First time visit. I have to say, I agree with reviewer Tara. I really don't see the rave. Is it a place for a bite to eat? Sure. Did the Panini look tempting after I finished? Yes. Is the service friendly? Absolutely. Is it worth $9 and up? Not really. For what I can get elsewhere, I don't need more, I expect that with all the great comments, I would have a sandwich that is par excellance and a rarity in PDX. No rarity here. Truth is, I've eaten better at a cart for the same price. Bottom line is the overpowering taste was of mustard and pepperocini. I combined both halves onto one half sandwich. For 9+ bucks that's how both sides should have been. Sure, there will be those that are willing to pay and if you live in the area, it's probably your go-to but if you're wanting to check it out, look elsewhere. I would like to think that 9 bucks still has some value more than what anyone is willing to pay out. I've been known to drive some distance just for food I know I can't get right in my neighborhood. In the end, this female owned biz as they state is doing something right since 2011 and they have a customer base that keeps them going. If you want quality, drive out to Beaverton to the Sub Station. That will be worth the drive...and money.

Friendly, chill staff, super yummy sandwiches with high quality ingredients. I built my own sandwhich with roast beef, avocado, provolone, lettuce, garlic aioli and dijon on ciabatta. It was perfect! Not a cheap sammy but definitely worth it. The roast beef was cooked perfectly and so succulent. They have a beer and a cider on tap and some in cans and bottles plus kombucha, and sodas. The place is teeny but if you go in between the breakfast and lunch rushes, you can get some quiet moments for a casual date.

Great Vegan options and friendly service! We were really impressed with the vegan meatballs. Thank you!

Lady on the phone was exceptionally rude while placing the order. Everyone inside was nice though. Got the vegan cashew cheese option for the grilled cheese and it’s definitely got more than just cashew cheese. Called and asked and it has a smoked something, red peppers, garlic, etc. that isn’t advertised or else I wouldn’t have gotten it. Wish I would’ve known ahead of time.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while, super customizable! the tomato jam and goat cheese go great together :)

A wonderful little sandwich shop in Northeast. You can have their items on the menu either as a sandwich or a salad. And don't forget to try the potato salad, it's just like how Grandma used to make it.

Delicious! Great gluten free bread options, not your typical teeny-tiny dry bread.

Just not that good every time I go. BLT during peak heirloom tomato season had unripe, flavorless tomatoes. Bacon was meh, ciabatta was dominating, aioli was thin.
