"Brasa’s holiday take home meal package can accommodate gatherings large and small — it’s available for two or increments of four, up to 28 people. Hidden gem! I came here for the 1st time last week for a staff meeting. Upon arriving, everyone was extrmelely friendly. We were seated immediately and given menus to review. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with Yuca fries, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. Everything arrived very quickly. I’ve been to numerous restaurants, and the wait time here was almost non-existent. The food came out within 5 to 7 minutes of ordering. The waiter was extremely attentive and continuously returned to see how we were doing and checked in to see how everything tasted. The rotisserie chicken I ordered with the green sauce was phenomenal. The mac and cheese and everything else was exceptional. I would definitely return. I had a really great experience and the environment was very welcoming.

One of our family favorites whenever we go through Minneapolis! The food is always fantastic, authentic & fresh!!! I always go with a BOWL! I recommend the smothered chicken (it's so moist) or the pork bowl! Everytime we go I buy a hot vinegar to take home as well. Brasa would easily be a 5 star place but the recent move to QR code orders is a bit frustrating.

Brasa catered our wedding on 5/25/25 and I am BLOWN AWAY. We are long time fans of their food, all they way back to when my husband's grandmother would order it for family gatherings. Lots of our friends are also long time fans so we knew it would be a hit. But man was it a HIT. Everything was so delicious and even the most critical of our relatives raved. Not only that but their catering staff packaged up individual meals for my husband and me for the day after our wedding and gifted is a bottle of champagne. AND we got to do a free tasting to decide what to serve and had such a fun date night and absolutely stuffed ourselves. I cannot recommend these guys and their phenomenal food enough.

Have loved eating here and getting takeout for years. Recently picked up an order when coming back into town from a camping trip and my wife remarked how this is the best takeout around and always satisfies. Leftovers keep well too so it’s just as good the next day. The collard greens with smoked chicken are my favorite side; they put most other collards to shame. Douse them (and your chips) with the hot pepper vinegar to really make them great.

Google
Staff was very accommodating to our large group. They did a great job keeping up with our split orders as well. Food came out pretty quick, great flavors. It was a pretty unique menu and the kids menu followed suit which wasn’t so good for the picky eaters in our group.

Just wanted to share. It's my recent experience at this establishment. I've been to this establishment. It's on several occasions, and I really like the food, what my experience today. With the food, it was very lackluster. The macaroni and cheese is not the macaroni and cheese that you all Originally used to present to customers and the uh, the yellow rice tasted more like Spanish rice and I'm very just dissatisfied with the amount of money that I spend at the establishment when I come to eat for myself and my family. I just I didn't find the quality that you all put into your food previously, so I just wanted to reach out and let you know. I'm not sure if the menu used changed. The quality of the food has definitely changed but it is not what I I'm used to getting from your establishment.

Google
Had a supreme experience at Brasa. Jacob took excellent care of us, including with my food allergies. Labelled on their paper allergen menu are major allergens, gluten, garlic/onion/nightshades/cilantro, and even GMO-free. With my egg and nut allergy, I had the vegetarian curry bowl (which is vegan, in fact) as well as rice and beans. Delicious! And on a quiet Monday, it only took about ten minutes to get the food. Lovely outdoor patio and quick service are a wonderful combination! And we're still raving about how great host Jacob is. Will be back!

Jacob was a great server and the patio seating was perfect. Food is consistently excellent! Going back soon!

Yelp
I wish I could give this place 6 starts. Extremely fast service, big windows and insanely good food. The chips were thick, crunchy and not too salty. The sandwitch was massive with big chunks of chicken and the yuca was crispy perfection. Will be coming back.

Yelp
Solid food at a good price point. Met some friends for dinner and was able to be seated right away. The parking lot is pretty small, but you can usually find spots on the street. So many good options to choose from! Most of us ordered the rotisserie chicken plate. You get a ton of food for just $15. The chicken is excellent and you get your choice of sides. The crispy yuca is always my go-to.

Yelp
Tried Brasa for the second time after not super loving it the first time I went and enjoyed it much more this time. I got the rotisserie chicken bowl and really enjoyed it. Shout-out to our server who recommended I add an egg! Service was great, I wish I got our server's name but they were so fabulous and friendly, I wanted to chat with them all night. We went on an early Friday evening and it was busy but not too packed. It has a small parking lot but plenty of street parking around.

Yelp
This is my husbands go to restaurant. The food is always good and fresh. This is the one place he has found that he likes the greens. We normally get chicken but this time we tried the special and the pulled pork was delicious. We go here often and the service is always fast and very friendly and attentive. The place is small but we have never felt crowded or cramped. I for sure recommend this place!

Yelp
Tried Brasa for the first time yesterday with some friends. We got the family special with pulled pork, and it also came with salad, rice, sauce, beans, and chips. The pork was tender and both sauces were great! You definitely get a lot of food for what you pay. The service and ambiance were good as well. The only downside was the cornbread which I had heard good things about, but personally I thought it was a little stale and dry. They have a small parking lot but it fills up fast -- not to worry though, there's plenty of street parking nearby.

Yelp
Delicious broasted chicken! I pickup and use not only as a main course, but use in casseroles, burritos, chicken salad and chili.

Yelp
Server was extraordinary! Food was excellent! Atmosphere was great. From the minute we walked in until the moment we left we got the feeling that everyone was glad we had stopped in for lunch.

Yelp
My all time favorite restaurants in Minneapolis. Every time I visit Minneapolis this is a must stop. The pulled chicken, collard greens, pigeon rice and corn bread is my staple dishes. Please do yourself a favor and check this gem out.

Yelp
I visited Brasa for the first time in a few years and was impressed with all the menu updates! There are now 6 great main entrees for vegetarians and 3 for vegans, not to mention all the sides like yams, plaintains, yucca, and veggies. I had the chimichurri tofu sandwich, which comes with black beans, lettuce, and tomato on a ciabatta. It was very messy but tasted delicious and full of flavor from the sauce. I also ordered cornbread that was perfectly sweet. It was hard to only eat one! The other people in my party said their meat plates (pork bowl, smothered chicken) were delicious as usual. In particular, we had a very positive service experience. Our waiter (Jacob, I believe) really made us feel welcome, offered some great recommendations without being pushy, and let us sit at our table for several hours. The music playing in the restaurant was a fun playlist too!

Yelp
Closer to a 4.5 in terms of rating: All the stars go to the entrées which are some of the best I have had anywhere in the Twin Cities, while the sides can be a hit or miss depending on what one chooses to get. But because the entrées are just too good, I will give a 5 regardless since I can't do a 4.5 here. I have been coming to Brasa for more than 7 years, and I think they are excellent in every way. This is the first time I have returned since the pandemic and unfortunately the quality of the side dishes have decreased, along with some of the desserts. I have tried rotisserie chicken, smothered chicken, and pulled pork before. They are all simply amazing. The meat is tender, flavorful, and juicy. No matter what you pair the meat up with, it is always a hit. My personal favorite is yellow rice and black beans, along with a piece of cornbread on the side. I must say, the cornbread I had this time was tiny, as opposed to 5 years ago when it was much bigger and more buttery. What used to look as large as my fist now looks like almost just a quarter of my fist, and it tasted very plain. Nowadays they also have bowl options, which is amazing! The smothered chicken bowl was very tasty, and in some ways even more flavorful than the plate since all flavors were combined together. As for the side, the fried plantains tasted good. The greens were a bit bland even if I tried digging from the bottom, the part that had the most juice. The grits were good but not spectacular and I think more cheese melted inside instead of just on the top would help. The mac & cheese was solid, but maybe more cheese on the top would be better. The candied yam was still as amazing as I remembered, as I dipped the yam in the juice at the bottom. Overall the sides were a hit or miss depending on what I had gotten, but at least the prices were still decent. I forgot to take a photo of the coconut-vanilla pudding but that was a pretty good dessert. Not too sweet, and contained all the flavors I was expecting. The chocolate devil's food cake was very basic and tasted like it came from a box from a grocery store. It was hard and old, unfortunately. I am hoping this was an exception and not representative of the general trend of how it tastes like. Generally, still a solid establishment after this many years and I still give a 5 even if I normally would have given a 4 due since I round down my .5 ratings. But based on the quality decrease I have observed, I would love to see Brasa step up again to position itself as an even more extraordinary food spot.

Yelp
I've heard so many good things about this place but I was a bit disappointed. The location is cute and the patio is nice. The service was prompt and pleasant. The miss for me was sadly the food. It took me a while to decide on something that sounded good and what we did pick was mediocre. I can't put my finger on it but something was off with the flavor.

Yelp
Quick, casual dining! Lots of variety and choices on the menu, quality cooked meats sides, and house made sauces. No tipping model! I always love stopping by for take out as well.

Yelp
Minnesota lunch, good Yelp reviews = delicious food first thing I have to say is you will LOVE the green sauce!!! I ordered Yuca Frita, pork with salad and the tapioca pudding with coconut and sesame seeds and I enjoyed every little bit of all! Very humble, casual place but friendly service. Our server was helpful, nice and friendly! Strongly recommend it!!!

Yelp
Went on Valentine's Day for dinner with my brother and husband. The service was incredibly fast. I ordered the chicken Chilaquiles bowl which Server said wasn't too bad and personally found it to be way too spicy though. Admittedly, I am a baby. Atmosphere was tight packed and casual, would not go with a group, but great for a quick weeknight drink. All their beer is local as well which is super cool.

Yelp
People on my team at work have been telling me I need to try Brasa after moving into Northeast so on a snow day a couple of weeks ago, there was no better time to walk on over and grab some takeout. Brasa is a cute little place right across the street from the White Castle. Brasa pays their employees a living wage so tipping is not expected which is nice to see in the restaurant industry. What's even more amazing is that with the good wages, they are still a rather inexpensive food option in the area with a very hearty meal costing you only about $15 total. I ordered online and the pickup was ready not too long after. When I went in, there were a few other people ordering and picking up in front of me, but the line moved really quickly. Me and my partner ordered a Rotisserie Chicken Bowl, a side order of smothered chicken, side order of sweet plantains, and a side order of Mac n cheese. Oh my god, this was soooooo good and everything I needed. The chicken bowl was like a yellow rice, sausage, and chicken mixture and it was just phenomenal. Very savory, and the chicken was cooked just right. You can easily taste the beautiful creole spices. The smothered chicken was somehow even better than the rotisserie chicken. The sauce it was smothered in was so delicious. Something else I should add is that this all came with some green special sauce on the side. I don't know exactly what was in it but wow that was one of the best sauces ever. It went perfectly with the bowl and the side order of smothered chicken. As for the sides, the sweet plantains were perfect. Sweet plantains are one of my favorite foods in the world and this place did them Justice. Not only that, but for pretty cheap, you can get a huge portion of them. Lastly, the macaroni cheese was also delicious, but with everything else we ordered being so perfect, this one didn't stand out. And that's really saying something because it was great Mac n cheese. I will be coming back here sooo many times. Everyone needs to come here.

Yelp
This location is small so there might be a wait. Service is outstanding! The menu options were great. I got the Catfish bowl, collard greens and a salad. The Catfish was delicious in the bowl! The macaroni and cheese lacked seasoning so I had to add salt and pepper..the coleslaw was good but the yams/sweet potatoes were horrible. Our table didn't like them at all. The collard greens were ok. Also the food was not hot minus the catfish. The prices were good for what they were serving I was pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
Had a lovely lunch outside on Brasa's beautiful patio! It was hot but their umbrellas provided some much needed shade. I got the rotisserie chicken plate which was 2 pieces of chicken and a side. I chose their side salad, which was romaine lettuce, tomatoes, ranch, and sunflower seeds which added a nice crunch! My friend and I also had some crispy yuca fries to share with their famous green sauce! They were super crispy and filling, and I love their green sauce. I like that you order from a QR code and they bring out your food and that's pretty much the interaction you get from the servers- left way more time for deep conversation with my friend! Tipping was also included which is a nice convenience.

Yelp
I loved the service here and the set up. My favorite is their greens. I will be going back again.

Yelp
Low Quality food. Ordered a chicken bowl. (Yellow Rice and Pigeon Peas, Ham Sofrito, Chopped Chicken and Andouille-Tomato Gravy) The bowl was 98% Rice with a random green olive slice maybe 1 entire olive sliced in 3-pieces. The Ham/sausage didn't improve the taste, and the Gravy? what gravy? The chicken was FLAVORLESS, very reminiscent of store-bought rotisserie with NO seasoning except Salt-brine? If you want FAKE southern food - eat here. For those of us that want to eat happy - NEXT....!

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place for awhile and was excited when a couple of my coworkers wanted to go try it too! Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. There is very little parking, so you will probably end up parking in the street. This is not a very large location and it fills up quickly! If you are wanting to sit around and chat with people for awhile, this is not the place. Because it is so busy and small, you really need to eat and then leave. With it being so busy, you would assume the food is beyond amazing but that was not what we experienced. The service was very friendly and everyone was super nice! We went around 5 and we were able to get a table right away! They do not do reservations, so get there early if you don't want to wait in a line. The food... the fried yuca and fried plantains were soooo dry! Luckily they serve both with a green sauce that was tasty! I saw another review suggest they should serve their plantains with a sweet sauce like a Carmel and I agree! The pulled pork was tender but very greasy! It was hard to enjoy with all the grease. My friends said the rotisserie chicken sandwich was good, but nothing special. She also found it weird that it was served with Tortilla chips but no dipping sauce for the chips. My other friend got the fried fish bowl with cheesy grits. Again this was fine but nothing to write home about. Overall I won't be back. I truly wanted to like this place and given all the exceptional reviews, may be we just had a bad experience. Give it a try and see for yourself

Yelp
Visiting MPLS for the first time. I looked up "soul food" restaurants and this place popped up. It was close to my hotel and I didn't have a lot of time. I'm giving it 3 stars because I was expecting food like Sylvia's (Harlem) or Harold's (Chicago). I was looking to eat a meal and have the "itis" afterwards. I would describe Brasa as suburban comfort food made by three women named Karen who got their recipes from a book they found on Amazon. If they had potato salad (they didn't), I bet that they would put raisins in it.
google avatar

Samir M.

Yelp
Higher price and smaller portions. We've been eating at Brasa for years. We just ordered takeout from Brasa after a few months and was really disappointed. The food was absolutely fine but I spent more money and noticed the portions are now smaller. The cost of the Mac n cheese was not worth $12, from a portion perspective. The rotisserie chicken portions seemed smaller than what we've eaten before. I'm happy to support local restaurants but this was not a good value for money. If prices increase, at least keep the portion sizes the same. Such a shame...because we are probably not coming back to any of the locations.
google avatar

Yelp
Always enjoy the food at Brasa! This visit was no different. The pork is my favorite here. Moist and good flavor. Wish it was closer to home as parking fills quickly.

Yelp
On THE TOP of my Twin Cities Eatery List!! Wow, sooo sooo good. For the food, the service, and the mission. Brasa is a no tipping operation! Their menu prices support premium ingredients, $16-$25 wages, paid time off, and insurance! To top it off, their prices aren't even outrageous, if anything they're better than standard! Menu items range from ($12-$16) for entrees which is super affordable. I got the slow roasted pork plate ($14.25) and I still think about it till this day. The juiciest pulled pork I have ever had. You can feel it melting in your mouth with bits of juice and fat. SOOO GOOOOD. And the corn bread, delicious!! I will definitely be coming back here.
google avatar

Alexandra Y.

Yelp
You get a lot of food! It's a small quant location. Park on the street as the parking lot is small. Did I say you get a lot of food!? For about $14/15 for a bowl, you get 2 meals out of it! We couldn't finish all our food. I had the smothered chicken bowl and my husband had the fried catfish bowl. We like the catfish, but it was almost too much breading that you couldn't see the or taste fish. Overall everything had great flavor! We will definitely go again!!
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
I owe a secondary review. Brasa's food is delicious. I've ordered takeout from the Hopkins location and have dined in, done takeout and delivery from the NE location. All meals have been delicious. The chicken is yummy, well seasoned, well cooked, and always consistent. I've tried a variety of the sides, most tbh, and for me their greens are hands down my favorite. The sleeper on the menu for me is the curry. It is DELICIOUS. The pineapple pop is finger licking chefs kiss YUM. They give you the option to add chicken, tonight I did, but trust me, the curry is so good it's not needed. Brasa is just plain good, in the best ways possible. Service is always super fast, team is friendly and personable. Also super diverse. Just an awesome place for a consistently good meal at an excellent value. Again, if you haven't tried the curry, please do. It's crave worthy, not spicy, just seasoned and f'n yummy.

Yelp
It has been ages since I have done a vacation away from home during Christmas. It has been years since I didn't cook on Christmas Day. I needed to find something special food-wise for Christmas. I did some research before I travelled to the Twin Cities and found Brasa Rotisserie. This place offered catering for Christmas meals. Perfect! I placed my order online while I was still in Markham. All pickups were scheduled for December 23. I specified the 4 pm timeslot for my pickup. I paid with a credit card. It was such an easy process. I got an e-mail reminder a couple of times, including instructions on how to heat up everything and a map that indicated where to pick up my food. So great! I also got a text message to confirm that I was going to pick up my order the day before. I loved how organized this eatery was. After doing a bunch of shopping last Thursday, I drove over to Brasa to pick up my order. It's in a part of Minneapolis that I am not familiar with, but loved meandering over here to check the neighbourhood out. There were yellow signs at the triangular intersections where Brasa is on where to go for catering pickups. The best way to think about it is that Brasa is where the triangle's base is. The catering pickup area is where the triangle's tip is. It's basically driving along East Hennepin Avenue and hanging a right. I got a man who signalled me to park closest to the catering building's entrance. I was ten minutes early, but he was good with it. He asked for my first and last names. He then got his colleague to get my box of food. He loaded up my passenger side with it. I thanked him and happily drove off. I needed to head back to the hotel and shove all my food into the fridge, as I was out and about in the evening. I walked past the man at the front desk who is probably used to my hauling in a box of something food-related these days and said hi. I was elated putting each carefully labelled and sealed item into my fridge. I was looking forward to Christmas and feasting. My catered food consisted of these items, which is more Creole comfort food with a few twists: - Rotisserie chicken - Mashed potatoes - Honey-buttered mini cornbread - Mustard and cider-glazed smoked ham - Yellow rice with pigeon peas and smoked ham - Collard greens - Chicken gravy - Spinach salad with gouda and cranberries - Cider vinaigrette - Crispy onions - Butterscotch pudding The meal was outstanding! Everything was yummy and comforting. The chicken was flavourful and there was a lot of it. I ended up slicing the meat because there was so much of it. The mashed potatoes lasted a few days. I loved them. With the gravy, it was perfection. I got so many slices of the mustard and cider-glazed smoked ham. I ended up making sandwiches and they were terrific. Not too salty. Full of smoky, mustardy goodness. The yellow rice with pigeon peas and smoked ham was such a wonderful side. I thought that perhaps the ham would be too much with the actual ham slices, but the small cubes added depth to the rice. Collard greens. It's not Creole cooking without them. They were done so well. They screamed comfort and I was sad that they were gone. I absolutely loved the spinach salad with gouda and cranberries. I poured some of the cider vinaigrette on top and it was the most fabulous salad that I have had in ages. It was so full of flavour. I have never used finely shredded gouda in a salad. I need to. Yum! I added the crispy onions to both my main dish and the salad. It doesn't matter where you put them. Crispy onions rock! I grew up with Laura Secord butterscotch pudding as a kid. I grew tired of it. However, I could never get tired of the butterscotch pudding here. It wasn't overly sweet, it was free of fake colouring, and it tasted so good. I was sad that I finished the small tub of it. The portions that Brasa dished out were generous. I am so glad that I found this place. I hope to dine in or order takeout from the restaurant in future. If you want quality home cooking without doing it yourself, come here. (497)

Yelp
We went around 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon mid August. The place was 3/4 filled so we chose the patio. The patio was nice. They have umbrellas to keep the sun off your back, today was overcast so the sun wasn't an issue. They have options to eat inside or eat on the patio. If you choose to eat on the patio everything is self service. If you eat inside you will have a server. For my first time being there I would have rather had a server. It's nice to ask the server what they would recommend. When you sit out on the patio you scan a QR code and order via your smartphone. You also pay with your smartphone. The food was delicious!! Rotisserie Chicken was fall off the bone tender. I added the Brasa spicy vinegar to my collard greens.. it's definitely spicy! Watch out, and. Consider yourself warned. The chicken sandwich was very good.. a bit messy but delicious nonetheless. Tortilla chips were average bag tortillas nothing special. The candied yams were very good. Definitely worth ordering. The cornbread was amazing as well... the kind that would make grandma smile, yeah that good! I'll be back and would recommend.

Yelp
Awesome comfort food. We got the pork sandwich, side of chicken, and Yuka fries with green sauce! Homey setting and great service with even better food. Parking lot is small so street parking might be the best option at this location.

Yelp
The usual Brasa style place. Not fancy, but nice to be. The is fine and the beverages are Ok. The only problem is the temperature of the room, too cold always. The food, therefore gets cold almost immediately. Service is great and the place is clean. Appreciate that. Not too easy to find lately

Yelp
We used Brasa for our wedding food and the whole experience was fantastic. Their catering managers were so helpful in guiding us through this experience and responsive. The staff that were there at our wedding were so attentive, went out of their way to help with set up, and very friendly. Couldn't recommend their catering service more!!!

Yelp
Great food & service by Sarah & Riley on a very busy day. Would recommend highly! Nice location in quiet Mpls neighborhood.

Yelp
Review is for Brasa's catering for a recent corporate event Rachel was who I worked with to get a catering for 30+ people. She was super friendly, thoughtful, and responsive to our needs. The menu was clear, easy to understand, and fit what we were looking for - buffet style, veg / non-veg, gluten, delivery all at a reasonable price point ($15 / person) Ordered - Buffet of Pulled Pork, Rotisserie Chicken, Curry + Two Sides (4/5). The food was on-point. It was large portions that came in trays and was still piping hot. The food was pretty good. The rotisserie chicken is not Costco-level but was meaty and tender. The pulled pork was a little salty so make sure to chase it with some of the orange rice Enjoyed it and I'm sure we'll cater more in the future.

Yelp
Not sure if this sandwich is still on the menu, it's been a few months since I visited Brasa. But for anyone wondering, it was the vegan bbq tofu sandwich. Everything we ordered was delicious and service was great. First timers, just a warning it's quite small but during the warmer months it looks like they have outdoor seating available.

Yelp
Food was very flavorful and delicious. A unique combination of flavor profiles combined with a relaxing afternoon of Cuban music. I had smothered chicken, greens, and Mac and cheese.

Yelp
I've been multiple times now and it never disappoints. Flavorful food, quick service and great prices. We are both creatures of habit and order the rotisserie chicken bowl and the roasted pork bowl. When I say there is no such thing as a bad bite in these dishes, I mean it. You could have just the rice and be just as satisfied with the flavors as you would if you got a bite combining the adouille sausage, gravy, rice and chicken. I recommend adding an egg to any dish if you are hungry, the yolk always cooked to runny perfection. One of our go to places when we want to eat out without going overboard.

Yelp
I've been here before and LOVE their plantains. Had a little time before work and wanted a healthier/tastier option than fast food. Stopped in here for happy hour and mentioned to the server I had to leave within 10-15 minutes. She helped me to deter from the fried fish taco as it would take a bit longer (have to come back!) Food came out and I could take a bite of everything then pack it up and go on to work. Not my favorite way to enjoy a meal but girls gotta do what girls gotta do. Everything is so flavorful and well put together. Always a hit!

Yelp
Great chicken almost like Boston Market grill but better and fantastic sides and the prices are very reasonable. Great deserts.

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here for a while and it didn't disappoint! I got the smothered chicken with rice and black beans and my husband got the roasted pork bowl. I would give my smothered chicken a 4/5 as it was good but I really loved the pork bowl because there was more flavor! Next time I go I am definitely getting a bowl. The yuca fries are also great, the sauce that comes with it is the highlight! The sweet tea was refreshing and delicious as well!

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant in the twin cities. I love everything about their customer service, their incredible food, and the way that they create a communcal space for everyone to come together.

Yelp
The best bowls ever for take away! The chicken is juicy and well seasoned. The veg curry was superb. Greens- immaculate. (Not pictured, although they were slightly smoky and rich). And the tapioca pineapple pudding (not pictured because it was promptly inhaled) is insane. Go here, get take away, you won't regret it.

Yelp
Great chicken dishes with big portions! A great place to come if you're in the mood for great food, casual-cute ambiance, and a beer.

Yelp
Good service, and kind of a smaller seating area but looks like they do have outdoor seating when it's warm out! The food is fantastic, and it's a generous serving size so I had leftovers to take home.

Yelp
Wait a minute!!! I just came across this location last week . What a great space. The food was fantastic. The waitress, great. The only issue I had was we waited a long time for our food and there was only one other table in the place. You know, covid has gutted these places so I can't be mad. Just never have some place you 'have to be' at a certain time. Sit, have a drink and enjoy this food. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Love Brasa! The food is homemade and delicious. Would've been five stars except two things: (1) used to have the best mac & cheese in the city... baked with Panko/breadcrumbs on top. Amazing. Now it's very common place noodles and cheese sauce. Such a huge loss. Secondly, it would be delightful if you had decaf coffee. Thank you.

Yelp
Loveeee Brass. My favorite things to get are the Mac and cheese, the sweet plantains and their lemon pound cake. I think their chicken could use a bit more seasoning but that's a personal preference. I could drink a whole can of that delicious mojo sauce. They have delivery too!

Yelp
Seriously, don't miss eating here. I started out to take pictures of my food but I just wanted to eat! Service with a smile, clean restaurant, delicious food at reasonable prices. I should mention that business associates ordered takeout from here yesterday so we got to sample a few items and they all were delish. So today, I wanted the full menu options and some more of those greens! I had a rotisserie chicken plate that came with 2 pieces of chicken and a side (I chose collard greens which were smoky tender and had bits of meat). I also ordered fried plantains which were perfectly fried to be a little crisp on the ends and a piece of delicious sweet savory cornbread. The meal was served with green sauce (lime cilantro concoction) on the side. I also had the lemon pound cake. I am not in Minneapolis often, but I tend to make a stop whenever I am. Comfort food perfection.

Yelp
I was disappointed and disgusted the staff didn't wear gloves when bussong them tables. Y'all. I felt bad watching this guy clean up out our plates like dude you're not wearing gloves? This is obviously a problem from poor management.
