"Brandon and Faith Lee are both Chinese American and co-owners of Bird & Branch, located in Hell’s Kitchen. From the name and mission to the menu itself, every detail here is intentional and selectively curated. The Lees created the shop with the purpose of giving back to the community by providing a job training program for folks with various barriers to employment, including victims of trafficking and people caught in the shelter system. They also partner with Saint Frank Coffee roasters because of their conscious relationships with coffee producers. Order the Nightingale - one of the many menu items named after a bird - a mix of earl grey tea steeped in milk with espresso, along with the delicious egg sandwich, which integrates Chinese ingredients from childhood snacks they grew up with, like rousong (pork floss) and ginger scallion. Open for indoor, outdoor, and takeout Sunday to Friday from 8am-3pm and Saturday 8am-5pm." - Esther Cho & With Warm Welcome

This is a must visit for couples wanting to enjoy some quality time together with a great view and a little music. Wednesday is the best for 1/2 off certain wines. The beer selection is small but has some great local options. Also the charcuterie board is plentiful and delicious. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and the view of downtown is wonderful. They do have a full dinner menu as well as indoor seating that is now on our radar for the next visit. Go check this place out. You will not regret it!

I came here on a beautiful April afternoon during lunch hours, and everything was very pleasant. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious and well-presented. I ordered from the lunch menu, and everything seemed reasonably priced for the quality and portions. The real standout in my mind was the atmosphere. I chose to sit on the outdoor terrace, which offers a stunning view of downtown from an upper level of the Frost Tower. Sipping on branch and bird's lavender lemonade while enjoying a magnificent view in sunny 75°F weather was the highlight of my day. If the weather is not as nice, the indoor dining room is also nice, with high ceilings and contemporary decor. I have heard the dinner menu is more expensive, so for a lighter and cheaper option, I recommend lunch.

Always a great time here. Their rooftop patio restaurant is so nice with beautiful views! They have live music on Saturday’s, and the cocktails and food are great! I love their lemon drop cocktail, the fusion bowl and added salmon. Yum yum across the board!

The outdoor patio was not open when we went for lunch. That would have been nice to sit outside. The food was fabulous. The atmosphere inside was ok. You felt like you were in a building. It lacked decor and ambiance. Though I would go back so it isn’t stopping me from going again.

We came here for cocktails and good views. The views were the best I’ve seen in Fort Worth. Nothing about this place was disappointing. The staff was great. The drinks were unique and fantastic. They had things I had never heard of but were fantastic. The flatbread was great quality as well. Not to mention the drinks and food, you get a great view. I have to come back and get their steak.

Loved this place!!! The ambience, the wait staff and food is amazing 😍 We got the pink lemonade, flatbreads and the dessert. It was a great experience highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Fort Worth or to enjoy a nice cozy family time.

My husband took me here for date night and it was 10/10. Emma was our waitress and she was outstanding. My favorite part was the view from the outdoor seating area. Stunning views of downtown and the sunset. We both ordered the filet and it was the best steak I’ve ever had; the sides were so good too! Definitely looking forward to coming back here soon. Parking in frost tower was easy and the hostess validated so it was free. Access to restaurant was simple through the parking garage and elevators.

We went on a Thursday evening, there was live music on the patio so there was only us and another couple or two that ate inside. There was live music on the patio, and the views were great. The food was good, the drinks were great, and the wait staff were also great and attentive. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. We’ll be going back again soon.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Branch & Bird, I'd recommend it--especially for the rooftop view, which was the main reason we went, and it did not disappoint. The food was well-seasoned, though not top-tier, but it matched the overall vibe of the place. The servers were kind and approachable, though since we arrived during a busy time, we didn't see them often while waiting for our food or during the meal. That said, we still felt taken care of. I'd suggest making a reservation in advance and opting for outdoor seating. We plan to return when there's live music and during happy hour. For those interested in details: We checked the sunset time beforehand and scheduled our reservation around it. We visited on a Friday in February, with clear skies and a perfect 72°F temperature, arriving about 15 minutes before sunset. Watching the sun set over the city was beautiful. We stayed for a little over an hour. Parking was easy--there are metered spots on the street, and parking is free after 6 PM. The building itself is modern and beautiful. To reach the restaurant, use the touch screen by the elevators to select your destination, and it will assign you an elevator. Once upstairs, the hostesses were welcoming and seated us promptly. We ordered the ceviche tostada, steak & chimichurri flatbread, and chicken capellini pasta, sharing everything between two people. Each dish had great flavor, but my favorite was the ceviche tostada. The entire experience cost us under $100. Overall, a great spot for the view, ambiance, and a relaxed meal. Looking forward to visiting again!

Yelp
Cute spot for happy hour, celebrations, or just because! Wonderful view of the city from the rooftop patio! Service: amazing! Our server came by plenty and made sure we were good. Food: Great! We ordered a few appetizers and drinks! Everything was tasty!

Yelp
Hubby and I came here for an impromptu lunch date and it was a very pleasant surprise! First of all, I stupidly know they served specialty coffee beverages and every single one looked so much fun! I got the iced cranberry matcha latte, which was delicious, but the milk was a bit curdled, so it wasn't all the pretty. We opted to sit outside on the patio for the view and it was a full patio with a few groups enjoying lunch. The whole menu looked super appetizing, it was hard to choose, but I went for the fish while hubby went with the steak melt. Service was warm and attentive, but extremely slow. At times it seemed like there were only 2-3 servers attending to both the patio and indoor dining area. They could have used at least 2 more staff to keep things moving. We were often left waiting for long stretches of time. Food was actually delightful! My fish was cooked just right and the rice was flavorful. The green beans had a nice crunch to them, which is exactly what I was craving! Hubby polished his plate with ease. I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Short: 1. Service not great (at best) 2. Food was terrible 3. Patio music was beyond obnoxiously loud 4. Save yourself, go somewhere else Details. Went to celebrate my friend's birthday (Thurs, Oct 17 2024)- she wanted a rooftop experience and to see the hunter's moon. She made a reservation, and they accommodated us on time- and then everything went downhill. SERVICE: our server was polite and nice but seemed inexperienced. She didn't know the menu well, didn't know what kind of tea they offered and nothing we asked for seemed to register. As my friend doesn't drink (medical reasons) we were looking for nonalcoholic bevs. Ultimately, we ordered club soda and got topo chico and it took about 20 minutes total (we started asking for hot tea...but she had no idea what kind of tea they offered. We told her maybe a green tea but open to anything that wasn't fruity or sweet. She came back (about 10ish min later) with one option for a fruit flavored green tea...and couldn't remember any of the other options so in frustration we asked for club soda...then maybe seven minutes later she came back to inform us they were out and then offered us the topo chico. We went with it. After we ordered salads and mains, she proceeded to tell us the salads were working every time she passed us (at least a half dozen times) and it started to become a joke. Yes- it took a long time for them to come...but no need to remind us every time you pass by- we weren't being impatient about it. FOOD: Yikes. I ordered a burrata/tomato salad. The tomatoes were- strange? texturally they seemed like they had been frozen and the cell walls had burst because they were mealy and mushy. I also had a weird reaction to them and immediately my mouth broke out and I had hives for two days after- I am not allergic to tomatoes (I grow them and eat them all the time) so my best idea is that they were not organically grown and hadn't been washed- probably a reaction to some pesticide. I was starving so I ate it quickly and then suffered the reactive consequence....that's what I get for not eating all day. My friend ordered the arugula pear salad- it was woefully under-seasoned and instead of dressing it just seemed like they doused it all in oil (I tasted it, it was gross). For a main, I order the carpaccio- one of my favorite dishes...and what they did to it was a crime against the dish and the cow that died for it. its literally raw beef so it should be hard to screw up. Came with some oily unseasoned arugula and the meat was meh- i still ate it bc I was starving. Many regrets through the rest of the night. My friend (Birthday girl) ordered the short rib. it came out when she was about 1/4 the way done with her salad. I have NEVER seen my friend send something back- but she took one bite, spit it out and said "I can't eat this, there is just no way" Sauce was congealed, polenta was clumpy and cold, meat was unseasoned (I did not try this dish so I am going off what she told me). AMBIANCE: They had live music. It was so loud that we were sitting shoulder to shoulder literally yelling at each other. I was a chef on rock tours and worked right behind main stage at many a punk rock show- and this was more obnoxious than that- we asked to move further from the musician but it didn't help. GRAND FINALE: After sending her food back and an overall abysmal experience, we told the waitress we were all set. Maybe it wasn't clear enough that we just wanted to pay and leave because she asked us if she could get us anything 3 times (where we replied "No thank you, all set") each time- Maybe she couldn't hear us because it was deafeningly loud with the music going. Finally I directly told her we were ready for the bill. They took off the short rib so that was nice I guess.

Yelp
What a great experience! I was asked on a date and told to meet here. The parking was really simple and they validated my parking tab. We were seated immediately out on the rooftop and what a view!!! The weather was perfect and we were able to watch most of the sunset. For our drinks we got a bottle of red blend because they were half off. #win. Yummy!!! For an appetizer we went with the beef carpaccio. It came with pita chips. The steak was rare and very delicate. It was full of flavor and left me anxious to try the next dish. For an entree I decided to go with the bacon wrapped quail. It was paired with jalapeño cheddar grits and brussel sprouts. The quail was also stuffed with jalapeño and was very spicy! I had to remove the jalapeños and found that it included the seeds. Way too hot for my taste but this was a flavorful dish in spite of the heat. I decided to pass on the dessert which is a chefs special so ask for the verbal menu and I'm certain they'll have something yummy. I can't wait to return for another wonderful evening and to try more of the fabulous dishes. This place is great for date night or girls night out!

Yelp
Good experience. The service was great and the views were awesome! Food was great too. Pricey but good!

Yelp
Bird Branch is perfect for a lunch with friends or a romantic dinner. This place has a very lovely concept. The food is good--not in my top 10--but I'd still recommend it, and it offers a beautiful view of the city.

Yelp
If ever I have been to a restaurant that was nearly perfection, this one is it. Starting with the view. You can't help but love this place when you sit out on the patio deck with all of Fort Worth below you. On the evening we were there it was one of those quickly cooling nights. At first it was comfortable, then as the sun set the heaters came on and everything remained perfect. The beverage menu has a broad selection of craft beers, enough wines to give a good selection and some very creative craft cocktails. I had the Doin' Thyme and my wife had the Pearfect Crime, and both were excellent. Others had wines and beers and were very happy. The only starter we tried was the Steak & Chimichurri Flatbread and it was perfect. The main courses ran the gambit of the menu and everyone was extremely happy. My wife had Burrata with Heirloom Tomatoes and added shrimp as a protein. This dish was perfect, from the cheese to the freshness of the tomato to the perfectly grilled shrimp. I had the Bacon-wrapped Quail, which is served with jalapeño and roasted raspberry chipotle, poblano pepper cheddar grits and brussels sprouts. This dish was excellent - perfectly prepared, excellent sides and just the right amount of heat from the jalapeno. Other highlights at the table were the Salmon Toscana, Creole Redfish and filet. We had no room for dessert. All during our meal there was a gentleman playing acoustic guitar singing a selection of singer/songwriter tunes from the last 50 years. Perfect volume and a great voice that added tremendously to the atmosphere. I give Branch and Bird an enthusiastic 5 stars.

Yelp
Just went for drinks during happy hour. Really friendly staff, helpful when I told them it was our first time. Gorgeous shaded balcony. Fantastic and beautiful craft drinks. Loved the bartender, she even explained why our drink was so delicious. Side note, the elevator system in the building was pretty cool too. We weren't able to stay for the sunset, but I hear it's stunning from their balcony. Inside also has the view, pretty big place .Good happy hour specials also.

Alexis P.

Yelp
The view of the city is beautiful and very peaceful. It is also mostly shaded which is nice during the summer. The service can be slow at times, but if you're not in a rush and just enjoying drinks it's not usually a problem. The drinks are made well!

Gio P.

Yelp
5 stars because of the service. The food was good but the service was top notch. There was an issue with their systems and they couldn't accept credit card. It wasn't a big deal because there was an ATM downstairs. We made a reservation so we received a phone call ahead of time letting us know we would have to use cash. Our waitress so so friendly and gave us a percentage off because of the issues. I had the chicken sandwich and substituted the chips for a side salad. I also got the lavender lemonade. It was delicious!! Since the restaurant is abuse the frost bank, there's a nice view. It was raining and cold so we couldn't sit outside. I want to go back when the weather is better.

Jason K.

Yelp
Our server Emma took care of my friends and I for one of my friend's birthday and it was a great experience. Emma was very knowledgeable on the menu and the cocktails. Her descriptions made everything sound amazing; I was wanting to sample it all. We had went on a Tuesday night so it was a very nice quiet experience where we could all chat and hear each other perfectly. Highly reccomend stopping by for a special event and ask for Emma she has an inviting and electric energy that made the meal special.

Yelp
Branch & Bird is on the 12th floor of the Frost building downtown. It has a fantastic view of downtown Fort Worth. The balcony is comfortable. B&B is like two different places in the morning and afternoon. My coworkers and I like to go in the mornings for the craft lattes, which use real ingredients (e.g., pumpkin puree in the PSL) and have a perfect level of sweetness and great espresso. We also love the breakfast tacos. It's very chill and quiet in the mornings. It's a good place to start the day. It's a different type of place at night. It's more lively for happy hour. There are some good happy hour drinks. The flatbread is great. I don't know if the fig jam and pear flatbread was a special, but if it's available you should get that. My one complaint is that the name should really be Bird & Branch.

Lore L.

Yelp
Had a wonderful patio dinner with my husband at Branch & Bird. The server was attentive and provided great recommendations and we walked away completely stuffed. The crab cake had a bit of a kick to me (my husband didn't taste a kick) but was amazing. He had the bacon wrapped quail w/risotto which was very tasty. I had the seafood Mac & cheese...let. me. tell. you...DE-LISH! It was so rich & creamy. We wrapped it up with a piece of salted caramel cheesecake that was divine. It's a bit pricy but totally worth it!

Joshua H.

Yelp
Impeccable service with stunning views while dining on a magnificent menu of food options as well as beer, wine and cocktails. Everything about our first time visit here was amazing. My halibut brodett was absolutely delicious. The ceviche tostada appetizer was one of the best I've had period. Not a spec of food was left on any of our plates if that tells you anything at all. Valarie our server was a class act so be sure to ask for her. Go at sunset and take in a priceless sunset from the rooftops of downtown Fort Worth. You gotta go here and see for yourself. The perfect place for an impressive date night or business dinner

Rich R.

Yelp
Let me start with the best....it has to be Valerie. She was the best server. The views are exceptional, the ambiance is impeccable and the drinks were simply delicious. Sucks they ran out of the Watermelon high rise. 3 of us had filets, they were border overcooked. Otherwise super flavorful. One of us had pasta pockets that was delicious.

Brandi K.

Yelp
Popped in on a suggestion from a friend while in town on a work trip, and this place did not disappoint! We didn't have a reservation, but they weren't even close to full. Sat at the bar and were warmly greeted by the amazing bartenders. My friend and I ordered cocktails that were perfectly crafted. We opted not to eat here, though. Really lovely inside with great views of Fort Worth!

Kevin R.

Yelp
I've only been here for lunch. They have daily lunch specials. The food seems high quality. You can easily eat lunch here and return to work without feeling groggy. You have to take the elevator up to the restaurant. It's like a secluded gem hovering above Fort Worth. It has a really cool patio with amazing views. Visited here with coworkers, party of 6. The host quickly set up a table for us and the server split everyone's check without issue. (Been to places that seem irritated when you ask to split checks, not the case with Branch & Bird).

Diana D.

Yelp
This place was VERY neat! Staff was very attentive and polite. We went during happy hour on a Friday and it wasn't very busy, got to sit in their patio and enjoy the beautiful views of downtown Fort Worth. That shrimp salad was to die for, absolutely delicious. Drinks were also very good! Would love to go back and enjoy a full meal next time!

Darren S.

Yelp
Wow!! The food was absolutely phenomenal. The rooftop dining was fantastic and just elevated enough to feel special, without being overbearing or uncomfortable. Pricey but well worth it and fantastic service!! 10 out of 10 would recommend and will absolutely be back!!

LaTasha A.

Yelp
Strange location. But once we got there, definitely excellent restaurant. Great drink and food selections. Service was a bit too slow on different occasions. Like we requested our salads, and the literally came as the food was coming out - instead of early (like requested). Took forever to cash out.

Michele M.

Yelp
Beautiful views and a yummy dinner! We had the flatbread appetizer, and it was amazing. Then, I had the fusion bowl for my main course, and it was incredible! It was a beautiful evening with views of downtown Fort Worth and a tasty meal with friends. Highly recommend this place for a date night or celebratory dinner!

Kelly O.

Yelp
Beautiful views and pretty decent food. We had a reservation for Friday lunch, but it was not busy in the least bit. Prob gets busy at night. A lot of their menu items sounded delicious. I struggled picking something. We got the brisket grilled cheese and the steak flat bread. The grilled cheese was good, but the brisket was overpowering. I could barley taste any cheese. I liked the crunchy bread they used. The flatbread was good too, flavorful, and not too filling. I would def come back.

April S.

Yelp
I had been following this place on insta and was following their remodel waiting for them to reopen so I was very excited to take my husband, my mom and her sister. I made the reservation for 5:30 on a Saturday requesting outside seating. We were just going for drinks. When we stepped off the elevator the place was empty except for two people at a host stand. I gave them the name for the reservation and asked if we could sit outside. The male host didn't even look at me or paperwork he just kind of rudely said they are all reserved. I told him that was the only reason we came and that we were only having drinks so if we needed to move we would. He sat us at a 6 top surrounded by empty 4 tops. There were two other tables with people and one more that arrived during our visit. Service was slow and I could see wait staff hanging at the bar talking while we waited and waited to place our order. Same when it came time to pay. Our waitress didn't check on us and the one drink I wanted was not available which was irritating. You've been marketing your reopen but you couldn't place the alcohol order? Live music was good. They need to up their game as the experience they market and what you actually get don't align.

Kalynne M.

Yelp
I've been looking for an excuse to check this place out, so my friends and I decided to go for my birthday. On Wednesday the offer 1/2 priced bottles of wine and they have a decent HH (it ends at 6, used to be 6:30). We ordered the Margherita & steak flatbreads, the dip trio, hummus, and Brussel sprouts. All the food was great, honestly our only detractor was our server. She was pretty rude, at one time my friend had to ask for a straw three times (and did do politely) and the server rolled her eyes. Her whole demeanor was not pleasant. When making a reservation, they ask if you have a special occasion. Although the occasion was given, they don't offer a birthday desert (no big deal, but honestly, why ask lol). The view from the Patio is ok, but honestly the view from the side where there are no tables I'd much prettier. Overall, I'll probably stop in again, and hope I get a different person taking care of us.

Brooke L.

Yelp
The server and host were so sweet last night, our steaks came out amazing and the pizza was so delicious. The drink I had was strong and very tasty.

Jenny N.

Yelp
Love the live music on weds & saturday's. Food is great, happy hour is great on wine nights. Service is good but sometimes it's window. One of the coolest views from outside as you are on the 12th floor. Highly recommend when it's cooler outside.

Travis C.

Yelp
We were mid-day walk ins. They gave us a great table and wonderful service. Highly recommend asking for Angela as a server!

Dawn G.

Yelp
I am a sucker for a place with a great view. I've had my eye on this spot for quite sometime now and was so stoked to finally try it for dinner. After taking the elevator up to the sky lobby, level of frost tower, you'll walk out to see this upscale restaurant/bar. Reservations can be made via OpenTable, though they aren't completely necessary if you're coming during the week or happy hour. First off, let's talk about that view! Here you have a beautiful unobstructed view of downtown, which you can enjoy from inside, or their covered patio. It is gorgeous, especially during golden hour. So try to go during this time, especially mid week when it won't be as busy. Trust me, the sky will be so perfect, you won't have to use a filter! Their menu is split into different sections, which I thought was cool. Sections are Shareables, farm, sea, ranch, and sweets. We started with drinks and an app to share. Wegot crispy Brussels for our starter, served with a Dijon aioli. Loved that the Brussels had a good char on them and was tasty with the aioli. For drinks, Jon decided on a Gin and tonic and I opted for the Paradise cocktail, though I asked them to switch the rum for gin. I normally don't ask for substitutions when is comes to drinks, but after reading what else was in the Paradise (Elderflower liqueur, lemon, Basil, honey and peach) I couldn't help myself. Gin and Elderflower is a match made in Heaven in my mind! The bartender was very accommodating and I loved my modified Paradise. For our main meal, my fiancé decided on the bone in short rib, With velvet potatoes and charred broccolini. I was in the mood for some thing light and with shrimp. The shrimp option underneath the sea section was served with pasta, so I instead chose to add poached shrimp to a salad. There were lots of salads to choose from, so I asked my waitress what her recommendation was. She said that the summer salad would be excellent with shrimp. I decided to trust her recommendation and hope for the best. I definitely should have double checked what was in the summer salad before saying yes. It wasn't that my salad was terrible, it was just a little strange and in my honest opinion, not at all impressive for what I paid for it. The salad was comprised of Romaine, jicama, grapes sections, pine nuts, cheese curds, orange sections and a "honey mustard dressing" (which was just more of the Dijon aioli we had with the Brussels) and topped with shrimps. For some reason in my mind, when I heard summer salad, I was imagining dark leafy greens and had I known it was the same dressing from the appetizer, I would have asked for something different. Again, not terrible, but I wouldn't order it again. My fiancé's entrée was absolutely fabulous! The short rib was well seasoned and falling off the bone. The potatoes were addicting and lived up to their velvety description. The broccolini were nicely charred and still had a good bite to them. Would absolutely re-order this. Overall, this was still a pretty solid experience. The view at sunset was so gorgeous, I still think about it! They do have a happy hour from Tue- Fri, 4-6. So I think when we return, it will definitely be for drinks and Shareables. They're also remodeling at the time of my posting this review, so I'll be sure to update when we go back and see the new refreshed space. Cheers!

Gail F.

Yelp
Being located on a floor well above the ground floor of an office building was weird enough...be ready for an odd feeling where you are dressed up for a Friday/Saturday night out, but the only "crowds"behind you are people headed home from work...it was just so oddly uncomfortable. Drinks were really good, but the food was 100% microwaved, and hilariously overpriced. This place is a bar. Do not order food. My tip: come for a great drink if meeting a friend who actually works in the building, don't expect a 2nd - the servers are oblivious, take advantage of the view and get some fun pictures, then head out to true downtown Fort Worth for dinner once you meet up with the person you are waiting for. Also, please note that the building's location is not in a high traffic area of downtown Fort Worth, so come back to your car with someone else if after dark. It is very quiet and there is almost no street/foot traffic at night. Be mindful.

David T.

Yelp
Came here with three colleagues for a nice dinner. We were seated out on the terrace and the weather was nice especially with the heaters turned on. The service and food was excellent. My big complaint was that the live music was on so loud we couldn't hear each other talk around our table. The loudness would be fine in a bar atmosphere, but with people dining, the amplifier should have been turned down to allow conversations at each table. I truly enjoyed the music, but would have been even more enjoyable if half as loud as it was. We ordered the grilled brussels sprouts and margarita flatbread as appetizers. We followed with the bahn mi tacos, short ribs and the Cocio e Pepe with shrimp. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. Would have rated another star if it wasn't for the loud music.

Keke K.

Yelp
Went there on sat night and this place was amazing! The weather was great and we had a outside table. The drinks were absolutely delicious (had to order twice) and the food was great. Only thing is I wish they had whole grain option on trio dip. Great vibes!

Hillary P.

Yelp
I once heard, "never eat at a place with a beautiful view" and unfortunately this place is the epitome of that saying. The view is absolutely breathtaking... that's what trapped me. I knew the reviews weren't awesome but I was hoping a few people had a poor experience and I'd come up on a gem. I was mistaken and can honestly say, I'd never eat here again. Would I come by for a drink or happy hour? Probably so, just because the view is that gorgeous. The roasted chicken is $25 which is not expensive at all but one expects a piece of chicken for $25 to be cooked well and seasoned. I've had better bird with a rotisserie bag from the grocery store. The "seasonal vegetables", let's be real... bell peppers and red onions... were cold and unseasoned. The risotto, undercooked and unseasoned. The service is OK. My server was friendly but like most places, I think they're heavily understaffed and many people like myself seemed to just be sitting around waiting for someone to show up. Very meh and could live without the place.

Yelp
We celebrated 3 milestone birthdays here and they were so sweet and helpful in making sure we had space to watch the sunset on the outdoor patio and then move inside for dinner. The general manager, DeShawn, helped to make the arrangements and then checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. The cocktails were the best I've had lately. I had the fire and ice which had the perfect blend of holiday spice and a touch of butter to temper the sweet. We ordered the ceviche as an appetizer and it was perfectly finished. I had the short rib pasta and it was hearty without being too heavy. Others had the salmon, quail and redfish. There wasn't a bite left. Thank you to the whole B&B team for making our evening memorable.

Mike K.

Yelp
We had a group of 9 diners so I do give that some consideration when writing this review. The service was pretty good so I won't complain about that. The wine choices were pretty good as well. Our waitress was also the sommelier for the restaurant. I had read other Yelp reviews so I knew that this was a lower class restaurant trying to be something that it isn't. We ordered apps for the table. They were all ok....nothing that blew my socks off but nothing thats was very bad either. We also ordered cocktails. They were unique recipes which sounded really good. They weren't so good. The mezcal cocktail tasted awful. I I usually enjoy mezcal cocktails. I switched to wine quickly. I was in the mood for steak...I mean cmon I'm in Texas after all!! Lol. After reading other reviews, I knew better than to order the filet. And, once I saw my friend who ordered it, I was very relieved. It was way on the small side (read tiny) and overcooked (easy to do with a small steak). I opted for the bone-in short rib for my entree. It was pretty good. Not fabulous but pretty good. A solid choice. They were out of mashed potatoes so they subbed a risotto and it was average. Overall, I think that there are way better choices to spend your money for a good meal in the downtown Ft. Worth area. Until the management steps up their game and increases quality and pays attention to detail, (and steak size), they are going to continue to have reviews like this one. (I'm not the only one who has felt this way). 2.5 generous stars. (Rounded to three)

Yelp
Came here with a large group. Food was way overpriced for a very small portion. Will give them the chicken was as good as the chicken I had at top golf earlier in the day. Xx lager was flat and sent back. Got Stella instead. It was ok. What I cannot forgive is the worst cup of coffee in my life. I've traveled some and had some bad coffee and some great coffee. This was very bad.

Yelp
We met some friends here for happy hour drinks and hung around for dinner. First of all, the view is amazing and the weather felt perfect; we couldn't have picked a better evening to enjoy our dinner with friends. When you first walk into the Frost building, you have to go to the elevators and go to the little screens on the wall of the elevator to choose the floor you want to go to. (It's different and a fancier "elevator button" than we've ever seen, so my husband and I were a bit confused at first.) You go up to the 12th floor and to the right is the restaurant hostess, ready to sit you. We had reservations to make sure we could sit outside. The server was very kind and patient with us as we made up our mind on drinks. We ended up both having the wheat beer on tap and then shared a bottle of the prosecco and red wine with our friends. Have I mentioned they have a "Wine on the skyline" Wednesdays? Half price bottles of select wines from 5-8pm with live music. It was fantastic. Dinner was just as nice; my husband and I both ordered the southwest salad (he added chicken to his) and our friends ordered the salmon and a prosciutto flatbread. We had a great experience overall and will definitely be returning... on a Wednesday!! ;)

Yelp
Priscilla and Marco made our first experience so amazing. I could not ask for any better service they go above and beyond in recognizing what their client needs.

Yelp
If you want to be pleased and full with the most enjoyable foods from crap cake appetizers to mouthwatering steak! Please come and spend your money! The jazz music is playing in the restaurant to live music on the balcony! This is a winner! Never wait once the reservation is made! Great drinks and atmosphere!

Yelp
Havent been in a long time. I will start with the positives, there are few. 1. View 2. Drinks were good 3. Love the remodel 4. Patio The bad, and this has not changed 1. Service is awful 2. we arrived at 5:40, the waitress kept saying she would get to us, she sees us..... at 6:05 she arrived to take our order..... TOO LATE for happy hour.... SORRY... she says ( this has happended to me here before) 3. Food is awful, menu awful. Need more snackable bites that are for light eaters or heathier snacks that are not all seafood/fish 4. Then there was the parking...... cost me more than my cocktail. Shame on me, Hour and 1/2 was $25.00. Next time I will park across the street for free. Won't go back unless I walk there and just go for a drink, forget the Happy Hour! this is a great place and has wonderful potential. Get your act together.

Yelp
5/5: This restaurant is AMAZING. I had never heard of it before and I went and I will continue going back until the day I die. Amazing drinks, food, and customer service.

Yelp
Burger was well done when I asked for medium. It was dry until I had to ask for the truffle mayo that was described in menu. Sweet potato fries were cold, limp and undercooked. Never filled up our water glasses. Party of 8 - guess tip was automatic so they never checked on us. Chicken sandwiches came with plain potato chips. No way this place will stay in business.

Yelp
Great lunch spot with a wonderful view of downtown. We went before a performance at Bass Hall and it was just a short walk

Yelp
The best part of the Branch & Bird is the ambience of the Sky Patio. The weather was perfect. The view stunning. The food was good. We enjoyed your typical chicken Caesar salad (what lady who lunches doesn't love that?) and the redfish tacos. Since we were celebrating a birthday they included a complementary Sacher Torte. The service was friendly and was always on the spot with more iced tea. They also did not rush us but let us linger enjoying our conversation and the view.

Yelp
Overpriced for precooked/reheated food. The only stars I give is for the service and it was fantastic. The salmon and chicken was definitely processed, frozen and reheated. The met and cheese board was good. I suggest appetizers only.

Yelp
Visited on Friday, 06/16/23. Would not recommend, unless you want really good pics of the patio view. For a Friday, I thought it would be way more packed. Inside, it was quiet and dead. Not even music playing. Ordered my filet mignon medium rare. Came out well done. Grey with barely a hint of pink. Ordered the steak with the "shiitake mushrooms" as the side. This turned out to be under seasoned baby Bella mushrooms with a few shiitake thrown in. The icing on the cake was the waitress. A girl in our group ordered a brut champagne. When the waitress brought it out, she pronounced it "bruht" (like the sound of "strut"). We were in shock that a restaurant of this atmosphere didn't know how to properly pronounce the word brut! She also forgot to put in a cocktail order, but put it in after asking if I wanted another drink while I was waiting on one already. Biggest turn off was the way overcooked steak. That's more than the service. That goes straight to the quality.

Yelp
we had a great view of Downtown Ft Worth, the drinks were amazing and then the food came and it was so disappointing. no flavor, simply bland for the amount of money paid. so many better places to eat around. This was our first time out on a proper date and we had high hopes based on the screen shots we saw of the food and menu. We had a high top table outside right next to entrance door so we had limited view of Downtown during dinner, but the porch wraps all the way around the building so we had plenty of time to take pictures. Our waitress was also the bar tender and apparently responsible for the drink menu and was clearly proud of that. She did make amazing drinks and that was the best part of the place. The atmosphere from the time you get off the elevator is very industrial business vibe. It resembles more a corporate cafeteria then upscale restaurant. Even outdoors it seems more cafeteria then upscale. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Yikes! This is a hard one. The ambiance was superb. You can't beat a rooftop view in Downtown Fort Worth! Service was decent. We arrived at 7pm on. Saturday evening without reservations. Surprisingly there was an open table! What lacked most was the food!!!! Both pasta dishes were horrible in both texture and flavor. I would give 1 star if it weren't for the pork belly appetizer. That is the only thing we enjoyed - and for the price I was VERY dissatisfied. I cannot recommend this establishment if you're hungry.
