The Best Budget-Friendly, Affordable Restaurants in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"Abu Jemil, the Syrian-born owner of Borjstar, serves Arabic-style shawarma in the South Bay. The shop’s chicken and beef — both are mixed with lamb — are served on a plate or made into shawarma wraps with thin, delicate flatbreads. Everything is priced at $16 and under." - Eater Staff

Borjstar Shawarma Shop - Review - Gardena - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you’ve wondered where to find fantastic shawarma in the South Bay, plan a trip to Borjstar. This low-key Garden strip mall spot, run by the former owner of a shawarma spot in the Netherlands, serves Syrian-style wraps and plates filled with juicy chicken or beef shaved from spinning meat towers. The tightly bundled wraps with fries and garlic sauce are tasty, but we’d nudge the truly hungry to the shawarma plate, which comes with flavorful rice, hummus, pita, and a heap of crunchy pickles. Plus, if you’re feeling indecisive, the owners will happily hand you a freshly carved sample to help you decide." - Garrett Snyder

Google
I went here for lunch and I got a half chicken with rice and absolutely delicious garlic and spicy sauce which I loved the price was very fair for the amount of food I got and quality. I will definitely be back soon to try some more things if you’re looking for a good lunch for a good price this is definitely the spot. Also the staff were very friendly and the food was very fresh.

Google
First time her and surely won’t be my last. As soon as I walked in, Ahmed greeted me and displayed amazing customer service. Give that man his kudos and a raise! The food was beyond my expectations! Great food and great team! 10/10!

Google
Fantastic Food & Great Value! We visited this small Mediterranean spot back-to-back after trying their absolutely delicious rotisserrie chicken and flavorful Mandi rice. The combo is a must-try — tasty, filling, and very reasonably priced. Special callout for spicy and garlic dips. The prices overall are great for the quality and portion sizes. What really stood out, besides the food, was the warm service and the team’s confidence in what they serve — and rightfully so! We were just visiting the area, but we’ll definitely be back next time we’re around. Highly recommended!

Google
The beef wrap was amazing! The meat was so tender and flavor. When we walked in the owner greeted us and asked if it was our first time. Upon learning it was indeed our first visit he gave us a sample of the chicken and beef. Very warm and welcoming! However, my dad got the half chicken and it was pretty dry and the flavor wasn't great either. Prices are fair and the location is clean. I'll be back for the beef wrap but will probably only ever get that.

Google
This restaurant is great! The employees are friendly and always smiling, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. The place is always clean, and the food tastes good. However, the prices are a bit high, $12 with tax for a sandwich feels expensive. That said, I highly recommend the whole chicken, it's delicious and offered at a very reasonable price.

Google
Amazing food!! Only $15 for a loaded chicken kebab platter, which was outstanding. The chicken was juicy and tender, the hummus was creamy and flavorful, the pita was fantastic, the salad refreshing and the sauces were finger licking good. Highly highly recommend.

Google
I recently made a mega-list of shawarma in LA and Orange County on the subreddit r/FoodLosAngeles. This place made the short list and is one of my all-time favorite places in LA. Here's what I said: If I do another report on beef/lamb shawarma, this one will certainly take the top spot. Honestly, the beef knocked my socks off. The chicken was also great. The top three were all tough calls. Well worth the trip to Gardena! (I had to include a picture of the beef shawarma because it is so delicious). Food: Impeccable Ambience: Clean fast food joint in a strip mall Sides/accoutrement: Good Style: Syrian Food reviewed: Arab-style (saj, sliced) chicken shawarma (served with fries, thum, pickled radishes and cucumber) Other recommended items: The beef shawarma wrap!!!

Google
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Burjstar Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The moment I entered, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, characterized by tasteful decor and soft lighting that created a cozy yet vibrant setting. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, making sure that I felt welcomed throughout my visit. I ordered a selection of dishes, including roasted chicken, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and rice. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The roasted chicken was particularly noteworthy—perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned just right. The beef shawarma was also impressive, with tender, flavorful meat that paired well with the accompanying sauces. However, while I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken shawarma, I felt it could benefit from a bit more spice to elevate its flavor profile. Despite this minor observation, the overall quality of the food was outstanding, and it did not detract from my enjoyment of the meal. In addition to the delicious food, the exceptional service and inviting ambiance made for a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend Burjstar Restaurant for anyone seeking a satisfying meal in a pleasant setting. I look forward to returning and trying more of their menu offerings.

Yelp
First, let me give a massive shoutout to our guy, Ahmed. Ahmed greeted us with open arms (metaphorically speaking) and the world's biggest smile as soon as we entered. He made my wife and I feel like family right away. Ahmed, if you're reading this, know that you are the best in the business regarding service! Okay, the food. With shawarma in the name, we knew that it was going to be good. But my god. That sh** slapped. It was so scrumptious. Everything--the shawarma, the hummus, the pita, the Arabic salad, the sauces--was incredible. Mixed together, we had a stacked plate that sent us on an incredible and fulfilling trip to flavor-town. The food is Syrian-inspired, and you can tell that there is a lot of love put into each shawarma plate. I wish my wife and I lived closer. We'd eat here multiple times a week if we could! This is now, without a doubt, one of my favorite spots in the entire LA area.

Yelp
Used to love Borjstar but after today's visit, I don't plan on coming back anytime soon or maybe at all. Ordered food to go as we always do, first thing my husband noticed the people serving him weren't the regular servers, 2. We went to a nearby park to eat our food, when we opened my husbands plate "beef shawarma plate" the presentation looked very sloppy, there was an overwhelming amount of raw onions, there was only turnips on the veggie square, and they didn't add any pita slices. 3. My chicken shawarma wrap which WAS my favorite was also not up to par. Pieces of the chicken meat seemed soft but not in a good way, almost like an undercooked way. 4. They only gave us 1 napkin for an order of beef shawarma plate and 3 chicken wraps. Not cool. Anyway my husband wondered if they had possibly changed owners. I don't know but all I know is the quality taste and love in the presentation of the food was definitely not there today.

Yelp
Slowly rotating piles of spit roasting meat. Who doesn't love the sight of that? Also, who knew Gardena has so many great places to eat? As a plate or in a wrap, great balance of roasted meaty goodness, creamy sauciness and zesty veg with an herbaceous finish. Breaking it down, the beef shawarma has the right balance of lean beef and fat to keep it plenty moist. The chicken version, while less fulfilling is still well seasoned good eats. The mendi rice a great foil. Extremely flavorful, loaded with aromatic spices including cumin, coriander, cardamom and turmeric that add so much flavor to the beef shawarma. Well made hummus with a nice puddle of peppery olive oil, good medley of zesty pickled veg. and muhammara bread (a type of unleavened flat bread). Adding the tahini sauce to the chicken plate adds great richness that elevates the entire plate. Fast, friendly and welcoming service. Efficient takeaway. Filling plates averaging $17, a great bargain. Multi visit worthy.

Yelp
Borjstar has some solid vegan options. There's no denying that Gardena is lacking in plant-based options, so when I started hearing good things about this spot, I had to try it. I've since been back over 10+ times and very much recommend it to everyone. They aren't fully vegan, but my go-to vegan picks are the Falafel Wrap *pro-tip: add french fries inside* and the Fatoush salad. The food is great and always tastes freshly prepared. The staff is genuinely happy to see and feed you. 10/10

Zeeshan Q.

Yelp
Borjstar offers some superb halal chicken and beef shawarma, rotisserie chicken, chicken skewers, and falafel. Their chicken or beef shawarma wraps are delicious, packed full of thinly sliced meat, vegetables, and sauce. They also offer an amazing $10 combo with the wrap, fries, and a drink. Be sure to order on the phone or in person to get this deal. If you live in the South Bay, I definitely recommend you check them out

Yelp
I was starving and had some time before an appointment so I made a yelp search for food and this place popped up. Mediterranean is my fav, they had 5 stars so I decided to try it. So disappointing!! Friendly staff. The blandest chicken shawarma plate I have ever eaten. Zero seasoning on the chicken. Even the salad was boring with a very light oil and vinegar dressing. I was so sad when I ran out of hummus and the garlic sauce. Won't be back.
google avatar

Lou C.

Yelp
Place was closed for a few weeks, but they are back in business. Love getting the shawarma plates. The rotisserie chicken dinner is a great value. The wraps are a quick and easy on the go meal. Workers are nice. I remember coming in when they had a frozen ice cream machine and a worker took the time to make me a cup. This place is my go to Mediterranean food spot.
google avatar

Kelsey C.

Yelp
Walk in to a warm greeting and a sampler of their meats and rice. The owner wants you to try before you buy to make sure you like it, but I think it just makes you buy more food. That spit-fresh meat is irresistible and you can literally see the juicing trickling from both the chicken and the beef. I can't tell which meat I like best. The Beef Plate is the best thing I've eaten this month, and the mendi rice itself is a standout. Mom makes the Hummus, and it is to die for. Both meats make an amazing Shawarma as well. I'm a huge fan of these pickles. They also have fresh Baklava at the counter sometimes. Take advantage if they do. A small shop in a random Gardena strip mall, a hidden gem for sure. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Ted A.

Yelp
The chicken shawarma is excellent. Super tasty and filling without being too salty or greasy. They are cooking the meat right there behind the counter so you know it is fresh. Plus I really like the pita bread with red sauce inside. With the plate, there is a choice of rice or fries but the rice is really good. The portions are generous and at a good price. The first time we went there, they gave us a sample of the chicken and beef to try. Everyone there is super friendly and they prepare the food quickly. The one downside is the location and ambiance. On the past two visits there have been homeless people digging through the trash and pacing back and forth in front of the store. So now, I prefer to just get my food to go. It still tastes great!

Antuan B.

Yelp
Great place to eat. Got to get Ahmed a raise, this guy makes the best shawarma wraps.

Yelp
So good! Hard to find this level of authenticity in the South Bay. I think they are Syrian. Family run and always very sweet. Flavor is on point. I have had their beef/lamb shawarma and chicken. The baba ghanoush is soooo good. I always ask if I can get it with my plate instead of the hummus and salad instead of fries. Once they ran out of chicken shawarma at the end of the night and I was waiting for a pretty long time. Because of the inconvenience they gave me an ENTIRE rotisserie chicken LOL. Def didn't have to but it was a nice gesture. It was very well seasoned and stuffed with bay leaves, lemon and other seasonings. Good option if you're trying to feed lots of people. They also have a free ice cream machine if you want some after your meal. Their hot sauce and toum are both good as well! Plenty of parking.

Yelp
Wanted to give this restaurant a try because of all the good reviews I saw! Maybe Ive hyped myself up but I was a bit disappointed. We got the chicken plate and the beef plate. The meats were bit on the drier side. The meats were well seasoned though and i appreciated that they weren't salty. I wish the pita slices that they give with the plates were a bit fluffier but it was not a good texture.maybe because it was in the to-go containers. Overall it's a pretty decent place to get your Mediterranean food. Staffs were friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
Freshly made food made to order! Delicious and authentic ! The parking lot is horrible but worth it. Exceptional service too friendly and informative. My first time here and its a hidden gem.

Yelp
Super friendly staffs. They offer samplyouto give you an idea of what items you'll like. Ive gotten the chicken shawarma wrap and beef sharwarma plate. They're really flavorful. They have free ice cream but it was broken during our 2nd visit.

Vign V.

Yelp
This place was recommended on a local social media page, and then a couple of days later I found myself right around the corner with a hungry tween in the car who happens to love doner. Serendipity! The food is legit, the beef is particularly good. It was clear as we were looking over the menu that we were first timers and the staff offered us samples and took good care of us. Looking forward to going back!
google avatar

Yelp
If I could give more than 5-stars on Yelp, I would give them 6-stars at minimum. Rarely do you walk into a restaurant having no idea what you want to order and be greeted by the friendliest owners. When you come to Borjstar, you will be treated like family, or at the very least very close friends. As my wife and I came in, we looked like clueless newbies. Will came up and made us feel great, giving us a small sample of their chicken shawarma and it really made our experience a ton better. Will and Jamil run an incredible shawarma shop. The food is phenomenal. We ordered both the chicken shawarma plate and the Arabic chicken shawarma plate. The chicken shawarma is incredibly flavorful and seasoned fantastically. The best part is really how personable the people are. They really make you feel right at home. You really have to come give Borjstar a try. You will not regret it.

Yelp
Delicious great service! Wish I lived closer to this spot, a must try for a satisfying great and tasty meal. No complaints just try it
google avatar

Yelp
If you are looking for a warm, cozy environment, this place is not for you. It's located in a dirty strip mall, in a not so nice part of town. If you're looking for nice flavor and friendly staff, this is it. I ordered the chicken swarma wrap. It was very moist and had great flavor matched with great pickled peppers. The sauces add a nice savory complement. Food was served very quickly and hot. I ordered the most basic thing, but I couldn't help but notice that most all customers were Arabic families. To me, that's a good sign. I would highly recommend this place
google avatar

Yelp
Food is so so good ! Would love to come back , especially for those falafels and baklava

Yelp
Came here because of the good reviews. I haven't gotten shawarma wraps in awhile because most places the meat is sooo dry. I ended up getting the chicken and beef wrap. The beef is juicy, slightly fatty in some pieces but very flavorful. The chicken was really good as well but the beef is juicier. I like how the wraps are grilled and they were larger than I expected. The wraps come with pickle and a lot of meat. I was told traditionally there is no salad in these wraps but you can ask for it. Food comes with garlic and spicy sauces. The garlic sauce isn't as strong as some other places but it doesn't need to be. The spicy sauce is just enough in terms of level of spice. Would definitely add this to the wrap. I was only going to eat 1/2 but ended up eating the whole wrap. Yum! Usually I prefer chicken so would probably still get the chicken wrap next time but then get beef shawarma on a plate instead to better enjoy the meat. The rotisserie chicken wasn't ready when at 10am so probably come at 10:30 to 11am for that. Customer service here is great. They were attentive and friendly. The place is clean and bright. There is an ice cream machine as well. I think you can get free ice cream. :)

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service I would not want to dine there its a great to go place . Ambiance is not the issue it's a normal " ORDER TO GO" spot , but the area is a bit on the sketchy side of town I'd rather order for pick up or have it delviered.
google avatar

Emad R.

Yelp
Can't say enough about this place. Came here a few times and ordered pick-up. Ordered the family meal with the rice, fries, hummus, and whole chicken. The flavor on the chicken is out of this world! Juicy, savory, and full of flavor! And not dry at all. However, they season it they need to continue doing it. Parking is tough because it's a busy shopping plaza but their service is great and so is the food and pricing. Plenty of tables inside if you decide to dine-in. But definitely recommend the family style whole chicken
google avatar

Yelp
Finally, we found our go-to casual middle eastern weeknight takeaway! I'm talking shawarma wraps or a bowl of hummus with chicken or beef shawarma on top and pickles on the side. They are excellent and we've been coming regularly since.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
Tried their beef shawarma wrap. Very delicious, especially when the meat isn't too overcooked. Came with garlic sauce that was good but could use a bit more flavor. The hot sauce is good too but again, could use a bit more flavor. The falafel i didn't really like. Kind of dry and bland. Came with loose sour cream. Will never order again. Ambience is basic, barely any decoration, looks a bit dirty, they shojdl clean the glass doors, very dirty. Overall will come back for the beef wraps. They also have interesting looking desserts

Yelp
Borjstar is a nice counter-service restaurant in a strip mall, with plenty of seating and good service. It took a while to get our food - which was understandable, since a large group had ordered ahead of us - but the staff provided us with some bottles of water to make sure we were okay while we waited. Overall, the food was good! What at first appeared to be small portions ended up being really filling. We got an order of kibbeh for the group, which made a nice accompaniment to our meals. Well-seasoned and well-cooked. My friends each got kapsalon bowls (loaded shawarma fries), and they agreed that while it looked like a small order at first, it was filling, and the meat was good. They weren't impressed with the fries themselves, but they liked everything else about it. I ordered the hummus with shawarma - a satisfying meal, with tender meat, though I wish there had been some lemon juice or something to lighten up the hummus. Check out Borjstar if you can! I'm trying to broaden my culinary horizons, and if you haven't already, you should to. That endeavor led me here, to good food with good people that I might have missed otherwise.
google avatar

Matthew M.

Yelp
This was a very disappointing visit. I came right at opening to hopefully get fresh product and the food quickly. Unfortunately, that was the opposite. The food took longer than usual, and the food was a bit tough and under seasoned. My guess is since they were prepping the huge cone of meat for opening and needed heat to penetrate deep, that messed up the meat for the first few customers. The outside was overcooked which led to dry meat and any seasoning may have been cooked off. Last year, I came here and the food was DELICIOUS. The service was also super friendly and quick. The food was perfectly seasoned and oh so tender. Arguably the best shawarma I've had in my life. So I was a bit saddened with today's visit.
google avatar

Yelp
I did Togo my allergies are wheat gluten dairy and soy my biggest one is soy. The only thing that uses soy oil is their fries. I love how upfront they were about it. I did Togo I got a beef shawarma plate no bread and then a beef Shwarma plate with bread person I was with is fine with it. I loved the attention that was cared for with the food the sides my dad ate everything was seasoned well saffron and it was a good amount between spicy and not. He loved the bread and said it tasted handmade it looked it. He said when he got there it was a wait and very busy. It looked like you could sit there and eat. It is halal certified! On yelp and my dad thinks he saw it in person. Great customer service on the phone and he had it in person. I highly recommend this place! Lots more to try!!
google avatar

Amir S.

Yelp
The service was excellent and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I've only had the beef shawarma, but it was amazing. Highly recommend
google avatar

Yelp
Bursting with flavor and aroma - everything is nicely spiced. Generous portions and very fair prices. Superb customer service and interaction as your plates are created. We were given various samples, sparkling water, and offered soft serve - no room for the latter, definitely next time! I've tried several places in my 5 mile radius and this is now my GO-TO!
google avatar

Carolyn M.

Yelp
Great service and delicious food! They also gave us a sample. The beef here definitely wins over the chicken. The falafel has a great mild flavor with sesame. Their rice is seasoned very well. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
google avatar

Asif I.

Yelp
Delicious food! Great price. Good was prepared fast and fresh. Staff was very friendly! Will visit again!
google avatar

Lily C.

Yelp
Haven't been called habibi in a while! Very friendly service, easy to call in an order and it was ready quick. The picture may not look amazing but the food sure was! The sheesh tawook was juicy and tender, the garlic sauce and their hot sauce were both fantastic. Kapsalon scratches all those delicious meaty cheesy fry desires and comes with bonus veggie freshness. They sadly had run out of both lamb and beef shawarma by 7 pm on a Friday. As the guy joked on the way out, guess we'll have to go back tomorrow.
google avatar

Fatima K.

Yelp
A Diamond in the rough. A very clean and efficient set up. Everything was fresh and nothing sitting under heat lamps. The price point is very reasonable too and the potions are very generous. The chicken was juicy and was seasoned very well. The beef was crispy and just perfect with the rice. Will definitely be back. 10/10
google avatar

Anh L.

Yelp
Great Prices 1/5 Great Portions 2/5 Great Service 3/5 Funny Cook 4/5 Great Taste 5/5 5/5 Go here; you won't be disappointed. If its your first time, they give you a FAT SAMPLE I will not steer you wrong. Get the beef; its more tasty than the chicken thats a little bit drier; however my coworkers preferred the chicken more.
google avatar

David J.

Yelp
7/10/24 If you want quality shawarma, check out Borjstar For a 1st time customer, I got a sample of beef and chicken, both flavorful I got the chicken shawarma plate. The hot sauce was very good with the chicken, more flavor with a little heat The hummus, pickles were very good as well
google avatar

Geraldine P.

Yelp
excellent customer service. the crews are very friendly. It was our first time but he gave us sample of the shawarma. It was yummy!!!! Ordered the family meal for 2. We were fully satisfied!!!! Will def come back again and will recommend to family and friends! Great job Borjstar!!!!!

Yelp
I came here with some family and friends and was impressed by both the food and customer service. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with fries and a side of hummus. Everything was delicious. I loved the sauces they gave us with the food too. The customer service was amazing. The employees working were so helpful, kind and friendly. I would definitely come back here.
google avatar

Nasiha A.

Yelp
Local Shawarma shop Has lots of room to eat inside The customer service was wonderful The staff was so welcoming, kind, hospitable chatting with everyone Gave samples to try I got the chicken shawarma wrap and shawarma chicken plate The chicken was so juicy and flavorful The hummus and ricer were delicious I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu!
google avatar

John N.

Yelp
The best Shawarma in the South Bay. With the friendliest service ever. They might seem aggressive but they want you to try their food, it sells itself. Get the shawarma with beef and you won't be disappointed. The roasted chicken is okay but maybe I got a bad batch. Still a 5 star until I find something better.
google avatar

Eddie D.

Yelp
I decided to try something new and ventured into Borjstar for a taste of Middle Eastern cuisine. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering samples of chicken and beef shawarma to help me decide. I settled on the beef shawarma plate, a generous spread that included thinly sliced beef, rice, creamy hummus, pickled vegetables, and flavored thin pita bread. While the garlic sauce was a bit mild for my liking, I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy sauce and regretted not asking for extra. Although the beef was flavorful, it turned out a bit too dry for my taste. Judging by the positive Yelp reviews and the bustling crowd, it seems other customers really enjoy the food here. Perhaps I simply chose the wrong dish this time around.
google avatar

Navin B.

Yelp
I was expecting great food from this place and drove all the way here to Gardena from Long Beach. I was however not very impressed with the food. I ordered shawarma plates and the chicken was dry mixed with fries with pieces of toasted pita bread etc. $33 for 2 people . I will pass on this and stick to my regular Zankou Chicken in WLA.
google avatar

Noah D.

Yelp
Visiting LA, never went here before, amazing service, so nice and offered free samples of their chicken and beef. We ordered the shawarma, falafel, and platter, all seasoned properly! They make their own balaclava with lots of ghee, delicious. Highly recommended spot.
google avatar

Scott K.

Yelp
Can't recall going to a shawarma shop like this before where they specialize in this - but it's wonderful! I've loved shawarma ever since finding on the street vendors throughout Europe when I was in college 30 years ago... the food here is perfectly spiced and nice portions. The owner came around and gave us sparkling water (in cans) a nice touch. The garlic sauce is creamy and I added to every bite, as well as the other sauce equally great and not overpowering. Inside was ok, a bit plain but they are just getting going. Staff was super friendly and giving our taste samples. At the end they gave a free ice-cream machine to clean the palette - it was a bit icy vs creamy but having it free to customers is a nice touch! My fav was the mixed Arabic plate, give it a try!
google avatar

Bertrand M.

Yelp
I had a fantastic dining experience! It was great both the beef plate and chicken wrap were amazing and the energy and customer service were top-notch. I Would definitely recommend this place. Ambiance would be great to dine in as well.
google avatar

Kyle W.

Yelp
I went here as a better food option near the airport / Hawthorne area - they are known for their rotisserie and the shawarma. My friend and I tried the chicken shawarma plate dish, which comes with hummus, pita bread, rice, and pickled vegetables, and it was fairly filling and good price. I do miss the cheaper halal carts in NYC, but this one will do. The chicken shawarma was flavorful and bonus is that you see them cut it off the spit in front of you. Bonus points is that they give out free ice cream + ice cream cone
google avatar

Adchara D.

Yelp
We ordered the beef wrap, falafel wrap, mendi rice , kapsalon bowl ( chicken)- Excellent service, delicious delicious food. I must try! I hadn't eaten a falafel in over 40 years- this was the best! A hidden jewel in the diverse ethnic food places to eat in Gardena
google avatar

Yelp
I found this place on google and saw their reviews in the beginning I didn't believe the 4.9 stars but when I tried the half a chicken I said I have to try their Shawarma also and I did the very next day and was incredibly good and delicious on top of all great food the hospitality and customer service is amazing Thank you Ahmed

Yelp
I've been on a Mediterranean kick recently! I saw so many reviews raving about this spot so I had to give it a try. The customer service was amazing! I asked the person taking my order what he recommended me to try and he let me sample the chicken and beef to decide. I ended up getting a mix of both the chicken and beef shawarma. Both were really delicious and I couldn't decide lol It was super flavorful and the portions were huge! They provide you with garlic sauce and hot sauce to go with your meal. I wish I asked for more sauce on the side because the meat was a little dry and the additional sauce would've helped. The ambiance is pretty casual, they offer dine in or take out and they also accept Apple Pay. The restaurant is located in a plaza with lots of other shops. The parking lot was pretty busy when I came on a weekend.
