Beautiful plants and delicious goodies! What more could we ask for?? The space is wonderful and inviting, and lots of options for additional plant care, rather than just plants. It was a wonderful place to visit and I already can't wait to go back.

The Dalgona coffee was excellent, but the ube pandesal with cheese was a bit too firm for my liking. I would have preferred it to be a bit softer.

CORNED BEEF PANDESAL — unique as a bakery offering but a classic to Filipinos. It is divine. I ordered one, ate it, then ordered another one. The other pastries I got were good, but do not miss out on this little savory treasure. 🇵🇭-certified. Dalgona coffee was excellently made and has a surprisingly good price considering its craftmanship and the average price of coffee in Portland. Also vibes were immaculate — plants and local + bipoc art. Highly recommend this gem.

Two staff members made unwelcoming remarks when my partner and I entered the shop 30 minutes before closing. The conversation went on for two minutes before we decided to leave. They not only talked about us, but the person that arrived a minute after. We knew that they were closing at 4 pm, and planned to make it a quick trip for some cupcakes to go.

Not sure how staff members talking loudly about “annoying customers who come in a half an hour before closing” isn’t directed at my boyfriend and I as we walked in at 328… but anyway we were treated extremely poorly and left from being so uncomfortable within a few minutes without buying anything. The response from the business to my boyfriend not taking accountability and trying to instead act like that somehow was not directed at us when they not only started the conversation when we walked in but also looked at us multiple times and did not greet or acknowledge us is bonkers. Super crumby behavior and I’ve worked in over 6 different customer service job and would never treat people like that, both in and out of a work setting there is no reason to be unkind to people. Can’t support a business that doesn’t own up to it when their workers act that way personally.

ehhhh... the food isn't all that good and i got perma-banned from gnawing on the plants. not very cool guys. if you didn't want ppl to eat the plants you shouldn't make them so irresistible.....

Cute setup with the plant store. Cozy and fun visit for Filipino desserts. This is a must stop in hot weather as their iced coffee creations sounded very refreshing. The owner is sweet.

Botanical Bakeshop is the collective name for two businesses sharing this space: Daphne's Botanicals (plant store) on one half and Shop Halo Halo (Filipino bakery) on the other half. Both are woman owned bizs! I love seeing businesses collaborate like this! It's a really cool use of the space. I'll leave individual reviews for each business on their Yelp pages. Located in Woodstock neighborhood at the corner of 50th and Woodstock Blvd. Street parking only.

Take my money. Take my time. Take anything, just leave me here to soak in all the good. The good smells, the good flavors, the good air, the good growth.

Half beautiful botanical plant store, half Filipino bakery..Yes, please! Today was the grand opening of the Botanical Bakeshop. On the right side of the store there are cacti, succulents, hanging plants, flower pots, and more for purchase. The space was adorned with so many gorgeous plants on shelves and on the wall. I will be back to buy a Venus fly trap since my nieces both love them. The other half of the store is a Filipino bakery serving treats such as sans rival, ube crinkle cookies, ube cake, shortbreads, and beverages. I tried the sans rival, a dessert made with layers of buttercream, meringue, and cashews. It was delicious. I also ordered the lavender calamansi shortbread. If you like lavender, you will love this shortbread. Finally, I ended with the Halo Halo, which means mix mix. The Halo Halo is a shaved ice dessert made with oat milk, ice cream, fruit jellies, sweet beans, coconut flakes, and topped with ube. I loved the fruit jellies giving it a yummy, chewy surprise. The servers were friendly and polite. I even received a goody bag with a cute little succulent and an ube crinkle cookie. I can't wait to bring my Filipino friend here! She was envious of my food pictures. We will be back soon.

Delicious Filipino desserts! I had the Halo Halo and Ube Mochi...SOOOO YUMMY!! Daphne was super friendly and knowledgeable about plants. I'm not a plant person, but have now found a new plant I'd love to bring home. Very low key and comfortable setting. I'll come back when I visit again from California!!!
