This vibrant neighborhood spot serves up tasty burgers, sandwiches, and tacos alongside unique cocktails, all set against a lively outdoor atmosphere perfect for groups and pets alike.
"This spacious South Lamar bar screens all the sports, including Houston Texans games, and hosts regular tailgates for Longhorn games during the season. Expect drink specials and barbecue specials from the on-site truck CM Smokehouse. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Nadia Chaudhury, Brittany Britto Garley
"On the corner of South Lamar and Oltorf is Bouldin Acres, an enormous two-acre beer garden that’s basically an adult amusement park with pickleball courts, corn hole, and loads of TV screens. There’s a shop inside in case you forgot your athletic attire, and pickleball courts can be reserved one week in advance (we’d recommend booking early for weekend slots). If you get hungry while you’re here, Bouldin Acres is also home to CM Smokehouse, a trailer where you can get dishes like brisket crunchwraps, smoked buffalo turkey sandwiches, and some of our favorite wings in town. "Reserve your court up to a week in advance at the Zilker bar, because it books up quickly. Rates are $10 or $20 per half-hour depending on the day and time. Rental paddles are also available. The drink menu ranges from draft beer to specialty cocktails, including three rotating frozen beverages, while food is fired up at the on-site food truck CM Smokehouse. Don’t skip the brisket crunchwrap. Bonus: There’s a second North Austin location off Braker Lane." - Darcie Duttweiler
"The South Lamar location of the bar is airing Olympics games, which pair well with its happy hours and on-site barbecue truck CM Smokehouse. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Nadia Chaudhury
"On the corner of South Lamar and Oltorf is Bouldin Acres, an enormous beer garden in what used to be a two-acre car dealership. It’s basically an adult amusement park with pickleball courts, corn hole, and loads of TV screens. Bouldin Acres is also home to the very good barbecue trailer CM Smokehouse.
