Boston Icon Eastern Standard Opens in Fenway | Eater Boston

"A new luxury apartment tower on Beacon Street anchoring a larger six-acre, $1.3 billion mixed-use Fenway Center project, featuring roughly 20,000 square feet of retail at street level, two residential towers, forthcoming office and lab space, and a landscaped, pedestrian-friendly deck spanning the Mass Pike with transit access. Developed by Meredith Management with partners focused on housing and life-sciences real estate, the project represents a major investment in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood and provides prominent new storefront and skyline-facing opportunities for restaurateurs." - Jacqueline Cain

The Cocktail Legend Behind Eastern Standard Is Bringing a New Bar to Fenway | Eater Boston

"A Jackson Cannon–led cocktail bar planned for Fenway as part of the Bower development at 771 and 775 Beacon Street, slated to open in late spring 2023. With few public details yet, the project was previewed through an October pop-up series at a Leather District speakeasy where Cannon tested recipes: highlights included an “everything” margarita made with bagel-spiced agave and an espresso martini built with regional Allen’s coffee brandy (served without whole beans)." - Erika Adams

Eastern Standard Owner Garrett Harker to Open Four New Kenmore Square Restaurants | Eater Boston

"Located at 771 and 775 Beacon Street on the edge of Kenmore Square, the mixed-use development Bower announced that Harker will open four food and beverage venues there by early 2023, spanning about 20,000 square feet and including three-season outdoor seating that sounds reminiscent of Eastern Standard’s popular covered patio." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

A good friend of mine moved into the Bower, I visited her twice. There are several lounges for communal use. As well as a kitchen on the top floor with a view of the city. In addition, on the rooftop had several lounges with music, fire pit, grill and TV's. The pool which is also on the roof is a highlight. We often went to a large lounge to watch baseball and had a good time. The rent I found relatively high, but I think it always depends on how much you want to spend on living expenses. Anyway, it is very safe with its own concierge and they have made a lot of effort to build and maintain it.

It took me a long time to decide to move to Bower. Because most of Greystar's apartments had bad reviews from people, so my husband didn't want to choose Bower as our home. There were many bad reviews that the Property Office staff and the Maintenance team did not handle the work on time and did not do it properly. From my experience, it is not true, at least at Bower. We have a really good maintenance team. This is a brand new apartmemmt. New constructed apartments usually have some problems at the beginning. There are still some issues in my apartment as well, however, Eric is doing his best to solve the issues. He is very thoughtful. Thank you, Eric! I also want to express my gratitude to our Leasing Office, especilly Von. I've asked him so many questions before move-in, and I'm still asking many questions. Von always gives a quick answer. Besides, whenever I visit our leasing office, all the staff members welcome me with a smile. Thank you, Von, Chris, Katt, and Courtney!! :)

Lived in Bower for 3 years and could not recommend this building more. Von and the entire Bower team are extremely professional, friendly, and very quick to respond when a question comes up. The building has the best amenities in the city, with a great gym, lounge, and two rooftops with amazing views. Thank you Bower!

There is constant construction with no notice given. They close amenities with no notice. The building is completely overrun by undergrad students. Amenities don't work. The building only cares about getting as much money from their tenants as possible and catering to Eastern Standard, whose guests are incredibly disruptive and leave cigarettes in front of all of the entrances. I would not recommend this building unless you want to live in a glorified dorm. I can't wait to move out of this building and live somewhere without construction, college kids and useless front desk workers. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Absolutely do not rent this apartment. It has been five months since I moved out, and I still have not received my security deposit. The management is completely unresponsive and negligent, showing zero effort in resolving the issue. I have had to take legal action just to get back what is rightfully mine. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this place.

The service was excellent. I had issues related to the drain in the washer. Bobby came in the same day and fixed it for me. He was very friendly and helpful.

I've been here for a year and I'm never going back to living in an unmanaged building!! Just no, I can't go back! I'm really busy with work and life (like everyone else) and Bower just makes it easier to live. They take the guess work out of home/life management. The people in the office are on top of their stuff, and I rarely have a reason to go there because I don't have problems like that. My online shopping habit even works because of how they keep the packages and give you notifications of the deliveries. The gym has beginner friendly classes too like barre and strength conditioning (pray for my leg days) and the roof deck is EVERTHING! There's always something fun going on and I think they do their best to make it feel like a community even during a pandemic. At the end of a busy day, I look forward to going home. I know it's clean, secure, and has what I need. It's the best place in Fenway to call home.

Moving to Bower was a great decision. The staff is incredibly nice! The concierge, leasing office, and maintenance team are always available when needed for questions or help. The building is kept in great condition and very well maintained every day. The location and rooftop views are also one of the best things of Bower!

Yelp
DON'T STAY HERE! The BOWER is a horrendous building. The staff is incompetent and the entire complex is essentially a construction zone. They have retail spaces that have been under construction for over a year. They are unable to keep any front desk staff and every month you meet someone new. The gym is never cleaned properly and the cleaning towels often run out. You are abusively kicked out of the lounge at 10 pm. The building has no community events even though they claim to when you sign up at the building. They say they don't rent to students but the building is filled with BU college undergraduate students. Oh and they test the fire alarm every couple of weeks. FYI there are speakers in every room of the apartments and they blare out a message and the alarm rings through them. Another one scheduled for tomorrow. This building is absolute hell to live in. The soda machine on the 14th floor is perpetually broken.
