Casual seafood spot with lobster rolls, chowder, & fish tacos

"Casual seafood outdoors is the play here, from chowder to fried platters—pure, picnic-table Hamptons." - Jessica Chapel, Emily Adler

"I love Bostwick’s Chowder House. My go-to order is steamers to start, followed by a platter of fried oysters with a side salad. This is best when washed down with a frozen margarita." - Elise Taylor
"This isn’t our most favorite restaurant Out East, but it’s one we wind up going to most often (thanks for being open on Mondays, Bostwick’s). The diner-style restaurant is an ideal default when you can’t decide where else to go, or just don’t have the energy to cook for yourself. It’s quick, it’s casual, and the seafood-heavy menu has a lot of solid options—there’s something fried, grilled, or on a bun for everyone. Our top picks: the hot lobster roll, the seared tuna, and burrito-sized fish tacos. There’s also a second location in Three Mile Harbor (north of East Hampton town) called Bostwick’s On The Harbor with great views, though the menu is a bit fancier (think yellowfin tuna poke). It's especially enjoyable at sunset." - melissa kravitz hoeffner
"The most consistent, the most centrally located, and the most accessible, Bostwick’s lobster roll is the consummate crowd-pleaser. On the roll, the lobster salad is finely chopped, with just the right amount of mayo and celery, and served on a toasted dog bun along with fries or slaw. If you’re more of a hot butter lobster fan, they have that too. You should also always order a side of clam chowder or lobster bisque for some fry-dipping action. Sit in the nautical-style diner or outside on the pebbled patio under big umbrellas for much-needed shade." - melissa kravitz hoeffner, team infatuation
