The 16 Best Restaurants in Laval, Quebec | Eater Montreal

"Fabrizio Covone’s Neopolitan pizzeria in Little Italy is credited with starting the 90-second wood-burning pizza oven craze in Montreal when it opened back in 2006. This upscale-casual Laval outlet is an equally smart business venture, catering to the area’s large Italian community and its many Italophiles. The dough comes topped with officially Neopolitan-sanctioned toppings, including San Marzano tomatoes and Italian mozzarella for its menu of red and white pies." - Erinn Blicher

Was impressed! Hands down one of the best pizzerias in town. We were a large group, and the only little ick is that we had to wait 15 minutes for a table we had reserved, but I understood later, since we stayed ourselves more than 3 hours seated. The service is fast, professional and friendly. Our server Florence was so accommodating, skilled and kind. A very enjoyable atmosphere in general in the restaurant. And omg the food. Pizzas are insane, the “pizza oven taste” topped with rich flavours really stands out. Most of us ordered the special menu of the week, and it didn’t disappoint. The tagliatelle had a generous portion of ground beef. And the focaccia… heavenly! Would definitely be back, a place with delicious food, professional service and super fair prices!

Wow. This is a real authentic Italian place. From Napoli to Canada. Loved every item we ordered. It takes you to a trip to Naples.. Not the western way of doing Italian food, but the real Italian way of doing Italian food. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The place is need. The price is ok. Such a wonderful experience

Google
One of the most upscale pizza places I’ve ever been to. The server we had was a delight and full of information. You must try the meatballs!

Google
The truffle and egg pizza was incredible. I also recommend the arancini. My only complaint is the pizza wasn’t cut (maybe a French Canadian thing) and service was slooooow. We spent 90+ mins here for a lunch and were late getting back to the office.

Google
I was pleasantly surprised with the service, the food and the ambiance of this place! We were warmly welcomed by the hostess upon arrival who took our coats and hung them herself. We then got a place at the bar because there was no table available. I usually do not like high chair but these were supper comfortable (we stayed here about 3 hours). Then despite the restaurant being so busy, we were greeted right away by our waitress Genevieve who was super welcoming. They gave us a complimentary bread for starter and it was delicious with olive oil that you can add to taste. We order 2 entrees and a pizza, the entrees got delivered together and almost as soon as we were done we got our pizza. Perhaps the BEST PIZZA IN TOWN! everything about it tasted delicious even the crust!. We finished off with a coffee and dessert. The whole time we were there the service was impeccable! I remember dropping my napkin and I didn’t even notice until someone from the staff handed me a new one after picking mine from the floor! I absolutely wowed by this place! It felt like being in a high end restaurant. 100% recommend

Google
Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. There is a wide selection of wines in a warm and cozy setup. The food however is average and no dish did stand out. There is a good selection of cocktails on the menu, the negroni was decent.

Google
Top 3 pizza in the large Montreal area . If I can be picky, dough was good but was missing a bit of air ( crust was full instead of being filled with large air bubble in true neapolitan style) , sauce lacked a hint of salt but I ate it all . Tiramisu was 12$ and was meh , no coffee flavor at all , the ladyfinger were like cake pieces . My friend had the homemade gelato and he was raving about it. Would go back for the excellent pizza but would not take the tiramisu ever again.

The staff was amazing, we forgot to make reservation and they were able to accommodate us. Thank you !

Yelp
I like this place a lot, particularly with its pizza. Bake with real firewood in their pizza oven. The aroma was so good. All perfectly done. We went in a group of 9 people with reservation. Free parking and it was completely packed. Certainly a good sign of a nice restaurant. We arrived 10 min early but the table was delayed by the last round of patrons. The waitress was so smart to offer each of us complimentary champagne because of this. Pretty darn nice. We ordered pizzas, Panozzo (big size pizza pocket stuffed with ham, eggplants, and mozzarella), calamari, cheese, a few fettuccine, and a couple of Martini. Among those items, pizzas stood out pretty well. Not only the taste and size but also the toppings as well as the firewood aroma. Beautifully done. Highly recommended. Cool ambiance for dining with great music. Great vibe. The servers were nice and friendly. On top of typical Montreal-style small restaurant tables, this place also offers long tables to accommodate bigger groups. It certainly brings you a very enjoyable dining experience with your buddies for sure. It's such a good dining place. We had a wonderful time catch-up with friends in Laval. No wonder the parking lot was jam-packed! Haha.

Yelp
We went for a dinner with colleagues from the office here recently and the food and was good. The wood fire Margherita pizza we had a genuinely authentic Italian taste. The ambiance was great as well. It's a authentic Italian gem of a place nestled in a nice suburban district. Service was quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food.

Yelp
Stopped through while in Laval on business and was not disappointed! Great food, wine selection, and staff. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This used to be my favourite pizza in the Montreal area, I used to be a regular client before pandemic. Ordered a focaccia pizza and it was not focaccia and barely edible, an extremely dried thin pizza crust. My wife ordered a pizza with zucchini and Eggplant, vegetables were raw, pizza tasteless. We let know the staff about it, they offered something else but would take 10-15 mins cooking, we denied the offer but they still charged full price for everything. The fried calamari entree was good. Ambiance was good. But these mistakes are not aceptable for a place like this, I won't be returning to the Laval location in the foreseeable future.

Yelp
Good pizza in a vibrant buzzy restaurant in suburban Montreal. A surprise- a standalone building in a strip-like spot, across a highway from a mall- Ask, what could work here? Turns out, a fully booked Sat nite spot; after our hotel white-lied about making our rez, a confidently confident hostess offers us her booking bar stool, the bar corner and 10minutes later, a sudden table- 'I told you' she says. The pizza is a proper Italianate. Thin flavorful crust, the hairy umami fish(anchovy) on the Romana, a caprese/truffle/tomato/shallots alternative, and 6 or 7 others. Veal appetizer, excellent meatballs, and a commodity calamari (journeyman-fine, consumed and forgotten). Focus upon what they make there, onsite. If back nearby, I'll be back for the Pizza.

Yelp
My sister has been requesting the family to try this place since her best friend raved about this place. We arrived around 5:30 pm, the restaurant is barely busy. We arrived without a reservation; so they placed us by the bar. Within few 15-20 minutes; the place was packed, no wonder they placed at the bar. It is a pretty large and elegant restaurant. The service is top notch. Our waiter John was friendly, attentive and helpful with his recommendations. I shared a fried calamari plate with my family. It was slightly salty and oily. Unfortunately, we received the calamari with a wedge of lemon. I guess I am used to receive calamari with marinara sauce. When I asked if there is a sauce, our waiter said it's usually plain like this, but he can order a plain tomato sauce for an extra charge. So no thank you. Each family member had their own pizza(Nolana, Siciliana, and Margherita)which they enjoyed immensely. I took gnocchis with tomato sauce. This place isn't your typical Italian restaurant. When I received my dish; I wasn't ask if I want peppers or parmesan cheese over my pasta. I took some spiced pickles from my mother and pour over my gnocchis, which were absolute delight. Beautiful place, excellent service and delicious food, therefore it is recommended! Not a typical Italian restaurant, where they would give the extra with your food, but if you want some extra, then there will be surplus charge.

Yelp
From Naples with Love The team @bottegapizzerialaval whip up a simple/fresh napolitain pizza under 90 seconds, with their vesuvian rock wood burning oven from Napoli. The decor is chic & there's tons of parking. Service at the bar was great. The barmaid read my mind. Like a Ninja turtle, Jacky loves anchovies so he went with La Romana. Pizza is delicious, ingredients fresh, & crust perfectly cooked. Evening price are decent & even better at lunch. If you're in the 450, go ahead & check 'em out. Follow @JackyEatMTL

Yelp
After a Yelp Elite event in Laval (otherwise I'd never be in Laval!!), someone suggested Bottega if we wanted some amazing Italian pizza nearby. I really enjoyed my experience here! The service was friendly and efficient. There was no pressure to order wine or a drink if we didn't want to or an appetizer for that matter, which I appreciate. I ordered the margharita pizza; a great way to judge a pizza restaurant as it's the simplest of pizzas. The tomato sauce on the pizza was delicious and I loved the taste of the crust because of the wood-burning oven. However, I did find the middle of the pizza a little soggy probably because the dough was so thin and it's not as good once it cools down. I knew we were going to order the nutella dessert pizza to share (I had never tried one before), so I ate 2/3 of my pizza (could've easily finished it) and took the rest to go. The nutella pizza was the star here. Perfectly cooked, the nutella melted in my mouth and I wanted to eat the whole thing but restricted myself to 2 slices. I would go back just for that. Having spent less than $25 with taxes and tips, I don't find it crazy expensive though I didn't order any drinks or appetizers. Will probably return to the Little Italy location (which I've been to before).

Yelp
I always get my Margherita pizza here and it's on point each time. I find that the pizza here comes our soggy a bit but that's what makes it so delicious. I also get my chocolate pistachio gelato here. The price range per dish is $$ which is not bad for a nice restaurant in Laval. Definitely visit for yummy pizza!

Yelp
One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in Montreal. The place was packed and so my friend and I ordered some meatballs to start and ordered 2 pizzas. The meatballs were ok but for the amount they charge for them they should include a few more. The pizzas arrived ....but where's the cheese???? Barely any cheese. Disappointing. When we brought up the issue with the host as we were leaving, he says, "Well we don't put too much cheese on our pizzas". Oh really? Well that supposes that you put SOME cheese...right? Won't be going back. This restaurant is all hype and NO CHEESE.
google avatar

Sehrish N.

Yelp
Service was great! We got our food remarkably quick, very impressed! I loved my pizza. It was a thin crust marinara pizza and I devoured it. The sauce was very flavour full. The Nutella pizza was the best part of it all. The pizza wasn't covered in an excessive amount of chocolate so you didn't get overwhelmed. Really enjoyed a quick dinner here but definitely coming back. The resto has nice decor and presentation. Parking is abundant in the back. They have outdoor seating as well. The prices are slightly steep. However, I wouldn't mind having a good meal here instead of dealing with downtown/old port traffic and parking once in a while

Yelp
Oh Bottega, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways! I have been coming to Bottega for a long time because they make the best pizza in the city, no questions asked. Pre-Bottega Montreal and its surrounding areas had been lacking a proper Neapolitan pizza but they changed that when they opened their first location in Little Italy a few years ago. Of course it became so popular that the second one in Laval would soon follow. Having experienced both Bottega locations, the Laval one is definitely my favourite. The menu and quality of the food is the same at both. The Laval location is bigger so it feels more spacious and I find it easy to get a reservation here even at the last minute. Also in this location there is always plenty of parking available. The menu is small and focused. Pizza is the star here so while they have appetizers, or sfizi as they call them you should come here expecting to eat pizza as your main dish. As far as the sfizi goes my personal favourites are the meatballs and the insalata caprese, which contains real mozzarella di bufala. Now let's be clear on something. They do Naples-style pizzas which means that they are simple and have only a handful of ingredients. Don't worry though because while they may seem simple they are bursting with flavour. They use a wood-burning oven which always gives the crust a nice, smoky taste that can't be reproduced in an electric oven. They also use higher quality ingredients which of course makes for a tastier pizza. The dessert menu is small but they do a good job with everything on it. I'm a fan of their cannoli which always have a crunchy exterior while still being loaded with decadent ricotta filling. Good cannoli are hard to find but Bottega gets it right. The service here is generally pretty good with the occasional off night. For the most part the food comes quickly. The wait staff also knows the menu very well and can be counted on to make recommendations if you are unsure of what to order. If you are looking for an amazing pizza that will remind you of what you get in Italy then this is the place. I don't come to Bottega too often but I always enjoy myself when I do. The restaurant is in a class of its own.

Yelp
First time in Laval for a Yelp event, one of the Elite recommended Bottega as a good spot to grab dinner. The restaurant was large with outdoor parking. There is a regular menu and a large selection of wines and menu de jour. Pizzas start at 17$. I tried the special of the day pizza that has a combination of pesto, pistachio, sundried tomatoes, burrata and prosciutto 3/5-25$. On the pricey side-the presentation for the dish was lovely but I thought the pizza dough/crust wasn't a texture I was crazy about-and the flavours weren't spectacular for an overprice. The Nutella pizza on the contrary was very good 4/5, we split this for dessert. It wasn't too heavy on the chocolate and I perfectly dusted with icing sugar. With a share bottle of wine- I paid 60$+ with tip. I didn't think my meal was worth my price. However, service was good.

Yelp
Made a reservation for 2 people on a Saturday night, and thank God! It was Very packed. But such a surprise to find an authentic place like this in Laval! The pizza was amaaazing and the tiramisu, even better!!
google avatar

Jacynthe S.

Yelp
Tried this place with a friend after we heard how good the pizza were and how authentic this place is. We got there and the place was pretty empty and we were told that we can only be seated at the bar and that we had to be gone by 7:30. I am not going to lie it was a bit of a turn off but I figure I am here might as well we eat and being that it was 5:30 we still had 2 hrs to eat. Within one hour the place was packed. I don't remember the pizza I picked but it was amazing cheese, olive, mushroom and prosciutto. My friend got a Margherita pizza and it was also very fresh a s tasty. I had an entree of olive with some bread and very good olive oil. It is a fancy and expensive place but you do get good service and very good food. Next time I will try the pasta and see if they are as good as the pizzas

Yelp
Table of 6: Everything was good... When a waitress came to our table and told us to leave because there was a second service waiting for us to clear the table. I don't care how much a seat is worth per service. If customers take the time to make reservations, order drinks, appetizers, mains, deserts, and coffees... Find another table for people standing. I guess you may think 2 hours is enough per service, which in most cases could be true if it didn't take orders 45 minutes to be brought to their respective table. Right? Repeat business and making customers feel welcome - obviously is not a priority. I'll gladly spend my money elsewhere if you don't appreciate the patronage. Last I checked, Restaurants fall under the Service Industry and not under the OrderyourfoodandinhaleitquicklythenpayandtipandgettheFoutASAP Industry.

Yelp
I've been back a handfull of times since the last update and I haven't seen my "favorite" waitress. So I'm back to being a fan! It's a must to ask about the daily specials for dinner and dessert. They always have something homemade to choose from. Here, it's simply fresh, authentic Italian cuisine. You can't ask for more than that in today's resto scene. BUT you must ask to have your pizza pie cut (and make it very clear to your waiter) or you will be cutting it yourself. When you eat here, you feel fresh afterwards- not heavy. Idea: they really need to go with the Dyson Airblade. The washrooms are quite slick, yet they installed the most oldschool, ugly hand dryers. It just doesn't fit lol

Lucy F.

Yelp
Tried it 2 years ago and was really not impressed. The portions and taste were just not there. HOWEVER, I gave it another try a few weeks ago on Uber... and they definitely redeemed themselves. The bacio and the pizza were absolutely delicious. We had to reheat but that is to be expected with delivery. Will definitely be going back :)

Yelp
There aren't a lot of places in the Montreal region you can get your hands on some great authentic Napoletan pizza. This place is a regular for my wife and I. I won't go into all the details but the Pizzas are great. Thin crust, focus on the quality of the ingredients. Fresh and tasty. Quebecois beware. There aren't handfuls of toppings, the Quebecois couple we invited with us once were shocked to have been deprived their usual bucket of toppings that dilutes the taste of a well done wood oven cooked pizza. The arancini balls are very very good. Their Nutella Pizza is a favorite of ours too. Service is quick and friendly. My highlights are when the owner passes by and says hello and I get to converse some of my rusty Napoletan. :)
google avatar

D'Arcy L.

Yelp
I wanted to sample Bottega after fellow Yelper Jason had raved about their pizza as being one of the best you can enjoy in Montreal's sister suburb Laval. OK I was thinking in my head? Does Jason know pizza or does he merely think he knows pizza? Conclusion....this is one of the best pizzas I've had in a long while since my trip to Italy last year. One of my other favourite pizzas is American Flatbread in Burlington, VT. I'd rank up there with what I'd consider some of the best pizza I've sampled. Let me explain folks.....I enjoy pizza with mega toppings. Yes....if you visit Italy you will have people squinting at you with some weird looks if you ask for an"all dressed" (toute garnie) pizza pie. A true Napoli style pizza is very simple and the loaded pizza is more the American creation that will add extra padding below the belt line. Here (at Bottega) as others have mentioned they keep it simple. Not crazy amounts of toppings. So I ended up going with the Capricossa. I was told by our server that this was the most loaded pizza on the menu. It was crisp yet the dough had a nice fluffiness to it also and a wonderful texture of flavour that was dancing around in my mouth. Before my pizza I had the calamari as an appetizer which is also one of my favourites when done correctly. Squid was light crispy and delicious as well. One note to keep in mind this is mainly a higher end pizza joint. They do have appetizers on the menu but no pasta dishes. Also some expect bring your own wine. This is not one of those places but they have a pretty well stocked bar. Definitely worth returning as the pizza was amazing. If you are thinking about Italian in Laval and want pizza come here rather than going to Enotecca Mozza or Portovino. For the pizza it's miles above those places.

Yelp
Fantastic pizza. I came here for a good margarita pizza, and this place did not disappoint! Thin crust. Slight burns. Great sauce. What a win! I celebrated my gfs birthday with her family and they were even cool enough to prepare a Nutella pizza for her with a candle on the crust. That's good service for you.
google avatar

Yan D.

Yelp
What a great restaurant. Enjoyed one of the best Italian meals in the city. Great appetizers, the pizza is AMAZING! (the dough is just incredible from their wood burning oven), and finished the evening with delicious desert. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Val H.

Yelp
After reading the amazing reviews, I was so excited to try the pizza at Bottega! Wow what a let down. The crust is soggy and undercooked (all 6 pizzas ordered) and the woman next to us sent hers back twice before giving up and leaving without eating. The arancini was disappointing & dry and didn't come with any marinara. The bacia was bland. Great bright decor for a lunch spot but the pizza is just so bad, who cares?! And this is not just my personal opinion, the tables on both sides of me were also complaining of soggy pizzas!
google avatar

Rich A.

Yelp
This is the closest thing to being in Naples and having what is the best pizza in the world. Bottega clearly managed to bring to our fair city an honest taste of Napoli without question. It can get a little pricey however, for those who have had a margherita in either Naples, Ischia or Capri, then you know this spot is worth it and you can leave the Euros at home for another time. Put this down as a must try if you haven't already. Keep in mind most do know how good it is so it does get very busy.
google avatar

Carmel B.

Yelp
The ambiance is great and the service was good. Where Bottega fell short was in their execution. Meals were slow to arrive. Being polite, we waited until everyone had their meal but the delay was ridiculously long. The pizza itself was nothing spectacular. The water buffalo mozzarella was kind of nice but was done a disservice by the overcooked crust and bland sauce. To me it was all the signs of a rushed kitchen that just couldn't hack the pressure. I'd normally brush it off and say I'll be back to try it on a less crowded night but with their pricing, I don't know. Bottom line: When you charge $18 for a personal cheese pizza your game better be tight!!!
google avatar

Kali E.

Yelp
Bottega, you are OH SO YUMMY! I work close to this restaurant so i've already come to eat here a few times. The place can get busy in the evenings, so be sure to reserve! I can vouch for their delicious arancinis, meatballs and margherita pizza! I think their pizza is the best i've ever had. The dough is so so tasty and everything is made with love. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere so it's perfect for birthdays/special occassions. DEFINATELY RECOMMEND!
google avatar

Gilles D.

Yelp
Really nice place and excellent pizza if you don't mind the crust being a little thick. I also had a bruschetta with grilled octopus for lunch the other day. That was FANTASTIC. I would eat that at every meal every day.... Update: the whole office dreams of having lunch there. It a all time favorite. Also brought my kids: pizza diavolo for one and gnocchi for the other. They want to go back, they are obsessed!
google avatar

Eric P.

Yelp
This is the best restaurant in Laval for casual dining. Real Italian wood fired pizza and good wines. I go about every month since their opening for business and also with my family. I don't understand the low reviews while chain restaurants get high reviews...c'mon Laval, this is much better than Casa G...
google avatar

Amluco F.

Yelp
Best Italian restaurant in Laval, by far !!! Only improvement could be to add a few more daily specials. Especially some more daily pasta specials, and maybe a pizza special of the week, like a Sicilian pizza with pistachio pesto and salciccia , hint hint !!
google avatar

Ara K.

Yelp
Reservations a must otherwise a 30 minute wait is in order. Extremely limited menu. Pleasant service. Most pizzas offered are simply made with bland sauce and microscopic amounts of cheese. White chewy dough with burnt spots on crust. Only 2 meat options for pizzas. $8 per shrimp. I'm not really sure why this place is often packed but if your big on artisanal pizzas with barely any toppings, this place will please you. Otherwise pick another place if your looking for a satisfying decadent pie.
google avatar

Kai P.

Yelp
I don't understand the big fuzz about this place. It's overrated. The pizza is average, the tables are too close to each other, and it's noisy. The service is fast but most of the waiters aren't smiling. Our waiter didn't explain the items off the menu and we didn't get bread. I wish I would have appreciated more my experience here but I was disappointed.
google avatar

Raphaelle J.

Yelp
Bottega you are my benchmark for Italian! There are no words to express how good this place is. It's all about the experience! I have tried so many items on their menu and never been disappointed. Once you taste it, you will have a hard time finding another Italian restaurant that comes up to their level. FANTASTIC!!!
google avatar

Darine B.

Yelp
Great pizza! It reminds me of my food experience in Italy! Made me nostalgic :) perfect spot for a romantic date and great food!
google avatar

Julio B.

Yelp
This is not your average pizzeria. Most people who've had the pizza here are split on this place! I happen to love it! If you're looking for an american style with thick crust and cheap toppings, go somewhere else. If you're looking for (in my opinion) one of the best italian style thin chewy crust pizzas in MTL, check this place out! Everything else on the minute is above par; the sfizzi are all delicious! The atmosphere is classy and well lit. If you haven't been, you owe it to yourself to check this place out and make up your own mind on their pizza. If you've never been to Italy and want to know what a real pizza taste like... Head to this place and try a margherita! Buon appetito!
google avatar

Gaetan N.

Yelp
Very good restaurant. Pizza are good even tough the dought is a bit too thick for an Italian restaurant. Not all waiter were welcoming...

Denis B.

Yelp
Loved the ambience and the appetizer menu is very hard to beat and the pizzas are amazing unique and Italian typical
google avatar

Bianca F.

Yelp
Excellent place! My husband and I were staying at the hotel behind the restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were very pleased with the whole experience from the service to the wine. The food was great and no complaints.
google avatar

Adria T.

Yelp
Great restaurant. I am vegan and they were very accommodating with substitutions. The pizza is DElicious. The rapini is great. The gelato is awesome. I got the granita. Service was good. Only reason i gave 4 stars is the location and just a little over priced. But i will be going back on the regular. Just found my new favorite spot in laval.

Sel C.

Yelp
OH YEAH!! Three words: authentic. Neapolitan. Pizza. It's simple, delicious and the way pizza should be made! The other items on the menu are excellent as well. I've tried the daily specials there too and I've yet to be disappointed. I suggest making reservations as it gets busy and there really isn't anywhere to wait. They have a bar but on busy nights even that is full. It's a happening place with great food. It'a a no-brainer. GO NOW!

najwa K.

Yelp

Jim D.

Yelp
Found this restaurant last night and it's times like that I'm thankful for yelp app. This place is absolutely fantastic and I'd never tried Portuguese BBQ before. Best chicken for sure and the rice was very tasty. All food is prepped right in front of you and service was top notch.

Denis A.

Yelp
Excellent;-D Love the atmosphere and cuisine Service is great Definitely best Italian in Laval Be sure to reserve on weekends since it is very busy.

Yelp
I gave this place a 3 bc the staff was rude but the food was great! Good pizza! Atmosphere was loud but not unbearable. No music. I don't speak French and they didn't have an English menu so that was frustrating. Overall, good food but don't expect to be paid attention to.
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Would not recommend this place, manager as attitude problem and no class , we had reservation for 8.30 it was 9.15 still no place,we complaind and he said if we are not happy u could leave how professional ,and the pizza I tasted better
google avatar

Vin M.

Yelp
The pizza was amazing and the wine list was great. It has to be one of the most delicious places to eat in greater Montreal. Unfortunately I feel that due to the way my guests and I were treated , I cannot award more than three stars. After a $350 bill ( excluding tip) split four ways, I did not expect the owner to stand next to our table for half an hour staring at us. He was obviously upset that we spent 2 hours at the establishment. He had customers waiting to be seated so he tried to make us feel uncomfortable enough to leave . When he saw that this did not work , he had his waiter ask us to leave. Not only was this rude, it was embarrassing. We may have overstayed our welcome but at the amount of money we spent on wine and food, we deserved to be treated with a little more class. I will never step foot in this location again. While the food was amazing, customer service and appreciation was not. How would I have handled the situation? I would ask the guests if they would want to purchase another item on the menu! This is a nice way of saying please buy some more or leave....( this was not done by the waiter)...if that doesn't work, politely say to the guests that others are waiting , that you feel horrible to ask them to leave and perhaps give them a free piece of cake to bring home or a small pizza. A gesture like this says...I care about you Mr customer however I also need to serve my other waiting customers. ....common sense !

Yelp
Went there on a friday night with my boyfriend. We loved it! The ambiance is really nice and the decor too. Their pizzas are so good!! The waiter was friendly and answered our questions well. We really loved our experience there and will definetly go back!

Yelp
Horrible, horrible, horrible. They turned what was supposed to be a wonderful night out for our wedding anniversary into an utter failure. After receiving our appetizers, we waited an hour to receive our meals, while waiters completely avoided us and people who were seated after us finished their meals. When our waiter finally noticed we were missing our meals, he went to check something... While we continued to wait. He came to see us, mumbled something, and said our order would be right up. And yet, we kept waiting while other tables received their order. Tired of waiting, we asked another waiter for our check... Lo and behold, not even 30 seconds later, our waiter comes out with our pizzas, in take-out boxes, with the check on top. Flabbergasted by this crappy service, we asked what was happening. He snarked "well you wanted to leave, didnt you?" He could've brought out the pizzas on a plate and apologized and tried to make up for this! But no, his excuse was "well there was another table that asked for three pizzas, so your order was pushed back" WHAT!? The hostess, who also claimed to be the "manager", came by and said "no body is perfect, you wanted to leave, here's your check!" We tried telling her that this was supposed to be a special evening for us and they essentially ruined it, and they didn't give a damn. My husband paid (and left a tip - why? I don't know) and they just stood over our table until we left. I didn't even finish my glass of wine, which we paid $10 for... Absolute lack of class and customer service. Avoid.

Yelp
Very nice ambiance and the pizza is very good. Authentic pizza in a brick oven with the right crust. If you are not into pizza the raviolis were great. Cooked right with a light sauce and the right amount. Enjoyed very much

Yelp
I visited this restaurant last year while visiting from the states. I was very impressed by the decor. The owner was very involved ensuring the level of detail was executed to his expectations. Every course we ordered was fresh and delicious, the wine selection is vast and impressive. We enjoyed dinning here so much that we revisted this year. Again we were thourouly impressed. The owner is charming friendly very passionate about his commitment to excellence through detail. I grew up in the restaurant business, and consided myself a foodie, I appreciate ajd understand culture, the commitment to using simple and best ingredients. I've eaten pizza and dined at alot of places, I NYC and Boston, Miami etc... this place hits the marks on all levels of ecellance to me, so much so tbat I took the time to write a review for the first time.
