"In Woodstock, I found Botanical Bakeshop to be a plant-filled café where pastries and plants are intentionally tied to Filipino culture. Geleen Abenoja (Shop Halo Halo) and Daphne Peters (Daphne’s Botanicals) opened their businesses in a shared space in July, creating a relaxed spot where people can shop for plants while sipping sampaguita milk tea lattes and nibbling calamansi shortbread cookies.
