the one to order...
google avatar

Hannah L.

Yelp
Someone recommended this place to me when they heard that they lived near by. Another friend had heard good things and said they really wanted to try it, so I had pretty high expectations when I stopped by. Originally wanted to try the kimchi burger, but saw that there was truffle in the duxelle burger, so we ended up going with that, in the combo with burger, drink, and fries. The burger was a lot smaller and flatter than I had imagined. I was a bit underwhelmed by the taste. The bun was really soggy and it tasted like everything was just mushed together and just all blended into one. The truffle got lost, which was disappointing. I wouldn't come back for that burger, but I would want to return to the try the kimchi burger and the kimchi fries!
google avatar

Errol B.

Yelp
Ordered through Grubhub. I didn't have a problem with delivery. I really wanted to like this place. Maybe I got it on an off night. I would have liked it if: 1) the burger wasn't severely undercooked (red & pink through 90% of the pattie 2) the burger (bNg burger) wasn't slathered over the top with jalapenos, 3) there was more than maybe a half strip of bacon total on the burger, 4) the burger had some sort of flavor, and 5) there were actually caramelized onions on the burger as advertised. The sauces they offer, the side of pickles, and the fries are good. They have great packaging for the burger. It's just that their burger left a lot to be desired. Great concept though.

Yelp
I didn't think there would be competition for my favorite burger from Au Cheval, but ding ding ding ding, we have a contender! This location is small, but turns over tables rather quickly. It's only a block or two away from Wrigley so if you're looking for a quick bite (and a good one I might add), you can't go wrong with whatever you order on the menu. Staff are very friendly, and wait time for your order isn't bad at all. I ordered the kimchi burger and kimchi fries. Holy moly, I was not prepared for the awesomeness of this burger. Fried egg with runny yolk, bacon, kimchi, and a nice, greasy patty with lots of meaty flavor on a brioche bun all combined for what would become one of my favorite burgers. I've never been much of a fan of fusion, but this merger of American and Korean cuisine hit the spot right on the money. Burger was $8, which was very reasonable, and the fries were $6.50. The fries were a meal in itself, and a worthy side to add to your order. Cheese, bacon, kimchi, and green onions never tasted so good on top of seasoned fries fried perfectly giving the fries a nice crisp but retaining that soft potato texture within. If you haven't already figured out, I'm a fan. bopNgrill, you got me. I wasn't expecting it, and you woke me up from my haggard daze on this cold 40/50 F day in May. Hot tamale, you stole a piece of my heart! I'll be back to try your rice dishes, but it'll be hard to resist your delicious, juicy burgers.

Yelp
Another placeholder so my pictures link. I'll update with details later, but the 3 star rating holds true.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch and ordered the Umami Burger and Philly Bulkogi Eggrolls. The burger starts with 1/3 Angus beef topped with mushroom duxelle, sun-dried tomato confit, togarashi mayo, bacon, and smoked gouda all on a brioche bun. The burger is packed with flavor!! The mushroom duxelle is a finely chopped mixture of mushroom/stems, shallots, and herbs sauteed in butter. It is cooked down to a paste which concentrates the flavors. All of the elements of the burger come together for a phenomenal burger experience. Note: burgers are cooked to one temperature. The Philly Eggrolls (only offered Fri-Sun) are equally tasty! Eggroll wrapper with philly cheesesteak filling and Cheez Whiz, topped with sesame seeds. The result is a great combination of textures and flavors. Order'em - You're welcome!! I'll definitely be back to try out other menu items.

Yelp
Hands-down one of my favorite places to be. I'll forever be addicted to their barbecue chicken bowl (well done) and cheese fries (well done)... and I have received great and outstanding, excellent customer service from this location specifically and will continue to travel specifically to this location only because of that. I appreciate every meal you guys have cooked for me thank you so much and I will continue to recommend all my friends and family. Never been disappointed and they make you feel like family.

Yelp
One of the best burgers in the city for $10?! Easy 5 stars, the rice bowls are also super tasty and huge portions. The dumplings are always great too. Always quick and efficient with nice staff. More of a carry out spot than a place to dine in. Highly recommend the kimchi burger.

Yelp
Everything was delicious. Fantastic bowls. We tried the bulgogi and Fire chicken bowls which were both fresh, flavorful, well balanced...each had a generous portion of meat, complimented perfectly with the rice and salad! Their fries are also sooo good! Next go round we will try one of the burgers...although it will be difficult to bypass the bowl!

Yelp
We're big fans of the original on Sheridan and were thrilled to see this location after a visit to Wrigleyville. Sometimes there's a drop off in a second location and no problem for Bop N Grill. Guy Fieri didn't stop in, but the food was just as good and the staff was just as friendly. The kimchee burger, kimchee fries, bulgogi plate, and bibimbap were served fairly quickly and tasted great! Fresh ingredients, from veggies to proteins make a difference here. Fair prices too and I wish they would start using more eco friendly clamshell packaging. And an easy walk around the corner to see BlueManGroup!

Yelp
I really don't understand the name of this place (well, the 'grill' part makes sense) but I don't care. Bop N Grill has some of the best burgers around. The place is a order at the counter, pick up your own darn food kinda no-frills place. The staff was friendly and the menus are descriptive which is helpful since some of the items were unique. I went w a build your own burger - Gouda, egg, bacon...and cheese fries, just in case my arteries needed extra clogging. My dining companion had the bNg and the philly bulgogi egg rolls (weekends only). Everything was amazing! After adding two fountain drinks it was a little expensive for a typical lunch, but worth every penny IMO.

Yelp
The bulkogi rice plate was BOMB. I really enjoyed the meat, I mean the flavor was outstanding. And even though I wasn't able to finish the whole plate in one night, it was still great warmed up the next day. Also, get the fries! The fries are such a great texture. Crunch on the outside but still soft in the inside! Definitely one of my fav places for the fries. I'll be back here to try the burgers another day! From what I've heard they're really good as well. Great customer service and the food was ready within about 10 minutes. No complaints!!

Yelp
I think they're take out only so I picked up through DoorDash. The spicy dumplings are amazing and definitely glad I got the fire chicken bowl. Would go back
