The Best Places to Eat at the Jean-Talon Market | Eater Montreal

"Most of the items on Bouffe-Moi’s small, playful vegetarian menu are served on a stick — including the mozzarella sticks (served with homemade marinara sauce) and the deep-fried poutine — which makes them perfect for satisfying your cravings without interrupting your market wandering. The brainchild of two sisters (both newcomers to the Montreal food scene), Bouffe-Moi uses ingredients sourced from the surrounding market, making for a hyper-local snacking experience." - Mallory Frayn

The corn dog batter was thick, wasn’t a big fan but the food was good. Customer service was great! Would definitely visit again with peers

I would highly recommend the club sandwich: A double decker consisting of airy bread, excellent mayo, and good quality chicken and veggies, with a little side of a pickled cucumber and cabbage. Very kind service as well and good value for money!

I ordered one fries, I got 2! 😅 I struggled a bit to finish them. A bit soft, I prefer my fries crispier. Now that I realize, they’re vegan, gotta try their corn dogs next time.

Tasty pogos - the spicy mayo, classic and maple mustard (pictured separately) were all awesome! We also got to hang on the patio with a “hot dog”. Great staff, quick service, fair prices. Best of all, everything is vegan!

This place makes to most amazing, huge vegan pogo's that you will have ever laid your eyes on! We got the classic ketchup and mustard and they were so big we had a hard time lifting them up! They are not cheap with the toppings and the lemonade with maple syrup is a must. The service is so nice and friendly it just adds to the great experience. This is one of our must go to" places when we are in Montreal. Thank you for your awesomeness!

I'm not really vegan, but I recently tried this place with my wife and the food was delicious! If no one told me that the pogos were 100% vegan, I would have never guessed. Make sure to try their chips with the onion dipping sauce, they're super addictive!

First time trying corndogs! Good was nice and freshly made. As its my first time trying I cantcompare it well but it was good. I got the classic corndogs with mustard and ketchup but the maple option sounded good so might give it a go next time. Is a nice vegan option to have in the market☺️❤️
