I really hope the area's residents (and everyone else too!) appreciates what a gem of restaurant this is & comes to support this place. The food is excellent quality & cooked well. The beverage options are unique, local, & refreshing. And the atmosphere is clean & very good vibes. And the owner/staff puts a lot of love into making it a great establishment. Found it on a whim while driving through the area, and we left very happy that stopped by to try it.

1st time had the lamb chops (only served on sundays) i tore that plate every which way but LOOSE!!! 2nd time had the brisket grilled cheese....delicious but a lot of food 😋 decent beer selection

Been coming to BLVD since it opened its doors and it’s my go to after work and for any occasion. They’re always changing their menu and introducing new items to its customers so there’s always something new to try. The beer selection is always great Alex is always rotating new beer styles and local breweries allowing us to indulge without having to travel to set breweries. It’s a very pleasant experience to come hangout at BLVD. With a beer garden in the near future and a new brewery venture in the works can’t wait to experience what’s to come.

This place is a must! Delicious good and fun vibes! The drinks were great and not a bad price! My partner and I walked in just to check it out and left being big fans. I can't wait to come back! The carne asada fries were unreal and the lemon pepper wings left me speechless. 10/10!!

I tried a bit of everything and honestly, every dish came out hitting.The vaquero fries with prime sirloin steak were hands down the star of the night. The steak was tender with a perfect char, and the waffle fries were crispy and seasoned just right. Pairing it with the chimichurri on the side took it over the top fresh, garlicky, and full of flavor. It was the kind of dish you can't stop eating once you start. Definitely a great shareable plate if you're with a group The chronic fries with added pastrami were another hit stacked high, cheesy, smoky, and super comforting.. The baja shrimp tacos were fresh and bright, loaded with cabbage, tomatoes, and onions , and topped with a creamy avocado sauce that brought all the flavors together without being too heavy. The cali burrito with top sirloin had flavorful, well seasoned steak packed inside along with sour cream and bits of french fries and wrapped with that crispy, cheesy outer layer that adds the perfect texture. Overall, everything was bold, hearty, and full of flavor, but those vaquero fries absolutely set the tone for the night. I'd definitely come back.

Just one ick.... But I'll explain that at the end. It was our first time here. We had been wanting to try this place for quite a while. We had just seen on IG that the outside was just completed or opened. But from what the owner said, it looks like it had bee open for quite a while. There was someone else there who also came for the first time and we both asked the same question if the outside patio area had just opened versus the inside that we know had been opened for quite some time but we were met with the same answer. The other fellow even said we just saw on IG that the outside just opened lol. But it's okay.... I think we all figured it out. Everything else here was awesome. Great vibes here. Outside was really nice. Malonie provided 110% customer service. The owner was nice. He made rounds to make sure everything was running smoothly inside. She also sold the most delicious cookies. Everything is reasonably priced. Now..... the food.... OOOOH MYYYYYY LORDDDDTTTT.... You MUST get the food here. We want to try everything. We ordered the shrimp tacos .... If not, these are one of the best ever!!!!! The restaurant is clean. Family orientated place. Parking is scarce but we found out later we could have parked in the area that said it was for a supermarket. We felt safe. Came on a Friday. Hopefully soon they will have vodka. I wasn't feeling beer that day but did get one. They offer a variety of beers and wine-alcohol. They do not have hard liquor at this time. The one and ONLY ick I had which I won't put a lower score for is that we waited outside for 20 min before deciding to come in and order. The guy who was taking orders outside wasn't having a great day. It was apparent when we walked in. He was on the phone, most likely on break, and was having an unhappy conversation on his cell. Wasn't trying to pay attention but it was pretty hard not to when trying to make our way to the patio area. We didn't know he was the outside server until a few people said who he was and it would be faster to go inside. Didn't want to dock stars for that. Some of the patrons said he was drunk but none of our business lol. We just wanted to stop by and try out this place. We wanted to enjoy the outside but maybe next time.

A hidden gem and an awesome random find. Place has a nice overall vibe, sports on serval screens, drinks were flowing. Service was excellent all around, very prompt and friendly. Food and drink order was in quick and was served just as fast. I opted for their PUBstrami burger and it was a solid choice. Everything about this burger is quality. Both meats, the pastrami and the burger itself were cooked just right, perfectly savory and juicy. The toppings/greens were as fresh and crisp as can be. All held together on a soft brioche bun. Came with a side of salt and pepper fries. Fries were also great. Definitely going to return and definitely would recommend to others.

One of my favorite places to eat in the city! The service is great and so is the food! Quality meat at a restaurant is hard to find these days but here we are! Great beef patties steaks chili and the best pastrami!! I love the waffle fries and the piggy bits! Service can take a place to the next level and the ladies that work and cook here are elite! I usually get there right when they open for dinner or lunch after church! Best burgers in Compton/Carson/Lynnwood. Give them a try you really can't go wrong with any menu item

The food was amazing, the best burger ever, all of the food was amazing. It's a place you have to go to least once. The entire place was just wow, the staff was great. Gonna have to come back.

Well I finally had a chance to Cruise by and stop in and try the food at Bouevard Gartopub!!! Can I say what took me so long??? From the street you wouldn't know it but this place is holding hostage some badass burgers, especially the Pubstrami. I have had some Pastrami burgers before but this one is on a whole other level!! I posted a picture of it but let me tell you the flavor profiles on point especially when you add some of the house Chimchuri inside the burger and all over rhe fries!!!! As Emril Lagassi would say Bam!! My daughter ordered the Cali Club Burger and just like that she was in burger heaven!!! My Son ordered the Brisket Grilled Cheese you want to know how it tasted melt in your mouth, those were his words!!! Wifey ordered a Chicken Sandwich and well it wasnt a burger thats all im saying :) We did get 2 starters Waffle Fries & Brussels Sprouts and both were fan favorites especially the waffle fries for my wife she said the taste was amazing she could even tell if the cooked in oil. The owner stopped by to say hi and offered one of his Belgium Brown beers and seriously if I didn't live im Gelndale I probably would have stayed for a few more beers so cold and so good!!! The inside was very very cool the bar, and dinning area a re mixed together giving you a very welcoming vibe. The waitress was super nice and very helpful if it wasnt for her I would have never met the owner and got to try out the beer!!!! To be honest 5 Stars doesn't feel like it should he enough, especially because of the food, hospitality, food, beer and food oh did I say there food!!! Dont take my word for it stop in and Eat Drink and be Merry!!!

I'm compton raised and always want to support local businesses . And this is a business that for sure we need to support . The food is amazing not just the internet hype ! The customer service is so amazing ! Right when we walked in received with such welcoming vibes . Considerate of my son that is on the spectrum noticed and made it sensory friendly. The music vibes isn't too loud able to have conversation. Will come again !

My experience at Boulevard was fun! I went as part of the Pint Life Beer passport where participating bars/pubs have one cent beers. I was a little surprised because I was expecting a brewpub but what I found was a full bar with a wide variety of local beers, cocktails and even soju. Giovanni was behind the bar and when I let him know I was here for my penny pint he was quick to offer me samples of what they had on tap after asking what I enjoyed drinking. You could tell he was definitely excited about beers and proud of the selection they had. I ended up getting something with their house tap tapper on it and it was an easy drinker. I hadn't eaten yet and I saw that their Saturday special was a $10 smash burger and I ordered that with chili-cheese fries as an upcharge. The burger was juicy-a rarity for a smash burger and their chili was made with Wagyu beef was rich but not overly so. My bill including my penny pint came out to less than 20 bucks, pre-tip which is amazing for the LA area! I chopped it up a little more with Giovanni as I was closing out about the beer passport and the neighborhood

Excellent service! Came here on a Friday night for date night and it was loud and fun. Food and drinks came out in less than 3 minutes when I ordered. Lots of different food options but if you have a craving for tacos need not worry there are plenty of street tacos vendors to choose from when you step outside. We'll be back for the service and delicious food.

Food and Service here was beyond my expectations! We tried a few things -Wings (Sweet n Spicy Korean flavor) 9 out of 10. -Tri Tip Tacos 10 out of 10!! -Double Smashed Cheeseburger 10 out of 10! And their fries were bomb too. We will definitely be back soon to tri other items on the menu. Great great customer service and speedy turnaround time with food.

A good friend suggested we try Boulevard Gastropub for our monthly hang out. Thursday evening we easily found a table and were able to watch a few games from our booth. Malonie greeted us warmly and gave us ample time to review the food and beer menu (which is on a TV near the entrance). We opted to try the chimichurri fries other Yelpers have posted and they did not disappoint. The toppings were well-portioned and not overwhelming; the steak was cooked and seasoned properly. (I may return just to eat an order of those fries on my own ) Our shrimp tacos were a great accompaniment with the avocado tacos. I especially enjoyed the sauces - spicy green sauce and chipotle thousand, respectively. Each complemented the seafood and avo to enhance their flavors. Our beer flights were delicious and service was friendly, patient, and consistent. Be sure to take advantage of the dedicated parking lot located just before the restaurant (you may miss it and have to circle the block like we did). Can't wait for our next visit!

Very hip and trendy spot, made me feel like I was in Williamsburg Brooklyn! I had to calm down as their menu had a modern day twist on very common items. Extensive variety and wow the cocktails! Karla makes a mean mango mojito and she got our order right as custom as it was.  It is no wonder they have five out of five stars on yelp. People from Beverly Hills come to eat here!  In addition, I would like to add that all of the meat from the brisket to the burger to the pastrami to the bacon was all high quality grade. The restaurant did not cheapen in any of its products. Oh yeah, let's not forget how off the hook the beer flight is! I can't wait to go back soon. Also, very affordable prices.

I really love this place. Great food good people the owners you know there is very hands-on very family oriented. Very very great vibes. I mean the food is a 10 out of 10 that's not a question. The pulled pork fries were good , their signature burger was good , the chicken wings were good , their drinks were good.. I literally recommend you stopping by and experiencing the food and service yourself ! I wish I would've taken a photo of everything but because it was good, I went straight to grubbing !

This place exceeded mine and my husband's expectations. We had no idea where to go eat Saturday night and chose Boulevard Gastropub after reading their amazing reviews. Food was delicious and large variety of drinks. Highly recommend, will be going again soon!

I have fallen in love with this place. Came once with a friend and the food was amazing. Then they allowed us to plan a birthday celebration and they were extremely accommodating. They have earned a loyal customer for life! Wings cooked to perfection. Burgers delicious and juicy!

I live literally 5 minutes from here and have been so excited to come, so I decided to come from the Galaxy game for the MLS final! I was super hyped to walk in and pick a spot since I was first, but the worker in a beanie was a bit rude and asked me, "Do you have a party?" as I picked a booth. It's a valid question, which I did have a party, but the tone in which you ask is important too. I didn't let that ruin a place I was hyped to finally come to though, because the other worker actually in a Galaxy jersey was kind and helpful! The food and beer itself was bomb! I got the LARS burger and it was an absolute unit! So much flavor and it held me down the entire game! I also got some cheese sticks that were hella bomb. But back again to the worker that was rude, she told me and my party we couldn't split checks at all, which is okay, but come to find out at the end of the game, we could at the register. I don't know if she was having a bad day or something, but man. She sure gave off a bad vibe overall for a first impression. Thank you again to the kind girl in a Galaxy jersey that kept the vibes nice and was extremely helpful! Gz up! Ring me!

Great food and great beer. The vibe is always chill and they always have good sports on TV. Love that the owner comes out to talk to people. The food takes a little while to come out sometimes but I genuinely believe that's why the quality is so great. Can't expect good quality food to come out in 5 min. Overall great place and a hidden gem in Compton.

Went here on my birthday with family for the first time and picked it because they had good looking options with vegetarian options (I was the only vegetarian). For starters, we were acknowledged when we came in (plus), and our waiter came and assisted us rather quickly. Ordering is done via QR code and they actually have a nice sized menu (there is no dessert menu so for us big backs we must find another option). In all seriousness, the waiter was excellent, the wait time was hardly even noticeable for the food (plus there), and they make a lot of their items there at the facility (sauces, etc). Possible con: the street parking will probably be full so there is an entrance to a parking area that is easy to miss if the streets are crowded. Nonetheless there is parking so I'm not going to blame the facility for that. Great experience and definitely worth stopping by

We had an event here for a client of mine. It was FANTASTIC! This is a real hidden gem in the truest sense of the word. This small, family-owned business is so friendly and surprisingly sophisticated in a very casual and comfortable way. They know wine and are happy to introduce you to new brands and varietals. The night of our event, they invited an independent winemaker to provide a tasting for our guests - a really nice touch and very unexpected! The food they put out for the event was all tasty and perfect for our happy hour party. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were to work with... even packing up some food and wine for me because they noticed that I was working the whole party (always!) and didn't get to eat anything. This is a winner! If you're in Compton or nearby, seek this place out. You will NOT regret it.

Stumbled upon this place on tik tok so decided to visit yesterday and it was amazing! Our server was soooo nice! We had BOTTOMLESS mimosas and for the price it was awesome! The food was very good, they have a wide selection of drinks and food. The music was also a vibe. It's a must to have music if you're drinking! I'm rating this place 5 stars though I do have a suggestion. I'll start with I personally eat out at a lot of places and the food, service, vibe and how I am served is what will make me return. With that being said.... Please serve food with actual silverware and not plastic. Other than that, if you haven't been here, GO.

I've been here plenty of times. Food is always great here. Stop by for the burgers and great microbrews they have on tap. If you're an LA Galaxy fan, you'll appreciate the Galaxy swag throughout the place. I usually sit at the counter and service is fast and friendly. I'm happy to support a great restaurant in my area!

Cool hidden gem in Compton with cold drinks and really good food .. don't judge this place by its outside looks it's really nice inside they have great service and it's very roomy and cosy inside.. make sure you support your local restaurant

OMG totally thought I reviewed this new local gem this review is way overdue! Compton officially has its very 1st Gastropub and what I love about this place it is saving me the drive out to other brewery's {where I have gone} because they offers beers from local brewery's. The beer choices do change up, some may find it a Con if you are stuck to wanting that ONE beer you're already familiar with BUT the Pro is it gives you an excuse to try something new and different. In my case I always tend to start off with a flight and choose which I like the best and stick to that for the remainder of the evening. The staff and owner are nice easy going people that's a total plus. The waitress is always pleasant enough to give recommendations. Their menu options are great and not over bearing with so much to read through. I highly recommend the Spicy Korean Wings, Pork Belly Fries have become a popular shareable within my friends group. The chicken tenders are my personal go to. If you love a good burger the Blvd Burger & Cali Burger for the win! Also, they do have cocktails and wine options to choose from if you're not a beer fan. AND TV's to catch the Dodgers games or football. Lastly, I recommend checking out the IG page @boulevardgastropub for weekly specials and events.

This is a family owned restaurant and the food and drink don't disappoint. I definitely recommend the Chiki Cheese fries, Outlaws burger and Voodoo wings. I've gone to this restaurant 3 times in the last month and I can say I haven't been disappoint once. Tell Mallory I sent ya.

PHENOMENAL!! I had been meaning to check this place out for a while since I work across the street, just never never got to it. Yesterday, I was STARVING but couldn't leave work. Decided to give them a call to see if they could drop off the food for me and they did . I ordered the Cali burger, medium, no onion. Food quality was 5 star, I have absolutely no complaints. Customer service was amazing, food quality was insane, and overall top 3 one of the best burgers I've ever had. I'm definitely a burger person so that says a lot! I will for sure be coming back to this restaurant in the future.

I first read about this place on LA Eater. Boulevard Gastropub is located in the city of Compton on Compton Blvd, just east of the 710 fwy. The owner, Alex, greeted my brother and I as we entered. The menu is just enough to keep you wondering but not too much that you are overwhelmed. I decided on the tri tip tacos and garlic fries. Our food was brought out fairly quickly and it was visually appealing. Upon taking a bite, it was delicious! The tacos had layers of flavor from the pickled red onions to the tender tri tip. The garlic fries were also very... garlicky and seasoned well. Overall, I will definitely be back to try out other menu options.

I went in as a first time and I am impressed with food and the family treatment type of service even though all tables were busy. The double smash burger was one of the juiciest burgers I've had in my life. I was told they make their own pastrami so I'll definitely be coming back and order myself a pubstrami burger and another beer flight, man do they have a great selection of beer.

For those hamburger prices I'll stick to Hawkins house of burgers in watts and for tacos . Tacos poblanos in Compton. Maybe go here for Tuesday drink but that's it

Compton's 1st Gastropub! Heard about this spot from a colleague, so we decided to try it! It's a cool spot for eats & drinks after work. They open at 3, so it's right on time for educators! I was not that hungry; but My colleague got the chicken salad that looked delicious, another got a burger that is "cooked to order" w/ beer battered onion rings (my fav), I got the garlic fries...I didnt particularly care for them, b/c I prefer fresh garlic as opposed to garlic sauce. So I wouldn't get that again. The owner is a Compton Native that has his children in the district and has also worked in the district. That alone is a plus to continue supporting. Parking can be struggle, there's street parking and a lot per the owner; but a truck was blocking the entrance. Overall, we decided we will absolutely be back! Plus we joined the rewards program!

Service is amazing. Food was great and the drink I had was amazing. Been living in Compton most of my life so seeing the food scene grown exponentially is great.

Finally had the chance to check out boulevard gastropub and it did not disappoint. I no longer need to leave Compton for good food and some craft beer. Great environment the staff is really friendly and make you feel at home. Service is great good variety of tasty food

My fiancé and I just moved to Paramount and we've been looking for a local spot to grab a drink and a beer. I think we just found our local watering hole! The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming. It had such a chill and welcoming atmosphere. You can clearly see that the people who came in were very comfortable and familiar with the place. Overall it had such a family vibe atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place for beers and burgers. They have a great selection of beers and the food was really good and flavorful.

Food 10/10 service is 10/10 ambiance is 10/10 call me biased for growing up in Compton, but there's nothing in Compton quite like Boulevard Gastropub. The cheese sticks made with Oaxaca cheese are FIRE!!!

Love love love !!! I came here with my husband and son not knowing it was kid friendly. The lady who served us was very respectful and polite. She seen my son getting a lil cranky and put on a movie for him and made us feel very comfortable. Very tasty affordable & such a cute lil place !!!

Service, food quality, taste, deals! All very impressive. I stopped by randomly on my way home from work, I saw good reviews so I took a chance & I've been coming back ever since. They have a large menu so much to choose from. Despite the place being on the smaller side they really know how to set the atmosphere, music, lights, sports TV's every which way you look I mean it's definitely a vibe. 10/10 would highly recommend.

This hidden gem is family owned and operated. Their foods flavor is unlike anything we've ever had. Staff is super friendly and you can tell they take pride and love running the restaurant. We came on a Thursday night and watched the football game. They have a great selection of beers on tap and an extensive menu that didn't disappoint. A must visit if you're nearby or across the country. I promise you won't be disappointed.
