On the Grid : Bramhall

"Located in one of the most historic areas of Portland, Bramhall still conjures the sense of escapism and sanctuary it was during the prohibition era. Between the brick and stone, lit candles, and large selection of bourbon and rum, Bramhall is a must see. Bonus, if you enjoy bluegrass there is a live local band playing most weeks." - Mainelyseo

15 Best Bars in Portland, Maine | Condé Nast Traveler

"After sitting dormant for years, The Bramhall was revived in 2014 to great success. Inside, though there's a decent array of beers on draught and a good wine selection, the emphasis is on the cocktails. StStylistically they range from the somewhat outlandish (a combination of brown butter–washed rye, coconut, lime, and pineapple), to the more austere (bourbon, Carpano Antica, black tea tincture, and smoked rosemary)." - Joe Ricchio

14 of Portland’s Most Essential Bars | Eater Maine

"This longtime neighborhood favorite got an extensive facelift under new ownership in 2014. While there’s now speciality cocktails and a menu of pub food, the spirit of the old Bramhall still remains with its speakeasy vibe and regular Jerks of Grass gigs." - Kate McCarty

All brick walls in the basement and what appears to be an old hotel. With the charm of a old speakeasy, the sling delicious cocktails. Food was on the smaller portion side, but tasty. Burgers come with a salad but you can upgrade to a couple different options of fries for a modest price of $2-4. But you only get a couple fries that was my only complaint w the food. I also have to agree that the service was lackluster and a little disappointing. The person that served us was unfriendly, curt, and almost rude. The bar wasn't busy and yet it took a very long time to get our drinks. This was mostly disappointing because I saw her just standing around. Might give it another try

Google
Super super cool joint. It’s a real hole in the wall. The vibes are good and the music is excellent. I got there around 10 PM for food and they said because of a kitchen staff shortage, the only food they can do is a smash burger and fries, which threw me off guard because the online menu says they have more options. Thankfully, the burger was good, and the truffle fries were killer. I’d come back for sure.

Google
Popped in here as it was right down the road from my Airbnb and absolutely fell in love. The atmosphere was incredible, great service, and the steak frites with the garlic butter on top was insanely good. Definitely wish this place was closer to home. Highly suggest adding this to your list of Portland’s must visits

We live in the neighborhood — less than a ten-minute walk — and we want to love this bar. It has a great speakeasy vibe, the drinks are solid, and while the food is a bit overpriced for what it is, the menu is decent overall. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. But the service has been consistently disappointing. As a former server myself, I understand the job isn’t always easy — but our last two visits, including one just this past Friday night (July 11th around 9 PM), have left us genuinely frustrated. We came in with a group of six, planning to stay for a few rounds and enjoy our night. At the start of the visit, one of our friends asked our server what kinds of whisky they had. Instead of offering any suggestions or checking, she told him to go look at the bar himself. That’s not how hospitality should work. Later, we ordered a second round of drinks. The bar wasn’t busy, but the drinks never came. After about 25 minutes, we saw our server and asked about them — she told us they’d be right up. At that point, we just canceled the order and asked for the check. To top it off, a 20% gratuity was automatically added because of our party size. Normally I fully support that and probably leave more — good service should be tipped well. But in this case, the service didn’t merit it, and we felt stuck. This bar is so close to home, and we’d love to be regulars. But repeated service issues have made it hard to justify coming back.

Step into Bramhall and be transported to a cozy, dimly lit speakeasy. The atmosphere is perfect for an intimate night out or a fun gathering with friends. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, and the drink menu is impressive, featuring a wide array of bourbons and rums. Don't miss out on their delicious burgers – a perfect complement to your favorite cocktail. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Bramhall offers an unforgettable escape from the ordinary.

Google
Visited on a Tuesday for their burger/beer/whiskey special. The burger was pretty decent, along with the fries. We also ordered some chicken wings at the end, the sauce was good, but the wings could've been crispier. What stood out to be the most were the cocktails! I got to try two of them, and they were both so elegant and balanced. It was a good time :)

Google
We went for late night food and drinks at 10:40 PM after a concert. It took until midnight for drinks to arrive, and only to be told that the food we had ordered was actually out and that the kitchen had closed. We were then still charged for these drinks that arrived 80 minutes after ordering. This place isn’t worth your time or money. I recommend avoiding this place in favor of the other restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance that are open just as late.

Very atmospheric basement bar. Cocktails were fancy and delicious. Venue was the same

Yelp
I came in on a Sunday night for a quick dinner. I was able to get a seat at the bar. Hot tip, there is trivia on Sundays if you're into that! It was fun to listen and seems like there are a lot of regulars. I ordered the smashburger and fries and they were on point. Fries are hand cut and the burger was the perfect amount of greasy. I also got a cucumber mocktail that was very tasty!

Yelp
Came here for after dinner drinks with some friends. We sat outside in the back area and it got pretty crowded. The person helping us seemed to be very overwhelmed with all the people that were in the back area. I and another friend got mocktails and our other friends got real drinks. The inside of this bar is cool but kinda scary feeling. Feels like you are in a basement or a dungeon. It's dimly lit in the inside area. And has candles in the middle of the place with wax dripping down. The bathroom is kinda spooky too. And the sink you have to use a pedal and I could not figure out for the life of me how to get colder water to wash my hands. The water was super hot. I may want to come back here and try an actual drink and maybe experience the inside atmosphere. This bar is below and the restaurant called Roma Cafe.

Yelp
Ambiance is crazy fun. Almost like a speakeasy- in the basement. A Happy Meal is a domestic beer and a well liquor shot.
google avatar

Yelp
I thot the drinks here were alright! I got the banana sidecar, which was p good but not my fav (also i need to stop getting bourbon cocktails and this is a reminder to myself to do that)

Yelp
Terrible service last Sunday night. Me and my party of 4 were all off put by our server. We sat outside and ordered a round of cocktails. When the server brought out the tray of drinks my espresso martini severely spilled (no exaggeration I lost a 1/3 of it). All the server said was "ooo messy" as he handed it to me. No apology, no clean up, no offer to get me a full drink. When the server came by we had to ask for napkins to clean up the mess he handed us. Also had to ask for water. The inside of the bar looks great & maybe if you sit directly at the bar you can enjoy the craft the bartenders work so hard to make. Real bummer cuz I love a good speakeasy.

Yelp
Really good late night menu. We got the smash burgers, garlic Parmesan wings, fries and the waiter gave us a complimentary dessert which was so sweet! I loved the dark lit room, kind of vibes Game of Thrones vibes. The music was really good as well!
google avatar

Yelp
If I lived in Portland, Bramhall would definitely be my haunt. Shotgun review: - Seriously neat interior* - Cheerful staff - Reasonably priced cocktails - Live Laugh Late Nite food menu with good fries - Rotating drink specials - Excellent music** *The pictures speak for themselves. It feels medieval & dark & exciting & punk & cool & mysterious all at the same time. I also loved some of the smaller unique features like the pedal operated sink. **I like to think of myself as the human Shazam. I have a ridiculously large catalogue of music in my brain (that music degree was good for something, right?) but I found myself not knowing quite a few songs that were playing in Bramhall that I really wanted to know. I even brought out the actual Shazam to find out. Whoever was on the aux was killing it - Cool, modern music that heightened the punk feel of the bar without taking away from the archaic vibe.

Yelp
If Bramhall has no fans, I'm dead. When I responded "My favorite bar, actually--it's sort of like a medieval dungeon--but in a good way," to my neighbors asking me where I had just come back from on a Friday night, it sure raised some eyebrows. Let me explain. Bramhall is located out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Congress Street just below Roma Cafe (another diamond in the rough). Just down a short flight of worn down stone steps lies a subterranean speakeasy perfect for bibliophiles, those who prefer their coffee black and their whiskey neat, and people (such as myself) who prefer to enjoy a few cocktails under the cover of darkness, add a touch of candlelight. Blyth and Burrow's quieter (in my opinion, better) cousin, Bramhall has a small menu that is seemingly endless and somehow contains all of my favorite foods and drinks. At this point, the amount of times I've ordered Rickety Cricket (think: if a Thin Mint and the Cookie Monster had a baby, and that baby was liquified and poured into a glass I am proud to post on Instagram) is frankly embarrassing. The Hemingway Daiquiri is also worth a try. I would speak to their other drinks, but the grip that Rickety Cricket has on me is unreal and must be the work of witchcraft. Speaking of witchy, Bramhall's staff are my favorite--they all have an inherent suaveness and 'coolness' about them that can only be described as Salem-chic. Not to mention, they are incredibly attentive and thoughtful. One of the servers offered to put in my food order before the kitchen even opened, just because. My go-tos are the Hand Cut Fries (Truffle Style) and Mac n' Cheese. Truly the perfect pairings and portions to accompany my cocktails! The interior is expertly done. A mixture of brick and stone walls are lined with half-melted candles and industrial pendant lights. Harry Potter fans: I find it to be reminiscent of Diagon Alley. Long live Bramhall!!

Yelp
We stopped in the late afternoon just for drinks, and I wish I had time on the trip to return for some food. The place is dark, but as other reviews mention, in a good speakeasy vibe way. They have a good selection of whiskeys and bourbons. The bartenders were welcoming and had connections to Arizona, where I live! Their version of the black Manhattan and the boulevardier were a perfect welcome to Portland. I hope to return.

Ross G.

Yelp
Outstanding burger, but I have to separate Bramhall into the "Good" category instead of "Great" primarily because the burger was practically the *only* item we were able to order. Two other menu items our party had in mind were not available. An additional recommendation to the location -- vary your music. The volume was kicked up a notch, which itself is a non-issue for me, but it does get tiring if the genre of the soundtrack never deviates from the same late 2000s emo power punk. I'm sure this is all dependent on the crew working at any given point, and this is my own personal taste -- I wasn't crazy about that music when I was in high school, and I'm still not crazy about it now. The actual bones of the building are super cool, though. I liked the space a lot.

Yelp
oof. This place has changed hands so many times, and unfortunately it's on another downswing. The food is ... bad. Like, bad. Don't waste your time. The bar manager was great, but he left! The turnover here is insane. Something has gotta be going wrong. I'll come for an overpriced beer and a Wednesday whiskey pour, but that's about it... oof.

Yelp
Good bar program, nice speak easy / dive atmosphere and the best fried cheese in town. The rest of the menu is good too. This is a very laidback spot to have drinks with friends and get some snacks. Never have done a full meal but I've ordered enough of the menu to know i could. It shares a kitchen with Roma cafe upstairs (which is also quite good) so the food is better than most dive bar faire.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place because the atmosphere, music and hostess were all terrific, but the bartender ruined it. No one was behind the bar for a while when we first sat down. After finally bringing our drinks, the bartender disappeared to the other end of the bar and kept his back to us the whole time. I would have ordered another drink, but we decided to leave due to the lack of attention. My husband finally handed the bartender his card, thinking it would be quick and easy, and we were charged $85. The bartender said he mixed up our tab with the people next to us. The bar itself isn't huge, so it should be easy to keep up. Again, so disappointing because I wanted to love the place.

Yelp
Such a cool speakeasy tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, you wouldn't know it was there. Great vibe, gothic esk with fun music, good bartender and plus points for late night "dark bar" when it is only lit by candles!
google avatar

Tavia G.

Yelp
This place is so cute! The ambiance is amazing, it really feels like you're in a cozy cellar or speakeasy. The cocktail list is extensive and they are all delicious. One of my fav things about the beverage menu here is that there are several super affordable domestic beers here ($4ish) so you can enjoy it on a budget. A lot of cocktail bars around Portland don't have anything u set $7, so we definitely appreciate that. Absolutely check this place out if you're in the area!
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
Never seen such a dark yet inviting place. This one truly lives up to its speakeasy status. Interesting but non-threatening menu & some crazy cocktails too. We stuck to the Allagash. Sunday Night Trivia? Yup. We loved it, wish we lived closer by. This will be a regular stop for us when in the city fo sho.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Monday evening for a quick bite. I got the buffalo wings and my fiancé got the smash burger. For pub food, both were tasty, though the wings could have been a little crispier and my fiancé's burger could have used salt. However, the salt and vinegar fries and accompanying sauce (an aioli or sorts) were AMAZING! We didn't try any cocktails but they looked good. Service was great, and the music and ambiance were fun too. Would be a cool late night spot or if you're out with a group of friends for a few drinks.

Yelp
Are you wantin' a dive with great mixologists, tasty food, and a friendly atmosphere? I hate recommending this place to you because I don't want people to know about Bramhall. Honestly, it is almost unspoiled for a trendy lil' hip place. The beer and wine and other rare beverage selections are always enjoyable. Then the cocktails are always exciting, and I will be able to find something or four I want to drink. Luckily my favorite moderately priced hotel is nearby, some I can bumble my way home. The food man! The food is always got something experimental, and there is always a diametrically opposed choice to make to stuff my tipsy face with. Yes, a bunch of it is fried, but the ingredients are farm-to-table. I often have a couple of good conversations with the bartender and then some locals sitting next to me. This is the bar that the servers in Portland go to after their shift. They won't tell you that unless they are sitting next to you at the bar. Of all the dives I have been in worldwide, this place has some of the best personalities of any dive. They used to make live music, which is rare nowadays. Now, if you're a wallflower, that's fine; you find it fun to be in a vaulted ceiling speakeasy space with raw brick reflecting the atmosphere all around you. There is some funky-dunky lighting, just saying. Hey, want a romantic little nook to have the two of you settle into? You can get this here too. They have an outdoor seating area on warm days, I think there's a fire out there sometimes (TBD???), but I come to hang at the bar and soak in the ambiance and a fair amount of good liquor. I'm not done with this place. The sign is hard to recognize! So miss it and make me happy, so there is more for ME! MINE, MINE, MINE!

Yelp
This was my favorite bar and cocktail that I had during my entire trip in Maine. The basement ambience with dim lighting and candles was amazing. Staff was friendly and prompt during our visit. The innovative cocktail list, along with traditional drinks is sure to please all types. I loved my tiki drink and the smoke penicillin was unreal. This is a MUST if visiting Portland.

Yelp
Stopped here for a drink the other night. Such a cool and cozy speakeasy vibe. The atmosphere here is like no other. They have a pretty big bar and very neat decorations. The drinks are great and the service is good as well. I have never had their food but would come back to try it. A great fall, and winter bar!
google avatar

Yelp
We went for drinks and a light dinner. Loved the atmosphere, really chill and fun. Dirty Bird drink was good.
google avatar

Caitlin R.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere but holy crap the service was a mess tonight. And I don't mean they were maybe a bartender short--it was blind rage against customers. One of the servers/hosts was so flustered, he was yelling around the bar and made it apparent to everyone else how awful a certain table was outside. After waiting a long 10 minutes, the masked bartender was rather rude when we asked about IPAs. She literally gave us a death stare. We walked out.

Yelp
Love walking to Bramhall and enjoying dinner and a drink. The atmosphere is dark but fun but also intimate near lots of candlelight's. Very interesting vibe that keeps me coming back for more!
google avatar

Yelp
My partner and I were celebrating a major life event, and it was our last night visiting Portland. We found Bramhall and ever since, can't stop telling people about it. The ambience is incredible - cozy, inviting, intimate if you want it, and just perfect for a "hidden" bar. More importantly, the staff is wonderful, and the drinks were perfection. We often are fine going out and getting a single drink, but we were so impressed we ordered another round. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Stayed one night in Portland. Had a decent dinner and was headed back to hotel when I stumbled upon this place. Wow! A basement type speakeasy - dark and loaded with candles. Loud music. Had a goth vibe but without the attitude. Everyone was friendly. Had an old fashioned (the house recipe) which knocked it out of the park. Had a few more. Love this place. Behind Lafitte's in NOLA, this might be my favorite bar in America.

Yelp
This is the place to go for a night out with friends or a date night. It's atmosphere is incredibly unique and I'm here for it. The food has always been good and the drinks are delicious as well. Staff are a blast and make your dining or night of drinks a fun experience. My only negative remark would be this: boy do I miss taco Monday. For quite some time, Monday night became a tradition for myself and a couple of friends - go eat tasty tacos, alongside a shot and a beer (usually a Tecate). It became a tradition and we loved it. We'd be refreshing Facebook all day waiting for that nights taco special to be posted. Whoever saw it first would screenshot it and relieve the rest of us from the suspense. Then the taco Monday special went away. But Covid hit and life changed. Businesses had to change too. It happens. I now understand the sentiment of Jenny Han "maybe really, really good things aren't meant to last for long; maybe that's what makes them all the more sweet, the temporariness of them."
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Stopped in for a few drinks on a Sunday night. Grabbed seats at the bar. It's an awesome spot in a basement, almost walked past the entrance as it was dark and hard to spot. I loved the vibe and look of the space. The bartenders were super friendly. We each had two drinks which I enjoyed. I believe I had the Stella and than another drink that was a twist on the jungle bird. My bf hoped to get a drink that requires orgeat which they didn't have, but they were kind enough to make a variation of the drink he wanted. Hope to go back and would recommend checking this spot out!

Yelp
One of the coolest speakeasies I have ever been too. It definitely has a spooky, witches den feel which I love! Candles all throughout, chilly, just super cool. Cocktails are super tasty & strong. They also serve food, this gal next to us was chowing down on a huge burger & it looked delicious. I think they have an outside area? There were a couple of women looking to see if they could have a big party here & I recall the bartenders saying yes, but only outside.

Yelp
Was in old port and can't find any place thats not full. Have to take uber to go to bram hall after walked around in old port for an hour. So glad that they are open and not busy. No reservation ? No problem Ordered 10 cocktails and all were great. Food also good but just tiny portion. Tried watermelon salad, pasta, but the jackpot were korean fried chicken, we even ordered it 3 times LOL Come here for drinks you won't dissapointed

Yelp
When in Portland Maine you should go to Bramhall. This used to be a speakeasy during prohibition. They got excellent cocktails, craft beer on draft and delicious food. The atmosphere is great and the music even better. I have to take a star away since the music on our 2nd day was awful, apparently the barkeeper's choice. I asked the waitress to play something less heavy but it seems the barkeeper knows what people want. I did however observe the bar emptying out over the 1.5h we were there.

Yelp
This was a great find. After being on the road all day, we checked into our hotel and found this place within walking distance from the Inn. This place is located at the basement of another restaurant. As soon as you enter through the door, it is a whole other world in there. The place has a dark/dim lighting but a pretty nice decor, rustic and modern at the same time. Can feel claustrophobic and noisy but not an issue for us. We ordered cocktails and burgers - the real one and one with beyond meat. We really loved the cocktails, they were really good and the burgers were spot on, one of the best we've had in a while. Will totally come back here when I am in the area.

Yelp
What a great find! Super cool bar atmosphere, great cocktails, friendly staff. Festive for the Halloween season.

Yelp
We were a little worried about finding Bramhall and being allowed in because we heard it was a speakeasy and that you needed a password. For anyone else wondering, this is not the case. It's not hidden and you aren't grilled at the entrance. LOL There's a very cool vibe as soon as you walk in. The first things I noticed were the upbeat music playing, the iconic "leg lamp" from the Christmas Story and a drip candle shrine. Our waiter and the girl he was training were super personable and engaging. We intended on getting some drinks and small bites, as we were having dinner elsewhere. They both were well versed in the area and had some awesome suggestions of local eateries that we may also want to try. We decided on the fried brussel sprouts, fine herb fries, and some panna cotta. The food was of higher quality than a typical pub. We were pleasantly surprised and look forward to returning to try an actual meal. Thanks for the great dining experience!

Jose M.

Yelp
This speakeasy is fantastic. The craft cocktails are inventive, and the bartenders skilled. In particular, Kyleen made a couple that were superb. The night I was in (Tuesday) they had a beer/shot/burger special for $16. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Adrian K.

Yelp
I popped in on my last night in Portland and really enjoyed my meal. The ambiance inside is insane - it's so cozy! I had a cheeseburger and a penicillin, both were delicious. It's definitely not a current day "speakeasy" so don't expect some sort of PDT-style secret entrance or tomfoolery... but who cares, the food and atmosphere was great.
google avatar

Rodney M.

Yelp
Such a great space. I discovered it a couple of years ago and have to say every visit is a 5! The location is great. They offer limited off street parking but I have never had a problem finding a space. The downstairs, speakeasy feel fits in with the brick and low light setting. The candles in the center, a great touch. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They make the experience and deserve the kudos. They offer a variety of seating options. At the bar, tables and out door seating when the weather is nice. That was a new discovery and excited to sit outside next time. There are a number of stairs involved when there so just a warning, but such a great place. The full bar and food menu are awesome. It is a great space for an intimate night or a group. My last visit was with a group of 10 for a birthday party and it was a perfect evening. Thanks.
google avatar

Julie M.

Yelp
Yes, you come to Portland to stuff yourself silly with amazing seafood, but sometimes you just really want a beer and a nice cheeseburger. The entrance to this place is slightly hidden, and you go down into the basement of the building. Bramhall has a very moody, speakeasy vibe that was pretty cool. We opted to sit outside on the covered patio. We got our drinks and an order of Thai chili wings, which were really great - the wings were cooked perfectly and meaty, the glaze, while not spicy, gave just enough interest in flavor to complement the chicken. My entree was a cheeseburger - beer cheese, pickles, lettuce, caramelized onion - perfectly cooked, perfectly dressed. It really hit the spot Service was attentive and pleasant, you bet I will be back again
google avatar

Matt W.

Yelp
Really good cocktails and a friendly staff--the vibe here is great. It's Amin a catacomb-like basement underneath an old restaurant. We stop in almost every time we are in portland. Just skip the locally made whisky.
google avatar

Dan M.

Yelp
Loved the feel of the place and the people. The menu seemed fun, but I can't directly assess the cocktails or the food as we only ordered a couple pours from the bar's nice selection of bourbon. (We killed the Little Book 2020, but there's still some Booker's 2021-04, Weller Antique, Elijah Craig Toasted, Blanton's, etc.) Staff did their absolute best but were harried and overworked; as such it was hard to catch their attention. They definitely needed one more person behind the bar to handle the endless deluge of cocktail orders. Even so, they managed to keep the train on the track. I totally recommend coming here, though you might want to avoid rush hour, a.k.a. 9 p.m. on a Friday.

Jac C.

Yelp
Don't know why this place is not packed on Tuesday nights! $16 for a burger, shot of bourbon and beer. Great food and service!

Yelp
Speakeasy. You like a good cocktail? You like good food? You like a cool atmosphere? You know what to do.

Yelp
Bramhall is a really cool bar and establishment located at the bottom of Roma Cafe. The minute you walk in, you are welcomed into the darkness with stone walls and dim lighting which gives it a dungeon-like feeling. Think Game of Thrones meets Harry Potter. The thing I appreciate about Bramhall is their cocktail selections. They have unique cocktails that are handmade, and they also have a specific selection of cocktails made with local liquor, which I thought was cool. They also provide some limited options of local beer and wine selections. Bramhall also offers some food selections that tend to be pub-like food, ranging from chicken wings, to a burger, to various other shareable plates. I have gotten their fries, which was very thin and good, and I have also tried the burger, which was surprisingly great! The only thing that keeps my review from giving it five stars is the service. Every time I have gone in, the servers and bartenders are nice, however, it sometimes feels like the staff are more enthused with their phones over the actual customers. When I went the other night, I was sitting at the bar and I finished my drink, and it took a while for the bartender to notice I was empty to ask if I wanted another drink. A small fix, though, Bramhall definitely has a unique aesthetic that adds to the Portland bar scene. I will be sure to continue coming!

Barbara A B.

Yelp
This was a find. I live in Portland but had not been here. Seth was unbelievable with his wine service, conversation and recommendations. Ege was charming as our server. The food was spot on, small plates prepared with knowledge and a fine touch. We sat on the patio on a beautiful evening but the inside looked intriguing in its own way. Trust me, you can't beat this place for an unexpected and satisfying evening.

Yelp
I've been coming to this establishment for decades....it is one of my favorite spots in Portland . My most recent visit was on a Wednesday at 5pm for their half price appetizer happy hour from 4-6. Also $2 off drafts and wine! I love the cozy candlelit atmosphere and the staff is very knowledgeable about making suggestions for beer....not easy to do in this booming microbrew town. The deviled eggs were perfection and the truffled fries were delightful....followed by a caesar salad...all half price. Get yourself down there to Congress street...what are you waiting for?

Their shots are the best I've ever had and go down TOO easily. When in doubt get the daiq shot Also the servers are really nice

Yelp
Delicious cocktails and food in a hidden, speakeasy style basement bar. Service was attentive and friendly and the music selection was excellent. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Drinks are good, vibes are good, food is terrible. Brussels sprouts, burger, and salad were all small and flavorless. Next time I'll come just for a drink.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and alright drinks. The food has taken an absolute nose dive. Brussel sprouts had no flavor, wings were cold and soggy. Too bad.

Yelp
There are just so many great things about Bramhall. After a two hour drive, the food was 10/10!!! The French fries were just amazing. The drinks were amazing! Now let's talk about our service. Joey was so amazing that he met our level of chaos and rolled with any questions and comments we had. He made the experience unforgettable. Best place in Portland. GO JOEY!
