I want to give special thanks to Ara, who was truly one of the best waiters I’ve ever encountered. From the moment he approached our table, he was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. He went above and beyond to accommodate our requests with genuine kindness and patience. Every question we asked was met with a knowledgeable and thoughtful response. It’s clear he cares deeply about the restaurant and the experience of every guest. The food was excellent, I really enjoyed the haddock croquettes. We will be back!

On my walk by the Thames , walked in without reservation for lunch . Beautiful location & vista . Good pleasant welcoming service . Pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Michelin star affordable food with only one disappointment , the ' hoummus with pickled whitebeet ' was too salty for my taste . The rest of the food , smoked salmon with burreblanc then rum baba & blackberry burdock ice cream were sublime . Highly recommended . A peach of a place !

We were put in a table in the back and asked to sit by the window, but were told the only table left by the window was reserved. Ten minutes later another couple was also put in a table in the back and also asked to sit by the window, and were immediately accommodated in the only table left by the window. Not sure if it was a discrimination again us, or just poor staff training. Regarding food, dishes were either tasteless (the duck & peach starter) or very average (salmon), despite looking good. Drinks the same, the espresso martini was very poorly made. Service was ok, with the exception of the table incident. Ambience was the only really good thing. And because of the average quality, it was massively overpriced. Last but not least, in my reservation, I said it was a celebration and the staff did nothing to help me celebrate, not even an acknowledgement (any average restaurant will give you a small desert in any celebration). I don’t recommend this place and definitely won’t return. UPDATE: They replied to this review (see below) asking for my reservation details. I sent them to the email provided and never heard back, still waiting 2 months later - just confirming my initial experience of poor service.

Each plate was a visual and culinary delight, bursting with flavor and clearly prepared with top-quality ingredients. From the melt-in-your-mouth starters to the rich, satisfying mains and the indulgent desserts, it was impossible to pick a favorite. If you're looking for a refined dining experience in Fulham—especially one that combines privacy, impeccable service, and a menu that leaves a lasting impression—Constance Brasserie is an absolute must. A hidden gem we can’t wait to return to.

Went here when I was just passing by on my day off looking for a nice place for a drinki. Found this little gem with very welcoming people everywhere around starting from lady in the reception next to the lifts, finishing in restaurant on the first floor. What a view you have in there! Especially that I am a football freak, and an experienced hospitality worker. I haven't tried food yet, but menu looked good. Hopefully next time. :)

We have come to the brasserie twice over the last month. It’s local and fabulous. Nothing is a problem to the team here. I don’t eat dairy but chef, whose daughter is same, simply adjusted dishes to accommodate. We started with the oysters which were delicious and the vinaigrette was a real hit. We were three in total and two shared the cod and the third sister had skate wing. The food and vegetables were superb and we also enjoyed a good bottle of Gruner. The baked Alaska brought theatre and fond memories to the table . What more could we ask from an evening out at a rather wonderful local restaurant .

I will say this before I go any further. I did notify the colleagues at Brasserie Constance of what I have put here. One thing I never do is, when asked if everything is OK, say yes, then go away and type on social media or review sites and say what a disappointing time I've had. That's back hand remarking, cowardly, childish and rude. I'll start by saying what a magnificent venue this is, in a beautiful location. The greeting from Lucia (I hope I've spelt that correctly) was courteous, warm and felt genuine. I had drinks on the balcony while perusing the menu. The menu is inviting - there was so much I could’ve had but I wanted food that I don't usually eat. I started with a snack of Anchovy fingers which were delicious. My starter was the Coronation Chicken Pate En Croute. This looked and tasted very good. However, it wasn't pate, it was terrine. The terrine had good pieces of moist chicken and the other ingredients were very tasty as was the accompanying chutney. But, the pastry at the top of this dish was burnt which was disappointing. For main course I chose the skate wing, which was simply superb. Faultless cookery, full of flavour, softness, crunch and buttery. I loved it. Accompaniments were minted Jersey Royals and purple sprouting broccoli with hazelnuts. The broccoli was barely tepid. I did eat it as it was good, just not hot. Onto pudding. I didn't know what to choose so I asked Johnson, I think that was his name, what should I have. He recommended the walnut, date and rye tart. I said I imagined it to be a little bit like a treacle tart and he said it was a cross between a treacle tart and a sticky toffee pudding. I was sold! After he went away with my pudding order, a couple of minutes later, another server asked me if I would like dessert. I told the server that I'd placed my order. Then, a short while after that, another server asked me if I'd like dessert. A lack of communication here. When it came out I have to say that, as delicious and enjoyable as it was, the presentation for a venue like this, I found lack lustre. It was what I'd expect in a country pub or bog standard café. It was simply a slice of the tart on pouring cream. And finally. My wine. A young man came to top up my wine glass, towards the end of my meal, but one of the colleagues had already cleared away my glass. So that is my feedback. It is honest and I did speak up when I was at the restaurant. I did have a good time despite the whole experience not being what I'd expect from a venue under the name of the marvellous Adam Byatt. It's new and I'll give it another go when I get the chance. The purple sprouting was not charged to my bill, which was a good move. A big thank you for the colossal Madeline for my birthday, That was a lovely gesture. In summary, I feel confident that this venue will be up there with the best, very soon.

Wonderful location and great views over the river; sophisticated & impressive cooking; great 'theatre' with Baked Alaska trolley and hand carved Salmon; good service that will improve with experience and time; a beautiful restaurant which must have cost a fortune to build out; and music that seems a combination of 'lounge' and elevator music which needs to change. Bread was surprisingly complimentary and really good, whilst the starters were perfectly sized, beautifully presented and delicious (see photos). The crab vol au vent and braised leeks were excellent whilst the potted duck reminded me of duck rillette and was a little dull despite the peach. Unusually we felt that the main course portions were over generous - two large slices of fabulously rare beef rather than three would have been enough for the Sunday roast; four rather than six slices enough for the rolled stuffed chicken leg which was great if a little over salted. We couldn't finish either. (see photos of the dishes). This really is very high quality cooking. However with regard to portion size this is the opening weeks & I understand Adam Byatt might want the food portions to be copious. A couple of Coravin premium red wine choices is a good idea despite the fact that 175ml size requested looked under poured in the Riedel glasses. (see photos - can you spot the difference between 175ml and 125ml?) Finally at £100 per head Constance is not cheap but there are also other menu choices like omelettes at a lower price. Highly recommended and we will go back!
