I gave it 2 stars because there is plenty of parking and service was good. This was our first and last time eating here. All of our dishes lacked seasoning. The shrimp Alfredo was so salty, I had to send it back. The gumbo and blackened red snapper didn’t have any flavor. The fried pickles tasted like very old pickles. The batter was absolutely horrible. The alcoholic beverages tasted like pure juice. The duck was fried really hard in old grease. Their salads need to be served in bowls. Our waiter was really nice and food came out fast.

Our first time and it was amazing! The onion rings were so good. Also our waitress gabby was the best server we’ve ever had. She was the best! We will be back again

Years ago, I often stopped in here for lunch when school let out early. Haven't been back since the late 90s. Was pleasantly surprised to see the place was open and remodeled. The food was the best we had all weekend! Prices were good, service was great! Wish I'd had room for the bread pudding! Will absolutely be back next time I'm in town!!!

04/01/24 Glad we came across this lil gem. Cute decore. Excellent service and the food was very good. The crayfish pie was very flavorful. So wasn't the jambalaya. Ice tea was sweet and fresh. If I had to give a critique. It would be the French fries need to be crispy. Ours were soft. It's a busy spot for a good reason.

If you like Cajun cooking, this is a place for you! Their drinks are delicious! They have specials that are great. I got a half pound of royal Rex's shrimp, a half pound of gulf shrimp, two potatoes and a piece of corn for $17.99 and they were awesome!! The gumbo was wonderful! Everyone said their food was delish. 2 thumbs up! Eat, drink and be awesome.

You must try this place when in Houma! From the decor to the food, this is one of those restaurants that let you know you is in cajun country. It's even across da bayou, Cher! So we had their charbroiled oysters, which were perfect. I had the Catfish Louisiana fried and let me tell you, it's was plate licking good! My wife had the big house salad with grilled jumbo shrimp and I tried to steal me one of those delicious shrimp, but she wasn't having any of it. She did let me try one though, and it was so good!

First time in the area and found this spot for dinner. We ordered boudin balls for an appetizer and two cocktails -they have a limited selection of liquor but we enjoyed the drinks. The boudin balls came out fairly quickly but were frozen in the middle. The server took them and brought a fresh order that was cooked thoroughly. They were pretty tasty. My husband and I shared the fried captains platter (I think that’s what it was called) shrimp, oysters, catfish, and stuffed crab. It was nothing extraordinary-no memorable seasoning just basic fried seafood but it was good. He enjoyed the gumbo and the house salad was fresh with ample toppings. The service was quick and friendly and prices were reasonable.
