I had a wonderful experience at this place! The atmosphere was incredibly inviting, and the portions were just right for sharing between two people. The cured meats were absolutely delicious, and the potatoes had the perfect crisp without being too oily. One of the things I often dislike about tapas is when the sauces overpower the dishes, but thankfully, that wasn't the case here. The flavors were balanced and complementary. It's a good reminder that tapas means small plates, and these were perfectly sized for sharing without feeling overwhelmed. Our waitress was fantastic—she gave us a spot-on wine recommendation that matched perfectly with the mood we wanted for the weekend. She was also super kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. I honestly had several favorites, but the real standout for me was the steak and toast with tomato—such a simple yet flavorful combination. The fig was another highlight, especially when paired with the bread and crispy potatoes. I could totally see adding a little ham to that for an extra kick. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to let the steak rest a bit longer. It was cooked beautifully, but a little more resting time might help the juices stay intact when cutting. Overall, everything was delicious, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back!

A great place to start or finish your evening. Sharp, yet Cozy and comfortable. Perfect size for the tapas to be shared and served at the corresponding time and speed so you can enjoy your drink and conversation. Knowledgeable staff will guide you to get good tapas and great wine from Spain, France, Italy, California, Washington and Greece! Congrats to staff and Directors.

Its a Spanish inspired place - foods are small portions more like appetizers but delicious; atmosphere is okay since they keep their place very dim

Glad the 1st place I went to was closed, I looked online on Google that saw that Boqueron was open. I arrived here and the place is gorgeous, the service was excellent, and the food is amazing. I was very impressed by the food as well as the drinks. Very rare I find a spot that actually takes care with their mixology craft and this is one of the best places in downtown to get a perfect cocktail. I highly recommend.

Attended on a Thursday night to take advantage of the 1/2 off Champagne prices. The establishment employs an Advanced Sommelier who assisted with our choices. The service was excellent and the food was very good and different. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet enough for conversations. It can get busy on certain days and calling ahead to check on availability or reservations is recommended.

Delicious small plates and the waitress knew exactly how to describe the wine. Worth every penny. Remember to ask what tapas they have off menu.

This is a great date night joint. Tapas are just enough to satisfy without overfilling your belly. And a nice glass of wine to ease the conversation. The staff knows to provide space but make sure your needs are met. Enjoy!

Classy wine bar with tasty small plates. The servers are very knowledgeable about their wine and drinks. It's a quiet place to catch up with friends over a delicious glass and plate before the DJ shows up then it turns into a lively evening. The portions are small so go here for drinks and appetizers or dessert.

The tapas are AMAZING! I was thoroughly impressed with how yummy their tapas are and the wine and service are amazing! We had a Tempranillo bottle that did not disappoint. The only server was very nice and down to earth She took great care of our table. Definitely worth the trip, we shall be coming back!

WOW! This place was awesome! We wanted to go to Las Ramblas next door, but it didn't open til 7, so we decided to have tapas first. We are so glad we did. We had 5 or 6 different items and each one was better than the last. The ambiance was nice and cozy and the food was really good!

Tapas were good! I wouldn't say it was anything mind blowing. We were visiting from out of town and I thought the prices were a little high for the amount of food and compared to other tapas restaurants I've been to. The decor was really cute and it was nice that you could hop between here and Las Ramblas.

The food was authentic, and the wine was good. We enjoyed the whole experience. A quite unexpected find.

With Spanish Tapas on the order, it promises to be an enjoyable experience.

Loved this place. It's definitely a higher end Tapas and Wine bar downtown Brownsville. The service was great and the food definitely took me back to Spain. Had the croquettes and they were flavorful and texture was amazing. Would definitely go back.

Tapas were outstanding! Menu is limited at this time. Recommend the Serrano ham and almonds plate. Ask for a basket of bread to go with it. Would be better if they offered Manchego or Iberico cheese with it. Wines were pricey. Request that they start to offer the Rueda white wines from Spain that go for around $24 to $30 at most tapas restaurants in Texas.
