Bottle Club Pub dazzles with its towering rotating liquor shelves, retro kitsch, and creative cocktails alongside crispy pub fare in a chill, spacious vibe.
"There are boujee cocktail bars in the Tenderloin, despite any well-intentioned Karens saying otherwise. In fact, there are bars in the Tenderloin that are straight up gorgeous, such as the case with Bottle Club Pub. Fish and chips are on the menu alongside the powerhouse drinks which range from “reviving and refreshing” to “bold will hold.”" - Paolo Bicchieri
"Bottle Club Pub is in that squishy area that’s maybe Union Square and maybe Tenderloin, but makes it onto this list for many reasons. Bottle Club’s association with the Future Bars group is an indicator that visitors will get strong, well-crafted cocktails with a showstopper element — in this case, an enormous bottle and decanter collection situated on rotating shelves. Plus the pub has a small but mighty food menu featuring fish and chips, a smash burger, and fried chicken. It’s also kid-friendly during the day if you have little ones in tow." - Dianne de Guzman, Paolo Bicchieri
"We like going to Bottle Club Pub—the retro-themed bar near Union Square—to admire the huge collection of vintage ceramic whiskey decanters, and watch the mechanical shelves stocked with shiny bottles of alcohol slowly move from floor to ceiling. The displays are mesmerizing, and best experienced alongside creamy dessert cocktails, shaken and stirred drinks, whiskey from their obscenely long list—and maybe some fries from the short food menu. Even better is that you can stroll into this place with whatever you decided to wear that day. So expect to trade life stories with suited types, adult backpack crews, and tourists who didn’t get the memo on dressing for Bay Area weather." - Lani Conway
"Bottle Club Pub, the latest watering hole from the Future Bars team, brings big Mad Men energy to the Union Square neighborhood. Located at 555 Geary Street, it draws inspiration from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. The bar centers around vintage ceramic whiskey decanters with a large collection on display via a 20-foot-tall shelf. The menu includes 12 cocktails and a small food menu designed by consulting chef Matt Lowe. The bar features vaulted ceilings and brick details, restored to some of its original 20th-century glory, with modern Art Deco touches." - Lauren Saria
