I had lunch here today, and the food was absolutely delicious. What a hidden treasure—you wouldn't even know it was there. The service was great, the atmosphere was really nice, and everything is laid out well. It's a great spot for a nice lunch or dinner. I will definitely be back!

This place has always had an amazing space and top of the line service. The food was always good but recently they've gone up another level. The brunch Benedict and quiche were the best brunch I've had in the US for years. Mediterranean chicken pita is excellent for lunch too. Haven't had many of the cocktails yet but they lived up. We're lucky to have a place of this caliber in our neighborhood.

Hands down the best happy hour I have been to in San Diego. The food prices were affordable and presented beautifully. The service was golden. The wait staff was all courteous and friendly. Some places can be a bit stingy when it comes to ordering drinks during happy hour, but not here! The wait stuff occasionally came to ask if we need more drinks instead of making us wait until we finish our drinks. The parking space was plentiful. That is a huge huge plus. Mosdef will be back again

We ate here a couple weeks ago for an anniversary dinner. The place seems upscale and it has plenty of parking. The outdoor tables are nicely covered to protect from sun. The atmosphere and food presentation was wonderful. As far as tastes - we liked the food but nothing stood out as something I would come running back for. We also had a bit of an issue with a menu item being switched without telling us. The restaurant is pretty new and probably still getting everything going so perhaps I will give them another try. Here’s what we got: Octopus shared plate - it came out good. Very nicely cooked. Soft and not overdone. The sauce basically tastes like marinara. I wish they had the pistachio one that I saw online on their website and all over their reviews because it looked a more unique and very popular. It was actually the reason we chose this place for dinner tonight. Chicken wings - these were okay, a little dry, again not too unique. Loved the yogurt ranch that came with it though. It tasted better than ranch based dips in my opinion Burger - good, tastes like short rib but doesnt feel like short rib texture in your mouth Eggplant - tasted very healthy. It was definitely reminiscent of ratatouille. It was well balanced and I did like the nice crispy bits on top. Affogato - good but unfortunately it was supposed to be a hazelnut chocolate gelato with cocoa powder and some sort of custard but when they brought it, it was just vanilla and espresso. It was a very good vanilla but they didnt tell us that it was switched from the menu item until we asked about it. We had actually asked about this dessert or the dark chocolate ganache and they said they were out of the ganache so I found it a little strange to be out of half the desserts AND as well to switch an order without telling us. They did take it off the check after we asked about it.

We came here for Happy Hour and the food was delicious. I really like the wood fired pizzas, especially the spicy pepperoni. The chicken wings and deviled eggs were also hits. The blood mary margarita was also good. We will have you come back with a larger group and order more food off the regular menu. Service was also great. We were checked on often. We sat outside and we were a bit chilly after the sun went down. They didn't have enough heaters.

Beautiful location, great food and excellent service! Had the spicy sandwich recommended by our server and it was a nice-sized portion and great tasting. Look forward to coming again to BoujeMana.

10/10! This was my first time here for dinner for date night and everything was fabulous. Our server Matt really took the time to explain certain items on the menu- you could tell he takes pride in being a server here. Vibes, service, food were immaculate. I had the Lamb Pappardelle, husband has the hanger steak. Highly recommend the tea service! Dessert was outrageously good. I first came here for a lunch meeting and had the hummus, pita, pepperoni pizza, and I think the grilled chicken. Patio is definitely the way to go for a family or a kid friendly night. They have great heaters on the patio too.

This place is nested between residential luxury apartments and business area with plenty of parking. We had a party of 10 and reserved the private room for brunch. They allowed split checks up to 3 credit cards. The interior was modern, sleek, industrial bronzed color. The restroom is designed to be unisex with shared sinks. The individual stalls had Toto heated bidets! I got the roasted octopus ($21) and crispy jidori wings ($16). The octopus was grilled to perfection. Not chewy or rubbery. The pistachio salsa verde sauce was unique with a crunch. The butter beans were made into a hummus purée sauce. The plate of dry rub wings came with 7 pieces over lebneh ranch. I got the butterfly effect ($16) as my cocktail which had pea flower infused elderberry, lemon juice, mint and Prosecco. It was absolutely a beautiful tasty drink. The service was wonderful. They took your plate to the back to pack your left overs for you.

Yelp
Boujiemana, a modern Mediterranean restaurant tucked away in an unexpected Serra Mesa office park, is proving that a truly wonderful dining experience is worth seeking out. The name itself, a clever blend of "bougie" (luxury) and "mana" (sharing), perfectly encapsulates the restaurant's ethos: a sophisticated, artistic setting paired with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This unique approach has earned them significant accolades, including a spot on Yelp's Top 10 Best New Restaurants in the U.S. The Food: A Culinary Journey from the Mediterranean to San Diego The menu at Boujiemana is a delightful fusion of traditional Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors with a contemporary California twist. The chefs demonstrate a clear passion for fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. * Appetizers: Standouts include the Smoked Deviled Eggs, which are elevated with crispy bacon, pickled jalapeño, and a chili-oil chimichurri. The Roasted Octopus, praised for its tender texture and accompanying creamy butter beans, is another crowd-pleaser. * Main Courses: The dry-aged Ribeye and Neapolitan-style pizzas are popular choices, while the Kousa, a dish of zucchini stuffed with lamb, harissa, and pine nuts, has been highlighted for its rich and delicious flavors. * Pizzas: The wood-fired pizzas are a testament to quality, with options like the classic Margherita and the more adventurous Ezzo Pepperoni Pizza with a sesame seed crust. * Drinks: The cocktail program is as creative as the food, featuring unique concoctions like the Blood Orange Margarita and the Vanilla Chai Mule. The Atmosphere and Service: Approaching Luxury with Heart The restaurant's interior is a feast for the eyes, with elegant Italian porcelain floors, gold-accented chandeliers, and handcrafted live-edge teak tables. This upscale ambiance is balanced by a sense of genuine hospitality, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion or a casual gathering. The service is often noted as attentive and friendly, with staff going out of their way to ensure a great experience. The restaurant's core strengths--its delicious and creative food, inviting atmosphere, and commitment to community--are consistently praised. The somewhat hidden location is often viewed as part of its charm, offering a sense of discovery for those who find this San Diego gem.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! Went here for dinner with friends and had a great time. Decor- upscale and cozy. The scented hand wipes at the table are lovely. The bathroom with the heated toilet seats and floss are an extra nice touch. Food- delicious! Everything we got was amazing. The corn soup is definitely a must. It is a season item and we had just missed the asparagus soup. Honestly, I am glad because I dont think the asparagus soup could top the corn. Definitely order it! Roasted octopus, yes! Fausto pizza, delicious! Kousa, even those who dont like zucchini will love this. Hanger steak, cooked perfectly. This is a place I will definitely go back to. The quality of food for the price can't be beat. It is definitely a steal. Best part, they pick a local charity to donate 3% to. What a wonderful idea! On the menu it talks about the charity. This month they are donating to shelter to soldier and the animal pad.

Yelp
Plenty of parking and a decent sized restaurant. We came on a busy day so the service wasn't the best- I guess they usually don't have that many people for Tuesday nights. Came here specifically for the roasted duck and was not disappointed!! Out of all the dishes we ordered, my friends and I liked the duck the most. The skin was crispy and the meat was flavorful. It wasn't dry or too salty either. The pizza was okay, I would prefer if it was crispier. The hummus was good, you can't go wrong with that. And the octopus was also okay! I was comparing it to Cesarina's octopus and liked Cesarina's more as it was sweeter in flavor profiles, while this one was more tart with the tomatoes. I would totally come back for the roasted duck and to try the other dishes on the menu.

Yelp
Have you tried this place yet? If not, you owe it to yourself! "Comfort Mediterranean" with a side of classy. The employees are really great and reflects the management employee first style. Everyone seems to really enjoy working here and you can taste it in the food.

Yelp
BoujieMana is one of those rare gems where hospitality, care, and culinary creativity come together to create a truly unforgettable experience. As someone with numerous accessibility needs and food allergies, dining out is usually an incredibly stressful and often impossible task. But BoujieMana consistently goes above and beyond to make me feel safe, seen, and welcomed. From the moment I arrive, every team member--from the deeply compassionate General Manager Rafael, to the warm and thoughtful host Ruby, the innovative and flavor-master Chef Dante, and our attentive server TJ and and busser Luke--makes it clear that the customer's experience is their top priority. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care are rare and incredibly appreciated. The outdoor seating area is one of my favorite parts. It's thoughtfully designed with both comfort and health safety in mind--offering openness, shade from an awning, an umbrella for flexibility, and even a heater in case it gets chilly. The decor is beautiful, and having the park nearby only adds to the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Plus, there's plenty of parking, which makes getting there stress-free. The food? Absolutely outstanding. I enjoyed a custom pizza with perfectly charred vegetables, a richly flavored and balanced tomato sauce, beautifully seasoned ground beef, and warm, pillowy, flavorful dough. My friend raved about the hot wings--crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside, seasoned and sauced to perfection. She also had a custom side salad that she loved so much, she took half home to enjoy the next morning. Thank you, BoujieMana, for creating a space where people like me can feel truly included and cared for--without ever compromising on my safety, flavor, creativity, or joy. You've made a regular out of me.

Yelp
Well, it started out iffy, but ended with it being an awesome dinner. We took a moment to decide what we wanted to drink, so it took forever for us to get our drinks ordered. It also took forever to get them. Before we received said drinks, our server came and took our appetizer order. Well, needless to say, we received our first app, before we got any drinks on the table. I don't know about you, but I like to enjoy a few sips of my drink before I start my apps. It being my bday dinner, I told the server to please take back the app, so that we could get our drinks first. It seemed that he was a bit taken back, but obliged. But from then on, service improved quite a bit. I did apologize for sending the apps back and they totally understood my viewpoint. The restaurant looks very industrial, but with soft touches. They have scented cloths at the table for your hands and the bathrooms are top notch. (Heated seats, I think bidets, very fancy toilets). They also have gardens around the complex with fruit/vegetables they use for your meals. What a great thing! Happy hour pricing is awesome and normal pricing is great compared to the norm around San Diego. All the food we ordered tasted amazing, was absolutely fresh and we enjoyed every bite. I def recommend the deviled eggs! I will be trying this place again, maybe for brunch next time!

Yelp
Wonderfully delicious! A beautifully decorated urban cafe with artisan creations for every taste. Lunch prices are reasonable compared to the dinner menu. The staff is very helpful in making recommendations and know the menu well. Entrees are fresh and homemade. Pet friendly. @sturdygirlstyle #sturdygirlstyle

Yelp
They have a huge parking lot available but it did get full towards dinner time. This restaurant lived up to its name with their beautiful interior designs as well as their outdoor patio seating area. The outdoor and indoor area is opened by a huge sliding glass door so even if you sit outside, you won't feel separated from the rest of the restaurant. They had a lot of large tables available as well as standing tables in the back area so it would be perfect for a group or get together location. Their happy hour menu was really good with good portions. Their wings and fries were amazingly crispy but not too oily, and the hummus with pita bread came with a lot of olives. Now the sauce that came under the wings was amazing. I just want a tub of it. It is labneh ranch and we ended up dipping the fries in it as well. I would definitely come back just for their happy hour menu. Their drinks were perfect for those who like sweet cocktails. Although the happy hour drinks were limited to a couple of options but both the blood orange and chai mule were tasty. The butterfly effect was not part of the happy hour but definitely a recommended drink. Although it was sweet and you couldn't taste the alcohol, you will be able to feel it afterwards. The main menu items were a bit on the pricy side but they do come in big portions and had no major complaints on any of their dishes. The grilled hanger does come precut but it was so soft it didn't need a steak knife. The only downside on the hanger steak was the mashed potatoes. They tasted like it came from a box; powdery texture and not smooth. The flavor was fine but didn't seem to be fresh. The service was quick and our server was friendly. They have a pretty large team of staff working the floors. It is a pretty relaxed restaurant good for friends and family gathering.

Yelp
Nice restaurant, good location and easy parking. Was with a group of friends having brunch. I ordered the smoked salmon and pita. It was delicious and I was happy that it was decent quality lox. It was served with half of a smoked deviled egg. That was a nice addition to the plate. The restaurant was not busy at all. Our server was pleasant while at our table, but at times we had empty coffee cups and the servers were huddled together talking to each other. We shouldn't have had to wave them down for coffee refills. We had pepperoni pizza (crust seemed too dark on top, but it was tasty), harissa Benedict, caramelized French toast and breakfast sandwich. Everyone seemed happy with their food.

Yelp
I tried out Happy Hour with a friend. I had the house white (their Chardonnay) and my friend had a cocktail. We shared the pepperoni pizza, pita/hummus, and chicken wings. It was more than enough food. Service was great. It's modern and classy inside. My only critique is that the pepperoni on the pizza was very salty. I would order the pizza again if it didn't have pepperoni. The crust was very good. I want to come back for brunch or dinner with my boyfriend.

Yelp
The details matter. Starting with a scented cloth to clean your hands, dental floss in the restroom and heated toilet seats. I met a friend for HH and we sat at the bar. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, answering any menu questions. Deviled eggs were pretty good - nice smoky flavor. Pita and hummus- homemade pita, warm and fluffy It's tucked in a cul de sac at the end of Aero Dr, plenty of parking. I'll definitely come back.

Yelp
I feel I need to come back to give it another chance, but not going to be any time soon. We came in for Easter brunch and it didn't live up to the expectations. I've heard nothing but great things about this spot but maybe it was just an off day? When we were about to order the waitress told us some things were no longer available? huh? ok. luckily what we wanted for appetizers were. We really liked the deviled eggs, and I liked the wings and we loved the dessert donuts and their gelato. But sadly that was about it. Main dishes didn't hit like we hoped. Pizza came out very very burnt, duck benedict (i believe that's what is was called) apparently was over cooked. and the potatoes that came with the eggs were not very tasty. Everyone at the table tried them. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She again told us that some desserts may be not available? I really wish we were told that ahead of our brunch. Like I said, maybe an off day? But, unfortunately too many issues to maybe try again.

Yelp
My friends and I hosted an early Easter brunch and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant! Honestly, this was one of the few times where EVERYONE loved their food! I opted for something light and absolutely loved the hummus and freshly made pita bread. It was truly THE BEST pita bread! It was made fresh and was piping hot when delivered to the table. When I tire off a piece, the top and bottom separated and there was a large air pocket. The bread was so delicate and was incredibly delicious! I loved the hummus too! I had one of the chicken wings and enjoyed its flavor and crunch! The other dishes that my friends ordered looked amazing and I look forward to coming back to try other menu items. One of my friends order the shashuka and loved it so much that she polished off the pan! If you're looking for a healthy drink, I highly recommend the Green Garden fresh pressed juice. It was very refreshing! The restaurant was beautiful, excellent service, and incredibly delicious food! Also, there is a large private parking lot. This is the perfect venue for large parties and special occasions.

Yelp
Be sure to make a reservation prior to going. The staff seemed displeased when we went without a reservation (if their facial expression change and chatter didn't give it away). The speed of service seemed to also match as tables that came after were waited on relatively faster. This place on a side street off of Aero Drive. The pin on Yelp's map is accurate. They have their own parking lot. The interior decor is pretty and it really gives off a mid fancy dining atmosphere. They even provide individually packaged hand towels to wipe clean with. Boujie cheeseburger lives up to the name. The fries that came with the burger were a tad over salted. The Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich actually had a good kick but tasted almost healthy. The side salad seemed like it had bits of onion that had been tossed in salt which was unique. Beet-Dill Juice was refreshing and Cooper Colada was okay.

Yelp
This is one of those places you always look forward to the meal. Because you know it's going to be fabulous and service is always spot on. This visit I ordered the hanger steak and daughter ordered the pepperoni pizza. We sampled each other's dish. And I'm glad we did because I really liked her pizza and she really liked my steak. They offer inside or outside seating. We sat inside. Until we meet again.

Yelp
What a hidden gem me and my friend found. We wanted salad and ate much more! Our server was Jesus and he was so kind, patient and helpful. We ordered the watermelon and Cesar salad, the fennel pizza, and lemon ricotta. For drinks we did the espresso martini and butterfly effect. Everything was so wonderful and delicious. This place is located by residential and attached to business building so it's a little hidden however the decor is beautiful and boujie! Definitely will be back. Thank you Jesus for a wonderful experience

Yelp
It was good, but not outstanding. It was a 3 to 4 star rating. We ordered blood orange margaritas which were lacking in flavor and was a bit watered down. For appetizers, we had the hummus with pita and delicata squash fritto which were both recommended by our server. The hummus and pita were excellent. The dip was creamy and the pita bread was pillowy soft. Unfortunately, the squash was bad. These were like onion rings, but with squash. They were greasy. It was equivalent to drinking oil. For my entree, I had the anson mills polenta which was a vegetarian dish with mushrooms, greens, and a poached egg. This was delicious comfort food. We didn't have dessert because our server didn't offer it to us. We were already full so we didn't bother asking. Our server was pleasant and friendly. We didn't wait long for food and the restaurant was very busy on a Friday night. We were able to get a reservation for two an hour before we arrived. The restaurant is modern and spacious with lots of parking. Despite a less than stellar rating, I would come back to try a few more items on their menu.

Yelp
Very large parking lot. Recommend reservations because they seem to look down on those without them. The hostess made a comment about us 'just' being walk-ins to our waiter. You may also want to dress up as well as it is a fancier restaurant. They have inside and some outside seating. Lots of dogs both inside and out so they seem to be pet friendly. After being seated it took quite a bit for our server to arrive. Luckily the other staff were able to get us situated with waters. Another couple who sat next to us after our order was taken had a waiter taking their order within minutes of being seated. We saw this was the case for multiple other parties seated after us as well. Maybe reservations equals better service? Ordered: Beet dill juice cocktail $16 - this was okay Cooper's colada $16 - had a unique flavor, strong. Cheeseburger $25 - the fries were overcooked and over salted. Burger was okay on flavor but not really worth the price. Spicy chicken $19 - the salad was very salty. The toasted sesame on the burger was very messy and stuck to your fingers when holding. Chicken had a nice heat. This was probably the better of the items.

Yelp
I always go during happy hour because their prices are great and their food is excellent. The Hummus with homemade pita is top notch. Pita comes out super hot. It's soft and tender. The Hummus is flavorful and smooth. It also comes with olives and pickles which is a nice touch of acidity. A good balance on one plate. My favorite are the smoked deviled eggs. It's a well thought out mash of flavors that works. The smokey bacon, the pickled jalepeno works together with a little punch of zesty vinegar from the pickledness. Its complex but works well. Trust me. Get it. Service is great. Very attentive but they don't hover. It's a classy, modern, moody place that looks upscale but has a casual vibe. The toilets have the fancy Japanese toilet seats with heat, bidet and booty dryer. My go to place to meet my friends for our Whine & Wine gatherings! Come check it out! You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This fine dining restaurant with table service is a hidden gem at the end of a street. The interior is spacious, high ceilings, with warm tones and comfortable seating. The wait staff was friendly. The restaurant is well decorated and has a refined, full bar. We tried their Saturday happy hour from 10-5 pm. They have pizzas, appetizers, and nice selection of HH drinks. The burger was hearty and satisfying. Their salads were tossed perfectly and very fresh.

Yelp
This place is a real hidden gem! Really beautiful aesthetic and absolutely phenomenal food as well ! Service was also really nice and the server kept checking on us . We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening and it was actually really full so that's a very good sign for sure. Husband got Oaxacan Spritz cocktail and here said it was really nice. Market Lettuce Salad (with roasted delicata squash, pickled blueberries, field greens, mint, hazelnut dukkh) I ordered the salad with grilled chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The roasted delicata squash and the pickled blueberries went so well together. The mint was a nice special touch as well. It comes with some of vinaigrette but I didn't use of it cuz I just didn't feel the need. And also wanted to save on some calories. The only the only thing I would change is having grilled chicken breast instead of chicken thigh. They give chicken thigh on this and it felt like it was quite fatty and greasy and just added unnecessary calories. Probably something to request specifically. Delicata Squash Fritto (with mint, dill, pecorino sardo, hot honey, black pepper) This is battered and fried delicata squash. Everyone on the table really enjoyed this one. I tried a little bit and the crunchiness and sweetness and savoriness together was quite nice. I was hoping the hot honey flavor would come out a little more but this was nice either way. Ezzo Pepperoni Pizza (tomato, garlic, chili, cilantro, chive, mozzarella, sesame seed crust) I can totally see why this was such a hyped item. Everyone on the table was really excited about this one, especially because of that sesame seed crust. Quite a good creative Pizza here. Crust was nice and fresh and soft and overall the pizza was really nice. Everyone enjoyed. Herb Roasted Jidori Chicken (with toasted levain, frisée, mustard jus) Honestly, the chicken here itself was phenomenal! Such lovely soft meat and the seasoning was also really nice. It didn't seem to oily or greasy either which was a good sign. I think the oil was mostly involved in the mustard jus. What we really didn't like about this was the frisée on the bottom. The greens were relatively bitter and a little hard and just didn't go well with the chicken. Maybe just some plain mixed greens would have been better. We ended up leaving ksot of those frisée greens as is. Anson Mills Polenta (with wild mushrooms, manchego, soft egg, braised escarole) It really looks creamy and presentation on this was top notch. I didn't try any but the table said it was really lovely. Everything was finished so that's a good sign. Cinnamon Crunch Donuts - WOW!! We were actually quite hesitant to order donuts at a restaurant for dessert, but oh man this was beautiful! Such soft and fluffy Donuts and the best part is they were actually warm! So just pictures soft and doughy and pillowy and WARM Donuts with a cinnamon sugar coating and slightly sweet vanilla sauce to go on the side. 10 on 10 recommend!

Yelp
Place seemed kind of hidden off of Aero. They had seating inside and out. Place looked nice. Service was good. Food came out quick. Timing was good with the appetizers then the entree. Got the chicken wings, deviled eggs, and the BoujieMana cheeseburger. Liked the deviled eggs. You can really taste the smoked flavor. The wings were interesting. I wish that they had a little more flavor. The cheeseburger hit the spot. Liked the garlic aioli on the side. Tasted good with the fries. The citrus sunrise was refreshing.

Yelp
Beautiful place, plenty of parking, wonderful staff. The mushroom pizza lacked kick, the wings were fantastic and the hummus and pita were so very fresh. This place needs a visit.

Yelp
Food was great! Was hoping for more middle eastern food influences but didn't see a lot. The steak with chimichurri didn't have a ton of flavor, but the mashed potatoes and onion rings were delicious. Pita was great along with the creamy hummus. Also really enjoyed the sesame crust pizza. Like that all everything are made in house.

Yelp
We came here for lunch because we received a gift card and it was amazing! It was beautiful and had great service! We loved the octopus apparently they had just changed the ingredients for the season and it was a hit! Also split the pita and a side of fries. Will definitely return for dinner service in the future!

Yelp
Tried this new restaurant out and holy moly amazing. For an appetizer I had the hummus and pita, the pita was perfectly warm and soft. My entree was grilled hanger steak with mash potatoes and onion rings. The steak was delicioso. I hate onion rings but let me tell you I tried these to give them a chance and I'm a believer. It was the perfect crunch and it was savory. Also ordered some black tea and it came with the works as you can tell from the picture. It was so good and paired well with my meal. To close it off with dessert, I went with boujie donuts. That chipotle is so subtle but as you keep eating the donut with some drizzled crème anglaise it is so delectable. There is plenty of parking and inside it is very spacious. The seats are so comfortable and they spin too. Restrooms are unisex so don't be alarmed. The service was top notch and the staff were astounding. Make a reservation and go try them out, highly recommend!

Yelp
I just love this restaurant too much and I decided to celebrate my first birthday with my newborn at here. And we pre ordered something special for that day! A roasted whole duck! It is unique and delicious, very different than Chinese Peking Duck, it is kinda lean and more smoky. The whole concept and combination with the sauce, fruit and veggies are very nice designed. I can tell the chef put a lot of effort into it. We also ordered some side dishes - fries, deviled eggs and hummus. I know I like those since we came here so many times. Since it's my birthday, they gifted me a pistachio gelato and I have to say it is probably one of the best gelato I've ever had, super intense and flavorful! They also gifted me a wine opener, so sweet. Other than the gelato, we ordered a donuts for dessert, omg! It is very unexpected, I never love donuts this much, it's cinnamon sugar and the dipping sauce is amazing. We just love this restaurant, it's like a fine dining place with a very reasonable price.

Yelp
Went during brunch on a Sunday and it was super good! We ordered a bunch of appetizers so I was pretty full by the time my entree came. Recommend ordering ANYTHING with pita, the pita was probably the simplest thing on the menu but it was my favorite. The appetizer wings were so good and crispy. The only appetizer I didn't like was the chicken liver mousse, this is a personal preference though I don't like chicken liver in general so don't let this influence you if you want to give it a go. I ordered the Shakshuka and it was super yummy. I personally wished it was a little more salty and that the seasonings were more prominent, but overall still super delicious. I got their tea service, served in a very nice tea pot with a small fire under your tea pot so it stays hot during your entire meal! Parking is super easy and it actually wasn't too crowded on a Saturday during brunch. The restaurant is extremely clean and the bathrooms are very nice. The area is a little different since it's on the edge of the business district of Kearny Mesa, but would rather have plenty of parking in an area like this versus in a crowded area like North Park, for example.

Yelp
BoujieMana has a big parking lot with lots of free parking.  This is a cool bonus as it's near Convoy St.  I took a look at the lunch menu and the appetizers is what interested me. Pita bread was made to order and I loved the soft and fluffy texture.  That fresh out of the oven flavor was amazing.  BoujieMana's pita bread is among the best I've ever had.  I ordered it plain and it was only $2. Crispy jidori chicken wings had crispy skin with tender and juicy skin.  I enjoyed the lemon and herb flavors. 2nd visit I ordered the roast duck.  It is cold roasted with cherry wood.  Chef Dante presented it before he took it back to the kitchen to cut it up.  Amazing smoky aroma stayed with us.   Skin was crispy.  Meat was tender and had a delicious smoky flavor.  This is one of my favorite duck preparations.  I was also impressed by the sharp knife given to cut the duck.  I like using Wustof knives to cut my meat and the knife here was comparable.. Vanilla gelato was sourced from Milkissimo Gelato.  It was served in a chilled bowl which I appreciated as I hate melted gelato.  At home I keep my ice cream bowl in the freezer.  Texture was rich and creamy.  I loved the vanilla flavor. Our server Thomas was very knowledgeable about the food here plus he was friendly and attentive.  The attention to detail here was excellent from the sharp knife to the chilled ice cream bowl.  I'll have to visit for dinner again as there are alot more choices than at lunch.

Yelp
If anything, come here to get a drink and use the toilet. The toilet has a seat warmer, air dryer, and bidet nozzle you can move up and down. The doors have no cracks either. Literally the best bathroom I've been in. Food is good and service is even better. For the quality of food, the prices are very good. The jidori chicken was amazing. The pizza was good, not that special when compared to other pizza places. Service is on another level. You would think it's fine dining with the level of care they put in

Yelp
Everything was amazing from food to service and ambience. The dishes are made with care, fresh quality ingredients, and traditional mixed with unique flare. It was our first time here and will definitely be back.

Yelp
The customer service here was pretty good. I loved that the server made no excuses about the food taking a while because he forgot to submit the main entrees but we didn't mind as we had a good time with the wine and appetizers. The burger was pretty good. The fries and the garlic aioli was perfect. The pizza was very good and the crust perfect. The tabouleh was good but I think if it was served with crackers or toasted bread would have been better. The ambience is great and nice location.

Yelp
I generally find that much-hyped restaurants are not actually worth the hype. In the case of BoujieMana, I am glad to report that is not the case. As one of SD's newer upscale spots, it is a surprisingly inviting and stylish at the same time. The location is in a slightly unlikely spot nestled between a school, apartment blocks and housed in the ground floor of unprepossessing office building. The interior emphasizes clean, sharp lines and during brunch hours, bluish light adds to the visual clarity of the dining area. There is also a pleasant outside dining area on its west side. And in almost all regards, BM is a go. Wonderful sweet and savory offerings, an inventive menu, and stellar service. The Mediterranean offerings are especially estimable. The octopus, tabbouleh and shakshuka are all personal faves. For those with a bit more of a sweet tooth/breakfast orientation, the lemon ricotta pancakes are both light and filling. I've yet to try their dinner menu or their alcoholic potables, but I look forward to testing them soon. My one very small complaint would be in their espresso offerings. There, the coffees are not quite up to snuff. As a place that prides itself on inventive brunch offerings, a real barista ought to be in the mix. Other than that, by all means enjoy a meal at what can only be described as a fairly unique spot. Recommended.

Yelp

Yelp
This restaurant is located in part of an office building but truly is a find! We came in for brunch/lunch on a Sunday afternoon to football on the tv behind the bar and a pretty quiet restaurant. All the decor was beautiful from the lighting to the tables and chairs. We ordered the shakshuka and spicy chicken sandwich. The food did take a little while to come out but boy was it delicious! And piping hot when it came to the table! The shakshuka might be my favorite that I've had with chunks of lamb sausage and satisfying crunches of cabbage. And the pita was absolutely perfect: warm, puffy and with just the right amount of chew. The chicken sandwich was juicy and well balanced with the slaw, though not particularly spicy but the winner on that plate were the fries. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect texture. I'll definitely be back for dinner!

Yelp
It's my first time trying a Mediterranean restaurant in Convoy since I usually go to Asian restaurants. The place is gorgeous inside and out, with plenty of parking. My friend invited me here, so I was really excited! The fresh fries, delicata squash fritto, Ezzo pepperoni, and winter chicory salad were delicious. The servers are so nice even though someone forgot to give me my drink. Definitely worth trying, such an amazing restaurant, and even the bar and bathroom are beautiful!

Yelp
Very nice, happy people, great service. Friendly and clean. Excellent bread! Great parking. But I did not like the food at all. Never going back.

Yelp
This spot has amazing quality food. I would highly recommend the pita sandwich and the octopus. The octopus is very tender and also the pita here is to die for. Service is amazing out here and they are very tentative. The ambiance here is very classy. You can tell that they put a lot of effort and dollars into building this spot.

Yelp
We enjoyed our meal at BoujieMana! The service was great and the staff was so friendly. We really enjoyed chatting with our server, Mina, such a sweet girl! We ordered several things to try from the clam toast to the squash fritto. I liked the polenta and the others enjoyed the pappardelle and the pork loin. I just wish that there was bread for the table. The decor and vibe of the restaurant is so fun! And the bathrooms are deff boujie!

Yelp
Why is this amazing restaurant such a secret? I found it by accident and its a fantastic accident. Where do I start? The environment here is beautiful, very relaxed (for lunch), and dog-friendly!!! I give credit to whoever designed this restaurant. It should be a part of some luxury resort. Instead, it is the "cafeteria" for a large company. Oh and the bathrooms have Toto toilets, just saying. Now let's discuss what we all love the most, THE FOOD. Yes, it is delicious. Everything is prepared with every detail in mind. The blending of the flavors, the textures, and the presentation is 5 stars. We loved everything we had on this initial journey to this hidden oasis. The traditional kibbeh it is a Middle Eastern-flavored steak tartare served with the softest pita. This was sublime. Then we had the Smoked Deviled Eggs, so much flavor packed into these globes of protein. They are ridiculously good. We recently were in Greece and were greatly disappointed in their octopus dishes (never happened before), now I know why. This chef has the BEST octopus. Delicate, so full of flavor, on a puree of white beans. It was a flavor journey. Now to one of my favorites, The Chicken Liver Pate, YUMMY. I am a sucker for anything spreadable on bread, but this was a real treat. It is so smooth and creamy, with just enough sweetness to make it excellent for lunch. We just stopped in to taste, but we are definitely going back again and again. We peeped at their dinner and brunch menus and had several items we have to try. Even better than the fact that they are dog friendly, this restaurant gives back 3% of its profits to a different charitable organization, EVERY MONTH. They tick all the boxes on a place I want to support.

Yelp
Tonight I got to enjoy some yummy drinks and food. I had the rose desert cocktail, the roasted octopus and split the charcuterie board. Both Reagan and Jenna were both attentive and sweet, and the food and drinks were amazingly delicious. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed everything we devoured. Everything was AMAZING. The setting could not have been anymore than perfect. It was chill, quiet and the right ambience we were going for for our catch up session. Even the hand towels were amazing, I was given more and took some home. If you're ever in the Kearny Mesa area and are looking for yummy cocktails or food, come here

Yelp
I came here for brunch with a friend as she recommended it would be a good spot to catch up. To be honest, I wasn't really feeling anything on the menu. It was kind of all over the place. I actually wanted pasta but they didn't have it available at that time so I'm bummed about that. We ended up sharing a green eggs and ham pizza and some chicken wings. The pizza taste was strange. I didn't really love it or hate it. It had a strong taste of broccolini. I feel like the flavors were clashing with each other. The chicken wings were ok. They're actually quite bland without the white hummus like sauce underneath them. I like the location of this place as it's secluded and overlooks a park and it certainly is "bougie" but nothing to write home about. Maybe the dinner offerings are better but definitely skip this place if you're coming for lunch.

Yelp
BoujieMana is a hidden gem. The decor is upscale. There are even bidets in the bathrooms. The food is excellent. We ordered the jidori chicken wings and the Lebnah Ranch is probably one of the best things I've ever tasted. We also enjoyed the smoked deviled eggs, a great two bite. The pita bread that comes with the hummus is sooo soft and pillowy. Their pizzas had a Mediterranean twist with sesame seeds on the crust. In terms of cocktails, the blood orange margarita is a steal on HH. Also tried the melody thyme but found it too herbaceous. The X@midnight was spirit forward but delicious. Minus 1/2 star as service could have been better. They weren't that busy but there seemed to be a lack of communication between the bar servers who were serving us. We plan to come back to try their duck!

Yelp
What a nice surprise in the Serra Mesa/Kearny Mesa area! When you walk in you are treated to a cool, modern but relaxed vibe. The tables are well spaced and the chairs are comfortable - they even swivel! You can sit on the patio, at the bar, or inside. A lavender scented hand and fingertip towelette is waiting for you at your table. It is a nice touch. We happened to go for lunch and they had a Restaurant Week menu as well as a regular lunch menu. The service was outstanding! I had another soda before I finished the first one. I ordered the smoked deviled eggs and the hamburger which were excellent. They substituted a side salad for me without an up charge. My husband had the tomato soup and the shrimp sandwich with chips, He said it was all very good. The bathroom seats are heated and include bidet functions. I want to come back for dinner to order the crispy duck and the octopus. Our server, Jason, told us to be sure to reserve the duck when you call for a reservation to make sure they don't run out. There is ample parking and across the lot there are hang out spaces with swinging chairs and other gathering spots. They overlook Cabrillo Heights Park where the Little League plays. BoujieMana is a cool place and the bonus is you don't have to go downtown or to Little Italy to enjoy.

Yelp
We had a fabulous birthday dinner for a party of 30. We dined in their outdoor patio with space to meet and greet. With our large party, we had set menu with array of delectable appetizers and entrees. Our favorite apps, were their amazing homemade pita, hummus, grilled octopus and their two pizzas. For our entree, we selected their squid ink pasta with clams, whole red snapper and the delicious stuffed eggplant. All cooked to perfection. We finished it off with their famous donuts creme anglaise. The service was very good for a large party. When we got home that night, they interviewed the chef on CBS8, The Menu. A toast to this new restaurant, worth a visit.

Yelp
I'll start by saying we came on a rainy Thursday night so seating was fairly open and not too busy -- but we loved it! $$$ is appropriate. My husband was weary of their menu initially due to limited options but everything, I mean everything we ordered was delicious and exceeded expectations! We had a fabulous date night here. The decor is trendy and new age, met the "boujie" expectations. The staff were fabulous, very accommodating and timely. I think our favorite were the squash fritto starter, ceaser salad and the donuts/chocolate gelato for dessert. The French Sauvignon blanc was *mauh*! While I was surprised to see a burger on the menu, even the burger had a flare and was outstanding in my opinion.
