One of Austin’s best new cocktail bars! I came here for a preview night and got to drink and eat almost everything on the menu. The interior of the space is intimate, moody, and very romantic. There are several different seating options including at the bar, tables, and couches. The drink menu is fun and exciting. Each cocktail is named after a different person. And yes, these cocktails taste as good as they look! It might be intimidating with some of the ingredients but our server was very happy to help us find a cocktails that matched our favorite flavors or spirits. The food menu is small but diverse for all tastes. It features bites to share, everything from a soft pretzel tower to caviar. Overall, a fabulous place to come for a romantic drink with your partner, or like I did, to meet up with girlfriends to gossip and catch up!

Such a relaxing atmosphere. Very intimate setting , small upscale bites and excellent customer service. The drinks were so unique and well worth the prices. I came in without a reservation and was able to be seated right away. I will definitely be back again. 😎📊🙌🏽

Aesthetic atmosphere but drinks were lacking. Came here for a date night.. highly suggest you get a reservation. The drinks tasted okay but lacked a depth of flavour. A few had nice garnishes but not worth $19. Truffle fries were bland and could have used more seasoning. This place has potential but they’ve got a few things to improve on first. Limited parking made it hard.

Overall, a cool lowkey spot on the far East side. There’s free parking which is great, but for a speakeasy type bar it is not very secret. It’s small inside so when it gets more crowded it can be hard to hold conversation since people are seated closely. Drinks are hit or miss, I’d recommend a reservation at 10pm or later for the $10 drinks. For the normal price point I would expect some higher quality drinks more similar to the other speakeasies in town. The Willie Nelson and Miranda Priestly are our favorites.

This spot was fantastic!! It’s perfect for a girl’s night out or a romance date with your significant other. The ambiance is amazing and the decor in this place is beyond cute. We ordered a number of their signature cocktails: - Charles Darwin - a light, refreshing drink but watch out for the snake in the grass - Ginger Snap- similar to a Moscow Mule. - Anthony Bourdain - an old fashioned style drink that comes a smoky presentation - Cesar Chavez - close to a spicy jalapeño marg - Willie Nelson - your go-to if you’re a rum drinker who likes a fiery kick - Billy Porter - for the one who can’t pick between a beer or a cocktail. Gives root beer float vibes. - The star of the show was the Miranda Presley, which is their frozen take on your classic espresso martini with a perfectly roasted marshmallow on top. They have some light bites on the menu like the truffle fries and the stuffed pretzels, but I would recommend eating a little something before you go as they don’t have bigger food options on the menu. But don’t sleep on their homemade truffle Chex mix. We kept asking for more. Staff was super nice and helpful making the recommendations. Do yourself a favor and make a res now!

First review of 2023 goes to Bosses Office, a new speakeasy that opened where Swift’s Pizza used you be. Same owners still as Jacoby’s. My recommendation, get reservations as the place does fill up quickly, and sit at the bar! Great conversation with the bartenders Chris and Mason tonight who made us some great drinks! We ordered Willy Wonka, Lady Godiva, Miranda Priestly, Willie Nelson, and Janis Joplin. Great drinks and they have a good snack menu as well. Here’s to a great year Bosses Office!

We had a great time at bosses office. The cocktails are aesthetically pleasing! I had the Paris Hilton. It was a little too tart for me. The Michael buble was very refreshing and yummy. They gifted my friend a glass of champagne for her birthday and the servers were very friendly. It wasn’t too loud in there and the vibes were great. They did have trail mix on the tables but they were stale.

First time coming to this cocktail bar and I was very impressed with the drinks. Very good. The atmosphere reminds me of Mad Men vibes. I got the Michael Buble and the Sandra Lee very great drinks. I’m not much of a drinker, but these were very good! Jack Sparrow is great, but it’s much stronger. Great drinks. The staff very friendly. Recommend!

This was probably one of the best cocktail bars we have visited. Reservation is recommended but luckily there were some spots for us at the bar. Impressive cocktail menu-so fun and creative. They all sounded great making it hard to pick which one to get. Bartenders are attentive and welcoming. We appreciate the complimentary Chex mix. Cocktails are on the pricey side but they are worth it. One of my favorite cocktails was called Halle Berry. The ingredients were unique. Something I wouldn't normally get but I'm glad I went for it.

My friends and I decided to come here one day and enjoyed our time here. TL;DR I recommend this place I thought all the drinks sounded wonderful and pretty playful as a cocktail menu goes. I don't consider myself a mixed drink connoisseur but the drinks we had were pretty great. Their season drink was a matcha strawberry drink that was quite tasty! The service and decor were great as well. Lovely vibe here.

This Devil, clad in Prada, sipped on a Miranda Priestly this Friday night. The potent concoction, named for a powerful woman known for her icy demeanor and devilish attitude, certainly lived up to its namesake. One sip transported me back to my bright-eyed and bushy-tailed days, a time when the world had a jade tint and Lone Stars were a mere two dollars. But I digress. This cocktail, worth every penny, is best enjoyed amidst the ambiance of Bosses Office. The dim lighting conveniently hid my giddish, schoolgirl blush as this smooth, indulgent drink, crowned with a toasted marshmallow, was presented before me. If the giddiness of a schoolgirl hadn't already possessed me, the coffee liqueur certainly had me feeling like a giddy-up cowboy at the rodeo. Summoning the reigning employee of the month (and the past two months before that), Dylan, with his enviable curls and stool-buckling smile, I placed my next order. Feeling like the pinnacle of Natural Selection, I requested the Charles Darwin from my cocktail aficionado. One sip, and it was survival of the drunkest. Channeling my inner Michael Scott, I proclaimed, "I am now the boss of this office," and promptly requested a round on the house from Dylan, our esteemed sommelier of cocktails.

These are some of the best cocktails I've had in Austin!! The small bites are also awesome! For drinks, he Darwin and the Miranda priestly (frozen espresso martini) are great choices. For food, the fries are great and the stuffed pretzels are soo good too. Dark and swanky vibe inside. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly! Very cool experience!

The drinks here were very tasty, made well, not over powering in any way. Service was good. For the ambience I think they were trying to go for a dark, sleek, moody vibe. I did like the interior, however I feel the seating arrangements were a bit strange for two people. My bf and I sat next to each other with a small table in between, but our configuration was duplicated in front of us, facing towards us. Luckily no one was sitting in front of us, or else it would've been a bit awkward and too close for comfort. I also wish there were other foods to choose from. The Chex mix was complimentary and the bites we ordered just turned out to be kolaches and nothing special.

Highly recommend getting reservations since the space is not big Very unique cocktails! Drinks: Marie Antionette was a Valentine special still on the menu, and not my favorite. It just tasted like champagne and that's about it. Don't really recommend it Maleficent was fall in a glass. It was so yummy! It started off one flavor and changed towards the end because the ice was pomegranate that melted slowly into the drink. A good choice for the sweet cocktail fans Paris Hilton was a well balanced, delicate, luscious drink that had a little sweetness to it. Food: Pepper Jelly goat cheese was pretty much a kolache.

The perfect place doesn't exist, oh wait, Bosses Office. Now, a bar setting, the vibe, the energy, the crowd, the music are all highly personal. But for this Chicagoan, the setup of BO fits just fine. The speakeasy "vibe" with dimly lit interiors, the intentional but minimalistic design elements such as beautiful light fixtures (yeah, that's really my thing), comfortable seating to lounge and relax, and music that is in the background but allows conversation for us old folks in our 40s. Excellent service, creative presentation of cocktails, delicious and unique flavor profiles, fun names and descriptions -- this place was a highlight. My husband is not easy to please when it comes to a speakeasy and he was enamored last night by how well executed everything at BO was. I definitely earned some wifey points for his birthday surprise. I understand the prices are a bit high but this isn't your every weekend neighborhood bar. I feel that prices are high now in most places but here you actually receive something for it - like the creativity of the mixologist and the enjoyment of sipping a well made cocktail. Pro tip: they have $10 martinis all night on Wednesdays and $10 select cocktails all day on Sundays.

Oh, you've got to check out Bosses Office for a fantastic Friday night! My friends and I decided to swing by after dinner for some cocktails, and we had an absolute blast. The place has this cool vibe that immediately puts you in the mood for a good time. The service was friendly, attentive and exceptional! The cocktails were not only delicious but also creatively crafted, with fun names that added a playful touch to the experience. Each sip was a delightful surprise, and it's evident that the mixologists here know their stuff. We tried a variety of concoctions, and each one was a winner - Selena Gomez, Willie Nelson, Paris Hilton, Willy Wonka. What I loved most about Bosses Office was the lively atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, enjoy good company, and let loose after a long week. The Friday night energy was infectious, and it really felt like the perfect spot to kick off the weekend.

This is such a cute bar and the drinks are great. The bartenders/waiters were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend having a reservation as the bar was packed the entire time we were there. This place is a proper cocktail lounge. They had all the different types of cocktail glasses and ice. One of the drinks we ordered came with an ice cube shaped like a cobra. I think every drink we ordered here over the course of an hour and a half was excellent.

I absolutely love this place! The happy hour deals here are amazing and you should definitely try to get there early and grab a spot at the bar! The staff is fantastic and they really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. I highly recommend trying out the Miranda Preselsy and Paris Hilton cocktails - both were incredible!

I've had the pleasure of visiting this establishment twice, and on both occasions, I was fortunate to have Mackenzie as our server. My husband and I had delightful experiences during our 8:00 pm reservations. Intrigued by the allure of speakeasies, we were eager to explore what the hype was all about. During our first visit, we were seated at a cozy table for two to the right of the room, providing the perfect vantage point for people-watching while sipping on our cocktails. On the second visit, we found ourselves at a communal seating area in the center of the room, a 4-seater arrangement that led to us striking up a fast friendship with a wonderful couple. The variety of creative cocktails, featuring vodka, bourbon, gin, and rum, captured our attention. On the first visit, I explored bourbon drinks, trying the Anthony Bourdain ($19), which had a captivating presentation, along with the Willy Wonka ($18) and the Lady Godiva ($18) - all of them visually stunning and delicious. On my second visit, I ventured into the world of vodka cocktails, enjoying the Ginger Spice ($15) and the Paris Hilton ($17), both equally beautiful. The menu also includes non-alcoholic cocktails, ensuring everyone can partake in the beauty of a well-crafted drink. Although my visit was over a year ago, I'm pleased to note that they've introduced new cocktails to the menu, sparking the urge for a return. Our overall experience was positive, with Mackenzie proving sweet and attentive. The midcentury modern interior, as depicted in the pictures, exudes a certain charm, even though it may not feel as cozy as it looks. The air conditioner, while a bit loud, mingles with the upbeat playlist, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a speakeasy pop-up - a unique touch that I appreciate. While I have yet to try their bites, perhaps that's something to explore on my next visit. Notably, they have their own parking lot, eliminating the need to arrive early in search of a spot.

So happy to have discovered this place when visiting Austin! I found Bosses Office through word of mouth from a friend, and learned that it just opened. I love fancy cocktails, so I looked it up, made a reservation, and went the following night. Very small place, small bar area with seating on couches and chairs- similar to a fancy corporate bosses' office. It was very dimly lit, and there were lamps all over the place for lighting. The cocktails were fun and unique. Loved the taste. The price range was like anywhere else that has fancy cocktails... $14-$20. At our table, we had a server for our cocktails. She was pleasant and friendly. They give you complimentary Chex mix which is something small but nice to munch on something while having drinks. Overall, it was a nice experience. Glad I got to go while visiting!

After an event I suggested to my husband we stop for a cocktail before going home. We decided on Boss's office. We didn't have reservations but we got lucky to snag two seats at the bar. I ordered the ginger spice which was delicious. It was probably one of the best and most expensive Moscow mule inspired drink I ever had. My husband got the Willy wonka drink and said it was great but it's the prices that got me. The price per drink is not worth me coming back again. Give me a strong drink for my $15 and we have deal.

In a city brimming with bars, Bosses Office stands out as a beacon of excellence! Each drink is a work of art and perfectly executed down to their pairing of homemade ice. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles, especially from Giovanni. He's attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, this spot will over deliver in the best ways.

Bosses Office is great. I honestly thought it was going to be overly pretentious, but it wasn't at all. I found the waitstaff to be quirky but non judgmental which is nice and at times uncommon at places like this. Drinks were really great, expensive, but really great. Probably not necessary to be so expensive . Nice ambiance and will be back. You 100% will need a reservation to go, so plan ahead.

I reallllllllly wanted to like this place. I will preface by saying I was well aware the drinks were going to be pricey, and that they have small bites vs actual meals. The drinks themselves are delicious, and presented beautifully. The ambiance is also nice, as it's dimly lit and a cozy smaller sized bar. Our server was also attentive. I have to knock off a couple stars for a few reasons. 1) I'm fine paying for a $20 cocktail, but when you have 3 drinks and leave without any type of buzz, it's just not worth it. The drinks taste great but have trace amounts of alcohol. 2) You have to order off the cocktail menu. Despite this being a cocktail bar, they do not take requests/don't even have normal alcohols, liqueurs, etc stocked. My friends and I asked for espresso martinis, and they said they couldn't make them. The bar didn't even have Kahula or Baileys. To me, this is not acceptable when you are willing to pay a premium. Even dive bars on 6th can make one. I understand they don't have an espresso machine, but there are plenty of other ways/mixes to make one. A cocktail bar like Dumont's downtown, you can tell them "I like vodka and gin, fruity, but not too sweet drinks" and their bartenders will whip you up a special concoction even if it's not on the menu. I figured when you are paying $25 for a drink, that would be a capability here as well, but it's not. 3) We ordered a bunch of small bites, but the table was so skinny that we barely had enough room for our drinks/food. We had to hold our plates in our laps, which I get it, this isn't a full blown restaurant, but it would still be nice if you serve food, to not have to hold your plate while eating. Food itself was good- we got the truffle fries, stuffed pretzel, and cheese plate. The cheese plate was so tiny and overpriced. Overall, I will likely not be back unless it is someone else's idea/reservation. I know they are new and likely working out the kinks, but there are some serious issues with the price point here vs the experience you receive. As others have said, you NEED a reservation, as for walk ins they only take on a limited basis, and they will give you a time limit.

Everything about this spot is worth the drive/lyft. I wanted a cocktail for my birthday to kick off the night. Presentation is what drew us in but the ambiance, friendly mixologist and vibe keeps us wanting more. Ensure you make a reservation we weren't prepared and sat at the bar but it was still fun.

Wonderful ambiance. Very speakeasy. The cocktails are elegant, creative, and refreshing. Some are on the sweet side. Highly recommend for a nice HH. We had Charles Darwin for the ice cobra, Anthony Bourdain for the smoke, Queen Elizabeth II and Paris Hilton are both sweet, and Willie Nelson for the firry sparks. They can bring you a tequila list upon request. We ordered an anejo. No entrees served here. Just snacks, so I'd eat dinner before or after coming here. Love the name! Comfortable and cushioned seats!! The restrooms are unisex. Parking is easy if you arrive early. There's a parking lot. The sign is little on the building, so keep your eyes peeled. Three of my friends had to turn around. The server is knowledgeable and polite. The floor is wood. Walk carefully for high heels. Definitely want to come back again.

Bosses Office is the newest craft cocktail bar in town taking over former Swifty Pizza and I gotta say what a major improvement. This places screams sexy offering dim lighting and velvety seating but let's get to the star of the show the drinks. I came here with a group so we were able to try a good amount of the cocktails featured on the menu and what's even more fun is that each drink is named after a famous person/character. The first round started with the Charles Darwin which can only be described as refreshing and floral served with an ice cube shaped like a cobra while the Anthony Bourdain was a showstopper coming in a smoky glass with a B shaped ice cube that made everyone in the bar turn their heads. Next round was the Miranda Priestley which was a fancy take on of a expresso martini served with a toasted marshmallow while the Willie Nelson was reminiscent of a tiki drink that's served on fire! They also have non alcoholic drink options for those who don't partake or looking to balance their booze intakes. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation if your trying to come here over the weekend as the bar was packed when we west leaving around 7 on a Friday night.

Went here for the first time and we really enjoyed our experience! Came on a Saturday in July at 8:30pm with no reservation, but luckily snagged a table with no wait. I love any bar on the east side, but I especially like how they are located away from the madness with their own simple parking lot. Staff was friendly. It did take a little while to get our order taken but nothing terrible. This along with the high prices is why I didn't give them a perfect 5 stars. We ordered the Anthony Bourdain and the Miranda Priestly. The AB was a 10/10, really enjoyed it and was easy to drink slow and make it last. The MP was a 7/10. It just was too slushy and not as smooth and thick as we hoped for. The ambience was great, not too loud and chill good music. Love the touch of complimentary trail mix they bring upon arrival. All in all will definitely come back here!

Such an awesome little hidden gem. Been here a couple times now and every single time has been an amazing experience. Staff is very welcoming, very knowledgeable about their menu, and always make the drinks that come with a little extra show so much fun. Very nice atmosphere and "dark" classy vibes inside. I can without a doubt say that every drink I've had was superb. Have not run into anything we don't like. Be daring or stick with something you know, I promise you won't be disappointed. Taryn is always super sweet and really makes our experience here so worth it!! Thank you so much Taryn for always being an amazing host. I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation prior to arriving, the place is a little smaller and it will guarantee that you will have a spot. Super easy to do - just call and they will give you the available times.

I have absolutely no idea why the reviews for Bosses Office are less than stellar, but it's my favorite cocktail bar in all of Austin. The vibes are impeccable, and everyone is so attentive. I know the drinks look like a gimmick, but I swear it's not. We tried three of their cocktails (please see photos), and each one was incredibly well balanced. I also saw another review that said they don't put much liquor in their drinks, but I'll have to counter that statement and say that their drinks are decently strong. Please make a reservation--even at 6PM on a weekday, they were quite busy. We came right when they opened and had a reservation, and we were seated at the best booth! They gave us truffle-flavored Chex Mix, which were a great snack to go along with the cocktails. I loved the frozen espresso martini. I can't remember what it's called, but it's a great take on the modern drink. The burnt marshmallow is a lovely touch. My friend's Miranda Priestly was wonderful--you can taste the strong floral accents, and it was quite sweet. Honestly, I loved this place. I'm so glad I came because my friends and I talked for hours, and our server came up to us frequently to refill water and ask us how we were doing. I also love that the bartender took the time to explain each cocktail to us. I highly recommend, and I will be coming again and again.

This one was on a lot of "Must Try" lists but I didn't feel that way. I'd give it 2.6 stars? It felt somewhat generic and looked different than the unique vibe I had seen pictures of. I would barely consider it a traditional speakeasy tbh. Lighting is brighter then you'd imagine and it felt a little bit like a knock off one. I will say I tried all of my friends drinks and there was some good ones but I'm a tequila girly and the only two tequila drinks on the menu were... sus. One being a dessert drink and the other had salsa in it and came with chips to dip!? .... While it looked cool I can't imagine many ppl loved it. There's just too many good cocktail lounges in Austin for this to be rated highly.

Though I'm not familiar with Jacoby Restaurant Group, opened just five weeks ago, I was excited to dive into their speakeasy-themed cocktail bar concept. The beautiful decor and welcoming staff contribute to a very low-key yet luxurious feel. We were seated at the bar which is always my preference at a place like this. Our bartender Mason was engaging, accommodating, and seemed to have quite a bit of potential. He was probably the best part of the entire experience. My sister loved the housemade complimentary spicy chex mix. (In fact, she's still talking about it. Ha!) Also be sure to order the marinated castelvetrano olives; they're divine. I wasn't particularly impressed with my first cocktail ["Cesar Chavez" -- epsilon blanco, bell pepper, jalapeño, lime]. It was garnished very creatively with the bell peppers and jalapeños embedded in the ice cube but the flavor was more or less one note. The "Queen Elizabeth II" [aviation gin, lemon, thai basil] also left a little something to be desired. But Mason finished things off strong when he improvised a smokey, gingery cocktail for me; it was great! Don't miss the "Charles Darwin" for a really fun presentation. Seeing as how its located three miles east of downtown, I think that it would need to be a particularly exceptional experience for me to return for another visit. There are many other great cocktail spots located more conveniently to downtown. They may not be quite there yet but I feel like they're going to be doing some extraordinary things here once they've managed to get settled and find their niche.

The best cocktails in Austin i've had this place bookmarked for a while, because their branding was just so cool finally found time to go, and it was well worth the hype. I had the Michael Bublé and the Miranda Priestly both were unbelievably good. bartenders were very knowledgeable about cocktails and willing to accommodate swapping out liquor if needed . Can't wait to go back!

I think having a cocktail bar with this vibe be as large as it is makes the vibes noticeably different. A little less intimate? But the drinks are really good and there's a lot of creativity with some of the combos and garnishes. I really liked my Janis Joplin drink.

I truly look forward to going back to this sweet spot. The drinks were amazingly delicious. The decor, design and ambiance are all perfect. A calm bar to meet friends and relax. The perfect spot to end an evening after dinner. Nice staff and good service.

Great little cocktail bar hidden away on east 7th. I can't wait to go back. So many options. The service was exceptional. I asked the bartender to make me a tequila drink. He made me a spicy watermelon margarita that was awesome. They have bar snacks and munchies available as well. The drink menu is playful and imaginative. Definitely need to put this one on your list to try!

Who cares if the drinks are $18 a piece when they knock you on your ass? Ok, maybe I care a little bit. You'll need a reso to stop by here, and I recommend taking a rideshare as they've got about 6 parking spots and as I mentioned, the drinks are strong. It's super dark inside (with plans to get darker, I hear they're blacking out the windows) to the point where I wondered how people see the menus or each other at night. Like how do the servers walk around??? The seating is all low lounge seating, which I feel like is cool in theory but in reality you end up far away from your group and with the loud club music, it's really hard to have a conversation. However, the staff is a lot of fun and so are the drinks. I would be the first to roll my eyes at an $18 cocktail but the attention to detail in these really shows in the final product. Everything we sampled was delicious, and they have some with fun tableside gimmicks (fire, smoke, garnishes, a bubble gun) that are right up my alley. It's a nice spot for a pre or post dinner drink!

The drinks were tasty and creative! The Paris Hilton was my favorite and they were able to substitute the vodka for tequila and still made it taste great. Good vibes and music but the food is slightly over priced. Would recommend for just drinks!

Luckily stumbled upon this place while it was still a little empty! It's a cool vibe - lots of interesting decor and seating. We tried the Beet It tequila drink, so good! Def want to go back and try more.

Bosses Office Austin's newest Neighborhood Speakeasy-Style Cocktail Bar & Lounge! They are shaking things up with exceptional well crafted cocktails paired with moody vibes. While the cocktails are priced on the higher side, they are 100% worth it, not only creative but also impressive presentation. This spot is perfect for date night or for a celebratory group outing. While the cocktails steal the show, they do have a variety of wines and bites that pair nicely. We Anthony Bordain - spicy backbone, sultry, traditional, smoke / bulleit, rye, cocoa nib, hazelnut, bourbon, fig, sweet vermouth - super palatable.Charles Darwin - lush, botanical, snake in the grass / aviation gin, arugula, fennel, lime - a drink worthy for the foodies

We LOVED our fancy cocktail experience at Bosses Office!!! Be sure to make a reservation. We loved all the drinks we tried and they were all so artfully done. Service is very kind and friendly! It's not cheap, but what you would expect for a fancy cocktail bar in Austin. Looking forward to next time

My husband and I ended up here randomly after dinner and we were not disappointed. The ambiance is beautiful and classy and the drinks are unique and totally worth the money.

The space is dark and intimate so great for a date night! I loved both drinks I got, the Queen Elizabeth was my favorite. I would definitely get the pizza/pretzel bites again. The bartenders were extremely nice and quick with their service. Make a reservation if you plan to go. There's not a lot of room for those that walk in.

This little place is a gem. A couple of friends and I decided to stop by on a late Wednesday night for drinks. We arrived around 10pm with no reservations and we were able to be seated immediately. They have like a reverse happy hour where several of the drinks on the menu are $10 after 10pm. When I tell you we tried to take advantage of that deal lol.... Yesssss. We tried every drink that was $10 that night. My favorite was by far the Willy Wonka. The taste of the sweet caramel bourbon mixed with the amaretto *chefs kiss*. I also liked the bubbly freshness of the Michael Buble. Our sever was very nice and informative, he even recommended a few of his favorites on the menu and didn't hesitate to answer any questions we had. The nice size parking lot is a big plus. You don't have to worry about trying to find parking. Bosses Office is a great spot to relax after a long day and/or evening. The dark sexy ambiance also makes this a great date night/romantic spot. I'll definitely be returning.

First review of 2023 goes to Bosses Office, a new speakeasy that opened where Swift's Pizza used you be. Same owners still as Jacoby's. My recommendation, get reservations as the place does fill up quickly, and sit at the bar! Great conversation with the bartenders Chris and Mason tonight who made us some great drinks! We ordered Willy Wonka, Lady Godiva, Miranda Priestly, Willie Nelson, and Janis Joplin. Great drinks and they have a good snack menu as well. Here's to a great year Bosses Office!

Phenomenal service, cocktails & their complementary truffle chex mix! The snacks were so good we had to ask for another. Great ambiance. We loved the Paris Hilton and the Darwin gin based cocktail was amazing as well! Loved the snake shaped ice cube. Would definitely come again, and recommend! Great date spot.

This place is a VIBE!!!! It's dark inside which I loved because you can't see people across the place clear as day but you can easily see who you're with. Drinks are great and they have reverse happy hour. Starts at 10pm. They have about 4 or 5 drinks that cost 1/2 off. So around $10-$11. The music is great. Makes you wanna dance. Great place.

One of my new favorite cocktail bars in Austin! Not quite sure why some places market this as a speakeasy, because it's located in plain sight with a sign outside, but I will say the inside does have a very speakeasy vibe - dim lighting, swanky music, fun art on the walls, and comfortable seating. I see a lot of people complaining about the price of the cocktails - they're definitely not cheap, but also not more expensive than what you'd pay at a nice cocktail bar in Austin. And for the quality that we got, I didn't mind the price point (~$17/drink). We loved all the drinks we ordered: Paris Hilton: my personal favorite since I'm a sucker for foamy, egg-white drinks. So pretty and delicious! Cesar Chavez: I didn't love it as much as the Paris Hilton, but it was still yummy. Reminded me a bit of a spicy margarita, which you can never go wrong with. Ginger Spice: My boyfriend ordered this because he loves mules of any kind, and this did not disappoint! The cucumber, mint, rosemary, ginger beer all made it so refreshing! Queen Elizabeth II: Second cocktail my boyfriend ordered - gin is his favorite alcohol and he loved this drink! The lemon and thai basil were the perfect touch. I've been recommending this bar to everyone since going there and would definitely go again to try the other cocktails. Perfect spot for a date night, ladies night, or get together with friends.

This place is fantastic. We still talk about the "Snake in the Grass" we didn't get to have so we'll need to go back. Snacks and cocktails are both excellent. Great to have this little place nearby without having to go downtown.

Cool bar in East Austin. Huge plus: on site parking lot! Amazing! The drinks were great and the staff was nice. It was just a little too bright and a little too empty to be truly incredible but a great bar overall to sip some expensive craft cocktails.

Definitely one of Austin's best cocktail bars! I came here for a girls night happy hour. We got there right at 5p and there were plenty of tables open - but by 7pm this place was bustling! The outside is very unassuming - you can drive right by and not realize you passed it. Inside is intimate, dark & moody, and very modern decor. Staff was great, super friendly and good service. The cocktail menu is more extensive than we thought with each cocktail named after a different person. All of the cocktails we tried were superb - and the level of detail and presentation was unique to each, and executed to perfection! Even the mocktails were great - in most places a mocktail is all sugar or an afterthought, but these were incredible, especially the Betty Ford. The food menu is small but has plenty of bites to share, everything from a soft pretzel tower & truffle fries to caviar. Overall, great spot to come for a solid cocktail - hands down some of the best cocktails I've had in Austin. Will definitely be back to try more off the cocktail list!

Trendy cocktail bar located in a nondescript eastside neighborhood. I propose that Yelp introduce a new category of restaurant/bar: "Instagram-friendly." You know... the type of place that makes interior designers swoon and serves food/drinks that are fun to look at. This is one such place. The vibes here are quite interesting. Since it's taken over this space from an old eastside restaurant, you'd expect a cheap pizza joint when you pull into the parking lot but are surprised walking in to find a dark, brooding neo-industrial designed room, with art deco elements. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the bar--which is well-lit compared with the rest of the place. As was mentioned in other reviews, each drink has its own unique "gimmick" in terms of how they're presented/garnished. Say what you want, but it adds to the experience and makes for a fun time. While nothing really blew me away, the drinks were overall very solid and tasty (just my personal experience). I'd definitely come back here again if I lived a bit closer to the eastside, but since I live downtown, there are other cocktail bars I'd probably end up at before coming here.

The speakeasy vibes here were exactly what we were looking for. From the outside you wouldn't expect it, but as soon as you walk in you are completely transported in to that speakeasy feel. The drinks are great, well balanced and beautiful. My group of 5 wanted to keep ordering drinks just to see what the next drink would look like. The small bites were good, with the pretzel bites being my favorite. The prices are on par with downtown Austin prices.

Had such a wonderful time at Bosses Office for New Years Eve! The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and gracious. We were celebrating a friends farewell in addition to NYE and the staff brought out a welcome glass of champagne for the guest of honor! Such a sweet touch. The drink list has lots of great cocktail options and each cocktail concept has great attention to detail! Espresso Martini with roasted marshmallow, one drink had an ice cube from a snake shaped mold, and the tiki drink comes out on fire. So much fun! The ambiance is moody and cozy without being too dark. The location is a little off the beaten path so less options for a multi-bar crawl but they have a parking lot for about 15 cars and there is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood. Would be a great date spot! Highly recommend making a reservation to secure the cute couch seating! Can't wait to go back!

Everything about this place is amazing from the ambiance, food, service and delicious one of a kind drinks. It's a must!! Great place!
