Bramble & Brine at the Buttery

Our Bramble & Brine dining experience was most pleasurable, an oasis of sorts, where the friendliness of the entire crew, the decor, the food, the service, were all on point and allowed us to relax, enjoy and linger--a perfect storm of a good evening. My wife and I had an excellent pre dinner cocktail at the bar, which in itself is an inviting area. For dinner, we were not particularly hungry, so ordered a few appies: the Escargot, Crab Dip Skillet, and my favorite, the Soft Shell Crab Caesar salad, which gets a "Yum". All accompanied by a nice cabernet. As you might guess by now, loved the place. Cheers!

During our vacation in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, we discovered the charming town of Lewes and came across a truly special restaurant: Bramble & Brine at The Buttery. From the moment you step inside, you’re surrounded by vintage décor and a nostalgic, carefully curated ambiance. One detail that really stood out to me was the painting of the “Princess of Sicily,” which I had to stop and admire after reading about it in reviews. The whole setting feels both intimate and meaningful — the kind of place where history and hospitality blend seamlessly. 🍽️ Exceptional Food While the prices are on the higher side, the food makes it absolutely worth it. We ordered a few dishes recommended by the staff, and every one of them was outstanding: • Crab Cake – hands down one of the best I’ve had in a long time: flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully cooked. • French-style Oysters – fresh, elegant, and bursting with flavor. • Lamb – tender, rich, and simply unforgettable. Each plate showed great attention to detail and a level of craftsmanship that left us impressed. 🤝 Outstanding Service The service here is just as memorable as the food. The staff took time to patiently walk us through the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and frequently checked in to make sure the dishes suited our taste. Their warmth and attentiveness elevated the entire dining experience. 🌈 Inclusive & Welcoming Another highlight is the warm and inclusive atmosphere. The restaurant is proudly LGBTQ-friendly, which adds to the sense of openness and comfort. It feels like a space where everyone is welcome to enjoy a fine dining experience. In short, Bramble & Brine is a gem — historic, beautifully decorated, inclusive, with top-notch service and food that rivals some of the best I’ve ever tried. When I return to Rehoboth Beach, this will be at the top of my list to visit again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely worth the experience!

Bramble and Brine used to be my go to fine dining spot for a fancy date night or dinner for work. Servers were dressed in white shirts and khakis, crumbs were swept off the table, wine pairings were offered, food was packaged to go in the kitchen, and the table was cleared between courses. The service was always so amazing with such an attention to detail. When I recently revisited the restaurant however, I found the atmosphere and service has tremendously changed. While our server was still amazing, and was working with only one other person in the FOH, it simply wasn’t a fine dining experience. The only thing that hasn’t changed was of course the prices. While I would never usually complain over the service or atmosphere of the restaurant if you’re going to call yourself fine dining and charge adjacent prices, that experience must be upheld for the customers. The menus online will also almost never match what is being served. While I wasn’t able to have what had peaked my interest online, the food was all very good maybe just salted a bit too much to my taste.

Walking by on thanksgiving day I smelled something so delicious that I ended up circling back several times and finally giving up and committing to a salad and a glass of wine. I had a great time. The staff were fun, warm and welcoming, and the food was so delicious that I ended up coming back with a group for dinner the next day to taste more things. If you’re in town, definitely plan a dinner here!

Simply amazing! Everything from cocktails to dessert was beyond my expectations! We were a party of three and each dish was well prepared, well presented, and delicious! Staff was friendly and professional and knowledgeable about all things on the menu. Decor is outstanding and eclectic and very well done. Will definitely be back soon!

Beyond thrilled this restaurant has come back!! Cheers to the owner & entire staff, special appreciation to David our server who clearly takes his role seriously & demonstrates a sincere interest in the guest he servers. He is well versed on the menu items, confident in his recommendations & suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious-bravo to the chef in their use of creativity-sauces on all dishes were worth bottling up and selling! The ambiance of this restaurant is one to be admired-wishing to come back and dine over and over with the hope to experience each different nook/room. The care and respect shown to the internal and external areas adds to the elevated experience for those who work here & dine here. Not my first and not my last! I cant recommend enough that if you want the ultimate fine dining experience then you must request David to be your server. From the warm sincere greeting at the door to the “come back and see us again” the whole ambiance is just fabulous! I love the old Victorian house, especially the dishes, pony glasses, and outdoor seating. I always get treated with special touches and this time didn’t disappoint. Chef Paul and his team made me a special appetizer of Fried green tomatoes with fresh crab cake in a sauce that was to die for. Tried some new signature cocktails from Kiki at the bar… Bramble Lemonade and the Blood Orange Margarita also no disappointment there! Fresh fish of the day was Atlantic Salmon with house made ratatouille and roasted potatoes. Always end with a chocolate heaven cake. Food was just fabulous!!!

Bramble and Brine at The Buttety was the perfect location for a small brunch baby shower. David and his team were absolutely amazing! They were very attentive and accommodating to all request. The atmosphere was very elegant and simplistic at the same time which required very few decorations.

We celebrated an Anniversary at Bramble and Brine.It was a good experience and pleasantly different from a Delaware beach experience. Good menu options and a neat old house with lots of history!

What a lovely dining experience in this beach town in Lewes, De. The service was excellent, Jack was so kind and helpful and made the dining the much better. The food was delish and I believe they have menu changes, not sure how often. I loved the limited selection which is probably why each dish was so good. We decided to order multiple starters and share them for our meal. The drinks were good and they can make anything outside what's listed. The restaurant looks like a house with many dining rooms. I recommend if you're planning to be in the area to make a reservation, as they book up. The town has lovely shops you can walk around before or after your dining. There is outdoor seating available as well.

I really wanted to love Bramble & Brine, it's been on my list for a while! The ambiance is lovely and the cocktail I had was genuinely great - but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. We were the second table seated for the evening, yet somehow items were already unavailable, which felt odd and disappointing right off the bat. Then came the wait... and wow, did we wait. For how few diners were there, the kitchen moved at a glacial pace. When the food finally arrived, it was a letdown across the board. Cold and completely lacking in flavor. Honestly, every dish at our table could have been sent back, and only one of us actually did. It's rare for a group to feel so uniformly underwhelmed, but this was unfortunately one of those nights. They did offer to buy us dessert but we just wanted to get out of there by the time the offer rolled around. The service was polite but clearly struggling, and I can't help but feel like we were forgotten most of the time even though there was no other tables seated inside while we were there. Bramble & Brine might be known for its charm, but unless things change in the kitchen, I can't recommend it for the dining experience. For the upscale prices they are offering to diners, the experience needs to be on par every single time, no excuses. Go for a drink at the pony bar and make dinner plans elsewhere down the street!

Very good. Overall we had an enjoyable experience. The food was all great and we had no complaints about anything we had. The service was good as well and our waitress was very kind and apologetic about the heat in the restaurant. The ambiance is where this place falls short. There is zero cohesion amongst the different areas of the restaurant with some being elegant and others giving sports bar. We were unfortunately seated in the bar area which was less than stellar. We would definitely give Bramble another shot as long as we were seated in a better location.

We frequent Lewes a few times of year and always stop at the Bramble and Brine for dinner, drinks and their brunch, especially Mother's Day. We have to admit the last couple of visits for dinner have been off, but we've always enjoyed their brunch up until today at least. I'm not sure if ownership or management changed, as something was amiss. To put it simply, today's brunch was a disgrace. Menu had completely changed from previous visits. Ok, that can happen. Our group was looking forward to the crab Benedict but we decided to try the quiche Benedict with crab as an alternative. Cost was $42, a bit pricey but it was Mother's Day. The dish served was unworthy of a brunch dish, nevertheless a dish from what we'd expect from Bramble and Brine. The blistered tomatoes were cold, obviously not made fresh and most importantly, how can an establishment such as this charge $42 for an entree served with tater tots?!?! We were stunned. It was an unsatisfactory experience and unfortunately will be our last. As I said, not sure if ownership/management changed but this place seems to be on a decline..

One of the biggest differences in what we expected vs. what we actually got in a long time- this place is beautiful and looks so inviting but was truly one of our worst service experiences in a long time. We had a negative experience truly from the minute we walked in- the hostess seemed really disorganized, led us over to a table set for four when we were a party of five, and had absolutely no idea where or how to seat us when we pointed this out. We were sent over to the bar to wait and could see her having an extremely animated conversation with the manager in the other room (he was gesticulating a lot and looked pretty angry). The bartender was not welcoming and treated us like an inconvenience for waiting there. There were literally three other patrons at the bar and we were standing at the end so that we would not block seats for anyone. We were finally seated after about 10 minutes, and the server in our section proceeded to completely ignore us for another 10-15 minutes. As in, we saw him providing prompt and attentive service to every other table, including a table of six that was seated several minutes after us, and he would literally look at our table and walk right past. The restaurant was not full, so I have no idea why he refused to serve us- it would have gone a long way if he had just stopped by and explained whatever the problem was and said he'd come back to us shortly. But he literally never did. The only time we ever saw him was when he unhelpfully came over to clear plates immediately after we finished eating. At this point, we were extremely hungry and just hoping to be served, so we finally flagged down another server, Sarah, who proceeded to help our table the entire time. Sarah gave us fantastic service and was so kind and attentive. I am giving this restaurant two stars for her and because some of the food was very good- we really liked the chicken salad BLT waffle sandwich (which was so unique), and the starters are excellent, we loved the mini muffin board and the cheddar biscuits. But we also had some serious issues with our other food- for example, two of the three eggs Benedicts we ordered were overcooked and did not have runny yolks. Sarah was amazing and the only bright spot in the experience- I really hope she stays because the rest of the staff really needs help. In addition to the visibly angry manager, we saw the server who ignored us criticizing Sarah for taking on another table he was ignoring (and doing this in the middle of the dining room, which was crazy- not that he should be criticizing someone else for his own poor service anywhere). And the hostess said absolutely nothing to us on the way out. Even if this was the best food we'd had in Lewes (it isn't), we would not come back here.

This restaurant has plenty of old time charm. Once seated comfortably, you can browse through their menu which has something for everyone to enjoy for brunch. Our table of four had some unique brunch drinks. They also serve a few varieties of sweet lemonade. There aren't many tables, so the service is specialized to make suggestions and return visits to your table for any need of your group. Make reservations.

I was impressed with the service, the waitress was excellent. Of course the atmosphere was enjoyable as always. The food was good but not what I wanted and highly over priced. I went on line to view the menu and was excited for the choices but when I arrived was informed that that menu was incorrect and they could not change it. The new menu was not the class food I wanted to eat. I was hoping for Grilled Lollipops but most of their dinner options were fried and I don't eat fried food. So I ordered a seafood pasta dish for $44. This was just the pasta dish, no salad, no bread. I asked if I could get side salad which they don't offer but she did accommodate by giving me Caesar salad without the oyster which cost $16. If you are looking for the high quality food offered by the Buttery you will be disappointed. The seafood pasta was good but not worth the cost.

Food was good but very expensive (it's a beach town so I expect that) and they didn't bring my drink until I was finishing my meal so I didn't even have time to drink it. They have no changing table available so I had to change my 1 yr old on a gross tile floor. If I'm spending $270 for dinner with the family then it's really not ok to change my baby on a tile bathroom floor (or for any price point really, but especially at a nice restaurant I would expect more.)

Amazing food and service! We had our Valentine's Day dinner here and we were so happy we picked Bramble and Brine, it was our first time dining here. Our server Evan had great recommendations, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I requested an off menu drink and the bartender even came to check if I was happy with it(I've never had a bartender check on my drink before), drink was fabulous! The side for one of our entrees was no longer available and the sous chef came to check if we were ok with substitutions and explained what she could make instead. The manager was also extremely friendly and let us know the owner actually owns a few more restaurants in Rehoboth, she made sure the room temperature was ok for us. All of the staff we interacted with were very professional and welcoming. All of our dishes were amazing, the crab dip appetizer had actual crab and was so tasty! The seafood mac and cheese and Rockfish dishes were amazing. I was so sad when I realized I forgot my leftover Mac and cheese at the restaurant, it had lots of shrimp, lobster and crab, the pasta noodle they picked was amazing. Portions were large. We had white cake for dessert and it was really good. They have French background music playing and cute decor. The whole dinner was very special and we left happy and full. The place is pricey so be sure to check the menu prices beforehand if you're on a budget, you're looking at around $70 per person minimum if you're getting a drink, appetizer and entree. Well worth it in my opinion, def recommend.

We had a delightful brunch at Bramble and Brine a few weeks ago! Will absolutely return. Housed in a sunny and charming old home, the restaurant has an inviting and gracious character, accented with some lovely antiques and eclectic decor pieces. The brunch menu is inviting - I wanted to try very nearly every item on it! I settled on the lobster Benedict and gave no regrets. Good coffee and fresh-tasting orange juice rounded out the meal. Service was friendly albeit a little slow - allow a little extra time and you'll be fine. Recommended!

Three of us had dinner at Bramble & Brine tonight. We were all very happy with the food and service. Salmon and Crab Cake entrees were excellent.

Bramble and Brine did not disappoint. The food was service was quality and fresh. This ambience was friendly and quaint. We had the bacon deviled eggs, crab cake, and skillet. You have to try the Bloody Mary. It had just the right amount of spice. Looking forward to returning.

This place is amazing. Love the ambiance and the food. The escargot was a little gritty. Need to clean them better but everything else was amazing.

Such an adorable find! Visiting from Ca and the best place in DE! Great food and atmosphere. David ( fellow Californian) was lovely and welcoming! Love when the chef comes out too! Definitely recommend!

According to website, this place is open for lunch and dinner every day except Tuesday and Wednesday. Four of us went there for lunch on Thursday at 12:30 and they were closed. No sign on door. Called later and the lady said they are only open for dinner. We were quite annoyed but then walked to Nectar and had a great lunch there. Told her they need to change hours on their website!

Sat at the bar for happy hour. Our bartender Kelly was phenomenal and gave us a lot of helpful drink recommendations, the history of the restaurant and the recent updates such as adding a breakfast and lunch menu. Each area of the restaurant is filled with unique design and decor, giving a different vibe with every room making it perfect for any occasion. At the bar, we enjoyed a sweet espresso martini and snozberrie on tap along with a berry thyme smash and rose windsor. Along with the drinks, we ordered the chicken salad dip which paired perfectly. Our visit exceeded expectations and we are looking forward to visiting for breakfast next time we are in town!

First I have to say I've learned if you are celebrating and reservation asks tell it. Here we were for our anniversary and you,get two free champagnes and we got a balloon ! Buttery was our family fave for years and the inside is too jazzed up for me. Bathroom was exactly the same as before Beautiful night so we ate very privately on the porch . Starter we shared a smoked salmon with the best breadstick (grissini) I've ever had! I had the paella which was excellent and brought home enough for dinner for two. Hubs had scallops he loved served with a ton of cauliflower which he did not. Shared an awesome chocolate dessert with our champagne. Service was impeccable.

Crab au grautin. Got the coquilles st Jacques (scallops). So good! taking like French onion scallops. Very pricey but good quality food. It's a fun experience if you want to celebrate something special. Very kind French waitress. Cute pet parrot and pigeon inside.

Had an amazing experience here. The whole staff was accommodating and our server, David, took such good care of us and made our experience at Bramble and Brine unforgettable. Delicious food, cocktails and lovely bartenders. Will be back!

Great atmosphere and food. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and both bartenders were very personable. Our meals were very good. I ordered the scallops, which came with some outstanding lemon dusted cauliflower. Our server was very efficient and friendly.

The only reason we went to this restaurant was because we had been given a gift certificate and frankly that was the only reason we stayed through the meal. Off the bat service was incredibly slow and we were frequently forgotten about. Pretty much every time the server did come to the table he said "sorry about the wait." Our main gripes were with the menu. It is extremely petite and like 85% seafood. That would be fine if it was an established seafood restaurant but it is not. Overall, what we got was fine but not worth the price and I would NEVER go back and spend my hard earned money there.

Friends and I visited Bramble and Brine and had an exceptional experience! The charming Victorian home is the perfect setting for a fine dining experience. Our server David exudes kindness and takes great pride in providing his customers with the kind of service you won't forget. He made some great recommendations for food and wine. We tried many dishes on the menu, some of my favorites were the risotto, the crab dip, Meg's Meatloaf Wellington and the Coquilles St Jacque's. The food was fantastic but I can honestly say that David left a lasting impression on all of us! We then moved onto the bar area where the bartenders showed artistic skills in their craft. We enjoyed Peanut Butter & Kelly shots and an Absinthe cocktail that is unforgettable! Unfortunately some of us can't quite remember the whole evening! If you're visiting Lewes anytime soon, Bramble and Brine is a MUST!

This place is so charming, we've made it a point to come every time we visit lewes. The food is delish, they added tacos to their menu and both the shrimp and pork were 10/10. The cocktails are amazing, it's clear the bartender knows how to make a good drink! And the service is wonderful. David was so kind and patient with our family this evening, he is a true gem.

Made it back to Lewes for a few days and had to visit B&B. I was alone and didn't have a reservation. I came at a very busy time on Saturday so decided to sit at the outside bar and eat. Kiki my server at the bar was so attentive and really made me feel at home. Super sweet personality. I ordered the bramble salad. The hand cooked cheese croutons melt in your mouth and the blackberry dressing is to die for. I love the little pony water glasses. I'll have to keep coming back to try the other amazing options on the menu. It's hard to choose! My new favorite place.

Great service, knowledgeable and attentive staff. The drinks and desserts were sublime. It's also one of the few place in downtown lewes that's open beyond 9pm. Highly recommend for all meals!

We stopped here for dinner on a busy Saturday evening . Recommend you make a reservation this is a popular spot in downtown Lewes. Comfortable restaurant with a small menu French inspired. We started with the peach burrata salad.... The salad came out looking beautiful with an orchid garnish which felt out of place since the salad looked so nice as it was. For entrees we ordered were the meatloaf Wellington. Interesting choice the meatloaf was seasoned well but covered in a rich brown gravy had I known I would ask for sauce on the side. Although it was good was over doused with gravy. It was served on mashed potatoes and with asparagus. We also got the crab cake entree which was underwhelming. The crab cake was served with pee wee potato and green beans. It was ok not great. We also opted for the chicken cordon bleu. Was a large portion of chicken stuffed with ham and cheese served with a savory sauce. Everything was we also had two delicious spicy martinis and a pink drink vodka based with a rock candy garnish. The drinks were spot on booze forward and cold. We also decided to split two desserts at the recommendation of the waiter. We have in to the peanut butter pie, and the white cake that was reminiscent of a white wedding cake. The cake we weren't enamored with as was described we would be. A traditional wedding cake has an almond flavoring which this lacked. It was good not great. All in all nice night great attentive service. Food arrived to table warm and timely. Drinks spot on. Drinks, One app, dinner, and dessert 325. All in with gratuity. This is a special dinner spot based price point but still try.

It's been awhile since I've experienced a 5 star meal and service. We had a friendly hostess (don't recall her name) and an amazing waitress named Lola. She made our dining experience so fun. We went in around 8:30pm on a Friday and I am blown away by the amazing drinks and food even that late in the day (late shift - tired workers? But that's not the case here). Started off with drinks: perfect martini and grapefruit crush and boy did they make them perfect and crushed it! We also ordered a bunch of apps instead of full meals which Lola did not flinch at (I find some nice establishments shy away from and even judge on this) but I'm so glad we did. Had a bit of everything from the chicken fried fried tomatoes, Chesapeake oyster stew, clam casino empanada, and highly recommend and MUST order the seasonal biscuits - our batch tasted almost as good as ones I've had in the south. The food and atmosphere especially with the southern charm of the outside patio area where we sat reminded me of my visits to Savannah - the southern hospitality of the staff were great too! (Try and wear some bug spray in case - got bit quite a lot which is expected sitting outdoors but being closer to the water/bay could also not help too). We finished off dessert with cake - our waitress jumped on this one and said she'd want her wedding cake to be this very dessert. Personally I found the amount of soft whipped icing (actually not too sweet) a bit too much for my own liking but I could see why other people love it. I can't wait to come back to try more!! (I just went to Heirloom and I'll be honest - I liked the light, fun atmosphere of B&B more!)

Eight of us dined at B&B for Thanksgiving. The service was excellent and most entrees were extremely if not extraordinary well prepared. With that said, $55 for each entrees was over priced by about $20 per entree. Salads priced at $16/18 were well worth it. Cocktails at $18 were also worth it. But B&B should be ashamed to charge $20 for a little more than a shot of Tawny 20 yo port. This is not NYC. Would I go back. ......maybe.

This restaurant is right near the ferry terminal-in Lewis-food is amazing-had a ratatoulle omlethey can make stuff gluten free. Great jazz music and cool antique building. Noteworthy good- service is spot on.

We came during the soft opening over the 2021-22 winter holiday season. Thus, this review is partially based upon expectations. The atmosphere was awesome. The service was friendly, conscientious, and helpful, but a bit harried. Please note, however, that they were likely understaffed and working through the kinks. This was the winter of the 'great resignation' and Delta and Omicron surges during their soft opening after all!! The food and wine impressed. I can't wait to come back when we get back to the Delaware beaches.

Lived in Lewes for 18 years and finally visited Bramble & Brine for our anniversary. Overall superb. Cheeseboard was savory & sweet. Cocktails well done. Fish of the day was a thick moist tasty rockfish rockfish filet over asparagus and I had Coquilles St. Jacques, scallops in a savory mushroom/onion sauce with crispy cauliflower. We had room for dessert so we both had the carrot cake/cheesecake (layers of carrot cake, cheesecake, & (I think) buttercream frosting. We would have had coffee with dessert but it was our anniversary so dry champagne was our choice. You cannot go wrong here but you will definitely need reservations way ahead of time.

$140.00 for fancy diner food. Had a table right on top of the waiter station. The whole staff kept zooming around our table. Staff was very polite. The room was painted like a circus tent. (Hate pink.) Not good atmosphere for a restaurant. The biscuits were great! My wifes scallops, (all 5,) were good. But I dont think she remembers eating them they disappeared so fast! TINY. The cesars salad was loaded with vinegar and 3 whole croutons. My meatloaf, yes meatloaf, was in a pie dough. THEY GAVE IT A FANCY NAME. Wellington. I have had wellington. Have had some of the best! This was a meat pie. So boring and so dry. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

The food was beautiful and tasted so good. The wait staff was wonderful and knowledgeable about the selections.

Great service! We were able to sit on the patio with our dogs. Food was good. We got the drunken noodles and pulled pork. Both were good not great but the service was so good!

When you walk into Bramble & Brine, you expect a great meal you are going to recommend to others because it isn't just a meal, but rather an experience. Unfortunately, that just simply isn't the case. I will refrain from any personal criticisms of the staff, but simply put they are unpleasant. My biggest issue was with the food. Each appetizer is priced at $22. Yes, even the chilled peach soup, which was the better part of our meal, notwithstanding being overly acidic and lacking any real peach taste. Each entree is priced at $44, which is ridiculous for what we were served. While I was excited to see 4 scallops on my plate, they were overcooked and shrunk to the size of a nickel. They were dry in spite of swimming in a cream sauce that took center stage of the dish, making it my second soup of the night basically. There was so much salt in that sauce I nearly asked the waitress to go out back and avail my mouth of their garden hose. If you're going to cook scallops for customers, it is best that you know how to cook them, particularly if you are going to charge customers nearly $50 an entree. Do yourself a favor and go to any other restaurant in town, even Dairy Queen.

We just had an amazing dinner at Bramble and Brine in Lewes. I highly recommend this restaurant as well as La Fable where we have been before. Dave, our waiter at Bramble and Brine was also awesome. We came from Dover to have dinner with my brother visiting from Hawaii. The evening was great thanks to a delicious dinner and great staff. We'll definitely be back.

Dinner is promoted as fine dining but the experience is odd. The waitress hovered uncomfortably and the adjacent bar (also B&B) blared country rock and TV. The beets in the salad were extremely pickled and the curly lettuce was all just finely chopped stems, no goat cheese in sight. The scallops were gritty and had a funk that was worrisome and probably not noticeable by the kitchen for all the thick sauces on everything. Just really overdone and underwhelming -ask the biscuits for less ? Seems like the current crazy schism bled into this old reliable charming spot. Too bad.

This place is a pretentious setup with decent service and iffy food. They will take the food back if you have issues with it but the second attempt still leaves a lot to be desired. Nice location and ambience but the cook should not pretend to be a french or European or whatever kinda chef. It is a hit or miss and mostly a miss for our orders.

Our server, Kiss, was the only professional thing about this restaurant. Quaint, Victorian ambiance, delicious sandwiches, but the music screaming from the bar and the staff congregating in the dining room and talking loudly on the phone ruined it all for us.

My favorite dinner place in Lewes. Everything on the menu is great. And they are flexible if you want to change something because of dietary needs which not every restaurant in Lewes does, especially LEH. The menu here is EXCELLENT.

Victorian themed interior is lovely. Service was attentive and friendly. The Autumn Gnocchi was exquisite! It was so flavorful and light. The flower garnish was gorgeous and tasty. My partner had the Rockfish and was also delighted. Great craft beer selection.

We have been looking for the right time to try out B&B and we managed to get an early-is reservation for Valentine's day. We had a memorable meal. We had Arancini, Scallops and Eggplant, all perfectly prepared. The wine list is short and good, which we prefer. Servings were plentiful. The setting is an old house but with interesting enclosed porch space making it feel like you're sitting on a pretty street corner. The building needed a lot of work as it had gotten ratty under prior ownership. They did a nice job keeping it quaint and natural looking. I understand why they include "at the Buttery" in the name -- to help people find it, and to appeal to folks who have a 5+ year history in the area. But I hope they will drop that association. This is a much better restaurant than the Buttery was in its last years. It's great to have another stellar restaurant in town.

This beautiful location has such an old historic charming feel. We sat at the bar for a late night Lewes drink and snack. The bartender was so nice and the food was delicious. We order the beet salad, brussels sprouts, and sweet potato rolls. Presentation was amazing

We enjoyed a wonderful visit to Bramble and Brine. The menu was interesting and each dish was beautifully prepared. The presentation was beautiful. What really made our visit memorable was our server, David. David hosted us from beginning to end. He was warm and welcoming, sharing recommendations on the menu selections. He suggested a homemade lemonade as a non alcoholic option when I casually mentioned that I cannot drink. He stuck the perfect balance of being present but not intrusive, making recommendations without being pushy, attentive but not hovering. At the conclusion of our meal, he presented the check and invited us to return. He made the meal an evening event. I am sure that we will return! Thank you, David!

Food, service, and ambience all excellent. I have eaten at the restaraunt for many years. Best meal there in years.

Our family just recently heard wonderful things about Bramble and Brine, so we decided we had to try it. Wow! The cocktails fresh and creative, innovative food and detailed fantastic service. What a jewel box at the beach! Natalie our server is delightful and from Nice France! Her knowledge of the menu and suggestions were spot on. Thank you Bramble and Brine for a wonderful night! We will definitely be back soon! ps: you won't regret the Meatloaf, Scallops, Escargot and Chicken Cordon Blue!!
