Had an amazing dinner at Bottega Angelina with my wife. The atmosphere was beautiful and the entire experience from start to finish felt special. Our server Riley was incredible. Super attentive, knew the menu well, and made some great recommendations. You could tell she genuinely cared that we were enjoying ourselves. The food was a solid 10 out of 10. Every dish we had was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Easily one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. The manager even stopped by our table to say hello and check in. He was friendly and welcoming, which added a nice personal touch to the evening. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend this place.

Bottega Angelina was the first stop of my Laguna Niguel trip, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. I originally came for lunch after seeing the beautiful pictures of the restaurant—bright, airy interiors with a spacious layout and a patio offering lovely views. As a pasta lover, I was excited to try it. For lunch, I got seated at the bar, ordered the bolognese and an affogato. Both exceeded expectations. The bolognese sauce was rich, hearty, and plentiful, with pasta that was clearly house-made—perfectly al dente, springy and full of bite. The affogato was beautifully presented with the espresso served separately, poured over ice cream and whipped cream. It came with a little biscuit that, surprisingly, didn’t get soggy but turned almost jelly-like in texture, still delicious. Even though I wasn’t very hungry, I finished every bite. The bartender chatted with me throughout and even recommended local spots to explore, while the manager checked in multiple times to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. It was such a pleasant experience that I decided to return for dinner the same day. For dinner, I sat at a table and started with the octopus, which was tender and perfectly prepared. My main dish was the clam pasta, featuring large, fresh clams with perfectly cooked pasta once again. The seasoning included Calabrian chili, adding just the right amount of subtle heat that elevated the whole dish. To pair, I had a cocktail called Boschetto, personally delivered by the bartender who explained its flavors. It was wonderfully balanced, with refreshing floral and fruity notes—light, sweet, I think it's even approachable for someone who doesn’t usually enjoy gin. For dessert, I chose my favorite French pastry, the Millefoglie (Napoleon). The almond puff pastry was incredibly crisp, the sweetness just right, and it ended the meal on a perfect note. Service was excellent from start to finish. My server, Caroline, was sweet and attentive throughout. At one point, another table was being very difficult with her—so much so that even I felt upset watching—but she remained calm, professional, and graceful the whole time. Overall, Bottega Angelina far exceeded my expectations. With outstanding food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere, it has easily become a must-visit spot for me in Orange County. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Google
Great food overall. Must try the meats (however I wish the server would explain each meat) the lobster risotto is amazing, the soup is hearty and the burrata is a must. It was our first time here, we did love the vibe, the food, the jazz music was a nice touch. The food is a bit over priced I think but the quality is good.

This place was absolutely amazing! The views, the atmosphere, our waiter, were just outstanding. I had grilled octopus that was incredible. My father had a seafood pasta that was so tasty. The calamari was so soft and it was such an enjoyable meal. We also ordered the Caesar salad to split and the anchovies on top were such a nice touch! We did get the cheesecake as a dessert and it was so beautiful. But not only was it beautiful looking it was incredibly tasty!I wish I would’ve taken pictures of our food, but we ate it way too fast! Here’s a picture of the dessert and we also got lattes, which were exceptional.

Impeccable food, impeccable service and impeccable atmosphere!!! Great Italian food- the foccacia rosmaria was so light and the balsamic vinegar served with it was amazing! I ordered the taglioni butter poached lobster was so, so delicious!!! My friends had cioppino, the risotto with butter poached lobster and the ravioli ... all our dishes were so good!!! The ravioli has a great presentation and the bolognese sauce with it was to die for!!!!! The service we had from April was incredible!! She had great suggestions and her wine suggestions were spot on!! You can't go wrong dining here!! I don't live in California but luckily my friends do so I'll be back to dine here again!!

Google
A friend invited us up here because I wanted to see the sunset while visiting Laguna beach. The environment is beautiful and the market in front was so fun to look at. I had a Prosecco, Chianti and my boyfriend had the house white. All were good and tasted above and beyond run of the mill selections. The burrata and eggplant antipasti were the stand outs along with the salad with crispy procuttio. My chicken Milanese was just ok, but the spaghetti with pork was the winner for mains. The banana pudding was a fun choice and the chocolate was like a layered mouse. I would try gelato over the chocolate. Service was attentive although absent once the bill was paid. Maybe we stayed too long enjoying dessert. We'd come back for the atmosphere and the drinks. Sitting outside on their patio at sunset is a lovely memory to cherish.

Beautiful sophisticated setting, great service and fun happy hour drinks. The wrap around patio with heaters and a fireplace is ideal to view the coastal sunsets. Highly recommend the wine tasting on the weekends.. great value!

Google
The service from reservation with Autumn, server Saul to musician was phenomenal. Thank you for making the birthday celebration an unforgettable one!! Birthday boy appreciates the fun complementary chocolate ball. The FOCACCIA AL ROSMARINO ($9) was fresh with amazing extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The BOTTEGA pizza ($24) was on the soggy side. MEZZI RIGATONI ALLO SCOGLIO ($32) if you’re looking for seafood. FETTUCINE BOLOGNESE ($24) and MILLEFOGLIE ($15) are clear winners for us. There’s no kids menu but there’s gelato stand that every kid would love. The view of sunset is breathtaking! Minutes away from Waldorf.

Yelp
For Father's Day, I chose to take my (Italian) family to Bottega Angelina. I had gone once before for brunch and it was such a great experience, I wanted to go back for the full Italian lunch spread. The gorgeous modern decor hits you as you first walk in past the beautiful little built-in Italian market - immediately you get excited for what's to come. We were sat outside, the view was nothing short of perfection. Our server April was lovely and attentive but not overly so, and got a really great photo of my family which was so kind. We ordered a few plates to all pick off of which was a great way to go if you're all hungry -- 2 pizzas, gnocchi, lasagna and a gorgeous kale salad everything was fresh and crafted to perfection. The dessert to follow was possibly the best gelato I've had, and we eat gelato a lot! We can't wait to return to BA!

Yelp
Food- I had linguini and clams, it was dry, not much flavor, I make much better myself. Clams served on the side of the bowl instead of in linguini either clam Juice, I like to dip bread in the juice but there wasn't any. To the chef, add more broth, add olive oil and parsley. It was just boring, sorry I am a foodie. My friends said their hood was just ok, nothing to rave about. Service - it was good Ambiance - excellent

Yelp
Been to "Bottega Angelina" a few times. My friend requested to find a wedding reception dinner venue. I reached out to the manager... She was simply amazing and so helpful! In just a few days notice they graciously accommodated us! We were so happily surprised to see their beautiful arrangement and the service. Food was great! The ambiance is breathtaking! They made my friends event a huge success :) Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
I would like to update my previous review from 3 years ago when the restaurant first opened. The food has immensely improved. The atmosphere is amazing. We had eggplant Parmesan, Pizza, and two pasta dishes all prepared fresh and good size portions. Congratulations Bottega Angelina!

Yelp
Went with a big group & sat outside & it was a perfect summer night! The drinks were slow to come but we were munching on appetizers in the meantime. One of the best Italian restaurants in Orange County. The restaurant is beautiful inside & outside you get an ocean view. They make their pasta from scratch & there's a small shopping cafe in the restaurant where you can buy from their bakery or different gifts. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Bottega Angelina is a beautiful restaurant with a market in the front, selling pasta, gelato and pastries. If the weather is nice, I recommend sitting in the outdoor patio, which has lovely views. I've been here a couple of times for lunch. The pizzas are good. I enjoyed my linguine alle vongole ($26), though it was on the pricey side for the portion size (likewise the lasagna bolognese at $29). I'd come more frequently but at these prices, it's more of a special occasion place for me. Parking in the lot.

Yelp
This place? Absolutely chef's kiss. From the jaw-dropping views to the dreamy atmosphere to a waiter who deserves his own fan club--it was 10/10 from the moment we sat down. I ordered the grilled octopus, and let me tell you, it was divine. Like, "why haven't I been eating this my whole life" good. My dad got the seafood pasta, which was so rich and flavorful I had serious plate envy. We started with the calamari--so tender it practically melted--and split a Caesar salad topped with anchovies that added the perfect salty crunch. Honestly, who knew anchovies could be a main character? And then... dessert. We got the cheesecake, and not only did it look like it belonged in a gallery, but it also tasted like a cloud of vanilla dreams. We paired it with lattes that were so good I almost proposed to mine. I wish I had photos of the food, but we inhaled it faster than you can say "Instagram eats first." Luckily, I snapped the cheesecake before it disappeared. You'll just have to take my word for the rest: it was all phenomenal.

Yelp
This is our second visit. I did not post our first visit from 2022 here, but I am adding a screenshot of what I posted on FB. I recall having the best wagyu sandwich for lunch and pistachio gelato. I was craving for Napoletana Pizza the other night and Bottega Angelina answered! Ambiance is always amazing! I'm still in awe of how a once tiny restaurant was able to elevate to the establishment they are today. Love their little Italian shop in front with goodies from Italy. Love the service, ambiance and food! Kudos to having consistent taste and service!

Yelp
Salad was spectacular. Pizza and meatball were really good. Clam Pasta was nice too. Service was excellent when they are not busy.

Yelp
Had dinner here for the first time on a recommendation from friends. Patio dining was nice with a great view of the coast and Catalina Island. Our service was friendly and attentive. Tasty prosciutto and melon appetizer. Enjoyed the pizza. They even have a good gluten-free option! Would recommend and look forward to returning.

Yelp
Great food. The Himachi Crudo was delicious and the seafood pasta dish was on point. How cute is their Italian market upfront?? The view is beautiful if you dine on their patio too

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant but I came to hear the amazing music of Le Grand Barr. Was lucky to catch the sunset from their spectacular patio. Had the calamari and then treated myself to dessert on the way out. Can't wait to come back (but only on Fri Sat Sun, of course, when Le Grand is there!)

Yelp
Really enjoyed my Sunday lunch here. We were the only customers here around 1pm but people started trickling in thereafter. Live pianist was playing and he was good. You can make reservations for outside patio on Reesy online. I think outside seating is preferred but with live music I think either are great. Enjoyed my coffee, lasagna, and tried the branzino--all of which was great. Service and view were great and I see myself coming back for dinner sometime.

Yelp
Nice place with a great view. The service is solid. The food is good with quality ingredients. Having been there for dinner, lunch, and a special occasion in the private room in the back, I'd recommend this place for lunch. The salads are really meant for a single person. The sandwich and pizza we shared sitting at the bar was good. The Branzino I had at dinner was cooked well, you're going to need to order a side or two with this. The standout is the calamari and shrimp appetizer. Definitely order this.

Yelp
We stopped by Bottega Angelina between lunch and dinner and sat at the bar. The bartender was great--helpful and friendly but not overbearing. The Tagliolini al Caviale was incredible--house-made pasta topped with Beluga caviar and a lemony sauce. I've been craving it every day since. We started with oysters and the Mozzarella and Melon, and since we couldn't decide between the regular focaccia and the Focaccia alle Cipolle, we got both. The onion focaccia was especially good. For drinks, we had the Giovanotto, one of their specialty cocktails with mezcal and passion fruit, and the bartender recommended a pear and ginger cocktail, which was also great. We also had an Aperol Spritz and one of their beers--everything was excellent. My husband got the Hamachi Crudo and loved it. The flavors were super fresh, with citrus and a little spice. Had dessert and coffee and everything was good, cute coffee mugs and I liked that the dessert was a reasonable size not giant. This was our third time here, and it's been great every time. We also used to go to their Los Olivos location all the time when we lived there. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Service was good! Ordered the focaccia, margarita pizza, and cannoli trio. Place has a pretty good ambiance. I will say it is expensive though. 3 mini canollis for $16 is pretty pricey. Focaccia was good, it's served with olive oil but I recommend also asking for balsamic and salt + pepper. Fresh bread but a little bland. Margarita pizza was delicious, crust and bread was perfect, sauce was on the sweeter side (not complaining). Super good. Cannolis were good but a little overrated, made mine and my friends stomachs hurt for some odd reason. Overall 8/10 experience, I'd come back!

Yelp
It's always a good time at Angelina's The service is amazing , our waiter Larry was so funny and so attentive spot on in every way... what a pleasure he was. Girls birthday is always a good time. The life music was amazing. A lot of Michael Jackson on the piano . We were just dancing in our seats. We decided that we wanted to sit on the plush couches next to the fireplace and celebrate a delicious birthday . Champagne, beautiful Italian calamari , meatballs And a perfectly prepared chicken dish... It's always happening at bottega Angelina's ...

Yelp
Bottega Angelina was a bucketlist location for me for quite some time. My girlfriends kept telling me "how have you not been there yet, its literally across the street?" Well, thanks to the Magic of Yelp and Fate , Im now a new regular! I came here earlier this week and wanted to return again for a birthday dinner tonight. Everyone on the team was awesome. We arrived at 5:30pm, with reservations, and were warmly greeted by the manager. When i mentioned this was my second time in the same week, he smiled. The ambiance is on point. This time, i was seated at a window seat with large couch/chaise next to the live music playing and i loved it! Soo comfortable. Almost immediately, the acoustic guitar player was playing and it was perfection!! We ordered the DIAVOLA PIZZE: $26 mozzarella di bufala, spicy salami, San Marzano DOP tomato, basil, EOO. Risotto Aragosta allo Zafferano $50.00 Grilled lobster tail, over risotto with saffron butter and parmigiano romano FOCACCIA 1/2 and 1/2 $9 1/2 freshly made rosemary focaccia and sweet onion ,maldon focaccia, maldon salt, with oil and vinegar. Drinks: me: Torroco #4. Everything was perfect. The lobster with the saffron butter and risotto honestly: chefs kiss! Best choice! The Pizza was also excellent! Kimberly remembered me from my previous visit and was super kind to say hello. She is a gem! Love her aura and her positive vibe! I forgot my servers name, but he was also amazing! Service 10/10. Food: 10/10 Drink: 10/10 The electric guitarist came over and spoke to my table and serenaded me. It was a great personal touch. 10/10! The sweetest moment for me: for my bday they surprised me with a chocolate ball, that had gold flakes on it, and a spoon. I was told to break it and see whats inside: inside was italian chocolate squares individually wrapped and delicious! I had to nibble on the chocolate ball after i broke into pieces and loved that too. After dinner we went to the mercato and couldn't resist buying some cannoli's and other goodies to go. I will review those on another post. Thank you Bottega Angelina for another great experience. Looking forward to being a regular and attending all the other events you have at your venue. Especially Happy hour and $27 club.

Yelp
Amber, our server, is amazing! She truly made us feel welcome and was super helpful. I would come back for the service we had!!

Yelp
So we are just getting back from dinner and looked more closely at my bill because as I was thinking the amount I paid was quite a lot for 4 people and my jaw dropped. At dinner tonight we ordered a bottle of 2019 Silver Oak Cab. After a long wait, this guy comes up and says I'm sorry but we are out of Silver Oak but this wine Covert is the same price. Mind you the Sliver Oak was $125. When I looked at my receipt I was charged $245!! What a scam!! Review edit - I received a call from the GM who explained the error and was amazing about it. I really do appreciate great customer service and will definitely be back. The food really is incredible.

Sabrina O.

Yelp
Had a great dinner last night at Bottega Angelina! Mo was our server and he came to check on us often and provided us with great service and laughs the whole time. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Came here for the OC Restaurant Week and I'll definitely be back. The view is incredible and the restaurant looks great on the inside - and being able to see the chefs make the pizza is always fun. The calamari was perfectly fried and the pollo al Milanese was great as well. There was a small miscommunication between the server and I and they replaced my dish immediately so I'd give the device 10/10. Definitely a good date spot my only suggestions is to increase the music volume.

Vince M.

Yelp
It was a beautiful Restaurant, ocean view, even from inside the restaurant. We had the Meatball appetizer, then focaccia bread, my wife had the Diavola pizza which was almost as good as 50 Kalo in Napoli, the service was a bit fast initially,we did ask them to slow down, the Rib was a bit fatty, all in all a great experience.
google avatar

Mickele B.

Yelp
My companion and I were celebrating a birthday and decided to celebrate! The kitschy market is hilarious, and full of fancy pasta and olive oil. The service was absolutely impeccable. The chef's choice Formaggi Misti (cheese) was delightful and top notch quality. The deck was extraordinary. Amazing views and stunning ambiance. There is a live musician playing music and singing. I'll be honest the pasta dish, Caramelle alla Nerano, was not sublime, the sauce was very heavy with a spinachy flavor. I did not see any evidence of "zucchini blossoms". Not sure why that would be whirled up in the filling, but maybe? A nice stop if you crave Italian!

Yelp
Beautiful venue and views. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Shout out to Pepe for taking care of us! What we ate : --Insalata Del Campo --Fritto di Mare --Bufala, Prosciutto e Melone --Salsiccia E Rapini -- Calzone --Tagliata di Manzo

Yelp
I love this Restaurant the food is delicious my favorite is the Calzone, the Service is great, the place is nice it could get a bit loud. I would definitely come back and recommend this place.

Yelp
Went to Angelina's on Thursday night for a quick bite to eat. I love the bar area. Absolutely gorgeous! The piano was playing beautifully. All upbeat songs that make you want to move. The sunset was amazing! I ended up ordering the Insalata Del Campo, La Rose Ravioli and Burrata Tartufata. All so delicious, but my favorite was the Ravioli which was unbelievably delicious. Of course the lemon drop martini was to die for. Service was impeccable. Any wait to go back.
google avatar

Brenda S.

Yelp
We checked out happy hour, only eligible at the bar, and had a great meal. The Tarocco #3, an "Italian margarita" as the bartender called it, was delicious! I also enjoyed their happy hour red, a Cab/Sangiovese blend. Polpettes, aka meatballs, are delicious. We also had the margarita flatbread (add red sauce, otherwise doesn't come with it), the non-happy hour Caesar salad (at $20), and the tuna (which was a miss for me, wouldn't rec). Bar service was excellent and a lovely piano player started at 6pm on a Thursday. Beautiful restaurant and we will definitely go back for another HH

Yelp
Food, service and setting were perfect. Not cheap, but you get what you you pay for. It's a great 'special night out' spot.

Yelp
We keep coming back to this lovely restaurant. Beautiful restaurant with an amazing outdoor patio with canyon and ocean views. Lovely Italian menu. Tonight we had the pleasure of listening to Keith the roving guitar player! A must try experience!
google avatar

Yelp
What a beautiful environment. Everyone here was so professional and friendly. Even the owner is easy to approach. Chris the Manager and Sommelier was so knowledgeable, I was trying to recreate a wine experience in Italy by describing the flavors and my experience and he was able to produce a wine that exactly replicated this experience. I was shocked. We will be coming back again for dinner.

Yelp
A friend was visiting family from Northern California and I drove up from San Diego to see her. This restaurant came highly recommended. It is a beautiful restaurant with lovely distant views. The decor is fun and I loved the little market and salumi deli. We arrived and were seated outside as requested. It was not very busy. The host was very welcoming. Once seated, we took some time to peruse the menu. We were there at brunch time. The server came and introduced himself and offered to answer any questions we had about the menu. Then we were left unattended for some time but we were catching up so we didn't mind too much. When the server returned, we ordered both our food and drinks because it appeared that if we just ordered drinks it would likely take some time until he returned to take our food order. We were right. The drinks took quite a while to finally get to us. My friend ordered the fruit plate and salmon toast. I ordered the Panuozzo Farcito which is Prosciutto di Parma, heirloom tomato, crescenza cheese, farm egg, argula and a small salad served in a huge pizza dough bowl. The fruit was fresh and flavorful and varied. She enjoyed the salmon toast but I didn't try it. My dish, whilst huge was wonderful, and I could only eat a small portion. Once we ate we sat for a long period of time until anyone returned. Another server came to check on us and I mentioned that we had likely been forgotten. We asked for to go containers and waited a considerable amount for those. Then he asked if we wanted dessert and brought that menu right away, but we decided it would likely not be worth the wait so opted for the check. The check took quite awhile to come as well. Finally, we paid and went to the market to look around. I found several items I wanted to buy for myself and gifts for friends, but quite a few items had no prices. My friend wanted gelato but there was no one attending to the market. We asked the host and he set about finding someone. We waited, and waited and waited. I believe it was a manager that returned and he could not find the price for the item I was looking at. He seemed very flustered. It took at least 10 minutes. My friend got her gelato and I paid for my item. All in all I think we were likely there for two and a half hours. I would come here again for the food and ambience but only if I had an inordinate amount of free time.

Yelp
I was excited to try this restaurant. I had heard good things from my family. Its situated on a hill with a spectacular view of the ocean. The restaurant itself is very upscale and contemporary. There is a little shop in the front with lots of gelato. The bar itself is pretty large and the dining area is very open. You can sit outside as well. Service was great. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very nice and was always checking on us. I wish I could have given this restaurant a 5 but the food brings it down to a 3. The food isn't bad by any means. We ordered the Breaded Chicken, Marinara Pizza(no cheese! Great for those with lactose issues), and Fettucine Bolognese. For the price point I was expecting better. As others have said, their dishes need more seasoning, flavor, etc. The chicken was good but bland. The pizza sauce was good but the crust is very overwhelming(I didn't mind the thinness). The Bolognese wasn't anything special either. The menu makes the dishes sound out of this world but they just aren't. In conclusion, it seems like they don't know what they want this place to be. Upscale with ordinary food? It's like they are trying to force it to justify the price point with the view. Using extremely elegant and fantastical words to describe dishes that are more ordinary doesn't cut it. Go here for the view, drinks and apps. If you want good Italian food, there are much better places.

Yelp
This is a late review from 10/26 from a dinner we had with my brother & sister-in-law. We had a party of 4 with 2 doggies and dined on their lovely outdoor patio. It was a beautiful night in Laguna Nigel, they had live smooth jazz music playing that evening and were waited on by the best server ever! It pains me that I can recall her name but she was absolutely amazing. She loved both our dogs, she did the table side bread service (her 1st time doing that by the way), she gave great recommendations regarding menu selections, and checked in on us often and was most hospitable. They were out of a certain Vegan pasta dish which the restaurant was phasing out, but other than that, EVERYTHING was off-the-charts awesome from the food, the service, the live music, the weather, the "vibe" that evening. The best thing we loved was the Passionfruit Cheesecake which appeared to be deconstructed in appearance as it's served in a dessert sundae glass... It was the best thing we tasted all evening! Don't let my praise for this dessert discount the other stuff ordered as there wasn't any dish we didn't love, BUT that one will be the reason I even remember Bottega Angelina! We're from San Diego, and we can't wait until the next time we dine here again just to re-order the Passionfruit Cheesecake.

Yelp
My family eats here all the time and the food is great! I love that they have gluten free option on their pizzas and it's actually delicious! The service is great and the ambiance is bright and inviting with an ocean view! We love it here. They have a great cafe for pastries, gelato, cakes, fresh pasta and tons of great Italian ingredients. It's my go-to for making fresh pasta at home. Don't listen to the negative ratings either.

Yelp
I've had an amazing family dinner last night at Bottega Angelina. I have to say that this restaurant always been a very special place for me since it first opened its doors. I've noticed that for a past couple years they had to switch their staff but keep up with the quality which is extremely hard if you are trying to maintain your place as a gastronomical restaurant with high end standards. I'm the person who traveled through Europe and I gotta say that they were able to achieve a very attractive and beautiful place that combines a great atmosphere with a Taste in food and style. If you are craving to find a place with a taste in all senses and enjoy your visit then I definitely recommend Bottega to everyone.

Yelp
Dining on a Friday night is always a bit tricky especially when you are lucky to have a restaurant that has reservations. Ask for Amber as she is a great wait staff person. Knowledgeable with recommendations without pressure.

Yelp
Always good, never had a bad experience. Estela was our server. Very sweet. Brought my mom that was visiting from out of state. She said the food was better than a lot of places in Italy. I highly recommend the Margherita pizza and the Rosemary focaccia. I didn't get it this time but the pulpete al sugo is very flavorful as well. They have some very good pasta dishes as well!

Yelp
One of my favorite places to dine when in South OC. The restaurant has a lot of style and overall a classy yet fun ambiance. I love looking at all the pastries at their market. We got the sea bass and the diavola pizza, which was the best pizza I have ever had in my life, no joke it is amazing. All the pizzas are cooked in the wood-fired oven. Can't go wrong at this place! We got cannolis to end the night and they were excellent

Yelp
I found the place on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. We got seated on a very small table. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and wanted to enjoy the patio. He saw an open table on the patio and asked if we could be moved. Our server Victoria was able to accommodate us. We enjoyed the ocean view and the nice ambiance. We ordered arancini, the branzino and pizza burrata. They were out of prosciutto so I asked to substitute with ham. The arancini were ok, but the fish and the pizza were amazing! The pizza dough was perfect. The red wine was the perfect complement for the food. And of course, the free dessert for the birthday guy! We are definitely going back next time we visit Cali! And a special shout out to our server! She made our night!

Yelp
LOUD LOUD LOUD MUSIC! No one could hear anyone talk, the servers have to lean in super close to hear you and talk. We were seated in the back so I feel sorry for the eardrums of the people closer to the speakers. Surprised employees or patrons haven't blown out their eardrums. The Staff should definitely wear ear plugs to not lose their hearing! (I'm a musician so i'm very careful about hearing damage). On a Saturday, 8pm , the songs were great. Loud but not obscene. Then an hour later, the music changed up and it was unbearably LOUD! Nightclub level speakers...my ears were bleeding! Hostess was so nice and friendly. She's great. Love her! Server nice and chef accommodated a Cacio e Pepe request. It was ok. Mezzi seafood rigatoni pasta and sauce is good. Prosciutto, Burrata, and melon was superb! Dessert Mille-feuille cream and berry sauce is beyond! Just... turn down the volume please! People have been complaining about the insanely high volume of the live music for 2 years and nothing has been done about it. Bring earplugs and just text each other if you want to communicate at this restaurant. Or sit outside.

Yelp
I ordered again from Uber Eats and the food was packaged adorably but the food was extremely disappointing. Chicken portion was minuscule and mushrooms were too buttery. The salad was not worth the price. I think they spend too much on packaging instead of focusing on their food portions!

Yelp
Came here with some friends last week. The food here is good, Men, the music selection suck tonight. It jump from hip hop to club like music. You should just turn off the music.its really annoying. The service is always good. But the music.

Yelp
Bottega Angelina...located on cross streets between bland and WTF. Just because you name your food in Italian, it doesn't make it fancy nor does it mean it's going to taste good. Bottega Angelina served sub par food with unfortunately matching service to go with it. I'm shocked that an Italian restaurant would serve plain breaded chicken, where is the sauce to give it more flavor? I was so confused as the dish felt and tasted incomplete. The pizza was soggy, but had good enough flavors. Frankly, just go across the street to Roundtable if you want a better pizza. The beet salad was pretty looking, but the flavors were just basic. None of the plates we tried stuck the landing completely, maybe we ordered the wrong things. The restaurant interior is open and gives Miami elegance. There is live music, and if you're into that, you'll love it, otherwise, you'll find it noisy. Our server was nice, and maybe over stretched with tables and not able to attend to us well enough. My attempt to get a drink at the bar prior to sitting down was a disappointment. We ordered drinks but took just way too long as the bartender basically ignored us for some time while he kept serving others at the bar. The Bottega Angelina team is nice enough, just think their service overall is not well focused. Could be due to not enough people? I felt the food was overpriced for what it was, nothing special, and the service didn't make up for the high prices. If all you care is about loud music and a pretty interior, this is your place.

Yelp
Wow some of best Italian food I've had in a while. It's very important for me to go to restaurants that make everything from scratch and it's obvious that they do. You can even watch them make the pasta from the outside of the building! The Tagliolini al Caviale was amazing! The pasta is lemony & topped with Beluga Caviar and it was delicious. Also loved the bread cart that comes to your table. It's little touches like this that make you feel like your on vacation at some Michelin star restaurant. Definitely recommend coming here, great vibes & food!

Yelp
Beautiful space. High prices. Our salad was great and our pizza was delicious. Sorbet was a little icy and didn't seem fresh. Took a while for anyone to see us waiting at the door and a woman who looked like a manager finally approached us at the door and instead of being warm and inviting just said "let me get a host" it wasn't busy so not sure why she couldn't just seat us, but the food was great so we ignored the first impression! I will probably dine here again.

Yelp
Usually my favorite place to go and still is for Gluten free pizza... but probably won't be ordering a main course there again. Olive oil is healthy but for most people and me, however cutting it with canola oil becomes toxic to my system. Next time I will stay away from fish there unless they promise to use only butter and olive oil. The jury is out on canola oil and health but for me it is toxic. Also-I'm sorry to say that the inside dining service was uneven and someone wasn't listening. My friend ordered vegetarian pasta and it came with smiling clams so had to be remade. It was a rainy night and way too loud inside-so perhaps someone in the chain from ordering to the kitchen and then getting the meal from a different server presented plenty of places for miscommunication and I guess that happens. Any place can have a bad night. But... Maybe it will be a better experience next time...if for just a pizza and salad. Btw I called and told the manager how sick I was and was told that olive oil has a low smoke that is why they cut it with canola oil-but I was pretty sick from the meal. He said he was sorry.

Yelp
Went here for lunch for my Dad's birthday. Food was excellent - I got the lasagna (and I don't even like lasagna that much) and it was delicious! It was light and filling. We also got the pistachio cake for dessert. It was so good too. The best part - the iced tea! It was served hot, then poured over into an ice pitcher and then into your glass. Such a fancy presentation!
