Boucherie Fromagerie du Mont Blanc - Chamonix Mont-Blanc

The roast chicken is a must-try when you are in Chamonix. It is so good and so popular that you have to make reservation a day in advance. But it is definitely worth it !!!

I haven’t had meat like this in ages. So tender and flavourful! The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate; you can tell they truly take pride in what they do. Their eggs are to die for. I went on a massive shopping haul here before going back home, so worth it!

We had a simple rotisserie checken and it was wonderful. Very helpful staff.

I don’t know what it is exactly, but probably it’s feed and treatment, but I got an entrecôte (ribeye) and it was some of the best beef I’ve ever had. The fat was tinged slightly yellow and was buttery tasty. I’d like to imagine pristine alpine meadow grass went into it. I would love to know the breed and feed.

Wonderful butchers. Everything we have had from here has been great. And the yoghurts they sell are fabulous too.

Walking in the Boucherie is like travelling in time, to an era when caring for customers and their needs was paramount. I have been a pro customer of the shop for a few years and the level of care and customer service is excellent. Chamoniarde through and though.

So happy to have found this shop, truly the best in the valley. Strongly recommend; friendly , nothing too much trouble and highest quality products.
