White Center’s Brass Knuckle Bistro Closes at the End of April - Eater Seattle

"White Center’s well-regarded sandwich shop, Brass Knuckle Bistro, is set to close after service on April 27. Owner Case Justham cited personal reasons in a Facebook post announcing the decision. A new restaurateur — whom Justham calls “an iconic local owner” — will take over, opening a new restaurant in the space soon after Justham vacates. Brass Knuckle Bistro will keep regular hours until the 27th, though menu items might run low as things wind down. Brass Knuckle Bistro opened in 2018 and carved out a name for itself with its from-scratch cooking and exceptional collection of sandwiches. Meat lovers and vegans both feel at home here, thanks to a menu that includes options like the Dixie Mafia, with buttermilk-brined fried chicken and Nashville hot pepper paste, and the Soy Cowboy, featuring ginger-garlic marinated fried tofu, pickled carrots and daikons, vegan chile shallot aioli, and cilantro." - Megan Hill

Food was great, the chili wasn't. More like out of a can than housemade. The place was trying really hard to be tough and devil may care. But eneded up with a weird table and floor decoration and where is the "a good and filling sandwich and soup shouldn't be more than 12 bucks" the facebook page was going on about when most of the sandwiches are at least that much alone

My new favorite spot for sandwiches !! If you are vegan this place is perfect if you have friends that aren't. They are very unique and innovative and the food is amazing. If I could I would live in their cupboards and eat all the scraps. They can make their buffalo fries vegan and they are so delicious, I can't wait to try the vegan parm sandwich. You can tell they put their heart into their food. I am seriously astonished by this place. Do not miss out on this if you get a chance to come here. So. Yummy.

Been here twice now and really enjoyed it. They have a great selection of hot sandwiches. Fries are always great and the folks that we've met there are very friendly. I'm looking forward to going back in and trying more things off their menu!

Cool new sandwich places in white center. Tons of variety in the sandwich options, had there take on the Cuban sandwich, pretty authentic tasting to me. Also the chili cheese fries was one of the best I had. The service is a little slow, when I came in, even though I was the only one, it still took 20 minutes to get my order. Will be back to try out some of the other sandwich options.

Everything I've tried here has been delicious. You can tell each item is a labor of love and has been perfected to be as tasty as possible. My favorites are the Companero (Cuban sandwich), the Big Bob, and the Dixie Mafia (spicy alert), but seriously everything is amazing. The fries are probably the best I've ever had and are not worth missing. Their cheese sauce is also addicting.
