Must order Mix appetizers had little bit of everything, they had marinated Raw shrimp if you love raw fish you would love it, so fresh. Had coconut green curry not my favorite but it was ok. And all other things that we order is absolutely taste. Will be back soon!!

Absolutely loved it! The best food and service I’ve ever had! The place is small but very nice and cozy beautifully decorated! The menu has plenty of great options and our server was very friendly and helpful with deciding what to order!the food came out quickly and it was absolutely delicious! Perfect spice’s and flavorful! The service was really amazing, everyone was absolutely amazing, they kept cleaning up and asked if we needed anything else! I highly recommend this place!

Great delicious authentic Thai food. We enjoyed our first time here. Try the mix appetizer. Any curry is good. Crab fried rice is to die for!!! They were generous with the crab meat. Corkage fee for a bottle is 20$.

Despite the colorful appearance, these dishes were a bit light in taste and spice for me. I do recommend the appetizer platter though, as some of the bites (like the thai sausage) had great depth and flavor that the other dishes lacked. The decor is cozy and the Boran staff is kind.

Staff were welcoming and nice, and overall the atmosphere was super pleasant whether you're eating out with your girlfriends, or if you're on a date. I brought my new (at the time) boyfriend here for his birthday and he also enjoyed the food and experience and he wasn't too big on Thai food before coming here so that says something. If you do like Thai food then this is the best place to become a regular at or to save for special occasions. I think the prices here are fair and not too inflated for the portion sizes you receive. If you think you'll like it, you definitely will so come try them out for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Authentic Thai food found in Brooklyn! Love everything here. We ordered all of this for 4 people and could barely finish everything. The appetizer platter is so worth it! The lettuce wrap is spicy but so good!!! I think that was the star of the show. Fish was good but it did get cold pretty fast by the time it hit our table. Tom yum soup was a generous portion. Service was good and must have the Thai tea!

The appetizer platter is a must-get and is only served as a dine-in option, which was both aesthetically pleasing and delicious with its multiple dipping sauces. The duck curry was decent but not my favorite, for the bamboo shoots was a bit too overpowering in my opinion. My favorite was the special fried rice which I forgot the name of, but if you show them the picture they should be able to tell you. It comes with a mixture of ingredients and you simply mix them together, which ultimately gives you a variety of textures, flavors, and vibrant colors, highly recommended! If you're looking for authentic Thai food, this is the place to try. It is run by Thai staff. It was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon but it was one of the Thai restaurants I wanted to try out in Park Slope. Place isn't too big and can probably seat less than 10 parties at once. I ordered the Meang Pla Tod appetizer, which is basically a mackerel salad, Khao Knook Gapi Boran (one of their specials) and Mackerel Fried Rice. Presentation of food was A+++ and the taste matches its presentation. The mackerel salad was delicious and refreshing. I loved their spicy green sauce. All their sauces that accompany the dishes are pretty spicy but so good. The mackerel fried rice was one of the best fried rice I've had. The mackerel serving was generous -- slices on top of the bed of fried rice and surprised to find mackerel bites within the fried rice as well. The Khao Knook Gapi Boran comes deconstructed style but you mix all the veggies, egg and meat up with their sauce and you have flavor packed in a plate. All the dishes we tried were so good. Can't rave about this place enough and can't wait to come back and try different menu items.

The good: *Tofu Prik King - shrimp paste forward. *Shrimp Roll - big juicy shrimp. *Khao Knook Gapi (fried rice with shrimp paste, sweetened pork, chicken sausage) - very tasty, flavorful, pork and sausage were very soft and tender. Quite a uncommon dish I think? *Issan classic (platter of grilled chicken, papaya salad, larb moo) - the grilled chicken was great with fresh herb flavor larb was spicy yum. The Okayed: *Curry Puff *Chicken Satay *Mixed Vegetables The bad: - how can they mess up these two classic dish? *Pad Thai Boran - so bland... .. *Panang Curry - very watery and no flavor.

Wonderful and well flavored food with more unique couplings of ingredients than many of their competitors in the area. The decor is deceptively simple and ultimately creates a warm and comforting environment for dining. Our servers were a speedy and friendly.

As a fellow Southeast Asian, this is my all time favorite restaurant in all of New York, period! I go here on my birthday every year because I love them so much! As much as I want to gatekeep this restaurant, I also want them to blow up. I always get their Meang Pla Tod, which I've even tried to order at other Thai restaurants and they don't even know what that is, if that says anything...I also get their pad Thai with seitan, maing mushroom appetizer, and their Goong Chae Nam Pla (raw shrimp) appetizer, which may sound a bit scary, but is seriously the most delicious thing I've ever tried! I need to try more on the menu honestly how much I come here, but I also crave their Meang Pla Tod and pad Thai every single time that I never end up getting anything else (the Meang Pla Tod is a huge serving). However, I know for a fact that their other dishes are just as delicious! This is truly an authentic Thai restaurant that is not appealing to Americans!

After many lackluster experiences, I've found my go-to Thai takeout spot! I've pretty much been happy with everything save for one massive exception-- the seafood ginger dish (squid, shrimp, mussels). It sucked. I recommend you skip it! That aside, it's all good! I've had and enjoyed the pad Thai Boran, pad si ew, red curry, and a chicken dish that I'm not seeing on the menu now but is so moist and comes with yummy sauces. I've never dined in but I've ordered from here at least three times and will continue to do so. Might eventually stop in if I'm in the area!

Fantastic Thai food. We've dined in and ordered delivery several times. Both experiences are consistent good, although food is always slightly more fresh when you eat at the restaurant. My favorite dishes are the musamam curry and the pad thai---- they put their own spin on it. You're in for a treat!

Walking up to the little storefront it doesn't look like much, but oh boy this place DELIVERS on FLAVOR, quality, quantity, service, and it's easy to understand why they have won awards for one of Brooklyn's Best Restaurants. There is seating in front of the place, and that's fine if it's your jam. We sat inside in the cozy seating and nicely decorated main space. We had curry dishes that were nothing short of magical. Literally wanted to lick the pineapple bowl clean. It was the perfect spicy-salty-sweet. Food was fresh, service was friendly and efficient, and although we didn't partake at our dinner, they do have a nice looking wine and drink list. Authentic and delicious.

This is a bustling little place, tho they do have seating outside. Don't be surprised if you come during peak time and you have to wait for a table. The dish that everyone orders is the Pad Thai, which comes wrapped in an omelet. Very good. We also got the Massaman curry which is my go-to dish and it didn't disappoint. The noise volume got loud depending upon how many groups were sitting and how close they were. At one point I could hear the couple next to us better than my dinner partner. Oh well. Small price to pay for a good Thai meal.

Delicious -- super flavorful without an overpowering level of spice. The spicy pork wraps were a bit tamer than the waitress warned me about but packed tons of flavor. The fried mushroom salad was also really flavorful though not spicy. Service was prompt and seems like a chill place. Not the biggest fan of that part of Brooklyn but would definitely go back if I'm in the area

Boran prides itself in serving authentic Thai food and is run by Thai staff. I can't be the judge of the former but the latter is definitely true. Regardless if Boran's food is authentic or not, the food seemed to lack minor components in the final execution. My family and I were seated immediately at a table for four on a Wednesday evening (no wait). We ordered one large tom yum soup, a mixed appetizer platter, khao soy kai, pad thai boran, and khao knook gapi boran. The best part of the meal was the appetizer platter with a variety of fried crab dumplings, curry puffs, chicken and beef satays served with different dipping sauces. The appetizers had a good balance of sweet and savory flavors, the fried appetizers are crispy, and the meat is tender. The rest of the food either was too salty or too sweet. The tom yum soup was too salty and too sour, the entrees were not salty at all. It's as if the kitchen at Boran misplaced the salt shaker when they served our entrees. While the seasoning of the food could use some work, the flavors were all there. Aside from the food, the service was friendly and the ambiance is cozy casual. For a quick meal, Boran is a fine choice. But I don't see myself coming back.

This is a genuine spot. The food is authentic with some more popular westernized options as well. My Thai folks recommend it as one of the best in Brooklyn for that authentic factor. The ambience indoors is cute fine normal. The service is constantly on point and meets those nyc standards of support me but also leave me along and let me eat. The food and price is the reason to go. Support this place it's a gem.

There was nothing wrong with the food here, the food is quite delicious. However... their customer service is quite unsavory, we were treated as a nuisance despite the restaurant not being busy, and if you aren't paying attention, the waitress will automatically hand you the machine to tip despite the auto gratuity! I'm aware that it's up to us to realize how much the bill comes out to but it's completely shady to charge us auto-gratuity and not inform us while handing us a prompt to tip ON TOP OF the auto gratuity total! The only mention of auto-gratuity is at the last page at the end, and there is no itemized bill given at payment to make sure your bill total is correct.

The food okay. It's a small restaurant and not super crowded when we were there. Unfortunately there was a strong smell of dirty rag and cleaner at our table. We were near their bar/service area, which could be why.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants! I waited about an hour for table but it's totally worth it. I was blown away by the delicious appetizer samplier! This is definitely a must order because it's just too good. The problem is I loved all the appetizers and wanted more of each. Most people normally order the classic Tom Yum Soup but I highly recommend the Tom Kha Soup! It's a coconut based soup with mushroom and galangal; it's really tasty with great mix of sour flavor but its not overpowering. The papaya salad was fresh with deep flavors but be sure you are ok with spice before you order. Lastly the mango sticky rice was yummy; I always order this dish when I eat at Thai restaurant and in my opinion this is the best mango sticky rice I've had in NYC. Came here in the middle of the day so place was empty. They have a great lunch special during the week till 3:30 pm. You get one entree, soup and a single piece of a spring roll for about $16. I got the beef with garlic sauce and appetizer platter to share. The appetizer platter was a showstopper and is massive, can feed 2-3 people. The beef with garlic sauce was ok, wish there was more sauce. Great service and easy parking are other pros. Would go back again but try a different meal.

We spent the afternoon browsing in Carroll Gardens and came upon this delightful gem. Boran is a small Thai restaurant with amazing food and service. I learned Boran means ancient! We started with the grilled honey pork appetizer. The pork was so tender, sweet , yet tangy. The food was presented so nicely. The pork was on top of banana leaves. A small bowl of rice was hidden with a leaf topper. So attractive and unique. For our main course we had the Pad Thai. The pad thai was covered with a egg topping, kind of like an omelet, so unique. It was very flavorful. Both dishes had were wonderfully presented. I would highly recommend stopping here for some authentic Thai food, presented beautifully.

This place has the most amazing curry!!! Have tried red and green and definitely recommend

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and was seated immediately. Also, as it was extremely cold, there was a lower waittime. Our table of four ordered two mixed appetizer platters, a large tom kha soup, 1 Isaan Classic and a beef pad thai, oh, and a large thai tea. First, the thai tea was massive...it's a huge beer mug. How it tastes, I'm not sure, but my friend liked it and has gotten it before. The soup came right after. It didn't have too strong of a coconut flavor, but the slight tartness made the soup pretty good where it's not overpowering. The chicken was slightly overdone, but that's just the texture of chicken breast. The mixed appetizer platters were the tables favorite. The chicken skewers were tender, and what's supposed to be beef skewers did not taste like beef... The isaan classic was an interesting dish. You could make your own wrap using everything given or eat it separately. The pad thai came out reminding us of a Japanese dish. Taste wise, I don't recall it being extravagant. Overall, I would come by again, but be warned, parking is difficult on most days, and this is a rather small, intimate dining place, so there could be a wait.

Great little Thai restaurant in Carroll gardens! It doesn't look like somewhere really special from the exterior, but once the food arrives, you'll be singing a different tune. We loved everything we got! Portions are super hefty and none of us could even finish our food 1) the pad Thai Boran with Seitan- came wrapped inside an omelette! Was really good mix of flavors and delicious 2) massaman curry, was so incredibly flavorful and had so much chicken in it! Also came with a side of really delicious roti, which was super flaky and delicious 3) panang curry, also incredibly flavorful with chicken and had an amazing color Prices were between 16-18$ per entree. Would definitely recommend this place!

Is Thai, the new Italian? This is a good place to discuss this. Also, what would that tell us about US, or the Western world. The food here is exceptional. The papaya salad is fresh and deep in flavors. The duck is crispy, tender and acid-light, in what seems to be an impossible convening of culinary joys. The curries are mild and intense, and the shrimps and pineapple one comes inside a voided pineapple! This restaurant is not a restaurant. It is an institution to make cosmopolitanism the normal in Carrol Gardens' families and non-familiar-domestic-associations. It delivers more that what is served in house. No reservations needed, one just waits for a table to be ready. And here comes a third unique feature: here the kitchen is incredibly fast. In 5-10 min you get your entire order at once! The table becomes a landscape. Service are there to make everything work fast. They are amazing. The efficacy, amazing food and impact bringing cosmopolitismo to the average Carrol Gardeners -if such a thing could exist- makes this what western should be. This is the real UN in New York. Let's all advocate for the UN general assembly to be replaced by Boran, so that the countries if the world could get together chewing sticky rice. The problems of the world are caused by the fact that their leaders need to eat salami wraps from a near by deli, in the breaks of negotiations at UN! With Boran's duck at the UN, the world's horizon will be in ne of infinite justice and happiness.

The interior was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The pad Thai had a very unique presentation. My son says it was fancy and cool looking. It was wrapped in an egg wrapper, which was "awesome." It was very flavorful and had tons of veggies. The papaya salad, although not on the menu, was very good. Overall, it was a very good experience. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best casual Thai places I have been to in NYC. Their menu has your classics but also unique specials, and each dish comes thoughtfully plated. The container for the white rice that came alongside my friend's dish (massaman curry) was sooo cute. 5/5 - Khao Knook Gapi Boran - the mix of rice, tasty sausage, pork with refreshing cucumbers and mango really made this dish pop! Absolutely loved the taste and they don't skimp on ingredients here. Be warned, the peppers definitely hold a punch. We came hungry for dinner and left full with no regrets. I look forward to coming back for more!

I was here with two others as the menu looked more unique and the reviews singed high praise. The portion sizes are large and the food is different from other Thai places and in a good way. Overall everything was quite good. The prices are a tad high but for the portion size and especially for being in a nice part of Brooklyn, I don't have issues with them. I personally had a butterfly pea flower tea to drink which was lightly sweet with a bit of sourness from lime. It was fine. We started with a few appetizers, the Miang Pla Too and the Chicken satay. Miang Pla Too- Thai mackerel lettuce wrap with noodle, ginger, red onion, lime, peanut, and Thai seafood sauce This is one of the more unique dishes. Nice tasty combination of a lot of different flavors including sour, spicy, pickled, and sweet. Chicken satay- Peanut sauce and pickled cucumber The satay here was very moist and the pickled cucumber/achat went well with it. My only complaint is that the peanut sauce was a tad too thin/watery compared to some places and the chicken needed perhaps a bit more grill marks (more like one of my dishes below) with the latter being a personal preference. In terms of mains, I got the Taste of Isan while others got the Khao knook gapi boran and the Fresh Young Coconut Green Curry with chicken. Tastes of Isan- Thai northeastern food with somtum (papaya salad), roasted chicken, spicy minced pork, sticky rice. Somtum/green papaya salad. The somtum here was nicely flavored and it reminded me of the one from som tum der (perhaps a bit less spicy here.) It went well with the other dishes (and especially with the sticky rice as expected.) Roasted chicken- Said roasted chicken (or gai yang I believe) was served with lettuce wraps as well as a sweet chili sauce. The chicken was very moist and it went well with the wraps outside of it being a tad messy to eat. Nice grill marks also. Spicy minced pork: As expected, this was larb or a cold pork salad. This was also excellent and very well flavored. Khao Knook Gapi Boran (Signature of Boran-) Fried rice with shrimp paste and mix sliced shallots, cucumber, shredded, green mango, dried shrimps, sweetened pork, eggs, chicken sausage. I tried a very little bit of this though I couldn't exactly try more than a bite ortwo. Very nice mix of flavors and an interesting tasty texture. Would order this next time. Fresh Young Coconut Green Curry- Choice of chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu. Fresh goong with coconut, eggplant with green curry, bamboo shoot, and basil Said person got this with chicken. The curry as expected had pretty light spices. It wasn't to my cup of tea (as I tend to prefer spicier Thai food) but it was still good and the portion size as per the other dishes was big. For dessert we got two, the coconut rice pudding and then pandan flavored coconut jam with roti. The former was more akin to a coconut custard found in many places and it was topped with some type of unknown fruit (maybe Mango but it could have been some other tropical fruit) and it was very tasty. The other dish was served in a very pretty container with the pandan flavored jam (or kaya in Malaysian spots) being an excellent version; not being too overly sweet. Both were good with me preferring the latter as I love kaya and the others preferring the former. Overall I don't have many complaints. For the portion size and unique flavors, this is easily the best Thai food I have had in Brooklyn so far. I can see why most people love this place. Only a couple minor issues with two exceptionally good mains and one very good appetizer. Mid 4.

Delivery review -- beef salad was literally indistinguishable as beef. More pork like, maybe but not even that -- gray and mushy. There was one piece that kind of disintegrated in my mouth and I had to spit it out. Pad Thai was so so but the shrimp were not very good -- I was still reeling from the beef though. The laarb was fine -- a bit too cold, definitely straight out of the fridge. Husband said basil chicken was fine. Delivery was fast.

Recently I stopped off here and got the Isan Classic and the Appetizer Mix. All I have to say is this, they REALLY give you your money's worth. The Mixed Appetizers had the following: Tapioca ball with pork inside Grilled Moo Ping Chicken Satay Thai Sausage Deep Fried Wonton Battered Shrimp Everything in that dish was good, the satay and moo ping were nice and tender. The Shrimp was huge and tasty. But the mvp was definitely the sausage, it had so much flavor and you could taste the Lemongrass in it. It had enough heat to feel it without being too hot or too mild. The Issan Classic had A grilled style Chicken similar to a moo ping but chicken instead. It was tender, juicy and flavorful. It also had a Som Tum/Papaya Salad, sweet, spicy, cool and really good. You could taste the fish sauce. It also had ground pork which was pretty well seasoned. I ended up putting it on my Salad. Overall: A winner, will definitely go back to again.

Came here for a late lunch during the week after Christmas with family of 4. We ordered 3 apps and 3 main dishes of many varieties. The challenge for us is that we have eaters that want very spicy and some that do not like spice at all. This was a perfect restaurant that was able to advise us on what to order for varying pallets and all very amazing! We had Num Tom, Chicken Satay (probably the best I've ever had), Chicken Larb, Masannam Curry, Pla Lad Prick (boneless fish), and Khao Soy Kai. All the good was amazing and the service was also great. Bonus stars for great presentation of all the dishes. Highly recommend.

Really great Thai food. Dishes actually have spice to them when they say they will which is more rare than it should be! Their pad Thai is always juicy and properly seasoned. Their mango sticky rice is 10/10. I love their Penang and red curries. Overall great meal whenever I order from here or dine in.

I was meandering around Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens with a friend in search of good Thai food, when we eventually found ourselves at Boran. While I had a specific dish in mind before we arrived, quite a few options on the menu, particularly some of the curries and vegetarian plates, caught my eye. Boran is more vegetarian-friendly than many Thai restaurants, offering both steamed and fried tofu or seitan with several items. I opted for the Gang Keow Wan (green curry) with fried tofu. It contained bamboo shoot, eggplant, bell pepper, and basil, and included rice on the side. The curry was fragrant and flavorful, and the portion size was fair for the price. Personally, I would have preferred more eggplant, but other than that, I can't complain. Boran satisfied my craving for curry that night and convinced me to return the next time I'm in the neighborhood and in the mood for Thai food.

Really tasty Thai food with a good outdoor setup. I particularly enjoy this place because many of the dishes are Thai spicy. The Fresh Young Coconut Green Curry is my current favorite; Red Curry also hit the spot. I didn't really care for the Nam Ngeaw. They seem to have a very busy take out service and they do like to close on time, so don't plan on coming 15 minutes before they close, they won't be able to serve you. Can't blame them.

Beautifully situated and decorated. Wine margarita was different and refreshing. The varietal app plate was gorgeous and tasty. Especially the tiny savory gluten balls and the sausage. We also loved the fried curry puff skin. Tamarinds duck was delectable furnished w 2 pails of rice that made the presentation adorable. Really vibing this spot turning out flavorful Thai dishes in a lovely somewhat subdued romantic atmosphere.

An amazing restaurant for some authentic Thai food. The staff was super nice and friendly. The food came out in a timely manner and the price was super decent for the neighborhood and compared to some other Thai restaurants in the city. The Thai iced teas were HUGE. Most Thai iced teas you get in the city are usually filled with ice and very minimal drink or watered down; however, the iced tea here was plentiful, flavorful, and most definitely not watered down. The larb was SPICY! But, it was a great spice, one that kept your mouth salivating and wanting more. Get this! it was flavorful and the sticky rice was a great contrast since the dish was pretty spiced up. We also got the Maing Pla Too, which was Thai Mackerel with lettuce wrap, noodles, ginger, red onion, turmeric, peanuts, all served with a side of Thai seafood sauce. The sauce definitely had a kick to it, but balanced out the fish taste. This was a good dish, but we could have skipped it. The pad Thai (Boran special) was on the sweeter side. Because we ordered dishes that had the other flavors (tangy, spicy, etc.), the sweetness of the pad Thai dish wasn't that bad as a contrast; however, alone, it would have been too sweet. We also ordered the deep fried boneless Dorado fish. I hoped the entire fish was deep fried because there were definitely pieces of the fish still on the bones that could have been friend. It took a minute to wrangle the rest of the flesh out. The herb vegetable was a nice touch; however, the pieces of raw ginger was little too pungent and it left an overwhelming taste of it afterwards. Otherwise, the fish is worth getting. It does come with a heaping side of rice. Lastly, we ordered the mango sticky rice. Great end to the meal, must order. Fresh, sweet mangoes. The presentation for all the dishes were on point! This is definitely worth a visit!

Some reviews mentioned that the food was on the sweet side/too sweet - this is definitely true, but it also didn't affect my enjoyment of the dishes too much. Overall, the food is good and I'd be returning to try some different items! Mix Appetizer Platter ($20): you should absolutely get this! I love when restaurants have sampler platters of all their appetizers, as I normally want to try everything before committing to a whole plate of it, you know? There's two of each item. The standouts were the thai sausage and the grilled pork skewer. 10/10 would order those items separately again! Thai sausage is super lemongrassy, the pork skewer is juicy and has a wonderful char. From this platter, the grilled chicken satay was extremely rubbery, the curry puffs are standard, and the deep fried spring rolls weren't the best either. I kept thinking the circular one would be crab rangoon, which it wasn't. The sauces accompanying each appetizer were all quite sweet so I didn't end up using much except for the grilled honey pork one. Duck Curry ($19): Boran was super duper generous with the amount of duck given! It's all hidden underneath the platted slices. The curry is pretty good (even better the next day!) and has bamboo shoots, peppers, and pineapple. Hate cooked fruits but surprisingly the bites of pineapple were actually good! The curry isn't too creamy or rich, but has a good flavor. Not spicy, sadly. Meang Pla Tod $24: Boran specialty. Aka deep fried dorado fish. This is the one where the sauce really didn't do it for me, as it's too sweet. I enjoyed the fried fish and all the toppings per bite, but probably should've picked a basil version! Presentation is on point tho! Fish could also be a bit juicier, but I haven't had fried fish in so long so this hit that craving. It's crispy, yet doesn't have that oily taste per bite.

We ended up at Boran since the wait at Ugly Baby would have been far too long. I think the expectations were set high, and they fell short of those expectations. Hence the 3 stars. The service left a bit to be desired, with a waitress who wasn't particularly helpful. I do have to add that another waiter who walked around seemed to be doing a better job. The outdoor seating area had a fly problem, with mosquitoes buzzing around too. While I'm not sure if it's fair to blame the restaurant for that, it does seem that such matters ought to be handled by them, anyway. As for the food, the appetizer mix is a great choice if you wish to sample various Thai dishes. It does feel like an entree, and is priced as such. The Pad Thai was okay, and I did appreciate that peanuts and spices were placed separately on the plate. I have certainly had better Khao Soi (consider Pig and Khao's), however. The portions are large. So, if there are two of you, don't get two entrees on top of the appetizer mix!

I absolutely LOVE Boran. I am a big Thai food lover, so I'm very critical of Thai food. They hit the nail on the head every time. Their service is really good, they are friendly and pleasant. The decor is also really nice and that of Thai style. The restaurant isn't huge but it's a favorable size where you can feel homely and hang with friends or your date.

This place is amazing. You couldn't ask for a more traditional and authentic Thai restaurant. Everyone is so genuinely nice and the service is amazing. 10/5 stars! Would return 100% The coconut drink is delicious and I can't wait to try all their dishes.

This is probably my third time coming back here. Def some of my fave Thai food in the city. They have so much to offer but I'd say their show stopper is definitely the Pad Thai Boran. The Pad Thai is wrapped in the omelette instead of mixed in. Had a group of 7 with me this time and all our dishes tasted great. You know it's good when people get silent after the food arrives. Highly recommend anything on the menu. But I like their curries and fish. This time I had the Khao Knook Gapi Boran; Dorada fish that is deep fried with fish sauce and mint. Comes with some lettuce leaves to wrap the fish. Def would come back again. Not only for the show stopping presentation but the deep flavors they get out of their food. Cheers

Nice quaint restaurant in brooklyn neighborhood. Small seating area available but most people take out from here anyway. Didnt get too busy sitting in there. I ordered the Nam Prik aong and sai aua, and it was delicious. The only thing is they overcooked the steamed veggies; they were like mush. Im someone who prefers a little crunch to my broccolli so that wasnt the best. I was also here with my cousin, and she got the grilled thai steak (pictured behind my dish) and the fried shrimp cakes (which i forgot to take a photo of). Both appetizers were delicious. The steak was a bit tough and overcooked but the sauce it came with was deliciousss with a good kick. Both appetizers came with a hefty amount and with fresh veggies. Honestly they were good enough to serve as an entire meal for my cousin. Overall I recommend this place. Very flavorful food.

I got it as delivery and everything was delicious. The red curry, roti, sticky rice and grilled honey pork - all very good.

When I came back from a whirlwind Thailand trip when travel restrictions were enforced by the agent Orange I was ruined for Thai food. I spent about a year lamenting the terrible situation that was the flavor profile of American Thai food (it's sugary I presume). But I also was on a quest to find specifically pad Thai kor hai which is pad Thai finished off by being tucked into scrambled eggs. My quest was unsuccessful but I had found a more fancy passable version at a fancy Thai place in the city. Problem is that this specific pad thai is made on the street and that's what gives it a bit of delish flair. Making it "fancy" kind of diminishes that extra ooooo factor of being delicious street food. I was pleasantly surprised to find this again after all the craziness of the 20's (so far) and for delivery in my neighborhood to boot. I usually dislike pad Thai (too sugary here in the US) and it is kind of that way but the egg brings me back to those Bangkok streets in a way that I celebrate.

Great place that's totally worth the subway schlep if you're not local to the area. Healthy spice level and dishes are bursting with flavor without getting overly salty. - glass noodle salad was delicious but definitely had little too strong a kick for one of us. Leftovers mixed up with sugar snap peas the next day were delicious. - fish ginger Boran was truly satisfying. Lemon adding acid with a touch of bitter, fish sauce giving umami and nice bit of salt, and chili for kicks. - mackerel was low on spice level and high on flavor. Great addition to the table and something I haven't run across before on other menus, which made it double special.

Really amazing authentic Thai cuisine. (Not your regular generic pad Thai place) I really like all of their dishes. Have been a few times now. Would recommend pad see ew and Any fried fish dish.
