"The 2,500-square-foot warehouse once home to Lantern Hall has an 18-seat bar and table-seating for 40 to 50 guests, Thompson says, with some tables running up against brewing equipment in the back of the building. A short, 4-foot tall fence sits between the seating and brewing areas, giving diners the chance to see right over it, Thompson says. Braven will offer 'a number of different beers that no one has seen from us before,' Thompson says. The brewery is now open with a limited menu but will eventually offer about a dozen options including a pilsner, summer ale, saison, and sour ale brewed with passionfruit, pink guava, and pineapple. White wine and coffee will also be on offer. The menu, created by chef Tori Valdes from Harper’s in Dobbs Ferry, features items like a burger drenched in beer cheese that comes in a pretzel bun and a fried chicken thigh served with buttermilk biscuits and sugar plum barbecue sauce. Crispy fried seitans are made in house, and vegetarian snacks include charred carrots, Brooklyn Grange baby greens, roasted beets, and crispy kale." - Carla Vianna

"New York-based brewing company Braven Brewing is bringing a brewery and restaurant to Bushwick. Braven team Marshall Thompson and Eric Feldman have signed a long-term lease brokered by M Properties Group for 52 Harrison Pl., between Morgan and Knickerbocker avenues. The 2,500-square-foot warehouse space currently holds Lantern Hall, which will soon vacate the space to make way for Braven Brewing Company. Braven first started in 2013 and currently only distributes beer within New York. Most bars in Bushwick carry the local brand, which includes an American IPA, a pilsner, a white IPA, and a black pale ale. In the new warehouse space, Braven will open a 60-seat restaurant along with its brewing operation in the back part of the building. The menu at the restaurant will fittingly be beer-centric, with takes on standard pub fare that incorporate beer as an ingredient as much as possible, Thompson says. Dishes will include beer cheese nachos and white IPA-marinated chicken bratwursts. He also says Braven plans to be the only restaurant in NYC serving DC’s signature half-smoke sausage, inspired by his and Feldman’s time living in DC. They’re currently still seeking a beer-educated chef to manifest this menu." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya

I made a reservation here based on OT and because it had brewery on it, i was in the mood for that. Located on Harrison St north of Flushing ave, it is non descript and low key. I liked that upon my arrival. There was plenty of parking and they told me during the day, there is none, but at night it opens up for spaces. Thats a huge deal for me. It has a nice long bar on the left side and you can see the huge vats for brewing towards the back of the place. The people greeted us with a friendly smile and we decided to sit at the bar on the end. It is a very clean place including the white marble looking bar. The had about 14 spouts for beers they produce. I believe they have brews for every palate that may come in. You will see the menu below. Sydney was warm and welcoming and offered us to go with flights. That was an awesome choice. My friend and I chise different brews so we can share 8 beers. They all had their charms! Also, ordered french onion soup, Braven burger abd the kale salad. All were very good! One of the owners, Marshall, gave me a history of the breweries in the area which i never knew. He knew his stuff when it comes to brews. He was very pleasant to speak to and is just a good friendly dude. He was very open and anyone would enjoy conversin with him when he is not busy. I we were about to leave an influx of about 20 customers were arriving and they looked like they were going to enjoy this place as much as i had!! I would certainly return!

Worth the trip from Manhattan on the L train. Beers on tap here exclusive to the brewery. The owners are friendly and educated about he brewing process. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Moders space with plenty of seating options either by the bar or at small tables for two to six people. The 14 rotating taps covers most of the common beer styles. Draft beers are available in 4/8/16oz (some limited ones in 10oz) pours. If you can't make up your mind just get the flight of four beers for $10. The also have cans, bottles and growler fills to go. Some mech is available for the diehard fan (shirts and glasses). The kitchen doesn't open until 5pm for now, but I was told that they will serve brunch in the future.

I tried dang near every beer on the menu over the course of an afternoon/evening filled with wonder and delight and a remarkable burger. All beers are available in 4 oz pours, which is excellent for trying lots of them (and Braven has lots of beers worth trying!)

This brewery is amazing and completely exceeded my expectations!! The atmosphere is relaxed, great selection of beers, and above all, the food is EXCELLENT!! Not your average pub food - be prepared to eat! My group ordered the fried chicken, fish and chips, and a burger, all paired deliciously with the Bushwick Pilsner and the Vibes Summer Ale. We also had for starters the mussels and beets appetizer, as well as the fabulous charcuterie board. Our server was lovely and the chef is outstanding! Can’t wait to go back!

Great beer! We were given free samples of one kind. The ambience was good, not too loud but pleasantly busy. The dish & chips were excellent, as well as the cheesecake I had for dessert. Definitely worth visiting again.

Was surprised by the menu - head and shoulders above your average pub grub. The fried chicken was delicious and very juicy. Also like the small beer sample sizes to help navigate through their extensive beer options.

Owners Eric and Marshall are very warm and welcoming and happy to recommend beer styles that suit anyone's preferences. I really liked the Skyliner IPA, Las Tumbas stout, Soul Radiation Double IPA, Bushwick Pilsner, and Shotgun Shack IPA. As for food, I tried the fried pickle chips, shishito peppers, and the beyond burger. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I've been there twice now, once at the bar, and once as a table for 5. This place is great for groups or a stop-in at the bar to try a few well-crafted beers. I'm looking forward to coming back for their weekend brunch soon! Keep up the good work, guys!
