"Most recently, New York City establishments have been “flocking to Nashville,” offering travelers to Music City connecting flights to places like Spain (Boqueria), Italy (Carne Mare), and France." - Daniel Maurer

"Downtown’s Fifth + Broadway now hosts Boqueria, the highly anticipated Spanish tapas outpost where I sampled pan con tomate, grilled octopus, patatas bravas, and paella de mariscos in a large 6,800-square-foot, 150-seat dining room at 5005 Broadway Place; it’s open Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m. and Friday–Saturday until 11 p.m." - Eater Staff

"Spanish tapas spot Boqueria debuted a boozy new brunch with an a.m. version of paella, caramelized French toast with citrus honey, Catalan farmers breakfast, as well as the full tapas menu. Meanwhile, bottomless mimosas, sangria, beer, bloody Marys, and cava flow freely for 90 minutes. Brunch runs during the weekends from 11 p.m. to 4 p.m." - Stephanie Carter, Clair Lorell

"I learned that Boqueria officially opens on Monday, February 21 at Fifth + Broadway in downtown Nashville, bringing the New York–based restaurant’s Barcelona-style tapas—pan con tomate, grilled octopus, patatas bravas and Spanish tortilla—to the city. The menu also highlights a seafood paella de mariscos made with bomba rice, monkfish, sepia, squid, shrimp, clams, mussels, saffron and salsa verde, plus two family-style “chef’s menu” options: a spread of Boqueria favorites ($52 per person) and the Boqueria experience ($65 per person), which adds seasonal offerings and a taste of 30-month-aged, hand-carved Jamón Ibérico. Nashville cocktail expert Demi Natoli created the seasonal cocktail list, which includes a cafecito old-fashioned, a margarita de hibisco picante, several sangrias, a winter gin and tonic and a shishito margarita, alongside beer and wine. The 6,800-square-foot restaurant seats 150, boasts a spacious patio facing 5th Avenue and the Ryman, an Imperial Danby white marble bar with black-glazed tiles highlighting Spanish wines and beers, a glowing tapas bar, a large open kitchen, bar-height seating and several large communal tables—features designed to celebrate the communal spirit of tapas and accommodate large groups. Since first opening in New York 15 years ago and expanding to cities like Washington, D.C. and Chicago, Boqueria says it was inspired by Nashville’s sense of community; it will be open Sunday–Thursday 4 p.m.–10 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 4 p.m.–11 p.m., accepting reservations and walk-ins for dinner, lunch and brunch." - Delia Jo Ramsey

"I expect Boqueria, the Spanish tapas restaurant that originated in Manhattan’s Flatiron District and first opened in 2006, to open its 8th location in Nashville in February in the Fifth + Broadway complex at 5005 Broadway Place; the Spanish stalwart — which has grown to seven locations across New York, DC, and Chicago — will serve Barcelona-style tapas like patatas bravas, paella, and Spanish omelets." - Delia Jo Ramsey
