On the Grid : Brasa Roja

"Colombian-style cuisine is the name of the game here and one of the more authentic settings you’ll find in the area. Named by TimeOut Chicago as one of the best “Cheap Eats” in the entire city, you can walk out with a rotisserie half-chicken dinner with potatoes, cornmeal arepa and fried plantains for under $8." - Bark Design

Best Grilled and Roasted Chicken in Chicago | Eater Chicago

"This mom-and-pop Colombian restaurant gets the charcoal fire going in the early morning and doesn’t stop until everyone’s satisfied. Diners can watch the action up front, where the chickens are seasoned in a secret recipe and roasted for two hours over an open flame. It’s also quite affordable — a whole chicken will only set you back $14.95." - Eater Staff

Brasa Roja Review - Downtown - Las Vegas - The Infatuation

"Last night has left you with just the twenty that you hide in your sock for emergencies, a lost wallet, and a 4pm meet-up with your kind but annoyed Uber driver. When you need something for lunch in the meantime, but your friends refuse to lend you money for the seventh time, head to Brasa Roja, a Colombian restaurant just five minutes north of the Strip. At $4.95, the steak and chicken specials, both of which come with rice, beans, and salad, are the answer - and if you get an extra order to go, that driver might not be quite so angry." - Edward Thompson

I had been wanting to check this place out forever. Finally went there 2 days ago. SO, happy it was not a disappointment. I ordered the steak and chicken entrée (added rice/beans) and my friend ordered the lamb. We also ordered empanadas for starters. Very good, however, a lot of potato and not much meat filling (only option is beef). They gave me a lot of steak and chicken plus a lot of starch (potato, plantains and casava). My friend's lamb was delicious too. Our waitress was friendly and sevice was relatively fast (it was 3pm and folks were picking up food while other tables were filling up). Wondering if other locations have the same menu.

Good food. Good service. Priced right. The bsthroom could be cleaner. 5/20 updates continue to be an excellent restaurant. My server was outstanding, cheerful and unbelievable friendly.10/7/23 place improved with better ventilation. Excellent Food and service.

Update on my original review. You must get a whole chicken. It is an amazing deal, for 17.95 you get the chicken, whole potatoes, arepa, and plantains. Definitely enough for a hungry person.

Takeaway: Some of the best roast chicken I've eaten - fast service and extremely reasonable prices! Context: Had lunch here by myself (earlier in the day). Haven't eaten a lot of Colombian food specifically before, but have definitely eaten tons of roast chicken and empanadas What I Got: Empanada de Carne (8/10) Empanada with beef and potato filling served with aji. I read a lot of complaints about these empanadas not tasting super fresh, but when I got them at ~11AM -they were hot and perfect. The filling was great - soft beef and potatoes with an intense umami. The casing left a bit to be desired though and was a bit on the thicker side for my personal tastes. Half Rotisserie Chicken (8.5/10) Half of a rotisserie chicken served with potatoes, corn pancake, and plantain. First of all - I think the chicken was just incredible. The skin was immaculately crispy and the meat itself was tender and juicy - even the breast which I typically don't like. Flavor-wise it wasn't the strongest, but that was fine for me considering how great the chicken itself was (I used the aji that came with the empanadas, which I liked, but don't know if that's what folks do). The potatoes and arepa were very normal, but I quite liked the sweet plantain! Extremely sweet and the right amount of caramelization. Soursop Juice (8/10) Just a great soursop juice - pulpy and sweet. Don't see these everywhere so was a pleasant surprise! I read a lot of complaints about the service here, but I personally didn't encounter any problems. Potentially could be because I went so early and there was only one other table at the time, but wanted to note that I didn't experience any problems personally!

Google
Solid 4 stars. Chicken is delicious. Wish it was a bit more done so you can enjoy the skin. Good value for your money.

Google
I love grilled chicken, and this chain has some of the best, but also some great fish and beef dishes! Try the "sancocho", delicious, and you can even get rabbit, many likes in one place! I really like all they serve, and the prices, very, VERY affordable

Google
The best Rotisserie chicken that I tried ever. I don't know what's their secret, but it tasted so good! Plus the prices are very fair for the amount of food you're getting. I definitely will be back!

Wow, what a great place to take our production crew! We recently wrapped on a long day of commercial work and we had just enough time to walk over to the Pulaski and Addison location. Talk about a suuuuuuuuper friendly staff. The food was “buenísimo” and so traditional. Also, the menu totally fit our budget and the BYOB only sweetens the deal. We shall return! La Brasa Roja, always a good call. 🥘

Yelp
Ordered to go and everything was very quick and pretty much ready as soon as i ordered. But besides that everything was just okay. Chicken was okay nothing special and the side of potato ,plantains and sad looking corn pancake felt like an afterthought not much going on with them either. Only thing that made it somewhat enjoyable was the side of green salsa. Ordered a beef empanada and they might as well rename it to potato empanada but i can complain too much it was only a dollar and some change for one.

Yelp
I got the rotisserie chicken and it was delicious. They were not busy when I went but it was early in the evening. The service is good and they bring your food quickly.

Yelp
Muy pocas opciones en el menú pero muy buen sazón, muy buen servicio y precios muy accesibles

Yelp
1 Star I had a very disappointing experience at Las Brasas Rojas. From the moment we walked in, the service was awful. We were seated quickly, but then it took forever for anyone to take our order. Our server was rude and seemed uninterested in helping us, barely checking in throughout the meal. When we finally received our food, it was a huge letdown. The quality was terrible--everything was overcooked and lacked any flavor. The steak was tough and chewy, and the sides tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. To make matters worse, the portions were small and definitely not worth the high prices. Even the presentation was lacking; it looked like no care was put into preparing the dishes. We had high hopes for this place, but it felt like a complete waste of time and money. There was no apology or effort to make up for the bad experience from the staff. I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend Las Brasas Rojas to anyone looking for good food or decent service. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Yelp
02/11/22 - I've driven by before & have eaten at their Montrose location. They have a good rotisserie chicken meal @ an outstanding price. For $7.95 you get 1/4 chicken, beans, rice & a cabbage salad w/carrots. The price use to be $5.95 pre Covid but what hasn't gone up? It's still an excellent value. You can't even get fast food @ the big junk food chains for less anymore Brasa Roja also has a steak, beans, rice & salad lunch meal for $7.95 (next time). They have a rotisserie rack in the front w/multiple chickens being cooked over an open flame. Excellent value & very good food. They now have 3 locations. The original one @ 3120 W Montrose Avenue This one @ 3556 N Pulaski Ave & one @ 4011 N Elston Ave Excellent rotisserie chicken cooked to perfection w/very good beans. This also comes w/rice & a shredded cabbage & carrot salad. They also have a special ribeye steak for lunch @ the same $7.95 value meal (NEXT TIME)

Yelp
I wanna say that today 07/16/23 I went to the store to buy food for my family and it turns out that when I got home I found a red hair on a plate. I called the store to report it and I don't know what bothered me more if the hair in the food or the response from the person who answered the phone, she told me that it was not true that no one with dyed hair worked there, as if I had called to ask them if They believed me or not. I have been a client of the place for a long time but I am forced to make this public complaint since there is no one to contact to make a formal report and at least receive an apology for the incident.

Yelp
5 for 5 for the always great Roasted chicken Healthy and tasteful. The severs in red are nice and tentative The servers in black not so nice. You'll know when your in but never the less a Great taste of Colombia.

Olga S.

Yelp
I have been a customer for many years but it has been getting worse service and food. I went there this evening and the chime was very dry and whoever takes care of the chicken in front of cut it wrong and got just skin and bone. Their salsa it's so watery it doesn't taste like salsa. They raised their prices and they serve less food!! I understand the pandemic but I think this owners it's taking advance of that!! And quality of the food and service it's poor!!

Yelp
I am a customer at this place, and I love their garlic chicken and "matrimonio." I called to pick up four plates for a home gathering but I couldn't remember the name of the matrimonio. The person on the phone told me that there was no dish like that at the restaurant and told me to go look at the menu and call back, seemingly bothered by my questions. I had already looked at the Google menu on my phone but decided to look a second time, just in case. Again, I did not see the matrimonio. Instead, I called back and ordered what I believed was the garlic chicken and "matrimonio." What I got, instead, was a "steak special" and "chicken special," which turned out to be not really that special. Between the four plates I ordered (which all come with rice and beans) and the separate side beans I ordered, I ended up with more rice and beans than I cared for. Overall, this was a very unsatisfying and unpleasant experience, considering that I called over the phone precisely to avoid the situation and because I had hungry guests at home waiting for their lunch. To be fair, the restaurant's menu on Google does have descriptions and pictures, but if I was calling over the phone, it is because I am more comfortable over this medium and the restaurant staff perhaps should make an effort to cater to these customers instead of the summarily refer them to online menus. I feel that this is a misunderstanding that could have been avoided by more courteous over-the-phone service. When I called back, the other person that picked up the phone knew right away the plate that I was referring to (the "matrimonio").

Yelp
Food was good a while back when we got some dinner to go. We were there with my family this week. My goodness rice was ice cold, chicken pieces we got served were burnt. Service was acceptable. Food very undesirable, one of my relatives got food poisoning and ended up in urgent care!!!! Chicken just sits by the warmer all day... avoid this location and place at all costs!!!!!

Barbara B.

Yelp
The chicken was so dry and burn like the chicken was old and 28:00 dollars not worth it at all the arepas dry and hard and so greasy NoNever again

Yelp
I'd been passing this place for awhile, en route to pick up my niece from school and finally had the time to stop and give it a try. I ordered the half rotisserie that comes with plantains, a potato and corn pancake. Chicken was cooked and seasoned really well. I didn't know that the dinners didnt come with rice and beans unless it SPECIFICALLY says it. The rice and beans are delicious though! Be sure to pay attention to the $5.95 specials they have. It comes with tons of food.

Yelp
I come here often for the 7.99 meal, it's really a steal! I would get the chicken meal with the flattened chicken breast, both my son and I would eat from one meal and still have left overs but not today! They're prices went up (everything is going up, so I'm ok with the additional 2$) but the amount of chicken given was half of the usual!!! Wtf!!! The prices increase and the food decreases! What a shit show, and they charged me 1.50 extra to add a garlic topping. .... No thanks. Dissatisfied.

Yelp
It's the second location of Brasa Roja, on the southwest corner of Pulaski and Addison. Hubby and I have done takeouts there several times, and we always go for their whole rotisserie chicken meal ($13.95, as of 10/30/2016). The rotisserie chicken meal came with, of course, the whole chicken cut up by the "maestro de pollo," plantains, potato, and salsa verde. I knew some loyal patrons complained about the price increase, but I still thought the deal was decent and could easily feed two (2) people. The entire takeout process was extremely speedy. We went straight to the cashier in the back, paid for the meals, headed back to the person who was stationed at the rotisserie oven by the entrance. It took about five (5) minutes. The guests in my house genuinely enjoyed the the juicy and flavorful chicken. We ordered two (2) combos for four (4) individuals. Guess what? There was still leftover for at least one (1) more round. I don't think there is a designated customer parking lot for this Brasa Roja location. Street parking can be found along Pulaski and Addison. Otherwise, CTA #53 bus (Pulaski), #152 (Addison), and Irving Park Blue Line station (approximately 10-min walk) are also reliable options.

Yelp
So I was up north on business and happened to see this place while at a stop light. As soon as I saw it was a Columbian restaurant, I thought I'd give it a try and was glad I did. I decided to just take out. I ordered the chicken and steak special. I also ordered the empanadas as I consider myself an empanada connoisseur. But I really ordered the empanadas because I live south, and I knew I had a long ride home before I could eat my food. As soon as I got, my truck cracked the bag open and pulled out one of the empanadas. I'm not saying this just to be nice, but this was absolutely the best empanada I've ever had in my life. I was so mad that I only ordered two and I couldn't eat the 2nd one because I promised my wife lunch and it took every ounce of energy in me not to eat that 2nd empanada. The empanada made it home, and my wife loved it as well. The chicken and steak specials were both served with rice and beans, all of which were fantastic. All of the meat was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. You can taste a smokiness from being cooked over the open charcoal. The staff was really nice and the food came out promptly. My only regret is that I didn't order more empanadas as well as more chicken and steak. I will definitely be back to this place.
google avatar

Kenton C.

Yelp
It's good and you should try them. Just wished empanadas were more fresh. It doesn't take long for them to warm em. You'll really like em but they could be breath taking if fresh made that day.
google avatar

Yelp
Perfect spot for a quick wholesome meal, prices are so reasonable...side dishes run +/-$2.50 and my 2piece chicken meal for $5.90! ...and fresh too !
google avatar

Julissa C.

Yelp
One of my favorite Colombian restaurants! The chicken is amazing!! My favorite dish is the churrasco steak... yummm!
google avatar

Guillermo M.

Yelp
I really like Brasa Roja. Is a family restaurant, cute place, not a fancy one. What I like the most, besides the chicken of course, are the arepas with cheese. If you order a half or whole chicken you get potatoes, plantains and a small arepa that indeed is almost always dried, therefore, order a cheese arepa so you can enjoy a good one, is just $2.50 The juices are very good, I ordered guanábana. Be brave and taste something Colombian. In comparison to other Colombian places, read my other reviews, in this place you will find many, almost all, Colombian people. The prices are really good.

Dante G.

Yelp
Foods good but just gotta be patient because they're usually always busy, their empanadas are great

P C.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Great environment, good music and really friendly service. Loved their pork belly and steak dinner! You get a lot of food for your money so order wisely!

Yelp
Brasa Roja is a relatively new location on Pulaski just south of Addison. It's a casual and family-friendly Colombian restaurant with a brilliantly colorful interior that makes it seem like you are dining in some cool little Colombian town. My friend and I each ordered their combination plate full of local specialties. There was chorizo sausage, carne asada, pork skin, arepa, plantain, white rice, beans, and avocado. That is a lot of food on one plate! A little too much fat on the meat though. I had some leftovers, but I did save some room for a serving of dense and rich flan. The mango juice was quite tasty too. Their menu seems loaded with tempting items like roast chicken, and I would be very curious to try the rabbit sometime.

Nicholas M.

Yelp
It's been a good 7 months since I've lived in the Villa/Irving Park neighborhood, and only once have I checked out this wonderful Colombian restaurant right on Addison and Pulaski called 'Brasa Roja', a little less than a week ago too! Oh why did I make myself wait? The food here is incredible. I was looking for a quick bite to eat one day before heading to work, so i didn't want to go far to grab some lunch. La Biznaga was closed so I thought 'Why not Brasa Roja'? I stopped by and got their steak, rice, beans and salad combo for a fair price of $6. My God, such rich flavors. The steak was something fierce. The rice and beans, man...a side so simple on paper, but how they made it here was something I hadn't tasted before. Seriously great stuff. Definitely willing to explore their menu. Looks like a great place to bring a date, some friends and of course, the family. Don't pass these guys by! Amazing food!

Christian G.

Yelp
This used to be a Chicago Gem, now it's just garbage focused on profits. Customer service went down the drain. Small cups of sauce are an extra dollar a piece. So make sure your bring your 1'$ out. I'm all for paying more to keep a great establishment running, but not to see it forget about its customers. Used to take girls, family, and Chicago new comers here. Brasa Roja is off the list.

Yelp
Came here with my mother and sister and our kids who are all under the age of 8. We tell the waiter we want 2 split checks. He declines. I told him "that should be on the menu of split checks". We get over it since we pay cash. Now I went with my Mother sister and our Kids. I brought my kids 3 and 8. My sister brought her kids 1 and 3 and my mother came alone. I couldn't believe that they charged us for gratuity for kids. Mind you our kids are from our plates since they are minors and don't have a kids menu. Been here a good amount of times but that was the first for me at that location compared to Montrose.
google avatar

Yelp
I'am really disappointed about this food, the fried plantains were extremely greasy and seems it been cooked with old oil !
google avatar

Scott H.

Yelp
This place is the epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside it's a little scary, wedged between a couple of other grimy looking businesses, but the chicken special is so solid that I have to eat the leftovers on my wife and kids plates because I cant get enough. Ridiculously good value as well. Always enjoy an affordable great meal.

Yelp
I used to looooove going to this restaurant but this time that I picked up from there was the saddest thing! I always order the same thing (a steak special with tostones) it was originally like around $6 now it's $7.95 and it's the same serving with this so called "salad" which is only cabbage and shredded carrots... The tostones they used to serve were ALOT bigger and than they are now which were actually worth the price of $3.95 now for 4 tostones and they're tiny!!! I'm so disappointed... I thought the beans would be as delicious as they were but now they're bland I had to add some salt to get some flavor out of them ughh overall I don't think I'll be going back so ask next time for prices and tell them to add salt to the tostones

Stephen B.

Yelp
After eating at their location in Las Vegas, experiencing great service and even better food, we had to return home to Chicago. Today, a friend and I decided to go to the Addison and Pulaski location in Chicago. Massive disappointment! Was it because the owner is currently in Las Vegas? The steak was like leather; the Plantains had a reddish green color, terrible flavor, needless to say we didn't eat it. I received a refund on one meal along with a free desert , which I didn't eat. My husband and I have purchased the roasted chicken from the Montrose location and have thoroughly enjoyed it. So I'm confused. Is the Pulaski/Addison location owned by the same people?
google avatar

Lizette M.

Yelp
If you want authentic Colombian food DO NOT come in here. Yes the food is cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. The chicharrón was pure fat, the beef empanada was potatoes with a tiny bit of shredded chicken, and then I ask for an arepa con queso and I get those arepas you find in the fridge section of any generic Latino supermarket that wasn't even properly reheated and had absolutely no cheese. To make matters worse I asked for a passion fruit juice and the waitress starts to make it after a good 25 minutes with warm sink water.

Yelp
I love brasa Roja, food is so good and service is excellent, matrimonio plate is a good option with steak and grill chicken
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place. The rotisserie chicken is amazing and so are the empanadas, plantains and arepas. They also have 5.99 specials and the plates are pretty big. Can't never go wrong with this place.

Yelp
DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! As I'm currently sitting at this god awful place... My son in-law has yet to receive his appetizer, after an hour of ordering it. There was no juice for my grandbabies... Our drinks arrived AFTER we all had finished eating out meal. I asked for extra plates for my grandbabies... they never arrived... and this place is not even full. We came here raving about the food to my son in-law... but the service provided soured the experience. You've lost 6 clients for sure. NEVER coming back!!! ***UPDATE*** WHILE we were waiting to pay... yes we waited another 10 minutes to pay... Sara tells me... MOM LOOK AT THE KITCHEN... The employees were handling food with BARE HANDS, ALL THE WHILE coming in and out of the kitchen, toching doors, counters and then going back to the kitchen to handle MORE FOOD WITHOUT WASHING THEIR HANDS Then get back to the table to find out the inept waiter drenched my purse that was on the chair with a cup of water... I told the manager, she just stood there and said she would speak to him... did NOTHING to rectify the repulsive service we received!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been at Brasa Roja multiple times but not this location. I remember when they had one next to my apartment at Irving park. I didn't expect much when I came in here as it's just another neighborhood restaurant and nothing fancy. If I remember it correctly we had rib eye and skirt steak. I've enjoyed it throughly. You can taste the charcoal and the seasoning very well. I can definitely come and stop by again soon for a quick meal.

Yelp
As I'd stated in my previous review and for a more detailed write-up, see my first review of this location. Their food is "peasant variety" and prepared with great flavor, the cost is inexpensive and you'll be surprised how far your dollars go. But, the food served here does not match the standards of their original location on Montrose avenue. I've tried this location more than a handful of times since my older review in 2013. I spaced out visits thinking maybe there were different cooks / roasting cooks. Usually placing the same order, a few full chickens with extra sides. Consistently, the meat was dryer than the juiciness of Montrose. I feel as though it's overcooked. Had others noticed this also? When ordering, this was often my shared plate at potlucks. Much of the time, the people I shared this meal with had never experienced La Brasa Roja, so, to them it was pretty good. It was tasty. But being that I've been to the original far more times than this location, I know which is the best. It's probably a solid 3.5 star. Good value but not as great as the original. (With every chicken meal a "discus" is received. It's some kind of bread component. I've never been a fan of it and frankly, I can't understand why anyone prepares it. I always chuck mine into the air once I've cleared the intersection. Some lucky Chicago rat, is happy for something other than McDonald's)

Yelp
I ordered the traditional dish bendeja paisa. I was in Colombia two weeks ago and I had the same dish. I would say it tasted pretty close. The arepas that I had were much bigger than what they served here however the food was still great for me

David G.

Yelp
This place does not tell people to wait in line for their turn. Waiting to place my order and some guy cuts me and another person in front of me. Waitress said nothing and continue. She watched the whole thing and said nothing. Left without placing an order. Terrible

Yelp
Came here with a party of five. The server tended to us promptly, we had Empanadas and Arepas to start. I recommend the empanadas! I had the special for 5.95!!! It comes with Grilled chicken, white rice, beans and a side salad. The food was really good, the chicken was grilled and charred just right. They could do better with service, we had to wait a little too long for our whole party to receive their food, which is the reason for only four stars. Great place to go for an early lunch.

Ken F.

Yelp
Was excited to try the chicken and was greatly disappointed again. I ordered to go and when I opened the box at home I thought it was a joke.. The chicken looked like it was a week old and plantains didn't look edible. It looked like leftovers for a starving dog. I used to love this place but the last few visits have been discouraging .. I hope they get their sh!t together soon.

Yelp
Since I've never tried Colombian food yet, my boyfriend and I decided to dine here on one of our date nights. First and foremost, I am extremely impressed and satisfied with the service we had here. Our waiter was very helpful and basically knew the menu like the back of his hand. Of course, since this was my first time eating Colombian food, he took the time to explain various dishes, how they were prepared, and what he thought tasted the best. We did not have to wait long at all after ordering our food. Our appetizers were brought to us promptly after ordering them and then our main dishes followed shortly after. The portion sizes were more than generous, especially the meat!! You get what you pay for and the food itself is delicious! My only complaint about this place is the parking. Since it's street parking, you have to hunt for a parking slot; however, it's definitely worth it! I'm looking forward to dining here again in the near future.

Yelp
Love this place. They have a meal deal for $5.95 where you can get chicken or rib eye with rice and beans and salad. It's awesome. I get the steak and it's thinly sliced but flavorful. I also get two servings of beans instead of rice and they are very good. Look, this is not going to some fancy shmancy steak house in the Gold Coast or river north and splurging $100 on a steak dinner. It's just really well prepared flavorful food. They get it out fast. And you can't beat the price...

Yelp

Yelp
The lamb, steak & chicken are delicious if a bit dry (maybe my fault for ordering it med/well). Roast plantains/potatoes are wonderful and must surely be comfort food somewhere. You might get a funny look from the server if you ask to order several empanadas (as you might in a Mexican place), because Colombian empanadas are HUGE! There's usually a thin beef broth with neck bones available if you're ravenous before the meal comes, it takes the hangry edge off. Always so much food that we have to share a dish OR take some home. That's a nice dilemma to have. Now, if the take-out containers could only be aluminum or paper and NOT extruded foam...

Yelp
Overpriced food, HORRIBLE service! I went to the restaurant with a party of 6, not once did the wait staff asked how's everything? Not once did they refilled our glasses of water. Customer service is very important in small businesses, that is the main reason why a lot of them go OUT of business. Please train your waitstaff to be more humble, educated and customer service friendly. Have them earn their tip, not expect it! Attach is a picture of a 4 waitstaff crew just chillin and standing like they aren't working!! Not returning!!! Ever!

Yelp
They have few locations and they never disappoint. I highly recommend their chicken but in general their food is great and most importantly fresh. I'm not gonna forget the guacamole they made for a party I was having. Never had better!

Yelp
Let me start by saying I've been here a handful of times. Each time everything was fine. Now the reasons for the 1 star review. I go there for a late dinner with my family as an early Father's Day diner since my father works Sunday. My father has the matrimonio, my sister has the pechuga de pollo al ajillo , I have the carne asada. We order empanadas de carne as an entre. The empanadas where fine nice warm and delicious. About 5 minutes later our plates come out. Everything was cold. My father asked for well done and he still had pink in his meat. We bring it to our waitresses attention her name is Irma Mejia. At first she is apologetic and takes the dishes back. Comes back out in under 5 minutes with the dishes. In my head I'm thinking there is no way they just remade these dishes. I give them the benefit of a doubt. I cut into my platter and the meat is now dry and hard. I ask my father and he agrees his meat and chicken breast are rock hard and dry. We bring it to Irma's attention and she then has an attitude and tells us what do you want me to do about it I'm just a waitress. At which point we ask for a manager. Lord behold there is no manager. Now I'm shocked at this. No manager must mean no one has a sanitation license? Well I was wrong turns out she has a sanitation license. She admits that the cooks put our food back on the grill instead of remaking the orders. That is a clear violation. We are given the owners number and I call right away. She did not answer the first time but did call back within 10 minutes. I must say I don't know who was more rude the owner or Irma. In short save your money and go around the corner to the McDonalds. You will get better treatment there than at Brasa Roja. Also they need to replace the red cups. Majority of them have chips along the rim of the cup. Someone can cut themselves.
