Boskerris Hotel

Boskerris is a lovely hotel run by even lovelier people. We originally had plans to stay down the road at a Sykes Cottages property, but Sykes failed to arrange check-in and could not be reached. A kind local connected us with Boskerris Hotel and they were wonderfully accommodating. The staff are both warm and welcoming while being keenly professional. The hotel itself offers stunning views of the bay from an elegantly curated decor. The rooms are seaside chic and very comfortable. We had a nice relaxing dinner at their in-house restaurant, but their breakfast blew us away. We are very grateful for our cozy morning of surreal views with their delicious Vegetarian breakfast and Eggs Royal. Boskerris Hotel was a pleasant and luxurious oasis. I cannot recommend them enough.

We stayed here in August. A warm and friendly welcome awaits. Anne on reception was very attentive and helpful. Great location, great views and the St Ives to Penzance railway just a few minutes walk away. Beautiful decor and comfortable bed made this holiday quite special. Breakfast was lush. Dinner hit the spot. The wonderful terrace was a great place to drink a tipple and take in the view. The weather was fantastic. Special thanks to all the staff who made our visit to Carbis Bay very memorable.

Wonderful experience from booking to check out. Hotel is beautifully elegant, exceptionally clean, uninterrupted sea views and great food. Staff are awesome, go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I brought my mum here to recoup after treatment and as soon as we arrived we felt so welcome, our every need not only met but exceeded. This truly is a unique hotel experience I highly recommend made exceptional by the lovely staff especially Anne and Eve catering to our every need, Mary with fabulous relaxing beauty treatments, the chef with his big portions! What a find!. Stunning views over the bay. The nearby trainline to St Ives centre (one stop, one pound) is unexpected bonus. Immaculately clean and calming, stylish decor. Wonderful staff and food. We followed an itinerary provided by the hotel and it was fabulous - terrific locations we may not have found ourselves. Thank you, "George"!

Absolutely delightful gem of a hotel with amazing staff. We had the nicest welcome from Anna who greeted us at the door and showed us around the hotel and then to our lovley room overlooking the sea . We had been given an upgrade ! The views from the hotel terrace were stunning overlooking Caribis Bay and St Ives. Well situated for the railway station few minutes walk away . Our room was comfy and cosy with lots of extra touches . The breakfast was delicious and well presented . Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel and look forward to staying again

A small, peaceful & stylish haven in Carbis Bay. Comfortable bed, lovely room, excellent food, great views over the bay from the outdoor terrace, super staff ~ what’s not to like?! A half hour walk along the (hilly in places) SW coast path into St Ives, or a 5 minute walk down to the station for a 5 minute train journey into St Ives. We will be staying again next year!!

Amazing evening meal at this hotel. Food of a very high standard and an experience to remember. Stunning costal views from the restaurant and outside terrace balcony area with plenty of tables to take in the view and relax in a wonderful atmosphere.

The Boskerris is the epitome of fine service and sets the standard very high for other hotels in this category. The experience starts when you walk in and are greeted by the exceedingly fabulous staff (all of them from the check in crew to bartender, wait staff, cleaning staff etc. are ridiculously good) who start taking care of you the moment you step foot through the doors to when you leave. Case in point : we got there sooner than the check in time so had to wait for the room to be readied. We were seated in the guest area which by the way is just the perfect decor to complement the fabulous view of Carbis Bay and offered tea. In the conversation we happened to mention that the spousal unit was vegan...and magically all the hotel staff, even people we had not seen seemed to know about it and importantly remember it when we ordered any food or snacks and made attempts to make sure she had something vegan to consume. The room was spare yet well appointed and lacking for nothing and had a great view of the garden. Morning breakfast is sumptuous with fresh fruit, a killer home made granola, hot breakfast made to order, juices, coffee and tea. Impeccable service is the motto and when your day starts like this, how can it even dare to get bad? The classic English breakfast takes the interpretation of perfectly poached eggs, beautiful toast, charred baby tomatoes on the vine, a grilled portobello, a bit of grilled goat cheese. Of course with the crazy good service, someone had bothered to go and get vegan sausage for my wife which had her swooning. Dinner one night had them making Moroccan veggies for the wife and I had a carpaccio appetizer with a fish for dinner. Everything was perfectly cooked, served and consumed! The entire stay in these altogether pleasant surroundings, with friendly and attentive service capped a perfect holiday. If we win the lotto...we are taking up semi permanent residence there!
