"The embodiment of Bend’s fun-loving outdoor lifestyle, the front patio of the Boss Rambler Beer Club is typically overflowing onto the sidewalk with laughing beer lovers who have stopped there after a day skiing or dirt-biking near Mt. Bachelor. Boss Rambler’s tropical-noted IPAs land in pints alongside mellow summer lagers, fruited beers, and boozy slushies. This summer, Blue Eyes Burger is parked next to the building, bringing its classic, just-plain-good smash burgers, and fries. Other food choices are available at the Lot food carts located a block off Galveston." - Barb Gonzalez, Jeffrey Stull

TLDR: Juicy beers & adorable curb side seating. We were able to snag one of these cool outdoor seating spots - there are 3-4 total, most can seat 4. The interior decor is bright & airy, and we got drinks right away mid afternoon on Saturday. We got the hazy IPA and both thought they were juicy and flavorful. Parking is primarily street/neighborhood parking.

If you like IPAs. If you like hazy beers. If you like good times. This place never disappoints!

What a place! Superb brews, coffee and the best popcorn we've ever had - oreo and salted caramel! Friendly peeps and a fun outdoor fire pit. Love what they've done here!

I have tried 7 different beers from this brewery and they are awesome. Not only do they have great beers and a killer atmosphere the price is so good. Staff is super friendly knowledgeable and will chat with you about tasting notes and help you pick the perfect beer. Would highly recommend this place especially with how many breweries there are in bend.

The paradise ice frosés were nice but wow that fruity berliner weisse with raspberry, strawberry, and pineapple notes knocked my socks off. Tell me where I can bulk order this beer (don’t live in OR)

The little shelters are great at keeping the wind under control! Phenomenal beers and warm cider as an added bonus!

Went here recently for a few of their pop up food events and fell in love with this spot. The beer variety is great, the ambience super laid back, plenty of seating. If you come in during the day you’ll see a lot of people working and enjoying the scene.

Great spot! Good beers, bright and clean space. Outdoor seating with fireplace available too.

Yelp
On an afternoon beer walk on the West Side, this place sits in between two classic established area breweries. We were thankful we read a bit about this place before going, as it is a combination of two of our favorite things: beer and coffee. On our first visit in the afternoon we opted for the former but made an effort to return for breakfast and coffee another morning. It's a relaxed vibe here with clean whites and tons of splashes of color; décor leans into the ski/snowboarding culture of the area. They have Adirondack chairs out front, with a walk up window and limited bar seating. There's also more bar seating inside, tables, and a comfortable sofa area. That part is near the merchandise area and clean restrooms. Friends opted for pints, while I went with a flight of five as their main styles leaned into my favorites. All the beers were excellent, it was impressive. We didn't have any food on this visit. The bartender was immediately friendly and welcoming, explaining the business and encouraging us to come back. My review of Boss Rambler Coffee is separate; if you enjoy either coffee or beer, this is a great spot to check out in Bend.

Yelp
Delicious beer. Dog friendly. Great food truck with burgers and fries. Awesome place to hang out with friends and family.

Yelp
This is my friends beer spot in Bend. I was excited to try it. I love it. Solid beer. Great vibe. Very friendly people. Great music. Hard to be mad at such a good time. Highly recommend.

Chuck P.

Yelp
Enjoyed my visit. The beer we tried was really good. The kind of place to pop in for a beer sit outside. Very low key. Can't say anything about food option. Maybe next time. Limited food offerings

Wendi K.

Yelp
Stopped by for a beer while on the waitlist for a nearby restaurant. Pros: -Awesome variety of drinks. There were slushies, hard kombucha, ciders, IPAs, sours etc. -Generous Pours -Friendly Staff! -Ample indoor and Outdoor Seating Cons: -Interior was super brightly lit (not necessarily bad, just wasn't my thing) and really warm/stuffy Overall a solid spot!

Yelp
I am obsessed with the cuteness of this place! It's so clean and well designed - even the bin bags are teal to match the color scheme! I'm all about those details. We came here at least 3 times in the week we were visiting Bend over 4th of July and every time was a wonderful experience. The drink variety is great, love their seltzer and Frosé options. Very cute outdoor patio with lots of seating and a nice fireplace for the cooler afternoons. They also do coffee in the morning, though I didn't personally try it, my husband really liked it. Wish we had one of these in CA!

Yelp
Coffee by day, beer by night - this place was busy when we dropped in on a Friday night! They even had a DJ for a special event. Super dog friendly of course, being in Bend. We each got a slushy - I got the pog seltzer. It wasn't too sweet and it was very refreshing. We would have stayed here longer but our wait down the street at BOSA ended up only being 15 minutes so we had to quickly down our drinks and leave. But I would come back again and spend more time here when in the area.

Yelp
Coffee mornings and beer afternoons. Outdoors and indoors have good vibes. The inside is bright and setup well even on a busy weekend. The Kook air tropical blast is refreshing and the double IPA is pretty good. Ladies love the slushies.

Morgan Z.

Yelp
This was one of the first places we visited during our engagement weekend in Bend. We stopped by for drinks and I tried the frośe and my fiancé got one of their hazy ipa beers. Both were delicious and refreshing during our summer visit! We purchased a pint glass from here too and it's probably my favorite one we've ever purchase (my fiancé collects them so we have a ton). The place is so cute and they have seating indoors and outdoors. When we went we sat outside because of COVID and it was nice and warm. We would definitely stop by here again next time we are in town. It's nice that there are options for non-beer drinkers too! I do drink beer but wanted something a little more sweet and cold that day.

Yelp
We love Boss Rambler! They make some fun, higher ABV IPA's and fruited beers that we love. The atmosphere is bright and tropical and I would bet that they attract a younger crowd. As a millennial, I can shamelessly admit that they are everything I look for in a brewery: great decor and branding as well as tasty experimental beers. Don't hesitate to pay them a visit!

Jordan K.

Yelp
Our first stop for a beer and grabbed an Alohaze Hazy IPA. It was delicious! We sat outside since we had the pups with us. The fire pit was nice as it was a tad cold (40s) out. Very nice spot to try out to have a beer before heading to the other spots.

Derek L.

Yelp
Boss Rambler was definitely worth a visit! They have multiple hazy's and some fun other options so if you're in for some great beers and creative flavors Boss Rambler is amazing. The unfortunate thing for when we visited was the lack of any food options, in house or food truck, but it was made up with the quality of the beer and service. The staff were friendly, the location is super fun and they have a cool variety of seating both inside and outside. Their menu is not super extensive so the options are limited but if you like Hazy beers this is definitely an awesome stop in Bend!

Rick J.

Yelp
Awesome, happy to see this tasteful, fun, and quality craft beer stop open here in Bend. The beer is excellent and well worth a stop on your brew tour. Build out is really exceptional, comfortable all the way around indoors and out. Ramble on Boss. Beers are all hand crafted so I am sure will be changing with the season. Had a Java stout which was great, also great food and coffee drinks available. All the b.s. aside this is a fantastic spot.. forget about the unfriendly goofy neighbors, weird parking signs, whatever they may try and throw at it ... you will enjoy yourself here. We are regulars because it's fun and everyone is relaxed and happy to be there. Happy to walk to or ride our bikes to visit, and we will no longer visit the establishment next door. Kind of sad you know !

Yelp
Update because Boss Rambler has, as anticipated, completely changed with the completion of their pub. Nice inside bar with a view outside. Or you can sit outside with a view inside. Or you can sit outside with a view of Galveston. They probably are going to need more shade as the summer comes - the springtime sun is already a bit much. The super white tables don't help. Prices are in line with Bend and they offer three sizes. Ambiance is good and unlike other brewpubs in town, especially with the seating options inside. Music is generally not too loud, so you can have a conversation (but I'd still lower the volume a bit). At one point it was loud enough that the bartender four feet away didn't hear my order correctly and gave me a beer I didn't want. Food is limited to the single food cart parked on the side of the building. A few sandwiches, fries. One vegetarian sandwich. The beer. If you like hazy, this is your place: - Boss Sauce: smooth drinking hazy. Not particularly hoppy as anticipated by the description - "hops on hops on hops!" - but still a good pour. - Adrift (In the Dark): a collaboration with Silver Moon. Really nice dark ale. - Bro?Brah!: More of a typical Oregon hazy IPA. My favorite of what's available now. - Lost in San Blas: a lager that drinks like a light IPA. Nice. - The ALOHAze hazy IPA offered last year is not on the menu at the moment. That one was my favorite. Service at the bar is mostly good but uneven. It's early yet. A couple of the folks pouring beers (one in particular) haven't gotten into the rhythm of high volume barwork. Refraining from checking social media on your phone while customers are right in front of you waiting to order would go a long way to help there. I'd like it if they figured out their tab policy. I pay in cash and most pubs in town are good with keeping a tab open without a card if you're drinking inside at the bar. Here, that worked the first time but not the second. If they have a happy hour or local's night, I didn't see any evidence. Parking. Yeah, they probably need to figure that out and maybe post a sign to let customers know what's what. Recommended, and it will probably get better. Along with Bevel Brewing in 9th Street Village, Boss Rambler appears to be the happening new place in town. But they have stiff competition nearby from Sunriver, 10 Barrel, Brother Jon's and The Lot, all of which offer way better food choices. And there's Westside Tavern.

Angel P.

Yelp
Great beer selection. It's a great place to take your dog in the winter with the fireplace and insulated domes. There's also a coffee joint inside. We came back the next morning to grab some coffee along with a tasty breakfast burrito.

Josh T.

Yelp
My wife died and went to heaven when we stepped inside here. We went to as many breweries as we could find in Bend, there are a lot. This brewery stood out among the rest. We came on a Wednesday afternoon when they were having "Moms and Groms", what a genius idea. We checked out the patio and we could be there the entire day and not feel like we are missing out. We will be back.

Sadie W.

Yelp
Really Cool Vibe and Atmosphere. Great selection of IPA's and the Frose was delicious!

Emily R.

Yelp
Inexpensive, great lightening and a chill vibe! It's very islands feel here with coffee and a daily drinks. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Location: It is located near the intersection of NW Galveston St and NW Federal Ave. Some parking available behind the store. The People: Nice. The Drinks: - Frose: It was tasty. The first time a frose gets me a tiny bit tipsy. But then again, the altitude helped (Californians are not used to stronger drinks). haha The Venue: Nice spot! They serve coffee earlier in the say, but after at a certain time, it is alcoholic beverages. I was still allowed to work while drinking my frose. Great spot to be productive or hang out with friends. Upshot: Must check out Boss Rambler at least once.

Lauren G.

Yelp
Awesome spot. Their outdoor area is so much fun. Feels like you're at a beech side spot. Service was great and very friendly. Super helpful when we were looking at merch. Definitely adding to my must visit list for every Bend trip.

Anna P.

Yelp
I was so pumped to finally make it over to BRBC, the vibe of the tasting room and outside patio are very bright and welcoming. Quite different from some other breweries in town. Awesome that they have the walk up windows on the patio to also get service so you don't have to go back inside. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating when I wanted to sample a few beers before deciding on what I wanted. My top picks were Al Fresca and Day Crew. Both refreshing, the Al Fresca had some tropical notes, I felt like I was on a beach somewhere and Day Crew is the epitome of summer and enjoying a nice pale ale beer on a lazy day. Next time I go I plan on trying their IPAs because I have heard good things!

Autumn S.

Yelp
Came 4hrs to Bend to try good beer... and this is where ya get it. I had one of their fruited sours and instantly wanted to buy a 4 pack. Delicious. Flavors on point. Adorable place too, really calming! Really suggest if you need a good place fo hang out and get a good beer.

Nicole B.

Yelp
Love this place! Felt like it was made for me. Love having coffee and good drinks under one roof, gourmet popcorn, and an adorable aesthetic. Will definitely be back!

Jina B.

Yelp
Couldn't quite bring myself to give it 5 stars but wanted to because of the excellent brews! We visited in the afternoon on a Tuesday and tried a variety of 5 ounce drinks. Definitely give their painkiller fruited beer a try if you enjoy something different and sweet. On the lighter side the Bahama lager was nice and refreshing. The staff member behind the bar was barely attentive and spent most of the time talking and drinking beer with those sitting at the bar which is why i gave it 4 stars. Maybe this is just how service works at Boss? I would still go back for more beer since it overshadowed the service.

Yelp
Beer club for men! Only... IT'S NOT ONLY FOR MEN!!! It's for everyone. Beer club for men just has a funny ring to it and sounds like a gathering place for barley nerds, like myself. I feel like a commercial with bearded men should be playing somewhere while they're open. Beer Club has tasty beers, fantastic seating, both indoor and out, and overall fun decor. It has a clean, modern look, which is working well for them, I'd say. We had a lovely time sitting on the sidewalk sipping their hazy IPAs, watching Bend go by. The server, ******, showed positive energy and poured sudsy vibe all evening. This was pleasant to experience. Pretty people, unfiltered hops and excellent layout make Beer Club a spot to check out, I'd say! I'm a member. Are you?

Diane H.

Yelp
LOVE the vibes and interior here. The staff is friendly and great at helping you with making a decision. Good music selection too. Very spacious! Drinks: Great drinks - current favorite is the Puree Vida, so easy to drink. It's a juicy weis. They also have June Shine as their blood orange mint Kombucha. I could've done without the Frose but it is admittedly an aesthetic drink. Parking: They have a parking lot. If it's full, there's plenty of parking near by. Also, they have Megaphone Coffee Co inside sharing half of the space. Haven't tried it yet, but I think that's super cool.

Andrew G.

Yelp
Definitely a brewery for the beer geek/snob in your life! Stands out as new and trendy amongst the older stalwarts of the Bend brewing scene. The inside is an Instagrammer's dream come true, with enough chill vibes for everyone. They share the space and vibes with Megaphone Coffee Co and the parking situation seems to be a bit odd, with some aggressive parking signs from several nearby businesses and a security officer standing outside the lot at noon on a Sunday of all hours. Now as for the beer, they are clearly focusing on hazy IPAs and ales. All 4 that I tried in a custom flight were done very well, with the Trip to the Tropics standing out as a great beer. The Over Dos stout was also good, proving that this place isn't a one trick pony of a brewery. The prices were definitely trendy craft beer prices but that's to be expected these days whether we like it or not. I'm excited to see how they continue to grow as a brand and come back to check out the food truck options!

Samantha H.

Yelp
Super nice owner who, upon minutes to close, let us have a glass of wine and beer on my husbands birthday while he finished wrapping things up. They have these cute little warming huts outside to enjoy and it was so nice! Thanks guys!

Stacy G.

Yelp
This place looked so fun as we did the Bend Ale Trail so we decided to come back and check it out. Service was not good. You go up to the bar and order and the guy behind the bar almost acted like we were bothering him with questions and all I really asked was which was their sweetest thing on the menu for beverages. The sample pours of my boyfriends beer was generous and the only one door seating was cool but partly because we snatched a couple chairs we could move into the limited shade. I don't give a 3 star lightly but I really think the service killed it for me.

Jake J.

Yelp
Honestly probably my favorite brewery in bend. Solid beers and they make great hazies. Keep an eye out for this place beer nerds

Katrina B.

Yelp
Best daytime vibes in bend. Friendly staff, great frose and solid merch. Always a first spot when I arrive in Bend!

Rick P.

Yelp
My daughter and I went there this morning and had great , friendly, fast service. The latte and coffee we ordered was AWESOME.... Now for the rest of the story , behind the business is parking lot that has a sign stating " No Parking allowed for Boss Rambler Beer Club" This sign is NOT correct, it is a shared parking lot with SunRiver brewing ,along with a hair salon. All business owners had agreed to make this an open parking lot . The owner of the hair salon has takin it upon himself to put these signs up. He also hired a person and put a security uniform on this guy with a badge from a cracker jacks box. Purely a intimidation tactic, this Cracker Jack has NO authority what so ever over a patron parking there. If he threatens you dial 911 . This truly isn't the spirit of Central Oregon the way the hair dresser is acting. " Relax everyone , your in Bend, Have a fresh brewed Megaphone "

Drew W.

Yelp
Visited bend for an extended weekend, and kept finding myself back here. Maurisa, behind the bar tool care of us and remembered us whenever we came back. She also helped me pick put some awesome gear and had the best beer reccomendations.

Kristin P.

Yelp
The most aesthetically pleasing place in Bend. Clean, crisp, outstanding decor. So open and inviting. Branding is spot on. Friendly, great beer selection! Coffee place inside is extremely neat too. Highly recommend checking out for something new and fresh!

Ted M.

Yelp
What's not to love about Boss Rambler? Tasty drinks, friendly staff, and a bright ambience. Plus, the best curbside dog-watchin' in Bend. On a sunny afternoon, grab seat out front, enjoy a cold beer and enjoy watching Galveston roll on by...

karen f.

Yelp
GREAT BEER, FUN VIBE, OUTSIDE SUNNY PATIO, AWESOME STAFF - what's not to LOVE? Walking past this place 2 evenings ago and there was such a fun vibe spilling out onto the outside patio, that we just had to stop. All ages with smiles on their faces and an overall laughter that was magnetic. It didn't disappoint. The beer options covered all tastes (we favored the hazy east coast IPA) and there was wine and a cider as well. The staff were friendly and attentive and... yeah just cool too. I would be comfortable walking in myself, sitting at the bar and having a beer - it just makes you feel that good.

Macie D.

Yelp
Was only in Bend for a few days but we ended up coming here a few times for the June Shine Hard Kombucha! Loved the brightness and openness off the whole place, cannot wait to come here when in Bend again and maybe try the coffee.

Maggie D.

Yelp
This place is absolutely beautiful!! Lots of good vibes and great beer!! Their 'cold beer' lager is on point, plus they have the ipa game on lock. I can enjoy a coffee here in the morning before work and then a beer after work. Very versatile and comfortable. So excited to spend a ton of time here over the summer on their sunny patio! Thank you Boss Rambler for opening a bomb brew spot.

Joshua S.

Yelp
Place has some great beers and a chilled vibe. Cool merchandise as well. When they figure out the parking I'll add that 5th star.

Terryn S.

Yelp
Hella decent. Sick service. Rad beer. Heady digs. Cold beer. Rad service. Gnar. There is a beautiful cactus on the bar.

E S.

Yelp
Awesome beer and super nice people! Last time I was here it was their soft opening and they only had a couple beers, but now it's all remodeled and a really beautiful/chill place to hang out. Also doubles as a coffee shop. Loving the beach vibe and welcoming atmosphere. Here on an overcast day and the bright inside decor is definitely making it feel like a sunny summer day which is nice. Can't wait to come back and visit

Cara M.

Yelp
Love this brewery! Great vibe, great people, great beer. LOVED the Mimosaveza (hope I spelled that right!) and my husband loved the iceberg. We can't wait to go back and try their IPAs and Stouts. Also need to get in on that Frosé while it's on the menu! Highly recommend it!

Tatiana B.

Yelp
This was a great find while in Bend! We went next door first and that was a disappointment. Then were drawn in here for the Black IPA and this place did not disappoint. The owners were there pouring our beers and they were lovely guys! Definitely check this place out!

Natalie B.

Yelp
Had the best frozen champagne margarita. Cute environment. Awesome service. Would def recommend

Ryan G.

Yelp
The aesthetic here is top notch. I wanna hire the interior designer to do my next restaurant endeavor. I only went for drinks in the afternoon so I can't attest to the coffee but their alcohol selection was great. Especially because they had JuneShine Hard Kombucha! The outdoor patio is perfect for a post-work or post-float beverage. Just all around great place to meet with friends and unwind at the end of the day. The patio is heavily trafficked so a fun spot to socialize and meet new people. All-in-all one of the more mellow, well priced, and aesthetically pleasing venues I visited while in Bend.

Amy J.

Yelp
Great place to grab a quick beer. Super aesthetic, feeds my Millennial soul. I recommend the watermelon hazy!

D W.

Yelp
Love this place! Beer was great and the atmosphere is very unique to Bend. I'll be back often.
