"For Thanksgiving, Downtown Seattle’s Michael Mina steakhouse has a $105 three-course menu featuring options like tuna tartare, squash bisque with Dungeness crab, turkey with chestnut stuffing, and pumpkin cheesecake. If turkey isn’t your thing, you can get miso-broiled sea bass or prime rib as an alternative main. If you want to be a little splashy, you can get shellfish platters and even caviar to supplement your order." - Harry Cheadle, Eater Staff

This was our first time here and the food and cocktails orders were provided with perfect timing especially for a Friday evening. The steak, sauteed mushrooms and truffle mac and cheese were excellent and the cocktails were made perfectly. The complimentary fries was an awesome surprise and were crispy with 3 yummy flavors 😋 Our server, Tanya, made the experience even better with her friendly and welcoming energy and excellent customer customer service. We would highly recommend Bourbon Steak and will definitely be back 😊

When your very difficult to please, Viennese father, with 40 years as General manager in the luxury hotel business, likes the dinner... you know you've done something right! Fantastic service. TRULY Delicious meal. Gorgeous ambiance. A well done meal all round...and a must do in Seattle if you need to impress the guests. The GM really knows how to make his guests feel welcomed. 5 stars tonight! Well deserved.

From the moment you are greeted by the door man everything is amazing. As soon as you walk in you realize that this place isn’t a normal steakhouse. Yes it’s classy as fast as the food goes but it pretty laid back, you won’t feel under dressed walking in wearing jeans, button shirt and shoes… It was a special occasion for us and as we were seated are table had a card from signed by the staff welcoming us and hoping we enjoy our night with them. Our server known as Boston Eddie was amazing, brought us complementary champagne and also had the kitchen bring out an order of duck fat fried truffle fries (which aren’t on the menu). We put in our entire order but we were able to tell him when we wanted the dish, and not be rushed. Everything was amazing from the front door, to the service, the food and to the moment you walk out. I highly recommend this steakhouse and if you do go, try and get seated in Boston Eddie’s section.

I really wanted to give a better review. The place could have been a slam dunk across the board and a place I'd definitely consider returning to. The food and initial service were actually quite excellent. Things came out at a slow but not unreasonable pace. The prices are not cheap but they aren’t outrageous for an upscale steakhouse. However, the issues came about an hour in. A very large party started filtering in. The tables next to ours (reservation for 2) started getting added together to make one long table in the back. While somewhat distracting, initially wasn't an issue and our meal service continued as usual. While waiting for dessert we were asked to move to another table so that the long table could continue to be built. The server ended up comping our dessert for the inconvenience which I thought was a fair compromise, especially considering it was my guest’s birthday. However, within minutes of our dessert arriving we were abruptly asked to move again to another table because the back area had been "bought out." It wasn’t particularly polite either. It was basically - you can’t remain at this table if you’re going to stay. We were offered significantly less private place at the bar or at a high top. To me this is a pretty unacceptable way to treat guests with a reservation. If you don't have the space don't accept accept the reservation -  plain and simple. Asking to move once with the dessert comp was fine but twice in short span is just plain discourteous. A rather unfortunate ending to what could have been a great experience because the food was overall fine. Won’t be returning. I’d rather pay a little more for better treatment at Metropolitan Grill.

Got stuck in Seattle due to the canceled flights. Best week ever! Went to Bourbon Steak Seattle twice! Delicious food & great atmosphere. The staff was amazing! The first night I ate the wild mushroom soup and the filet. The waiter staff knew exactly what cocktails or wines paired with each meal. The second night was New Years Eve and they served an amazing 3 course meal! Experience was awesome. Once again staff was exceptional. If you are ever in Seattle, please stop by! You won’t regret it!

We came here last year for our work holiday party. And thought it be just as great. That changed a few things like how and when you ordered, and how soon you'd get your meal. I don't think it went as well as last year, and the seating wasn't very helpful for a large group. We had to get an extra couple of trays of French fries, because the wait was longer. Maybe next year we'll try a different restaurant. Overall, we had some good food and exchanged gifts.

Very good. Chicken was extremely tender with a tasty sauce. Dessert had an exceptional caramel topping. Pork belly bacon appetizer was quite delicious. Lots of new staff in training when we visited, but the bar tenders were top notch.

Stay away from the duck fat fries. Great place for happy hour. The hh truffle burger was tasty. The hh duck fat fries were awful, overdone and dry. The cocktails and red wine tasting flight were outstanding. If you come in at around 4 pm, it feels like you have the place to yourself. The staff was great except for one server who came and stood about 1 foot behind me and was training another waiter how to ring up checks. Their conversation became so annoying that I had to ask them to go away. So try not to sit near the cash register. Otherwise, it is a great place to just chill out and try some perfectly made cocktails.

Yelp
Okay... I really enjoyed the food here and the service was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. I got the rib eye steak and it's the best steak I've ever had! My bf got the salmon and he enjoyed it too! We ordered way too much food and spent way too much money. Lol The best part was the service. The server was amazing. He made a mistake on the bill and corrected it with no fuss. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We are big fans of Chefs Mina's restaurants. We visited his restaurants all over the United States. We have been going to Bourbon Steak House in Seattle since they opened 2 years ago. Since we live in downtown Seattle few blocks from the Bourbon Steak House we found the place very convenient and great addition to restaurants in downtown Seattle, however we were thoroughly disappointed in our last visit to the Bourbon Steak House. The place is surrounded by homeless and drug users. Leaving the steakhouse late evening didn't felt safe. The entrance to the restaurant is very dirty and smelly. Upon arrival there were nobody to great us nor there were any doorman/security like it used to be. We requested to be seated on other side of the restaurant (not along the Pike street) because one can see homeless leaning along the windows and walls of the steakhouse. Please be advised not to sit on your right hand side as you enter the restaurant. Restaurant had few signature dishes and to our disappointment there were out of few on Saturday night. We specially came for the signature Maine Lobster pot pie and they ran out of that and cheese cake as well. There were couple of managers that day, they were just standing and staring at the guests and no one approached to us during our entire dinner. We approached one of the managers and ask her opinion about the ambience at the steakhouse. We explained to her that ambience is not very welcoming at this place and also ask her about why the signature dishes were not available on Saturday night. We got short answer about supply chain issues, and they ran out of the cheesecake because day before there were high demand for cheesecakes... Service was average and we noticed negative changes even on their signature French fries. French fries trio supposed to have different spices accompanied with different sauces thats what always made them so special. This fries that we got were dry and not seasoned at all. We took signature tartar, center cut filet mignon and miso buttered grilled half lobster. They put my lobster on the small plate with a sea salt one couldn't even cut or eat on that small plate and I had to request extra plate to eat my meal. Steak was good but could be nice if it would be accompanied with asparagus or some small sides and extra bit of sauce. Most of their side dishes are not steak friendly. It didn't felt like $300 dinner you can get a better deal and ambience at Capital Grill within few blocks. The area of Bourbon Steak House is big concern to us as soon as Bourbon Steak House closes the entrance is totally occupied by open drug users and homeless around the whole area of the steakhouse. It concerns us mostly the entrance I do not want to go into details but you better wash your shoes when you come home. If you don't want to feel unsafe I would highly recommend to choose Butchers Table rather that Bourbon Steak House on 4th and Pike.

Yelp
A gem in the city! Imagine a place where the vibe is low key but also swanky, the staff are over-the-top friendly and efficient, and the food and drinks are out of this world!!! This is the place!! I saw an Oak Aged Margarita in the Happy Hour menu, and since margaritas are my jam, I had to try it. It had a nice salted rim, definitely not too sweet and packed quite a tasty punch. I would recommend this again and again. I love finding places like this that have a great go-to drink! Both hubs and I ordered the Black Truffle Burger. It's to die for good. You can taste the char. Great flavor the burger. It had great creamy taste with the camembert cheese. Very filling for us (we tend to share entreés). We'll be back! This is a great spot!

Yelp
TOGO Review: I don't like leaving low star reviews... but how do you mess up an order when customers are paying premium prices? I was supposed to get the spinach but they gave me the Brussel sprouts. Even on the corner of the boxes it said spinach, but when I opened the box when I got home, it was the Brussel sprouts. Overall food was decent 5/10.

Yelp
5.6.2023 We had my friend's bday at bourbon steak house. We arrived earlier so we decided to sit in the bar and snack few things. Tuna tartare was my favorite and ahi tuna was fresh and I loved the sauce. Service was very professional and GM James, bartender Adam were always pay attention to us. Great service! Steak was also delicious and I would love to come back for next time!

Christopher L.

Yelp
First off the atmosphere is fantastic and has an upscale vibe to it. For the food, you can't really make a bad choice. My favorites are the tuna tartare, the wedge salad, hay smoked tomahawk steak, and basque cheesecake. As far as some notes go, the THC chicken nuggets are more like tenders. Though they tasted ok and paired well with the sauce, it's not what was expected for "nuggets". However, the loaded mashed potatoes were tasty. Also, if you come in for happy hour, pretty much everything on it is good So for the rating and the service notes. The service was subpar from what is expected at this price point and establishment. Opted in for the tasting menu and for 4 courses took almost 3 hours as they kept forgetting the next dish and were not checking in. As I was having the tasting menu and my spouse was not and we were waiting for the mains to be sent out together, the wait was significant for both of us. The server and staff noticed but instead of any acknowledgement or apology for the obvious subpar service they chose to ignore which leads to this rating. As patrons who come here a lot, they could do better. Service has been declining over the past few weeks and this was the cherry on the top. Though we are here a lot, this was a holiday kind of cheer dinner and the lack of service and acknowledgement overshadowed the food and make a significantly subpar experience (enough to think twice about coming here on such a frequent basis). Not to mention that I bought a bottle of bubbles and it was completely flat due to the wait. In summary, good food and poor service lately. The poor service outweighs the food.

Yelp
So I was pretty exited to go here for Thanksgiving dinner I have heard great things about the Michael Mina dining experience and was let down. It started off well our server was great and my drink was on point. The first course was good I had the instant bacon it was a nice play on pork belly, but our bread course never came. We made several requests but it never came. After almost an hour they brought our entrees and alas my rare filet was overdone and a little tough, the puree was very nice though. The sides that came were nice, I must say the Brussels were my favorite part of the meal. If it wasn't for our server I would have stomped out of the place. I would say it's a hit or miss type of place.

Yelp
While visiting Seattle I was able to get a reservation at Bourbon Steak, which combines my two favorite words- bourbon and steak. The steak was amazing, with plenty of choices. The pork belly appetizer was a bit small for the price, but overall very tasty. The surprise was the French fry melody that came out instead of bread. Bravo Bourbon Steak, this fries idea is amazing and needs time duplicated everywhere. Decent bourbon selection, honestly, for the name I would have expected more selection, but it was fine. Service was great, my waitress was super nice and attentive. Check this place out if you're in Seattle.

Yelp
This was my first time in Seattle and my boyfriend decided to celebrate my birthday here. I was so excited because I read some good reviews about the place. Was I impressed? BEYOND. The service was incredible, the wine selection was amazing, and the food was, by far, one of the best steaks I've had. Everything from the quality of the meat to the incredible service exceeded my expectations. It's definitely a MUST-EAT in Seattle!

Yelp
Really nice steakhouse! Just FYI they open at 4, but sit down service doesn't start until 5. We saw the servers being debriefed for the evening and sampling wine. We ended up sitting at the bar since we were in a rush but they were able to accommodate our entrees earlier. The happy hour menu is a nice touch and good value - we ordered one slider and the broiled oysters. The broiled oysters had a good heat to it and really good flavor! Our bartender brought us over the trio of fries since we did have a table reservation (but opted for bar so we could eat earlier). They were great! The fry sauces were house made ketchup, truffle aioli, and house made barbecue sauce. All were good! We opted for the happy hour fries too and was surprised they came out this loaded style - it was good but wished they were naked to keep the crisp! Our rib eyes were cooked to perfect temperature - I only wish it was salted a bit more. We also ordered the trio sauces and chose steak sauce, au jus, and au poivre. The au jus was okay, pretty flat. The au poivre was better but wish there was more of a punchy peppercorn. I liked the steak sauce the best, which is a pretty classic steak sauce. The bartenders were fun and easy to chat with. There were a lot of usuals during the happy hour they chatted with but still made us feel welcomed.

Yelp
Invited for a group dinner shortly before I had to leave to get timely to the SEA airport, I only managed to stay long enough to get a few of the appetizers, but none of the main dishes. But the appetizers were very nice, some sushi-style mini-bites, some crackers/pita bread and cheeses, some vegetables with dip sauce. Everything was delivered in ultra-slow fashion and after figuring out that there were more than 1 larger group ... Fortunately, I got more food at the Delta Sky Club at SEA (see separate review).

Stefan P.

Yelp
Always a GREAT Meal here and impeccable service! I'm gonna run a Dungeons and Dragons game for Matt the bartender! They got Chimay Ale just for me! It's nice to be appreciated!

Pamela F.

Yelp
Just outstanding. So glad we chose to pay Bourbon Steak Seattle a visit during our 20th anniversary trip. From start to finish, we had an incredible experience. We'd heard (via Yelp!) of how amazing Megan is at her job. We were thrilled when she came to our table and we got to watch her in action. Masterful. The number of details she keeps in her head while remaining incredibly kind and calm is mind-boggling. See captions in my pix for details of what we selected. Seems one can't go wrong with any pick. We always enjoy sharing a variety of dishes so we could sample a lot of options and this day was no different. One of the most memorable dining experience amongst many incredible meals during our 2.5 week vacation in the San Juan Islands, Seattle, Vancouver, BC, and the Canadian Rockies ~ and that's really saying a lot considering the wonderful places we were fortunate enough to dine throughout our travels. Don't miss this place while in Seattle!

Yelp
Cap of the ribeye! If you see this on the menu, it's a must order. The best part of the cow. Especially, if it's wagyu. In my case at Bourbon Steak, it's American Wagyu. American wagyu is Japanese breed beef raised in the US. Bourbon Steak is Michael Mina's chain of steakhouses. It's a higher tier of steakhouses in my opinion. Started off with Tequila Ocho Anejo. I was a bit surprised to see a good selection of tequila in the Northwest. The head bartender came for a visit, and we chatted a little about tequila. Bourbon serves up complimentary beef tallow fries with a few dippings. Forgot each one but all quite good. Next came a Honeycrisp apple salad. Nice and refreshing but expecting quite a bit more. A pricey apple with a few greens. Good but too simple. The 6 oz wagyu rib cap served medium rare from Snake River Farms is a must. Rib cap is the best tasting cut of beef especially if it's wagyu. I ordered this steak Dungeness crab Oscar which is way overkill. I could of done without and the steak was great enough. Brussel sprouts with tamari lime are like candy. Yah, veggies like candy. So good... It'll turn meat eaters into vegetarians. That good! Wait staff here is very attentive. Found it a bit interesting that the waiter in trainer, an older gentleman, knew more about the ingredients of the dishes and food better than the younger waiter who was training. Otherwise, service was good. Overall, a great place for dinner. Remember.. Cap of the rib eye!

Martin R.

Yelp
I need to take down my rating from last year. Based on my last steak here things changed in 2023. Previously, I rated Bourbon to serve the best ribeye steak in Seattle but that is no longer the case. The 22 oz bone-in ribeye for $89 was not prime beef and a tough chew with much gristle. I was told prime beef is reserved for their Tomahawk steak.... well that's enough for two people and thus, not attainable as a single portion. Not good. If this bone-in black angus ribeye had been served at a Black Angus Steakhouse for ~$40, I would have rated it 4 stars.... but here at Bourbon it missed the mark. The minuscule size of the classic Martini didn't help either. The dose was too small to be of any medicinal value. Service was fine, not outstanding, and since I was seated at a high table in the bar area, extremely close to others, the Ambiance was dominated by penetrating, deafening voices all around. Of note, this review is dominated by the steak quality (or lack thereof, as it should) but regardless, this place is brimming with people who either do not care or don't know better or are first time guests...I have no idea. But in such situation of infinite demand I cannot even blame the chef for cost-cutting measures. It's just that I notice and will think twice before joining that crowd again.

Ashley R.

Yelp
I stopped in for happy hour. They had coat check at the door and the ambiance felt like you could take a nice date or have a nice business dinner in here. OR do like I did and just sit and the bar. For reference I was in jeans and a sweater and boots. Nice but definitely still jeans. Mentioning this because "dress code" came up in my search. Not sure if they had one but I just wanted to mention! The bartenders were attentive and friendly and were happy to explain the menu or offer suggestions and pairings. I enjoyed the happy hour items because honestly, this place is pricey but I wanted to try something delicious. This is usually what I try to do before I go all out for a dinner that may or may not be good! Food - Mostly good! I'll say everything that was actually prepared was good. I had the aromatic beef skewers, the brussels, and the cheese plate. The beef was delicious and tender. I would come back now that I can trust their beef preparation. The brussel sprouts were so good. I could have just eaten that whole plate. Definitely took those back to the hotel because I was willing to eat them cold. I feel like I could have made a better cheese plate. Probably just paying for the honeycomb. The cubed cheese was not giving "artisnal" energy I expected haha. Also, I didn't know it was a chain! There's one in DC so I will stop in and see which coast is the best coast Bourbon Steak-wise.

Nathan T.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour, which is 4-6 daily. I highly recommend the burger. The burger was flavorful and cheese gooey but not messy. Was paired well with the duck fat fries, that had a great crispy texture.

Mimi N.

Yelp
Excellent food choices. Really Good customer service. Warm atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Nicole L.

Yelp
This was by far the best steak I have had in Seattle! This was a birthday celebration and 15 days celebration for myself and my fiancé and we felt so welcomed in the restaurant! The food was amazing and delivered to your table right on time as you finished each meal! Not to mention the drinks that were so delicious! I am definitely looking forward to coming back here and trying more items off the menu!

Julie Marcellina V.

Yelp
I went here last night for a friend's birthday. The customer service was super on point and I had a great experience dining with Bourbon Steak. James the GM took really good care of us. I would recommend this fine diner to others and I would mos definitely come back here.

Paula T.

Yelp
Outstanding service from the entire team! There's something about the Seattle air because every restaurant I've been too, the staff have been happy and so helpful, especially at this establishment. Since my friend is a newbie to Michael Mina's restaurants, I brought my friend here for a birthday dessert and cocktails, and typically, we'd sit at the bar sit we weren't ordering any dinner. The hostess informed us that the bar was full but was happily able to sit us a table. Our server and Nick (manager or sommelier?) was so sweet and fun and just made our night. I've been to Bourbon Steakhouse in LA, Stripsteak in both Vegas and Hawaii, and his pub in Vegas, and all establishments have had some of the best people working there.

Kim C.

Yelp
Amazing steak- tomahawk was delicious! Great service and cozy ambience. Really appreciate the available valet service especially in downtown Seattle area.

David L.

Yelp
Truly disappointing meal. Starts off by the host pushing me to sit at the bar which I declined. Waited close to 10 mins for a menu. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and the bone in Ribeye. Shrimp cocktail was average but the Ribeye was not medium rare, bland and not even 1/4 inch thick. I'm sorry, I expected much more for $88. The steak I bought from Wholefoods was much better.

Mark T.

Yelp
This place is good. I was speaking to another Yelper and he had listed Bourbon as his favorite Seattle Steak House - so we had to try it. We went on my wife's birthday. This place is super fancy - and has super fancy prices. Yet some of the servers were wearing blue jeans. I'm ok with it of course - I'm here for the food. For appetizers we had the phyllo-wrapped scallop. An interesting and successful idea! Also had the hamachi sashimi which was a delight, but oh-so-tiny. This reminds me of the big-plating-tiny-actual-food trope. But hey, we're saving room for the main courses I guess! One thing that's super fun is the 'undocumented' free fries you get as a starter. We asked about it, and I heard two other tables ask too! This is a great gimmick. Plus the fries and their dips *are* awesome. Another good idea, Bourbon! I had the wedge salad - I really liked the presentation. I'm a sucker for cool presentations. I love the WeWantPlates memes, but for me I actually like creative presentations like this. [see photo]. For sides we had the brussels sprouts and the glazed mushrooms. And these are actually a SUPER DEAL! Big portion, tasty and rich. Beefwise we tried the Wagyu eye and the straight up Rib eye. The wagyu was excellent, the Ribeye was, well, a ribeye. Not bad, but I wasn't blown away; next time I'll get the wagyu for sure. Both the steaks were VERY well-seasoned if you know what I'm saying. Luckily we had beverages. For dessert we got the beignets and they were good. We also got a free piece of birthday cake for my wife - the cake was not good! But I can't complain about that - it was free after all. What we *did* appreciate was the nice signed card we got wishing my wife a happy birthday. This is an extra-mile thing that actually is really nice. We know how much effort that is to write out cards like that! And finally, the dang-doodly valet car guy gave us the wrong 'cardkey' for our car so I had to re-program it. That was totally weird. Bourbon 'takes no responsibility' for their valet situation; I guess it's a no-win situation. In closing, we'll be back because there are many other items we want to try on the menu. Give Bourbon a try! Especially if you're on an expense account... 2 people $345 pre-tip. See photos!

Yelp
Knowing I'd be in the area after watching a symphony I thought trying somewhere new would be nice. It was beyond nice! It was fabulous! Delicious! Delightful! Before we even walked into the restaurant my partner and I was warmly greeted by a gentleman standing outside. He told us we were in for an experience. The hostess also greeted us warmly and sat my partner and I at the coolest little table I ever saw. It was a table for two but roomy for a full assortment of plates and an area I could stash my purse. The quarter leather chairs were cozy. The ambiance reminded me of a modern take on a classic steakhouse. I really enjoyed that everywhere my eyes went there was something intriguing to see. The service was INCREDIBLE! Our waiter, Todd, was absolutely wonderful. He made the best recommendations. He was nice, attentive, and made the experience very friendly. Todd wasn't the exception as the gentleman who served our appetizer and the lady who brought out our dessert also were just amazing - charming and warm individuals who highlighted the course and made fun conversation. Then there was the food. Mouth watering. The tuna tartare was the stuff of legends. The filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also tried their sauces - the au poivre was a clear winner though the au jus and the creamy horseradish were stunning too. The dessert was a banana tarts tatin. See, I am allergic to eggs and just having a dessert that isn't sorbet was a winner but this was so so good! That caramel sauce they use is some of the best, if not the best, caramel sauce I ever tried. I wanted to lick my plate it was that good. Todd was also our bartender and he seriously makes the most perfectly balanced drinks. The Singapore Sling was something I could drink all night. I started with an Aviation cocktail which was perfect. I am so enamored that I will happily come again and again! I loved it here.

Yelp
Truly excellent meal-- when the chef can work magic on a flat iron steak and elevate it past a prime cut, it's amazing! The flavors, textures, aromas were amazing for the appetizers, salads and entrees. Dessert fell a little flat and was a different flavor profile than indicated on the menu. Extensive wine list with multiple price points. Service was ok-- every time we looked up, a different person was there. At one point, team work must have kicked in because the sommelier served out mashed potatoes! All in all, excellent food and drink

Yelp
I've eaten here about ten times and this will be the last. The food has always been ok. I went today today meet my friend at the bar. She was inside waiting for me and when I tried to come in the security card said I couldn't come in without a reservation. The bar was nearly empty and my friend was waiting for me. The guy was beyond judgemental and for some reason didn't believe my friend was inside. I've been here on business many times and was appalled by the treatment. I find out later this was the security guards first day. This guy his a true liability. I get it that they are I. A tough neighborhood but this man lacked any training. I am really offended and can't believe an establishment like this would employ someone without proper training. My business meeting had to be moved because this man would t let me sit next to my client. Really sad. If you want a proper steak. Try metropolitan grill. We had the most proper service and most excellent meal a few days ago. Super proper old school service . If you want to be profiled this is a great place to go !!!

Yelp
Service 10/10, food 7/10. My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday dinner on a Monday night. We had reservations for 8:30, and trying to find street parking was a nightmare as expected for downtown. If you're driving, I'd recommend looking for a parking garage beforehand. If you're looking for street parking, you'll have to drive around a couple of times since most spots have restricted "no stops" or "load/unload only" signs. If you're lucky enough to find street parking, it's highly unlikely it'll be in front of the restaurant so be prepared to do some walking. They do have valet available. When we went, the rate was $15. As I gave up on trying to find parking and was pulling up to the valet, my luck started to turn around and I found a spot right out front! Upon entering, they offered to take our coats. We got there 10 minutes after our reservation start time, and they were kind enough to still seat us. Be careful when opening the door though. I got a splinter from the door frame. We had Dan as our server and he was super attentive and friendly! My boyfriend and I ordered the wedge salad, beef tartare, rib eye, New York strip, Mac and cheese, and whipped potatoes. All steaks come À la carte so be prepared to spend some money on side dishes! We had originally ordered two whipped potatoes, but Dan was kind enough to let us know that they're a shareable size! We skipped the second order of potatoes and went for the Mac and cheese instead. To start, they gave us a complimentary three differently seasoned fries to try with different dipping sauces for each one! The fries were phenomenal and a fun starter! The wedge salad was 10/10! It was dressed the perfect amount and had a perfect balance of flavors. Nothing was overpowering and it was very enjoyable. The beef tartare was 7/10. The texture was great, but it feels like it was missing something. I think some spices and acidity would help make it perfect! I ordered my rib eye medium rare, but it came out more like a medium. I think they might've accidentally mixed up the cook of my steak with my boyfriend's. He ordered his medium, but told me his was cooked under. The steak looked dry from the outside, but I didn't want to judge a book by its cover. However, the inside wasn't much better. The first bite I had was a tough piece of gristle, the second bite was chewy fat, and the third bite was dry. I tried powering through it because I don't like complaining/wasting food, but it was not enjoyable at all. I was honest with Dan about my steak, and he was extremely apologetic since the kitchen was closed and there was nothing they could do about it. I understood and was just happy that they were able to accommodate us coming late to begin with. The whipped potatoes were an interesting texture and could've used a bit of salt in my opinion. The mac and cheese on the other hand had a really rich cheese that was a bit too salty for my liking. Haha. At the end of our meal, Dan kindly informed us that another party seated near us took care of our bill! I was honestly shocked since nothing like that has ever happened to me before in my life! It felt kind of weird leaving without paying, but I did stop by the other table to thank the gentleman who took care of our tab! All in all, I was a bit let down by the food. I dined here back when it used to be RN74. I had the PERFECT most amazing skirt steak here back then, and I think about it all the time. I was extremely sad when RN74 closed, but was super excited to try the rebranded Bourbon Steak! I think we just came at a bad time since it was so close to closing, so I'm willing to give them another shot in the future!

Yelp
Service - five stars. Every person who came to our table was pleasant, helpful, courteous and professional. Every one! It was a complete pleasure. NY Strip (medium rare) was something you'd expect from Outback, and nowhere close to the quality the price demands. Flavor was almost there, but a tough and fatty chew. Very, very disappointing. The mac and cheese was excellent, and we almost ordered another side. Cheesy and delicious. I would give them another chance given the quality of the serving team, the chill atmosphere and the welcoming appeal (except for the bartender, who needs to buy a vowel in order to solve the puzzle). Three starts for now, and I'd recommend with a few caveats along with an insistence that you return your steak if it's as rough and fatty as Lizzo on vacation and insist on perfection. That's the beauty of a steakhouse, no?

Yelp
Strong 4.5 out of 5. We have been to the location in Nashville and would put most of the experience in parity. +1 - Atmosphere - though much smaller than Nashville +1 - Parking / Access - we walked, but it was close by +1 - Food & Drink - everything came out at the right temps, minus one of the steaks being a tad colder than the other +0.75 - Price - steak was the only item priced around what one would expect, the rest was way too high for what was sat on the table +0.75 - Service - was mostly good, had to ask for the fries, never got the bread we asked for, and things seemed to take a while May not be back to this location on future work trips, but will definitely keep heading to Nashville.

Yelp
Such a cute place and great happy hour menu. Items on the happy hour menu were pretty much all tasty. Happy hour items were priced roughly around $8-$10. - Happy Hour Beef Skewers - Happy Hour Duck Fries - soooooo freaking good! - Happy Hour Onion Dip - Happy Hour Oyster Trio - Happy Hour BO Margarita - Happy Hour Sidecar - Happy Hour Lemon Drop I found out by observing that our server was also the bartender! I thought that was pretty cool. The only thing I didn't like was the sketchiness outside the place.

Yelp
I got to try this new steak house in downtown Seattle and I was not disappointed in the food. Each table gets unlimited duck fat fries as a complimentary starter and we also ordered the wedge salad spilt to share. For steak we tried the ribeye amd hangar steak. Both were seasoned just right and cooked perfectly medium rare. The sides we tried was the truffle mac and cheese and creamy mashed potatoes. I think the truffle Mac and cheese was a bit lack luster in truffle flavor. It just tastes like normal Mac and cheese. The mash potatoes were one of the best mashed potatoes I've had. Very competitive against the Gordan Ramsey mashed potatoes at his steakhouse in Vegas. For dessert we got the smoked smores. It was very good, reminds me of a deconstructed smores and also IG worthy. They also give complimentary togo gourmet popcorn that has caramel and chocolate drizzle. The reason why I gave a 3 star was because of their service. We had to ask for serving spoons and no one refilled our waters. We had to flag down a server to get our water refilled. When we were ready to place our dessert order it took about 15 min before someone came back to take our order. It also took another 15 minutes for someone to realize we were all done and ready for our checks. I would come back because ambiance and food was excellent, but wish they can up the service game.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with Bourbon Steak in Seattle. Four of us came for dinner before a concert at Climate Pledge. We all ordered cocktails- a Paloma for me- delicious! Service was impeccable from the moment we were sat (there were two huge work events going on and yet they still delivered on service). My friend and I decided to share everything as we don't eat much. They split all plates for us and the portions were perfect. We started with the shrimp cocktail- so good. Then we shared a Cesar salad. Main course we shared a ribeye steak and ordered mushrooms, whipped potatoes and creamed spinach for the table- we all finished every bite. I'm adding Bourbon Steak as my go too when in Seattle- so delicious!

Yelp
I had to schedule a business dinner for 11 people with only a week's notice on a Monday evening, in a private room. It was nearly impossible to a) find any restaurants open on a Monday evening that had a private room, b) someone that could handle our reservation so quickly. The team at Bourbon Steak responded immediately and had a lovely private space available for us! We quickly picked the set menu options - which was a big hit with our team. We were able to secure the deposit quickly online and our reservation was complete within a very short period of time. The guests loved the meal and the venue. They were especially happy with the service. We will certainly use them again in the future for business dinners!

Yelp
This was our first time here and the food and cocktails orders were provided with perfect timing especially for a Friday evening. The steak, sauteed mushrooms and truffle mac and cheese were excellent and the cocktails were made perfectly. The complimentary fries was an awesome surprise and were crispy with 3 yummy flavors Our server, Tanya, made the experience even better with her friendly and welcoming energy and excellent customer customer service. We would highly recommend Bourbon Steak and will definitely be back

Yelp
My review is for a DoorDash order- so I have no understanding of the ambiance/service here. The order was made very quickly and was delivered right away - I had the food less than 10 min after it was ready. I say this because sometimes food sits and it's not the restaurant's fault etc. but this was a timely delivery. I ordered the filet ($65) and a baked potato ($11). While on par price-wise with other steak places, you also want to eat a good steak for that $$ and this was underwhelming. I thought it was odd there was no choice to select how it was cooked, but then I saw a note that all steaks were done at medium rare which would have been my choice. I'd say this was cooked medium (photo attached- you be the judge). It was also one of the fattiest filets I've ever had - I have no idea if this is normal, but I've never noticed so much of that kind of tissue in it, and it was even in the middle of the steak, not just the sides. The flavoring was just ok- the outside had a nice char, but overall not very memorable. The baked potato was also kind of meh. I've never seen nacho type cheese served with it from an upscale place, but I love this kind of cheese, so I was up for it. It was hard to taste compared to a cheddar, or perhaps with takeout you don't get the same portion, so it takes away from it. The bacon bits were just weird. They were chopped so much it was almost like they were a powder. I thought maybe I got the end of a bag and there would be real pieces below, but nope. It was a very weird texture. All in all, I don't think the food items I had were worth returning or ordering again. There are better steaks to be had in the city!

Yelp
Had an out of town guest and chose to have dinner here. Our table and service was excellent!! We had an early dinner so the experience started out pretty chill and relaxed. The salmon was cooked perfectly and really delicious. The steak was okay, but surprisingly a little more tough than I was expecting. The clam chowder was salty. My son didn't eat it all and I didn't have more than one bite as it was inedible in my opinion. We let the waitress know who said she'd tell the kitchen as it sounded like someone was being heavy-handed with the salt. The pasta was also too salty and inedible. We let her know as well and she asked if we wanted to order something else instead. We did not, but that should've definitely been taken off of the bill. Most of it remained in the dish! The desserts were pretty good and nicely plated. Parking: Not sure as we ubered from the marina, but may need to find a nearby pay lot as it's downtown.

Yelp
Bourbon Steak is an excellent steak house that occupied where RN-74 used to be. I really loved that place and glad another great place is there. It is run by well-known chef Michael Mina and reflects that expertise. It is popular, so make sure to get reservations well in advance. Service was outstanding throughout the meal. The interior is typical for a nice steak house, great for romantic meals. It has a fantastic wine list where you can get a range of good wines. We had a nice Washington red. The appetizer selection is insane. You can do seafood, caviar, or some other great choices. We had salmon sashimi and pork belly. The sashimi was prepared in a unique way that was delicious with passion fruit and avocado. Then the pork belly was crazy good with a great glaze--I could have made a meal of that. For the main course, I had the boneless ribeye--then we got 4 oz of Wagyu to share. The steaks were just perfect--great cuts of beef and cooked just right. It is work it to try the Wagyu, really wonderful. For sides, we had broccoli and the truffle mac and cheese. The broccoli was nice and fresh, but the mac and cheese was decadent and just so good. Try to save room for dessert--even if just a bit. We split this S'more dish. This does not seem like a high end type dish, but this is absolutely worth trying. The chocolate is so good and the marshmallow ice cream works so well. Bourbon Steak is definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
Sleek steakhouse - new favorite! Beautiful steaks, excellent service, delicious cocktails - perfect for dates and group dinners! Have been here for both happy hour and dinners and have enjoyed an outstanding experience on all visits. Steaks are sourced well and done to perfection, especially recommend the Wagyu Rib Cap. Dinner menu features a handsome selection of specialty steaks including American Wagyu and independent farms on occasion. Dinner service starts with a complimentary trio of duck fat fries, a really nice touch from the house! Deconstructed lobster pot pie is served tableside and quite the experience - recommend for special occasions!

Yelp
Michael Mina changed out the space from a French Bistro (RN74) to Bourbon Steak. On a Tuesday night, the place was hopping so make a reservation. The amuse-bouche was a generous portion of duck fat fries with a truffle aioli. That's a great start to a meal! There's a great cocktail menu, or they'll come up with one based on your preference of spirit. The wine list is long, as you'd expect from a Mina steakhouse. The steak options showcased cuts like a tomahawk for those needed a more carnal experience. The wagyu cap was indulgent, but right-sized. The signature plates looked great. They come with sides. I went for the brick chicken. The spices were interesting, and the skin perfectly crisp. Sides were what you'd expect. All-in-all, a great steakhouse, with a couple of twists to make you choose it over a chain steakhouse.

Yelp
Bourbon Steak wrecked our Thanksgiving. We arrived to find a standing-room-only crowd in the foyer, and no staff present to manage customers. Once we'd finally connected with the host, we were led to the bar, which had no seats available. We were seated 35 minutes after we'd arrived, although that only happened because somebody senior on the restaurant staff (who had been taking amazing care of two people who came in after us) noticed the steam coming out of my ears. So, we got a table, but no water, napkins, or silverware -- we had to ask for everything. As in, after the soup was served, I had to ask for a spoon. I don't understand how the staff botched this evening so badly. The restaurant had required a credit card number to book a table, so they should have had a solid idea of how many customers to expect. They phoned me a day prior to re-confirm. The restaurant had announced a fixed/limited menu, so the kitchen's job was (presumably) manageable. Still, the service was a clown show. The waiter promised to bring items three times without following through. Speaking of the menu, the one on the table was different than the one published on the website when I booked our reservation. Three of the entrees (including the one I'd wanted) changed. Only one of two desserts remained. Bait and switch, at $105 per head? Wow. The biggest issue was the dismal pacing. We could have been in and out in an hour, but the service was incredibly slow. Our reservation was 7pm. The first course came at 7:40. Main course at 8:25. Dessert after 9pm. We didn't get out of there until 9:30. What should have been a special evening became an anxiety-filled waiting game. Will we get a table? What happened to our waiter? Is the food coming? Can we go home?! Over 2.5 hours, we'd run out of things to talk about other than how bad the service was. It was NOT FUN. The only bright spot in a meal I'd otherwise prefer to forget is that the food was mostly good. The squash soup was excellent. My son loved the steak. But I will never trust this place with a holiday or special meal.

Yelp
What an excellent experience to have a date nite/early anniversary dinner. We had a reservation and when we arrived our table wasn't quite ready so we headed to the bar (after checking our coats). Our table was ready in no time as we didn't even need to order anything from the bar as we were whisked to our table. The ambiance was top notch in the dining room. Our server was a pro. He was knowledgeable on the menu, had thoughtful recommendations and even surprised at the end with a glass of champagne for our anniversary. I order the Lobster Pot Pie and let me just say, it was more than just a dish, it was an experience. If you need a evening defining meal, then trust me when I tell you, get the Lobster Pot Pie. My wife had steak and well this is a steak house so you're going to love it. Her steak was cooked to perfection (medium) and we absolutely loved our Tuna Tartare. If you're looking for a fancy date night or perhaps a casual dinner with a flair of luxury then this is your spot. If you're driving, take advantage of the valet. We used a ride share and drop off and pick up was easy but would definitely would have used the valet if we drove our vehicle.

Yelp
I'm giving this place a 2 simply because our waiter was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and professional. Unfortunately the steaks we ordered were all under or over cooked, the sautéed mushrooms were undercooked. The s'more desert that we waited 40 mins for was the most disgusting thing we've eaten. It tasted bitter and burnet. The cheese cake was terrible.

Yelp
I really hate giving 1 star. The food is amazing. Our waiter was amazing. The interior was amazing. But when you are robbed inside the restaurant and the restaurant just doesn't care or do anything then you get 1 star. Our party of 9 spent almost $1,700 for dinner and one of our party had her wallet stolen from her purse while in the restaurant. We were told that they would receive the security footage within 24 hours. There has been no follow up from the restaurant to the victim. Over $10K was charged by the thief before the cards could be cancelled. There was absolutely no sense of concern from the restaurant.

Yelp
The worst Thanksgiving meal ever! Half an hour wait for reservations made months ago, menu bait and switch as they didn't have numerous items listed on the price fixe menu on the website which could easily have been updated. Terrible service, dry food, will never come here again. What a shitshow for over $100.

Yelp
such a great steakhouse in seattle - just what i'd expect from a Michael Mina restaurant. the service is amazing and the food is even better - we got to try a ton of their dishes and everything was incredible. highlights: 1) the complimentary duck fat fries they bring out 2) the steak of course 3) hot stone wagyu 4) brussel sprouts 5) mashed potatoes 6) salad 7) creamed spinach the desserts were also so good - i especially loved the smashed smores and the basque cheesecake. overall, i would highly recommend this restaurant - i had such a great experience here!

Yelp
Matt was our guy. Place was an awesome stop during our walk through town. Very delicious eats and artisanal drinks. We only had light bites but from that I can tell everything was quality. We ordered the fry trio with handmade sauces, the garlic aioli and bbq was the best. We also did the fresh oysters and it was super yummy. Don't quite remember the drinks we ordered but they were so pretty and the best thing is the drink stays cold the whole time because they use a huge square shaped ice. My cousin likes whiskeys and the bartender was so good at listening to his type that he found him a new favorite Noah hill.

Yelp
Ambiance is good. Service is ok. Food is overrated and overpriced. We were sold on the lobster pot pie - although we were not told how much it actually was ($130) - and it was not much of a pot pie. I expected to dig into a full on pot pie, but that's not the case. It's deconstructed, which I didn't expect. They come table side with a whole presentation, open up the pot pie, and plate the insides. I would have liked to dig into the crust and eat it as a traditional pot pie. It wasn't what I was expecting and the lobster was skimpy It was really disappointing. For that price point, I would expect much more than what I got as a meal. You're paying mostly for the presentation. They also should have been more upfront about the cost when upselling this menu item. My husband had the rib eye, which he said was ok, but not memorable or remarkable, which you would expect for $75. We did really enjoy the burrata app and the mushrooms side dish. I had much higher expectations for this restaurant based on all of the positive reviews. Overall, we were really underwhelmed with our meal here. Tip: The fries are fried in duck fat. You can ask for a vegetarian version.

Yelp
While the food was good there were just too many mis-steps to give them a better rating from our experience. I can overlook the long waits between courses, but when items are missing and bill incorrectly charged it just soured the experience. Other reviews are great so hopefully this was just an isolated case. We enjoyed the duck fat fries as starters and the broiled red miso seafood platter was delicious (though we were missing some items). The truffle Mac and cheese was one of the best tasting Macaroni with shavings of black truffle. The brussel sprouts were a little overly sauced but still tasty. The steaks had a compound butter sauce and cooked nicely with a good sear. The black cod was good, but would stick with the steaks. As for dessert, the banana tart was wonderful while the s'more was too smokey. They also offer a togo popcorn when you leave but that wasn't the case for us and had to ask for it.
